One of the best, most enjoyable games in the wide selection of Lego titles, a real superhero extravaganza. [01/2018, p.39]

Outside of the story levels, however, it struggles to truly celebrate the rich Marvel comics universe. [Jan 2017, p.87]

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes II is worthy its original. Several small innovations, such as action passages in the air, have given this game a lost smirk. And a lot of content and fun for the whole family are already part of the traditional aspects of this game.

This game is beyond bad. Me and my brother are going for 100% on this game and are going to develop depression and attempt suicide over this game. It is the most unenjoyable piece of **** I've ever had the displeasure of playing. Everything in this game is unpolished, buggy, boring, and unrewarding. The Story is a solid 2/10 and the side content is the same thing over and over for about 50% of your playthrough to 100%. Anybody that has this Lego game in their top 10 Lego games oat is just wrong and is an infant with an IQ less than 2 and less braincells than a jellyfish. I sincerely wish everybody who enjoys this game the worst and hope they stub their toe in the corner of their wall at 4am. Anybody that however, agrees with this game being **** and unpolished slop made for adult baby's who love marvel, I wish you the best and hope you have a strong guardian angel to guide you through this hell ****. The First Lego marvel superheroes game and the Avengers one are easily 12 parsecs better than this game. I couldn't name a single moment in Lego superheroes 2 were i was having fun. The game is genuinely 90% grinding boring ass tasks for a character maybe 3 people have ever heard of. The Story itself is what it feels like seeing a 10/10 woman next to a **** ogre of a man. Lego superheroes 1 is the best Lego game ever with no flaws then there's this garbage. It's just a **** money grab with not substance to it whatsoever. I fully believe me coming out of my mothers **** with about 5min of life experience could make a better game than this piece of **** crashes a minimum of 10x every 2 hours. This is if you have a actually good pc with more than 4 cores because for some **** ass reason a game that came out in 2017 can't handle a CPU with more than 4 cores. It will crash at the most inconvenient time and ruin my mood and demotivate me from forcing myself to play this god awful game. Worst purchase i will ever make in my entire life is buying Lego superheroes 2 for $5.FC26 is more enjoyable going on a 20 game losing streak in clubs and ultimate than playing this.

Esse lego é muito repetitivo e chato, não me cativou tanto quanto o primeiro, mas ele não é ruim, só é um jogo chato

The first PlayStation game I finished with my own hands—a deeply meaningful milestone. (4.0)This game holds immense significance for me as it is the very first PlayStation title I’ve personally cleared through to the ending. Since I’ve always considered myself quite clumsy when it comes to gaming, I usually struggle even with games that offer infinite opportunities, often relying heavily on guides just to **** by. However, this time was different. I spent a long, dedicated period pushing through without looking at a single walkthrough, and honestly, it felt amazing. Reaching the end on my own terms has left me with a profound sense of relief and accomplishment. I’m just glad I finally did it—it feels incredibly refreshing to have finished it this way.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is the game that will reunite you with all of your favorite heroes, Each one with its own set of skills and abilities, each one with a part in the main storyline. Some technical bugs may occur, but it won't take away from this MARVELous experience.

The latest installment of the Lego Marvel series doesn't deviate too far from the franchise's formula, which means it probably won't draw new gamers into the fold. However, it checks all the right boxes and hits most of the necessary marks, giving fans exactly what they crave.

This game is outstanding; LEGO games, in particular, offer an engaging experience, especially when enjoyed in split-screen co-op mode, providing shared moments of fun. Additionally, the Portuguese dubbing is excellent, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

It's a lot of fun, and you're never stuck for something to do. It's also the perfect game to play with your friends and family, and the sheer amount of characters means there's someone for everyone.

One of the best Lego games of the entire series, with a dizzying array of bizarre characters and some genuinely compelling gameplay for younger players.

Playing LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 is a constant battle between being pulled in by TT Games' charm and being pushed away by the repetitive gameplay. For every excellent moment there are seemingly multiple forgettable ones, but if you can stomach the lows of the story, then there are some fun times to be had. Still, this middling effort shows that the LEGO series is in need of some revitalising changes.

This game is carried on the back of its story and characters. Both have a massive level of charm and everything about the interactions and character dialogue is lovable. The roster is massive and the world is surprisingly diverse. The only real problem with the game is the gameplay itself. This is a Lego game, which means it is a kids game. The puzzles are not difficult, the bosses are easy, and the entire game is a relative walk in the park. That is to say the only problem with the game is that is has a charm and fun that makes it a definite favorite across different age ranges, while having gameplay mechanics that are only suitable for children. It is a unique problem that Lego games have, and honestly is not a bad problem to have at all.

I think that a young kid who loves the Marvel comics or movies will adore this game. It’s got everything they could possibly want out of a fun Marvel game for their age group. As for adults, I’d say there’s enough here that’s worth a look over a weekend rental. If you’re looking for a game with a more relaxed pace to chill out with over the holiday season, this one is definitely worth a shot.

I really should preface this with: I'm not a fan of Marvel but I really liked the first game. But this one seemed held together with string, with some deeply unenjoyable load times and a frustratingly long unskippable post-level roundup stat screen. Intro and outro cutscenes were skippable when you replay levels, but slow scenes and pans within the level were not. The map was awkward and not terribly legible - unlocking the Gwenpool missions helped because finally there was a fast travel point that you could see more clearly than the Map Points (the decision to obscure those with a small green tick like all the other icons is quite funny though,) but I'm curious as to why they were designated fast travel points at all.
I actually did enjoy the cast, and I'm sure it's my own unfamiliarity with the franchises but often I'd load into a level with no idea of what my characters could do and how to interact with the game's puzzles, and the game was very very very unpredictable with its nudges and help, often simply trying to talk about another nearby interaction, and covering the minimap as it did so. On top of that, there were just too many powers per character, and having every button have tap, double tap and hold powers did not work well. The fact that Iron Man would go into an incredibly long transform animation every time I tried to switch was infuriating and I dreaded having to use him at all.
The writing was pretty solid, but again let down by the game simply not being good enough - repetitive and overlapping dialogue meant much of it was annoying in their effort to bring the city to life. Stan Lee sounded absolutely terrible and having him constantly bleating in most of the levels was dire. He'd start calling for help anytime you were near, and the levels are not big. It could be relentless.
There were some inspired collectables and fun minigames, but there were some really terrible ones as well, and with no way to track most of them without just exhaustively scouring the whole map, it felt so dated and tiresome. I'm sure there's a lot of joy to be had if this was the only game you had over the summer, but I'm pretty sure that even older Lego games worked better than this did, and I sure hope more recent ones got it back under control. Would not recommend.

Compared to its predecessor, this game is a major let down. The story is fun, but it lost a lot of its "Lego Charm" in the gameplay. All the battles are much slower, favoring button mashing over "Action Puzzles". The puzzles are less intuitive, neither copying or building upon the last game, just providing mechanics that are a further stretch from what is reasonable. The camera is worse in this game, being a little too far zoomed out to determine what is actually going on in the puzzle you are trying to figure out. The cast is far more niche, requiring you be a super fan to recognize half the characters. All in all, I would recommend you avoid this game.
SummaryWith a completely original branching storyline, LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2 introduces amazing new gameplay features, including the ability for characters to manipulate time and a four-player competitive Super Hero battling mode. With a huge array of brand new characters from the Marvel Universe, including old favorites in new guises, t... Read More
