I’ve always loved the Just Dance series, and I’m super excited that now I get to share it with my child, who’s now just getting to the right age for games. Just Dance 2026 is more of the same that we’ve seen over and over again, but in this case consistency is a fantastic thing.

No revolution, but a new, modern, and solid vintage for even more fun with friends, family, or online.

Just Dance 2026 mainly offers value for diehard players, for everyone else waiting or choosing Just Dance + makes more sense.

As a big fan of just dance this edition was kinda boring..... The maps where okay but have a noticeable decline from the previous editions. I also noticed that there are so many ubisoft original songs. It does have some big hits like: ATP, poker face, houdini(dua lipa),hung up,and so many more. One thing I did really not like where the choreo's that where so boring and wayyy to easy.

New versions of the game are killed by new choreography, previously there were clear movements, but now it's complete and chaotic nonsense, and until 2023 the game version had a very good interface!

Just Dance 2026 exemplifies a series that has found its identity and sees no need for fundamental changes. Instead of innovation, Ubisoft delivers reliability: new songs, stable technology, and immediate accessibility. The stronger platform focus via Just Dance+ makes the game more attractive in the long run, but raises questions about the pricing of individual content. Those who dance regularly or use the title as a family game will receive a comprehensive and polished version of the concept. Ultimately, Just Dance 2026 remains what has defined the series for years: a straightforward, cross-generational party game – modernized through digital distribution, but deliberately unchanged at its core.

Just Dance 2026 is a solid release. It doesn't aim to reinvent the formula, but it does aim to polish it until it shines brighter than ever. Its wide musical selection, its commitment to inclusivity, and its vibrant aesthetic make it a well-rounded release, perfect for both parties and solo sessions.

The first "edition" that i bought, i like it. The new camera tracking is so much accurate than joycon or phone. Sometimes joycon doesn't even see my moves. The music selection is ok. The party mode is like what is this????? Tracking does not work. It said clap, i clap AND IT DOES NOT SEE IT.

Just Dance 2026 Edition on Nintendo Switch is a lively, polished and inclusive party game with a strong new Party Mode and a fun, contemporary tracklist, but it leans heavily on its subscription library and changes little at its core – great if you’re returning after skipping a few years, more optional if you already own the recent entries.

Just Dance 2026 Edition once again crowns itself as the undisputed king of the dance floor. Although it adds new features like a multiplayer Party Mode and the option to use the camera to track your movements, this edition still feels more like an additional pack with 40 new songs to expand its already massive music catalog. An enjoyable and effective entry, but a rather conservative one.

Just like with…pretty much every instalment so far, Just Dance 2026 Edition can be described as more of the same - but it’s the good kind of same. It doesn’t reinvent the franchise (and doesn’t really have to) but it keeps the dance floor alive and booming, with the unpredictability of the new Party Mode being this year’s highlight.

What kind of experience is the new Just Dance from the perspective of a dance newbie? Well, first of all, everything is cheerful, lively, and colorful – which isn’t necessarily my cup of tea, but you get used to it. On the other hand, everything runs smoothly (at least on Switch 2), and the experience has been pleasant enough that I definitely plan to keep sweating it out on the "home dance floor". What bothers me more, however, is the lack of imagination, especially regarding the game modes. It all feels a bit too safe for my taste, even though there’s so much potential to do more.

I’ve been playing Just Dance for years, and honestly, you can really tell this one didn’t have a big budget. There are so many Ubisoft Originals or completely unknown songs this time, and it really hurts the variety. Compared to JD23 or JD24, this year’s tracklist just feels kind of weak and repetitive. The visuals and map quality are still good and they haven’t really changed much, which is fine. But the choreographies have gone back to being super casual again. I get that the more “professional” routines from a few years ago might’ve been too hard for some players, but now it feels a bit too basic. The new Party Mode sounded cool at first, and it is fun for a bit, but it gets boring pretty fast. It’s more of a quick gimmick than something you’ll keep coming back to. And it’s still frustrating that Ubisoft isn’t doing anything with live service or adding new features that would keep the game fresh. JD2026 is still fun to play for a while, but it feels like the series is just stuck in place at this point.

Just Dance 2026 is undoubtedly the worst game in the series by far. It's not that it's a bad game or anything, but it has many problems, and you can see the critical state Ubisoft is in when it comes to this game. A huge disappointment.
