Minecraft: Story Mode - Episode 3: The Last Place You Look

Episode 3 gets the series back on track and make any fears I had stemming from Episode 2 feel like a distant memory.

Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 3 pulls off a fantastic turnaround for a series that was looking rather lackluster. Issues still persist, and Telltale will have to capitalize on what works well here while moving beyond the things that didn't, but overall it is a massive improvement over what we saw in the first two episodes.

This is another short episode (my first playthrough clocked in at less than 90 minutes), which makes Story Mode a little on the brief side compared to recent Telltale offerings. But that brevity is my biggest complaint, which, if you look at it from the most charitable view, means the game never outstayed its welcome. Story Mode remains a great experience--especially if you're playing with younger fans of Minecraft--and my anticipation for the next episode remains high.

Definitely a step in the right direction after the awful Assembly required. It is a longer game, with a new and decently developed character, and a bit more freedom if you compare it to the past episodes.

Epiosde 3 gets Story Mode back on the right track, adding a great new character and taking players through some dramatic, emotional moments.

The Last Place You Look is more of the same -- and slightly better, if anything -- so those who have enjoyed the series thus will be pleased to just keep on trucking.

If you sleep with a plushy Creeper instead of pillow and if you cut down the trees with fists, you may enjoy the third episode of Minecraft: Story Mode just because it is Minecraft. Otherwise, it is the weakest part in the whole series – boring, clichéd and just plain silly.

Wayyyyy better than the 2nd episode. Not as great but they have at least started to put in more Minecraft related thing. Hopefully future episodes are better and needs improvement

It's getting better. I wouldn't say great yet. Just better. Still pales in comparison to the rest of Telltale's body of work. But it's trying, bless it's poor little heart. I actually laughed a few times in this episode. That's a few times more than the previous two. This is a bit more in line with what I thought of when I thought "Telltale's Minecraft Game". Maybe since the team from Tales of the Borderlands just finished up they helped out. I dunno. This is weird, I'm not used to things like this improving anymore. Don't stop though.

Better than 2nd episode. Jokes with Axel and Lukas are funny at first times, but later it's getting boring. There are many weird audio cuts. We'll see how about next episodes.
