Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water
8
User ScoreDatamari
Apr 19, 2018
A great horror game! As a Fatal Frame fan, I loved this game. It has a terrifying atmosphere, like any horror game should have, and the story is engaging, it'll keep you on the edge. The use of the gamepad as the camera is a bit odd, but it works well. People like to bring down this game because of the censorship in one scene, and while that is a bit disappointing, this is a game about horror, not looking at lewd Japanese girls. The controls do seem a bit clunky, and the encounters do seem repetitive at times. But the environments, the horror element, everything about this game makes it worth that huge download. Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water gets an 8/10.

Miitopia is fun, addictive, albiet silly RPG. Similar to Tomodachi Life, you don't have much control over the gameplay besides your main character, so most battles come down to pure luck rather than strategy. However, the game is all about its charm, which comes from being able to make any character what you want them to be. It's so funny to see King Nicolas Cage get his face stolen from the Dark Lord Tommy Wiseau. This game hardly takes itself seriously, being a more lighthearted and goofy take on the RPG genre, so if you're expecting anything more, you won't like it. The game offers over 20 hours of gameplay, so it often pads itself out for a bit too long, and the jokes and gags can wear thin after a while, but overall, Miitopia is a fun and pleasant experience that doesn't break any new ground, and certainly isn't worth the $40 price tag, but I would recommend you try it out. Blizzard, you never disappoint. Just make sure the Warcraft movie is good, ok? Overwatch is Blizzard's first attempt at a new type of game; they've put away their knowledge of MOBAs and MMOS, and have now moved into the world of first person shooters. The question is, does it work? Hell YES. This game is incredible. Overwatch has done something that no other FPS has done in years: be truly engaging and fun. The classes are all fun to use, each with their own personalities. The game modes are hype-filled thrill rides, the gameplay is balanced to where people who don't like shooters can enjoy, the maps are all fun to play on, and almost everything about this game is absolutely amazing. It's easily one of Blizzard's best games in years, and while Overwatch isn't the best shooter i've ever played, but I can see myself playing this game for a long time coming. It's one of the best games i've played this year, and no other shooter this year will come close to what this game has accomplished. Overwatch gets a 10/10. Cheers, love!

It's good, I swear. Hitman is the reboot of the well-known franchise, and one of my favorite game series ever. The newest installment is surprisingly really good! The graphics are good, the stealth is tight, and a huge variety of ways to take out your target, from running in guns-a-blazing to taking out your target with nobody hearing the wind blow. It's a really good game, but the current episode is very short, only having 3 missions. I think the only reason it's getting a low score here is that people don't seem to realize that this is an episodic game. The next episode will be out soon, so just be patient and there will be more to this game. It's a very short game for what it is at the moment, but what's already there is great. I love this game, and even after beating the episode, I keep coming back to it. Don't pass this one up, folks. Hitman gets a 7/10.

This game has a lot of good things going for it, but nothing was put together in a satisfying way. Layers of Fear was a game that I was worried about; due to the fact that people were saying it was one of the scariest games in recent years, even going as far to call it scarier than Outlast. So what do I think of it? Well, it's a very well made game, but it fails to hit it's mark when it could have easily been a truly scary game. The graphics are nice, the soundtrack is perfect, and there are some genuinely scary moments in the game. As I traversed deeper into the game, I became more scared and unaware, and that's what a horror game should be, it needs to build up to something that will either shock you, or scare you. The game does use many jumpscares to its advantage, but most of them come out of nowhere when you least expect them, such as opening a door and it slamming against a wall, a loud scream coming out of nowhere, etc. It's a solid horror game overall, but it falls victim of horror cliches. It uses almost the exact same scene from P.T, and the place is scattered with wheelchairs, ala Silent Hill. Plus the ending is worthless, making everything end so fast, despite what you've accomplished. But overall, Layers of Fear offers a solid horror experience that should not be overlooked. Layers of Fear gets a 7/10.

This game is absolutely fantastic, and i've sunk so many hours into it in such a short amount of time. If you take everything that made the original XCOM and its predecessors so great and refined what was there, you get XCOM 2. It has a challenging but fair battle system that may throw off new players, but still have some challenge for veterans of the XCOM series. Most of the soldiers have been changed, but its for the better, considering some felt under-powered, and some felt too strong for their own good. As always, they can be customized to your liking, but that's been added to weapons as well. Tough and rewarding, XCOM 2 is a fantastic experience that will keep you engaged for a long time. I've sunk almost 30 hours into this game, and there's still alot that I haven't done. XCOM 2 gets a 9/10.

Don't let the franchise name fool you. Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a great game; nothing more, nothing less. It's one of those games that is good or bad depending on how you look at it. On the good side, the specialist classes are diverse and fun to use, the shooting is great, the guns are varied, and the game is an overall solid FPS. The Zombies mode is alot of fun too, even if it takes some time to get used to it. (The Beast, Rituals, etc.) I especially like the new supply drop feature of having its own currency to open them, as well as certain weekend periods where you can earn double experience points. It's a solid FPS overall, however it does have its shortcomings. The campaign is best enjoyed with friends, however the story itself is as boring as your typical CoD game. Plus, the new movement system isn't really all that. I know the constant argument will be that it's just the same game just re-skinned, but if you just take a step back from the hatred of the CoD franchise, it's a good game, and it shouldn't be written off as nothing. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 gets an 8/10.

A solid game despite a few issues. 2013's Tomb Raider was one of my favorite games of 2013, and for good reason. It had a great story, great gameplay and more. Rise of the Tomb Raider makes it even better with better gameplay, better visuals, and a story that is just breathtaking. I love the massive environments to explore, the improved combat, and the mixture of platforming, combat, and stealth all blended into one great game. However, despite these improvements, I still have some complaints. The puzzles didn't really seem that challenging, and the combat can be a mess at some times. Also, i'm playing the PC version of the game; and compared to the Xbox One version of the game, the PC port is poorly done; having some FPS drops during cutscenes. However, despite some technical issues and minor annoyances, I enjoyed this game; it's not worth buying an Xbox One for, but it's still very good. Rise of the Tomb Raider gets an 8/10.

It's VERY good. Life is Strange may not be as good as The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us, but it's still great. Max and Chloe are likable and relatable characters that not alot of video games try to do. The game itself is a beauty; enchanting visuals, an engaging story, and some moments that may not get you crying, but they'll get you emotional. The game still follows the Choose Your Own Adventure style, however with a mechanic that lets you rewind back a few seconds, letting you go back and see what else you can do, such as saving somebody, seeing what else may happen, etc. Obviously you can't rewind between episodes, and there are some moments where your power is stripped away, and you've only got one shot to do something. It's a very enjoyable game, however no game is without it's flaws. For example, the stealth sections are stupid; they have no additional add-ins such as distractions, it's just you running from cover-to-cover at the right time; it's not actual stealth. In fact, anything other than exploration is just a mess; I think i'd be better to include some puzzles rather than having some thrown in and have them be lackluster. It's a beautiful, touching and messy game, but I recommend it to anybody looking for a great experience. Life is Strange gets an 8/10.

You're trying to fight against the video game by completing different variations of one puzzle, and it tries to break the 4th wall... a bit too hard. 4th wall breaking in games has already been done, so this game really isn't anything new. The game had a lot of potential to be balls-to-the-wall insane with it's 4th wall, but it just pokes it. It's not a bad game, but it really should've been something more. Pony Island gets a 7/10.

The idea **** detective trying to find out the mystery of his own murder is a novel idea, but the gameplay itself is boring. The game consists of you going around and collecting evidence, then bringing them together; maybe fighting a few spirits, but you don't get punished for failing them, so what's the point? Plus, the possession mechanic isn't as effective as you think it would be. Think of it as a more strict version Beyond Two Souls's possession system. Think of it as a more engaging Fire Emblem. The story is very good, and throughout the game, you'll have a series of tough decisions to make that can either give you a reward, or a major penalty. You also have to manage resources, such as supplies and morale. The combat is great; it has a unique armor feature that effects your character's strength. This game is really good. Batman Arkham Knight may do a lot of things differently than from the previous entries in the series, but it's still a well made Batman game. The game looks absolutely gorgeous on the PS4, and the detailed open world gives a well-made representation of Gotham. The amount of detail put into it is great, and even gives homage to some other DC superheroes such as Superman and Aquaman. The game retains what it already has in the Arkham games, but has some smaller improvements on top of some familar gameplay. However the biggest difference being the inclusion of the Batmoblie. This new feature is a hit or miss; it feels great to drive around Gotham and take on enemies with it's battle mode, but there is a lot of high-action combat that mostly takes place in the Batmoblie. Almost no boss battles or important fights take place on foot. There's hardly any boss fights to begin with; it's mostly just you/Batman investigating crime scenes, finding the culprit, and fighting their goons and stopping their plan. It may seem like a big deal, but the gameplay, story, characters, missions and the replay value this game offers make you truly feel like the Dark Knight. Batman: Arkham Knight gets an 8/10.

The amiibo system is still stupid, and a lot of elements that make a Mario Party game are taken away, making this game one of the most unenjoyable Wii U games. The visuals and minigames may be pretty good, but that's all this game really has going for it. The fact that you have to land on a specific space to play a minigame takes away the excitement of coming back from 3rd or 4th place if you win; it's dumb. Sure, kids may enjoy it, but this game really stops the party. If you want to play Mario Party, you'd be better off playing 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 or 8 rather than play the lackluster newer versions. A great experience, but not a good game. Beyond Two Souls is another game by Quantic Dreams, the same people who made Heavy Rain, so you'd think this game would be good. However it's not as good as HR, but it's still worth a rental. The main thing about this game is that: "your choices matter". Well.. they don't. Almost none of the choices you make seem to affect the story, and the quick time events have no consequence to failing. I know the argument is that people who play it will most likely do them anyways, and I can see where you're coming from there; you'd most likely do the QTEs to get the full experience. The story feels very disjointed, going all over the place with Jodie's life, one minute you can be a child in a snowball fight, next you can be in the FBI. It doesn't really feel fluid when it comes to story telling; you can get an idea of what the story has to offer, but what the game tells you is just examples of how Jodie uses her powers. There are some redeeming qualities about this game though, the graphics are great, the performance by Ellen Page is brilliant, the world is engrossing, It's one of those games that you don't play, you experience. EA may be greedy, but they make some damn good games. Star Wars Battlefront is here, and it's.. not exactly what we expected. It captures the essence of the Star Wars universe, having most of the sound effects, characters, and the overall elements of Star Wars. It has great visuals, good sound design, and the modes are fun; the Walker Assault mode being my favorite. However, there is hardly any content to Battlefront. There's no sort of campaign, which would've been a great addition; seriously, it's STAR WARS. The combat can get repetitive, the progression system is lackluster, and sometimes there really is no point to coming back to the game. I felt as if there could have been a lot more that this game could've given us, like space battles with TIE fighters and X-Wings or maybe even pod-racing. Overall, Battlefront is not a bad game, by any means. It makes you feel as if you're in the Star Wars universe, and the co-op and solo missions are great! The minigames themselves aren't entertaining, making it more of an obligation than a game. The worst part about it is that it's required to have an Amiibo to play; even though the game comes with Amiibo cards, the "full experience" requires you to buy the Amiibos. An absolute masterpiece. You've probably heard about The Last of Us one way or another, and have heard that it's one of the best video games ever created. Those facts are true. The Last of Us has one of the best stories that i've ever experienced. It has some mature themes that no game would dare touch on, it has some heart-breaking moments that will get you really emotional; expect to cry or feel terrible at least once. But one of the key elements to The Last of Us is Ellie. Ellie is by far one of the most realistic characters in any game ever made, her reactions, the way she acts is unlike any video game heroine. The combat is fluid, having to manage your resources while keeping yourself alive. The online multiplayer is really fun as well, the Last Man Standing mode captures the game's feel. The story telling, the combat, the characters, are all nailed so well and so right that it's hard to find anything bad about this game. It's OK. Minecraft: Story Mode may be that one Telltale game that nobody likes, but as a long-time Minecraft fan, I enjoyed this game for the most part. The story follows Jesse, a guy who hoped to win the building contest and meet Gabriel the Warrior. The animation of this game is... eh. I'm playing it on the PC version, but the animation is lackluster, and compared to Minecraft animators, they could've done a better job. The game may not be as action-packed as The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us, but it's still engaging, and I was hooked when I played this game. It's only the first episode, but I bet this game will get even better as time goes on. Minecraft: Story Mode - Episode 1: The Order of the Stone gets a 7/10.

It's great! I don't think I need to introduce you to Super Smash Bros. It's one of the most popular gaming franchises of all time, and the newest addition to the series, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is easily the best Smash Bros. game next to Melee. The wide cast of characters is staggering, ranging from Little Mac from Punch-Out, Villager from Animal Crossing, and even Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles! The roster is a definite win. The big new feature is online mode, which features a For Fun mode, where you have regular 4-player matches with items, and your wins and losses aren't recorded. For Glory features Final Destination type stages including 1 on 1 matches with your wins and losses recorded. While these modes can be extremely laggy, and there is no proper ranking system, online mode is definitely great. The 8-player smashes are hectic fun, but it IS easy to lose yourself in all of the chaos normally confusing one character to your own. Most other modes are great, and can steal endless hours away from beating Classic, All-Star, Target Smash, etc. SSB4 is an amazing game, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that. There are some technical issues here and there, but it's a fantastic experience for everybody, Smash veterans and newcomers alike. I used to say that Super Mario 3D World was the best Wii U game, no longer the case. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U gets a 9/10

Bleh. The key point to Revengeance is the combat, and while it's not as good as Devil May Cry, it comes close. It's badass, but it's not outstanding; you use light and heavy attacks, but no dodge button, which is dumb, but you normally cut through enemies fast enough for them to hit you, and that sometimes takes away the challenge to the game. However the combat is the only thing I could find that was good about this game. The story is worthless, the stealth mechanics are stupid, and the boss fights are repetitive and bland. The combat is satisfying, but the bad design choices make this game one big meh. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance gets a 4/10.

The gameplay is great! The new open world stealth mechanics take a while to get used to, but it's great once you experiment on how to get to your objective. It's enjoyable, and the new features this game has to other MGS games are awesome! ...but don't buy this game. This game only lasts one hour, and while there's a lot of replay value, there isn't much to Ground Zeroes, but the gameplay gave us an idea of what The Phantom Pain would be like. This game, while has some interesting gameplay, should not exist. Don't buy this game, wait for it to be on sale or rent it if you want to try it out; even though this game is pointless to play now that The Phantom Pain is out. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes gets a 7/10.

It's not as good as it presents itself. The main concept of Evoland is that every time you collect a chest, you upgrade the game itself, such as new graphics or different style gameplay. It's a really good concept, but the lack of challenges makes this game more of a reminiscent of games like Zelda or Final Fantasy. There is no story to this game, and it is super short, being only 3 hours long. The evolution idea is great, but the execution is not as good as it wants to be. Evoland gets a 4/10.

This game is cruel! I like it! Bloodborne was developed by the same people who made Dark Souls, which is notorious for being one of the hardest games ever made. Bloodborne is no different, and while at first it may seem like a Dark Souls clone, it's more of a successor to the franchise. It's still punishing and savage, but still enjoyable in terms of combat and level design. The game looks great, the story is surprisingly deep, and the overall gameplay is what makes this game worth every death. the only problem I have with this game is that the frame-rate drops and loading screens can slow the pace, and the chalice dungeons seem a bit underwhelming. But despite these technical issues, Bloodborne still holds out as a fantastic experience, but if you're new to games like these, i'd recommend playing Dark Souls 1 or 2 before playing this. However, just a tip of advice before playing any of these games: be prepared to die. Bloodborne gets a 9/10.

Nope. Devil's Third has a lot of good ideas, but none of them are executed well. The "high paced action" is nothing but a mess, the graphics look like they belong on the Playstation 2, and the single player campaign is one of the most terrible experiences i've ever seen. The only good part I can say about this game is the melee and gunplay mixture, and the controls are alright, but this game does not deliver in any other regard. This game will take it's place beside many others as one of the worst games of 2015. Devil's Third gets a 2/10.

It's bad. It's really bad. The controls are absolutely terrible, it looks terrible, and the sounds are just awful. There is not a single thing that I can say that Alone in the Dark: Illumination did good, and it's such a shame to see a franchise drop dead like this. In the single-player campaign, the only way to play this game is on Easy, because it is literally impossible to play on any other difficulty. In fact, Easy mode is TOO easy, hardly any monsters spawn, but anything above that is a massive wave of monsters. There is NOTHING good about this game, and I feel sorry for the poor saps who paid 19.99 for this piece of garbage. Seriously, don't buy this game just to see how bad it is, it's really that bad. Alone in the Dark: Illumination gets a 1/10.

FANTASTIC! Fallout 4 is the game that everybody has been excited for, and since Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games of all time, I was pretty hyped for this game. It brought the hype, it really did. I can easily say that this game, while flawed is worth it. It has a huge world, and almost everything you do in this game impact the story, which is something I really enjoy. The characters are good, and almost no character feels bland or boring. The story is strong, and I really liked the crafting system. The main reason why people don't like this game is because it's buggy. Let me ask you a question: do you expect games to be perfect? Did you go up to this game and think that it would be the best game you've ever played? Of course not. Fallout 4 is not perfect, it never will be, but the amount of good in it makes it all worth while. Fallout 4 is a fantastic game, but in it's current state, it's full of glitches that will be fixed. It brought the hype, and V.A.T.S the truth. Fallout 4 gets a 9/10.

It's pretty good. I've never been too big of a fan of Assasin's Creed. I've played AC 3 and Black Flag and I love those games, but the other one's besides Unity and Rouge (which were god-awful), were just meh. So after Unity, I didn't keep my hopes high for Syndicate. However, it was much better than I expected, but it's still not a fantastic Assasin's Creed game. It's great to travel around in Victorian London on a carriage, or hopping across buildings. The quests are great, the upgrade systems are rewarding, the stealth is tight, and thankfully it's not as glitchy as Unity. However there are still some parts that I disliked. The game doesn't run as well as you'd expect, and the story didn't leave as much as an impact as it should've. The villians hardly do anything to be bad, and similar to The Order: 1886, the pacing is slow. The game is still enjoyable, but the story as a whole didn't really amuse me. If you want to get into Assasin's Creed, don't start with this, you'd be better off playing Brotherhood or AC 3 first. However if you're an AC fan, you'll enjoy this, but it's still not the best game in the series, I personally think Black Flag is the best. Assassin's Creed Syndicate gets a 7/10.

It's very good. Not perfect, but still good. Soma is a psychological horror game made by the same company behind Amnesia: The Dark Descent, so you know that this game is going to be good. There's a lot to this game, and as you go deeper and deeper into it, you start to dive deeper into insanity because some of the choices you have to make can really question if you're a good person anymore. Then again, that may just be me; you get the point. The puzzles are pretty hard, and in this case, it's not that good because this game more focuses on story than any, so the puzzles are a no. Plus the stealth parts of the game are pretty sloppy, so don't expect too much from that. The jumpscares are pretty lenient, so the game fortunately doesn't fall under that trap. Overall, Soma is a solid horror experience, it has most of what you expect out of a horror game, a spoopy atmosphere, the uneasy feeling as you make choices, and the engaging story make this game worth your time. While it's not perfect, it makes for an intense horror experience. Soma gets a 9/10.

Boring, but it's not bad. The Order 1886 is a cover-shooter that takes place in the 1800s, and it's a lot less than you'd expect. The story is engaging, but the pacing is slow, and I easily got bored in the first hour. The game features quick-time events, but that's most of what you do if you're not actually playing the game. There's too many quick-time events, and that's not a good thing, especially if that's most of the game. I will admit, and you're lying the yourself if you say differently: this game is beautiful in terms of graphics. However, the game tries to be a cinematic experience by always being in widescreen, and it's really annoying. I fully respect Sony for setting the game in the 1800s though, it's a neat concept, but unfortunately, they more focused on a good-looking game other than making the game fun. Overall, The Order:1886 is like a bad Hollywood superstar; it's gorgeous, but failed to execute what makes a game good: enjoyability. While it stood up in graphics, the game suffered the cost of freedom. The Order: 1886 gets a 5/10.

It's a good game, but not a great RPG. In Paper Mario: Sticker Star, you don't level up or gain new moves. You find stickers to use in battle, so the game is more about managing resources rather than grinding for levels. There's no reward for battling other than coins, and the only thing you spend coins on are more stickers. The game is pretty easy, I beat it in only a week, but the boss battles are tough, and cause massive spikes in difficulty. But the game is still good; the visuals are nice, it has some good ideas to it, and it's very fun to play. It has some lost RPG elements, but it's still fun to play, and it shouldn't be overlooked. It's a pretty good strategy game. Plague Inc: Evolved has you making your own disease to destroy the world. As you slowly infect and kill humans, you gain DNA points to upgrade your disease, and it can get difficult to either make it kill, or make it hard to cure. Speaking of curing, that's the hardest part about this game, preventing a cure. Popping the cure bubbles doesn't really do much, so if you're low on DNA points and the cure research is 75%, you might as well start over. It's a really fun game, having so much replay value, and difficulty even on Normal mode. (Seriously, this game is hard. I'm still stuck on the Fungus.) It's easy to get bored quickly, as the game takes a while to even get the first notification that your disease did something, but it's a great strategy game, and I definitely recommend this game if you're thinking about getting it. Plague Inc: Evolved gets a 7/10.

It's not a terrible 3d Sonic game! Sonic Lost World was the first Sonic game on the Wii U, and I remember being quite hyped for this game. I played the demo on the 3ds, and eventually I got the game. It's certainly not bad, by any means; it's not as good as Colors, Adventure 2 or Generations, but it's still decent. The game has a high focus on platforming this time around, though; it's not very good. There's not a much of a high focus on speed this time around, which is something Sega needs to improve on in order to make a proper Sonic game. Speaking of Sonic, he still retains most of his basic abilities, such as the spin dash and homing attack, and the Wisps from Colors return with new abilities. The level design this time around can be enjoyable at some points, but the others are just a bore; the controls try to fit where platforming works, but for a Sonic game, they feel wrong because you somewhat differentiate them with other controls. Overall, Sonic Lost World isn't a terrible game, by any means. It has good graphics, the level design can be good sometimes, and the alternate paths that you can take make for more replay value, but the poor design choices such as the lack of speed and poor controls make this game not as good as any other good Sonic game. Sonic Lost World gets a 6/10.

A pretty good horror experience. I'm pretty sure everybody knows about Five Nights at Freddy's at this point, but this is easily the best game in the series. I will admit that it's not the scariest game ever made, but it's a great game all around. The idea this time is that your a child in his room hiding from the animatronics. You have to hear for when an animatronic is near, which while it is a good idea, it's not used very often during the nights. You also have to check behind you and in a closet, which gives the constant fear of being attacked from behind. The jumpscares are pretty scary this time around, because in some cases, you never know when they'll scare you, which make this game's jumpscares the best in the series. Depending on your jumpscare tolerance, you'll get scared almost every time, but if you know what to expect, you'll never get scared. It's a solid horror experience, and if you enjoy the series, you'll like this game. I can see why some people don't like this game, it can be unentertaining at times, and the fan base is a bit.. rabid to say the least, but the game by itself is still a satisfying experience, and a great conclusion to the FNaF franchise. Five Nights at Freddy's 4 gets a 7/10.

One word. WHY. Why did this have to happen to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater? We all love the series, it's fantastic! Pro Skater 1 and 2 was fantastic! Pro Skater 3 and 4 was great! But this game is easily the worst in the series. I was hyped for this game, a Tony Hawk Pro Skater game on the PS4! But NOPE! This game was a complete waste, and it had so much potential! The key thing that Activision wanted was to include online-interaction. Surprise, it ****. There is no option to play on your own, messing up your single-player experience. It's hard to pull off the Glendale Grind when you see some skater in the distance getting his board stuck in the wall. Speaking of which, this game is buggy as crap. You are going to have glitches happen at least once in your playthrough. The developers said they were aware of the bugs, and that they were going to fix it. Which will make the game at least playable, but even cleaning up the game won't solve it's many problems. The level design is bland, and there is zero physics when it comes to playing this game. All-in-all, THPS 5 is not good, it's very bad; the skating mechanics are still enjoyable, for the most part, but the constant FPS drops, the choppy gameplay, and the fact that there is almost no connection to the original games makes this game bad. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 gets a 3/10.

Badass. It's essentially an 8-bit run-and-gunner starring characters from old action movies such as Robocop, John Rambo, and.. wait, Chuck Norris is in this game? Ok, it's perfect. I'm clocking out early. 10/10. Anyways, the environment around you is completely destructible, which makes for more gameplay options. Also, there are so many explosions going on, it would make Micheal Bay cry. However, as a result of this, it's easy to lose yourself in all of the chaos and die. There's a level editor, which in some cases is completely worthless, but it allows for you to play other people's levels which is really cool! The game is pretty short, like any indie game, but the excitement, the humor, and the gameplay make this game so much fun. If there's one thing I think this game needed was more explosions. BROFORCE gets an 8/10.
