Homebody
Homebody is unnerving. The puzzles are difficult, and it’s extremely rewarding when you slowly chip away at them as you uncover the secrets of the house. Equally, it’s immersive — you’ll slowly morph into the player character’s shoes and feel her fear of isolation. The only trouble with Homebody is it eventually feels less and less like a horror game, as you’ll eventually realize that it’s not all that scary — and quite forgiving.
Homebody is a love letter to the Original PlayStation era of point-and-click survival horror. It has an interesting mystery, fun puzzles, engaging mechanics, and a fair hint system that kept me coming back! A hearty recommendation for fans of the genre!
Homebody is a good mix of survival horror and challenging puzzles set against a backdrop of psychological themes. While the time loop mechanic can lead to repetitive moments, the engaging storytelling and puzzles make up for any shortcomings. The game's retro graphics combined with well-executed sound design create an atmosphere. This is a good "retro-horror", which is interesting to play not only for fans of retro, but also for all lovers of horror or puzzles.

Game has amazing atmosphere and does a great job setting up a creepy vibe. However, the gameplay itself is a bit repetitive and the puzzles themselves were a bit too random at times.

Its unique but very boring. Some of the puzzles were ok, others were pretty cryptic and not given enough time to solve (also should add its really repetitive). Story is? I don't know, was not really interested in it, didn't hold enough interest in it to really care. I guess i can see why some people may like it, it's a unique type of horror game. But as for me, it didn't really hold my interest enough to play through nor was it scary in any way. It was just plain old boring and a waste of money and time.

Homebody to me is the definition **** with niche appeal. It's never going to find a very wide audience, but for those it's aimed at - hooo boy, it's going to tick quite a few boxes.

Homebody didn’t terrify me to my core, but I still found myself compelled to uncover its secrets, and it only takes a few hours to complete. The plot leaves key points up for interpretation, and as such, this is the sort of game that I’ll be digesting for quite some time. It’s not the same brand of horror as jump scares or gory deaths, but it’s unnerving all the same.
