All you need to know is that I want more because this game desperately needs more. I haven't seen a game this poorly optimized in years. My DLC doesn't even work, which is especially frustrating considering how overpriced it already is. The number of bugs is so ridiculous that I'd have to call an exterminator. The core mechanics are fine, sure, but I want the game to feel like it's going over the speed limit, if you catch what I'm saying. Right now, everything feels sluggish, unfinished, and lacking the fluidity you'd expect from a game charging what it does. The biggest problem is that this feels like a half-baked product with enormous potential. If the developers actually want this to become a staple of the horror genre, there needs to be hundreds more animations, significantly smoother movement and interactions, better stability, and, most importantly... a much stronger balancing system. These games constantly struggle with balance because the foundation simply isn't built to support it. No amount of tweaking can completely fix a system that isn't designed for it from the ground up. The Killer is a perfect example. He's basic, painfully slow, and bland. His animations have about as much flavor as eating salt straight off your tongue. There needs to be more personality, speed, fluidity, and variety. I genuinely hope the developers fix these issues because there is a great game buried underneath all of this. Unfortunately, with the licensing situation and the current state of the game, purchasing it feels like a trip wire for anyone hoping to invest in its future. Maybe it will eventually grow into something great. For now, though, I can't see myself changing this review.

For me, Forza Horizon 6 is easily one of the greatest racing games ever made. Almost everything about it feels incredible. The graphics still look amazing, the car selection is stacked, and the tracks and environments are gorgeous. There’s always something to do, whether you want to race seriously, collect cars, tune setups, or just cruise around enjoying the game. The physics are also fantastic for the most part. The cars feel weighty and satisfying to drive without becoming overly realistic and too frustrating at times. It hits that perfect balance between simulation and fun, which is something a lot of racing games struggle to do. The soundtrack and overall atmosphere make the experience even better. The game has personality. My only minor issue comes from some of the online modes that aren’t traditional racing. They hook you and are addictive, but the game barely explains anything in the beginning. There is basically no tutorial, no clear rules, and you’re expected to figure everything out on your own or look it up. That can get frustrating, especially for newer players who just want to jump in and have fun instead of spending hours learning something that should be more accessible. Even with minor flaws, this is still one of the best games I’ve ever played. Its limits are easy to forgive because the core experience is so strong. The community is one of the best. In my opinion, it’s not only the best racing game of all time, but also the true flagship title of the Forza franchise.

I was talking with my wife the day before this was released about a funny shower thought I had. It was this game essentially and it freaked me out the next day when I checked the trending page. Absolute simulation moment. All aside, the game manages to not make everyone, me included, upset about how they handled this. A little weird at parts sure, but its like an actual game which is a great way to do it while having the story as the focal. Now, I know we can do better and this game is not more than a weekend grab but I will be tracking this.

Played it since it came out. Thats a long long time. Had its ups, but it was never an original idea and they never really did anything with it. The mod is so much better. Got banned for calling out a racist in his lobby last week and my friend and I were the one ‘punished’ for it. We don’t support sloth’s biased policies on discrimination, nor their judgement.

I enjoyed the game overall and played through most of it without stopping, but there were some noticeable issues that held it back for me. The skill tree felt very small and underwhelming, lacking the depth I was hoping for. Visually, the game constantly shifts between extremely dark and overly bright environments, which didn’t sit well with my epilepsy and made certain sections uncomfortable to play. As someone who values quality-of-life features and accessibility, I would have appreciated stronger storytelling, a more rewarding loot system, and greater gameplay variety. The parkour is fun at first, but the core gameplay becomes repetitive over time, and the overall experience felt shorter than expected. I also didn’t connect much with Aiden as a protagonist. While the “good” ending had some nice moments, the DLC and additional content didn’t add much substance in my opinion. That said, it wasn’t a waste of time. I’m actually looking forward to playing The Beast as it’s downloading as I write this; and I’m hopeful that the quests and overall systems will feel more refined. I usually pick these games up at a heavy discount since multiplayer tends to be inconsistent, the stories are relatively short, and the gameplay doesn’t always differentiate itself from similar titles. At the right price, though, it’s still worth experiencing.

It’s insanely overpriced at full price and that’s coming from someone who grabbed it for just a few bucks. That said, the core gameplay is actually pretty fun. As a fighting game, it delivers solid mechanics and satisfying exchanges. I can honestly see myself spending more time with this than most 2K sports titles, especially since I’ve always been a fan of combat sports in real life. Visually, the graphics are respectable, but they’re not groundbreaking. They get the job done, though there’s definitely room for improvement. I’m hoping the next installment takes a noticeable leap forward in that department. One thing I don’t hope returns is the longevity system. It’s frustrating and is unnecessarily restrictive. The fact that there’s no option to turn it off is baffling. Who thought forcing that on every player was a good idea? Overall, it’s a fun pickup, especially if you can get it cheap and you’re new to the series. But moving forward, the franchise needs to be bigger, more sustainable long-term, and fully offline-friendly. Not everyone wants constant online modes shoved in their face. Some of us prefer to play offline... and there are a lot of us. I hope they figure out soon PC is also the biggest audience, is it that hard? Hopefully, the developers start listening.

I genuinely don’t know how EA manages to release the same game every year and still make it feel worse, but Madden NFL 26 is the crown jewel of that trend. The performance is a stuttering, lagging mess; and for a game that’s supposed to be played online, you’d think they’d focus on making sure you can actually finish a match without wanting to put your fist through your monitor. Instead, you get random freezes, lag spikes, and the classic Madden tradition: losing all of your progress in the 4th quarter because their servers decided to implode again. Yes, they finally added weather to games. Congratulations, I guess? Except it took forever, and it should’ve been a free update: not something marketed like a groundbreaking new feature to justify another yearly release. To make things even more hilarious, the game runs better on Steam than on the EA app. How do you fumble your own launcher harder than the AI quarterbacks? The in-game sponsorships are borderline disgusting, but at least they’re handled in a way that gives something back to players… kind of. My breaking point? I played one game. It took two hours. Why? Because Madden apparently can’t handle detecting a controller; a controller that every other game on my PC works with instantly. I spent 30 minutes troubleshooting, 10 minutes calming down so I didn’t smash my screen, and then another chunk of time realizing that if your controller disconnects even once, Madden just shrugs and says, “too bad.” No reconnection, no recovery, just an automatic loss. Amazing work for a series that’s been around for decades. I refunded immediately. This is pathetic. I wouldn’t want in my library even for free. EA somehow keeps outdoing themselves in all the wrong ways. Fire everyone.

FC Sports 26 was my first introduction to the series, and for a brief moment, I actually thought I understood the hype. The presentation is slick, the animations can be impressive, and there are flashes of fun hidden inside the chaos. But the deeper you go, the quicker you realize the truth: beneath the glossy menus and shiny player cards, this game is rotten to the core. The entire experience feels like it was built by a studio that’s pretending to be broke, constantly shaking you down for more money like you’re walking through a bad neighborhood with your wallet half-open. Everything is engineered around microtransactions. Mode progression, rewards, pacing, difficulty spikes, it’s all one huge funnel designed to convince you that spending more is the only path to enjoyment. And even if you somehow stomach that, you still have to deal with a game riddled with more bugs than a motel single. Crashes, weird physics, broken animations, menus that lock up, players teleporting, servers dropping for no reason; it feels like a beta that escaped into the wild. It’s baffling that a game this monetized can somehow be this unpolished. What makes it worse is that I didn’t even pay for it, and I still feel robbed. That’s how aggressively the game wastes your time, how shameless the monetization is, and how sloppy the core systems are. It’s the kind of experience that leaves you equal parts exhausted and annoyed, wondering how a company this massive manages to deliver a product this messy every year. There is fun to be had in small bursts, and it is always offline, but the game fights you for every second of it. If this is the state of the franchise, then FC Sports 26 isn’t a sports game, it’s a gambling scheme for children. A glossy $10 trap with a single first impression and a terrible everything else. Here after just 10hrs, and now updating this after just 10 more; my final... and can now say without hesitation that this is the worst game I’ve ever played. EA had every chance, making their continued existence genuinely baffling.

Anno 117: Pax Romana

Anno 117: Pax Romana is a fascinating entry in the city-builder genre. One that shows genuine potential and moments of brilliance, but also exposes its rough edges in ways that are hard to overlook. On the positive side, it is a modern city builder with solid micromanagement systems. There’s a satisfying level of control, and the core gameplay loop scratches that familiar Anno itch. In a time where city builders are booming, and genuinely evolving, it’s nice to see Pax Romana try to bring something new to the table. But that’s also where the problems begin. We’re in a renaissance of city builders right now, and with so many high-quality titles out there, the bar is simply higher than ever. Pax Romana’s improvements stand out, but its shortcomings stand out even more. Building placement isn’t as fluid or intuitive as it needs to be. The design language feels dated. The characters lack polish and liveliness. And the graphics… while serviceable… just don’t hold up against its competitors. Combat? Better elsewhere. Story? Other games do it significantly better. The campaign was shockingly short. I finished it in about six hours, which left the entire experience feeling more like a prologue than a full game. It borrows some of the spirit of Anno 1800, but without the same depth or staying power. But the biggest disappointment for me was the content gating. I bought the deluxe edition expecting, you know… the deluxe edition. Yet a significant chunk of the experience is locked behind online systems. As someone who prefers to play offline, I can’t access the Hall of Fame or unlock features that I would’ve earned effortlessly if I were connected. That decision alone is baffling and frankly unacceptable. And yeah, it’s Ubisoft, so I shouldn’t be surprised, but it still sours the whole package. Because of that, I can’t fully recommend Pax Romana. It has something unique going on, and I genuinely think it’s worth trying for a few hours just to see if it clicks. You may enjoy the vibe and the direction. But for me, it ultimately became another Ubisoft-flavored disappointment, one I’d suggest refunding if it doesn’t hook you early. A promising game that just doesn’t live up to the era it’s releasing into.

Jurassic World Evolution 3

A Step Forward, But Still Playing It Safe I absolutely love the improvements in Jurassic World Evolution 3. The new graphics and world-building system is stunning, easily one of the most impressive updates in the series. I’ve genuinely not seen much like it in other park sims. It gives players more freedom and creativity than ever before… though I still wish it pushed player control just a bit further to really hit that “masterpiece” level. The new dinosaurs are amazing; breathtaking, honestly. Watching them roam around feels more alive and detailed than ever. That said, the gameplay loop still leans a little too close to Evolution 2. There’s a sense of redundancy that’s hard to ignore, and I can already feel more DLCs coming down the line (which probably means more money out of pocket). Speaking of price, I have to be honest: it’s just not worth the full asking price right now. This feels more like an upgraded Evolution 2 than a full new title. At most, I think $40 would have been fair. The Deluxe Edition definitely isn’t worth it. It adds very little for the extra cost. And while I love that Jeff Goldblum came back (he’s genuinely one of my favorite actors, especially for his role in the franchise), I wish they had managed to bring back Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Chris Pratt, or Bryce Dallas Howard too. Having the original crew and BD Wong again would’ve been amazing! BD in particular adds that moral depth the game really benefits from. All in all, Jurassic World Evolution 3 is great. A strong entry that feels familiar but fresh enough to satisfy longtime fans. I had hoped it launched with 120+ dinosaurs and a little more ambition. While it’ll probably get there through updates and DLC, Evolution 2 on sale still holds its own, and I’ve personally gotten hundreds of hours out of it. Final Verdict: 8.5/10 A beautiful evolution, but not quite a full revolution.

I’ve really enjoyed the game so far. It’s refreshing to see something in this genre actually feel good to play and hold attention, even if just for an hourlong chapter. The story and actors? Absolutely carrying. The cast is slaying their roles, and the writing gives them plenty to work with. The characters hit hard, but honestly, that’s because their performances do the heavy lifting. The choices feel natural and rewarding... but I can’t say the same for the minigames, though. Those drag the vibe down more than they add to it. Overall, this game hits solidly good, not great. The episodic release schedule and delays **** a lot of the momentum out of it for me. This could’ve been an easy 10, and I don’t hand those out, if it had just been more accessible and built in some replayability. A free play or sandbox mode would’ve gone a long way, even if it came at the expense of a few story beats. Right now, once you’re done, you’re done, and you have to wait weeks for what you already gave them your money for. Unless you count chasing slightly different voice line percentages as replay value, which… yeah, doesn’t cut it.

So far this is one of the best looking, feeling, and story driven AC games. The graphics are mind blowing and the story sinks you in immediately. The options and gameplay are much better than I would have thought. The only negative I can find is the length of the prologue and cutscenes but if you are more story driven, such as me, this is hardly an issue.

I'm lost for words. They took something from us that was something I could easily say was one of the best. Within fifty turns I had refunded. The lack of... everything is so disappointing beyond belief. No options, accessibility, or even QoL. It's so boring. I’m updating this almost a year later, and the state of it is outright embarrassing. They gave up... completely. Something genuinely promising was gutted for short-term monetization, and the damage is obvious in every corner of the product. I seriously doubt this even came close to breaking even, yet that didn’t stop them from trying to choke fans for every dollar they could extract. Continuing to charge full price for an unbaked, unfinished product nearly a year after release is beyond insulting. This isn’t, and never was, competitive with even the bare minimum standards of the current market. What’s being sold here is the hollowed-out corpse of what was once a spectacular franchise, cynically paraded as a complete experience. This wasn’t just incompetence; it was a deliberate betrayal. To the fans who supported this series for decades, this release was a slap in the face. I’ve been a fan for over twenty years, and this is where that ends. A total collapse of leadership, vision, and execution.
