Fortune's Weave is the right direction for Fire Emblem: the series' most mature and deepest story holding up an unprecedented freedom of play. One of the best entries and probably the most original.

Tamsoft has missed the chance to make the perfect Captain Tsubasa game. It has built a great game on the foundations of the first one, adding a deeper layer to its gameplay with plenty of smart choices. It's now more spectacular than ever, with direct arcade football that rewards every play. Don't expect tiki-taka, but do expect a more individual take on "jogo bonito". It carries over the same problems, Story mode has too many interruptions, and it's short on game modes.

Onimusha rises from the dead with a sublime combat system, a magnetic protagonist, memorable bosses, and top-notch atmosphere that doesn't shine quite as brightly beyond the katana. The Switch 2 port is outstanding.

Lies of P arrives on Switch 2 with an outstanding port that confirms Pinocchio’s soulslike as one of the genre’s best outside FromSoftware, offering a very complete edition that lets you enjoy the game anytime, anywhere.

The Jackbox Party Pack 11 is one of the most interesting entries in the series thanks to how much it experiments, though it’s not the best. Doominate and Cookie Haus stand out as its biggest successes, while the lack of localization into other languages feels like a step backwards compared to previous entries.

Orbitals is an audiovisual spectacle with unforgettable protagonists, but its repetitive gameplay and short length keep it far from co-op greatness.

FromSoftware’s portable miracle: despite a somewhat erratic frame rate, Elden Ring arrives on Switch 2 running well and becoming the most versatile and special version yet.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 in the version it always deserved: sharp, smooth, and enhanced with a few extras that round out the experience.

A one-of-a-kind multiplayer experience that wins you over the same way your friends do, held back only by performance that falls short on Switch 2.

Splatoon Raiders isn't the grand single-player campaign the series has been begging for, yet it hides the smoothest, most brilliant gameplay Nintendo has ever put together. Its looting loop is addictive and co-op rounds out an adventure only held back by a tangled difficulty system and modest long-term content.
