Has to be one of the best sports video games of all time, beautiful broadcast presentation, fun gameplay, fun but challenging simulation, features that we still don't even see in modern football games. Still fun to just pick up and play.

I will admit it is not the worst madden I have ever played. Gameplay is getting there but you don't get a good score from me just because you are just FINALLY figuring it out. Franchise is still pretty weak and not that fun, only thing saving it is playing with Drake Maye. The draft is boring, recruiting is poor, menus are poor, presentation week in and week out is still pretty awful, the added commentators were not a positive change unfortunately. It is SLOWLY at a snail's pace getting there but it is still not where it needs to be.

How does EA keep getting away with year after year jippin' people out of their money? Exclusivity is what it is everyone, clearly, there is a comfort from EA and they are comfy with putting out an unfinished product. Just another year of a mediocre product put out to us by EA because ultimate team is an easy product to make money off of. Franchise again despite its improvements is still bare-bones compared to older games and is hindered by the gameplay. Also, I didn't even buy this game, I went and played it with my friend at his house on Gamepass and we could tell it was gonna be another bad year and neither of us decided to buy it. I gave it a 2 because there were active changes whenever the community spoke up but that is not enough for me to give this game praise or give the madden development team praise either. People may think we are being nitpicky whenever it comes to the madden games but whenever you have games from decades before that are better then you are allowed to point out the shortcomings from a product that you already know can be better. It is blasphemy to think that people are going to keep dealing with this year in and year out and there needs to be a significant change by EA to make this a product I will buy again. Non-animation gameplay, franchise depth, and team creation and building is a good place to start for future installments.
