Loving this game. Finally you can'thold on to the ball forever, great music.

Franchise is pretty fun. The graphics aren’t very good. Pretty glitchy, (ball going through defenders) and superstar mode is terrible except for the Combine. I wish you could skip over games like RTG. Compared to CFB25, this game isn’t very good.

This is the most glitchy madden I have played, the only difference between this and Madden 24 is that you need to time up your hits sticks, and honestly me and my friends have not figured out this mechanic after over 100hrs.

Madden 25 is a game which promised to be an another "Make Or Break" for the series in which has become ever so stale, and again just like with the title before it, it disiponted. EA Sports has failed constantly to supply a healthy NFL licensed experience, stop buying it, so the NFL will revoke the aggrement with EA, EA has no idea what their doing at this point, and have made Madden into a piece of trash compared to the older titles. EA, I ask that you please stop making football games, you don't know what the heck you are doing, honestly, I feel sad for John Madden the most, turning in his grave over this greedy bull*hit.

There are polished elements of this game that unfortunately can't cover up bad gameplay geared towards lining EA's pockets. With continuous improvements to visuals and ways to take your money through microtransactions, EA has yet again ignored the fans. Buying NFL rights is the only way they have stayed "on top". A move they immediately went to when 2K started making football games leaps and bounds better. The Madden franchise only continues on only because of lack of choice. They hype the physics engine every year yet DBs still stop full speed WRs at the 1 yard line, from behind. Online co-op franchise is probably one of the most ignored requests to date. Franchise changes lean towards making it worse more than improving. Superstar is a joke with limited positions, terrible "storylines", and bad camera angles.

The old madden 25 was better than thisone and it wasn't even a great madden. This Franchise is utterly hopeless. EA solely operates off ultimate team and micro transactions that gives them hundreds of millions yearly. Additionally, they have the comfortability of being the sole NFL liscensed game. These 2 factors provide the perfect conditions in which EA does not give a **** about the quality of their game. No matter how bad the game is, it won't have competition and hundreds of millions will still be made off micro transactions in ultimate team in a system that is little more than online slot machine gambling for cards. The vast majoirty of NFL Game fans say that Madden 05,08 or Espn 2k5 are the greatestNFL Games ever. Personally I believe Madden 11 is. the fact that these 15+ year old games are considered such is simply an embarrassment for EA and in spite of the games having all the advantages of being made 20 years in the future, they still don't hold a candle to the old ones. Removed feature from the series since the glory days are endless. My personal favorite they removed are classic teams and all time teams likely to facilitate more people to play ultimate team. This youtuber SoftDrinkTv is an excellent biographer about all that is **** about current madden and what the old ones did differently. Unfortunately, I've given up hope that my beloved series will ever change and correct their ways. I have decided the forever stick with Madden 11. If you have any capacity of care for NFL games, don't buy it and if you do, certainly don'tplay ultimate team. Our only hope is if the NFL this year doesn't renew their sole NFL license ship with EA. I literally hate EA. They are greedy, bottom feeding, scum. Games are supposed to be fun, and a way to relieve stress, not a vehicle for corporate greed.

Same old EA. Such a shame for this products potential is often squandered by the greed over quality. Nfl really needs to open up their licensing. If you’ve played CFB 25 at all, this will feel like a major step back. If you haven’t, well it’ll feel like every other madden, with less features than madden 12. Woohoo!

Madden 25 is an absolute disaster ****. The throwing mechanics are completely broken. Quarterbacks throw off-target passes no matter what you do, making it impossible to complete a play unless you get lucky. Tackles are just as bad. Everything is timed in a way that feels like you’re just waiting for the game to let you make the hit. The player movement is horrendous, especially with the wide receivers and cornerbacks. Jukes are painfully slow, and cornerbacks seem like they’re running in quicksand, allowing even the slowest tight ends to burn them down the field. It’s a frustrating mess that feels outdated and unpolished. Madden NFL 25 is nothing more than a wasted opportunity. Avoid it at all costs.

I can’t believe that I bought this game at a 70% discount and it still feels like a ripoff. Gameplay is sloppy feeling and completely whacked out. Running the ball is impossible with repeated missed blocking assignments. Passing is somehow even worse. There’s no control over the arc of the ball and it’s either a noodle armed 20 yard under throw, or a piss missile thrown to the farthest DB away from the intended receiver. I just played a handful of online matches and have never enjoyed a game less than that

I think that Madden 25 is perfect because it’s so realistic to the game and I really like it

Probably the worst madden I’ve played in so long I don’t think it could get any worse . I run into so many problems whether it’s random Desyncs or earlier I won’t a game and the game is not even listed and I didn’t level up with ranked already being as difficult as it is . You can bounce off 4 defenders like the game mechanics are so bad we already have to deal with cheese but how you can you fix a game when you got tournaments exploiting how bad it is . Will never purchase another one it’s not getting any better and I’ve been playing for years but when you can’t even do the simple things like get your games counted it’s not even worth it like how is that a reoccurring issue ? Not to mention line men still have no idea How to block up field you can ID and they still will not engage the game has so many bugs as is

Honestly, I think they should fix the UI because I don't like it. Madden 25 is a kind of mid sports game.

Appreciate the updated rosters and that’s about it. It Runs worse and feels worse then Madden 24 or the NCAA college football game that just came out. Its Not designed for a dual running back style so when I play the lions Monty gets no love therefore no sonic and knuckles just sonic. I'm Overall disappointed and hope the next one is better

May not be perfect but man was this such a massive step and improvement from the past couple years. Music is way better and not all just garbage rap. Immersion is not perfect but better with events popping up for players, head coach, training, etc. The draft was definitely done a bit better with immersion. I do think Madden can do a bit better hyping up college players throughout the season and of course other things, but I wanted to say some of the positive things instead of everyone who always focuses on the negatives.

Worst sports game by far the exact same as the last one and is worse than games from the 2000s shameless advertising mut all the time and not adding any meaningful content embarrassing

Can't play the game offline? What absolute trash. I can't play Superstar single player campaign mode without being connected to an EA server?? This kind of thing needs to be outlawed. EA is literally holding anyone's game that isn't their MUT unregulated casino hostage. You want to enjoy the monopoly pro football series? Not without your personal data and being constantly pushed into the MUT mode and given a confusing UI for every mode that includes some connection to an online mode that has a microtransaction store behind it (XP boosters anyone?). This should be illegal, why is this not illegal??

One of the buggiest games of all-time; only fun to play 1v1 against friends.

If your not talking about the price your talking about the gameplay and the gameplay is pretty good while some plays are a little bugged and the game doesn't look great but if it's on sale it's worth it 7.5/10

Wow, this game is horrible. Hot Garbage is the only way I can explain it. The ball trajectory when throwing the football is always horrible, no matter how open your receiver is, if he's on a streak route your qb will not hit him and it will be batted down, the hit boxes are so inconsistent it's somewhat hilarious, how is the football going to phase through my wr one play but then bounce off of his helmet the next? Either the ball or the players have extremely inconsistent hitboxes and that is an extremely easy fix and it is shocking to me that the game doesn't fix it. The new Boom Meter is just awful and causes every single tackle attempt to either be awful or a decent tackle, you'll see players such as Nelson Agholor looking like prime Marshawyn Lynch the way he can make 7 players bounce off of him. This game also has an insane amount of glitches. EA Needs to be held to a higher standard and the NFL needs to remove the exclusive rights. The only reason this game continues to bring in money each year is because it has a monopoly and it's crazy cash grab it has in Ultimate Team. Please do better.

This game is an embarrassment to the NFL. It honestly feels like the same game as Madden 18, at least. It's a lazy roster update year after year after year. I implore you guys to stop supporting this franchise. Nothing changes until EA feels it financially.

The best Madden game to come out in a long time, but that's not saying much at all. The typical Madden issues still exist, and one of these days we'll get proper simulation football. But overall, it's okay, a far cry from previous Madden installments.

After 9 seasons in CFB 25 it was time to switch to the NFL - after one season in it I can do my review. I like it more than NFL 24, some reasons are the much better presentation, it is pretty cool having 3 different commentator sets. The graphic is just stunning and the stadium atmosphere as well. Also the games play very well, had some high scoring ones, some low scoring ones, pretty realistic, I like! Negative points I would say, still that you just can use preset faces when you are a coach, no one look like me xD and glitches in movement, guess the new technology kicks in. Besides that I just like it!

I will admit it is not the worst madden I have ever played. Gameplay is getting there but you don't get a good score from me just because you are just FINALLY figuring it out. Franchise is still pretty weak and not that fun, only thing saving it is playing with Drake Maye. The draft is boring, recruiting is poor, menus are poor, presentation week in and week out is still pretty awful, the added commentators were not a positive change unfortunately. It is SLOWLY at a snail's pace getting there but it is still not where it needs to be.

This game is a huge step in the right direction and this years edition make improvements to franchise mode the mode I play most so this game is good and the on core field gameplay is great and now in franchise mode there are storylines which makes thegame have a story effect to the game and drafts now have players get drafted and when they are drafted they stand next to the nfl gm on the stage and I think this game graphics wise is great and a huge improvement for the next gen consoles

The NFL needs to drop EA this franchise has been an embarrassment for the past 10+ years.

Limited gameplay wise as it has been for the past 15 + years. Sliders dont do what they say they do. In close spaces theres no control. Theres warping, speed boosts, and suction. You cannot put any gameplay side by side with real footage and say they move remotely the same with the same potential outcomes. Franchise is still generally a buggy mess. Simstats are an utter disaster. Computer teams dont have access to many of the new features touted for franchise mode which gives the user an unfair advantage. In reality this game is made for young kids. That would be fine other than its our only choice and everyone is locked into a game that wasnt made with quality as there first priority.

The last Madden I played was Madden 07 on PS2 and the fact that Madden 25 has less features, more bugs and glitches and EA’s lack of polish is an absolute disgrace.

Needs more presentations.mascots,close ups of crowds. National Anthem. Get rid of same ol same old.

Lots of great improvements this year and nice to have some new commentators. Also team builder is a pretty solid feature as well.

Same game as last year. Pass Defense is still broken. Zone defenders are literally inept. Passing cheese. Strip ball button is useless. You also cant see your rank in online head to head anymore.

It’s the same copy and paste broken game it’s been for years. Blocking is horrible as usual but it’s especially bad this year.

Different year same broken Madden. Defensive AI is a joke, offensive blocking is terrible and the glitches are plenty. Franchise mode has hardly changed. This is what happens when you have the exclusive NFL simulation license. No competition equals minimal effort when it comes to EA's NFL Madden series. The NFL needs to desperately open up the NFL simulation license or else risk looking like a subpar product for many more years to come.

I played the beta. When i played the beta i was pleasantly surprised. It was the first time i agreed with it being a step in the right direction, since madden been trash since 07 when they went to 360. I ran victory laps telling people madden is actually good gameplay wise, franchise still is pitiful though. Fast forward to release and this game does not even play like it did during the beta. This game is horrible. We all know that and its clear that EA’s time as the sole nfl game needs to be over. They are an embarrassment to sports games and gaming in general. But lets get to the real issue i have, they packaged madden with cfb to trick people into thinking they were at all connected. It’s extremely shady, the importing players isnt possible and the importing of your RTG player literally offers no story, stat, face… nothing transfers besides the name. The games are not connected at all and then on top of that they did the bundle to benefit from the sales AND the fact that we cant refund the bundle because CFB hours played, even if you never touch madden. That alone tells me they need to manipulate people just to get sales that they wouldn’t otherwise get. It’s pitiful and pathetic. This the first madden in a yeara that i didnt buy used from somebody. I will never buy this game and give them a sale again. Also they need to change the name, Madden would be disgusted

Between the clunkiness, slow movement, easy mode passing, the little difference in player abilities besides speed, missing features in franchise, horrible commentary, missed blocks, user controlled players being the only ones to make a play, and amount of garbage piled onto the outdated engine making the game look the exact same for the last 5-6 years, it’s a terrible game and makes it so frustrating when you want to play a good sports **** I do every year, I’ll be waiting on the contract to expire and go back to an updated roster on 2k5.

25 straight years of buying this game and they've finally done it. Absolutely broken game, draft classes do not even work, so many bugs and glitches. All EA cares about is Ultimate Team. Just so much wrong with this game. It was not ready for release, they do not care about anything but MUT. Its pathetic.

Honestly the first Madden in a while that I actually look forward to playing. Ultimate team cards are ugly though.

The game's AI is also frustratingly bad. Defensive players often seem to have a sixth sense for where the ball is going, and they can make impossible interceptions. On the other hand, my own players often struggle to make simple catches or tackles. The game's presentation is also lacking. The commentary is repetitive and annoying, and the graphics, while improved, still don't quite live up to the standard set by other sports games. I'm also disappointed in the lack of innovation in the game's modes. The "Connected Franchise" mode is just a rehash of the same old franchise mode from previous years, and the "Ultimate Team" mode is still a money-grabbing exercise in microtransactions.

exclusive sim NFL license, doesn’t make sim NFL games. NFL games from 2002 are significantly better. the NFL desperately needs to drop the exclusive license because Madden is a joke and makes the NFL brand look bad. We’re not impressed by the 2 things you add every year to franchise and market them like huge new features. not impressed by the career mode that is pretty much the exact same barebones mode as last year that gets boring after 30 minutes of playing. until MUT isn’t EAs sole focus this game will ****. Gameplay is the best it’s been in years, however going from 2/10 gameplay to 4/10 gameplay doesn’t get you points. team builders cool but barely works online filtering doesn’t work and it probably only exists because of college football. and that’s about it for all new features! Until either A. EA gets off the god awful frostbite engine or B. another company like 2k or sony is allowed to make sim NFL games, madden will continue to ****. luckily for EA now they can artificially increase madden sales by bundling it with college football, meaning we’ll probably be stuck with madden for the next 20 years. Who doesn’t love a good ol fashioned monopoly ?

EA should no longer hold the exclusive license for NFL football. It's not simulation based. It's making the NFL look bad and cheap. Missing tons of features from PS2 era maddens. Has yet to be better than ESPN NFL 2K5. EA is a LAZY company. There needs to be competition. No more excluaive licenses. Let there be competition like there is in the NFL. Earn your spot as the top NFL game. #BringBackNFL2K

Holy ****. 10th year in a row i hadto come on this site to **** on this POS game..... The zone logic is awful. They took match concepts out besides quarters. MUT has gone off the walls, 82ovrs are now 70k on the market, so no more no money spent teams are left..... These guys have ruined football gaming. Save your money, im done until EAs gone.
