There is nothing overtly wrong with Farmagia, yet somehow it doesn't captivate interest as much as other Marvelous farming titles. It has an intriguing story, a lot of tasks to focus on for progression in terms of attaining skills and expanding the farm, and a variety of characters to lead the party. However, unlike other agriculture themed series, the repetitive nature of farming creatures and romping in dungeons grows old fast. It feels like it is missing a spark, but if there is a sequel, hopefully it will find the excitement that all the other Marvelous farming titles possess that is absent here.

There’s a lot about Farmagia that I liked. I like a lot of these elements that are put together; the character design is great; some of the writing is funny and charming. It also ran very well on Switch, which is impressive given how many monsters could be on screen at one time. I enjoyed a lot of the writing with the elemental spirits, for example, and I think this is an incredibly solid concept. Ultimately, for having so many mechanics, all of them ended up feeling half-baked. Farmagia in a lot of ways feels like a first draft, and I’d love to see these mechanics pared down and refined in a future game. Farmagia needed a little bit longer to grow, and I hope another game can pay attention to this in the future.

Although I genuinely applaud its attempts to try something new, Farmagia doesn't quite stick the landing for me. In fact, beyond the initial novelty of the mechanics, both the farming and the combat components end up feeling intensely repetitive with little to keep interest outside of further monotony. Once you add to these points uninspired visual design choices and predictable story elements, the game becomes very difficult to recommend to anyone but die-hard farming sim fans. Even then, it isn’t bringing any fresh produce to the table.

(MY SCORE: 7/10) Action-Adventure RPG Game that is actually quite unique and exciting! Because there is an element of Farming here, which is unique in using seeds to give birth to Buddy monsters, such as plants. It's just that the missions and combat feel monotonous. In this game, located in Felicidad, we become a Farmagia named Ten, who is assigned by Nares and Mister Dentro at Avrion Castle to defeat Glaza, an evil Magus. Glaza replaces the previous Magus Diluculum who died. Glaza, who was once one of the General Magus called Oracion Seis, has a subordinate, Zanas, and is assisted by other Oracion Seis, namely L'oreille, Manas, Lisan, and Corpus! Only Nares is against it! Ten begins his adventure with Lookie-Loo, by exploring several areas, namely Avrion, Perfectus, Rahatluk, and Sonrisa. And in progress, Ten will be accompanied by other Farmagia, namely Arche, Leii, Chica, Emero, and Anzar. He fights monsters using his Monster buddies, whom he nurtures and breeds on the Farm and trains on The Ranch. After defeating the Oracion of Seis namely Manas, Corpus and Lisan. Ten finally fights Glaza who was betrayed by Zanas and L'oreille! The real figure of Zanas behind his mask was finally discovered by the Farmagians, namely Anzar! After defeating Glaza, they also had to face Anzar and L'oreille, until it was finally revealed that Anzar did not intend to betray them, he allied with Glaza and L'oreille to fight them with his own hands, in order to protect the other Farmagia! After Glaza and L'oreille are killed, Anzar joins the Farmagians to return to Avrion Castle, where Nares vows to become the New Magus, but the Magus Diluculum suddenly appears! The Magus desires to absorb Felicidad and the rest of the continent through the rituals of the Grand Harvest Festival, and he needs a lot of Magic energy to do so! He resurrected the dead Oracion Seis. And use Myosotises to absorb their souls (including Nares, except L'oreille) until they fall into "Lost" and they turn into Reapers! The Reapers invaded the entire area of Felicidad and attacked the Elemental Spirits until the area was filled with Red Fog! The Farmagia were assigned by Mister Dentro to defeat the Reapers! In addition, Arche dreams about Eleonora, who turns out to be Diluculum's lover and Dentro's friend when the three were still Angels! And Dentro finally admits that Felicidad is a world created by the three! But the sacrifice of Eleonora, who asked Diluculum to absorb her soul, in order to maintain life in Felicidad, when she was dying, made Diluculum forced to do it even with hurt feelings, and Diluculum turned into the evil Magus! He put his generals called Oracion Seis in charge of the entire Felicidad Area! But when resurrected, the Magus actually wants to destroy Felicidad by absorbing her! The Farmagians, Ten, Arche, Leii and Chica, defeat all the Reapers, including Nares, whose souls they are unable to save! He also played for L'oreille. And when they returned to Avrion Castle, they heard the news that Mister Dentro with Nero went to Cape Eleonora to fight the Magus Diluculum! Unfortunately, Mister Dentro was killed, but Emero managed to survive. Then came Anzar who was about to fight the Magus! He apparently absorbed the souls of the Reapers who were about to be sacrificed to the Sefirot for the purposes of performing the Grand Harvest Festival ritual! And Anzar had fallen into the "Lost" and turned into a Reaper! Although eventually, Ten with the help of Nares ' spirit managed to revive him and make Anzar return to human form! In the end, the Magus managed to do a Grand Harvest Festival that made Felicidad perish! However, Ten and the Farmagias did not give up, they fought the Magus Diluculum! Once the Magus Diluculum is defeated, Felicidad can be restored! Eleonor's spirit appears, and Awakens that the Magus ' task has been completed. The spirit of the Magus turned back into the Angel Diluculum, the spirit of Dentro appeared, turned back into youth, and went to follow them both. Felicidad is transformed into peace, the Farmagia are assigned to rule in each area, while Ten teams up with Anzar to research about monsters! Farmagia is an action adventure RPG where you reap what you sow…literally! Plant and grow creatures to accompany you on your quest to save the Underworld from a dishonorable monarch and his battalion of monsters. Farmagia’s unique approach to the genre may raise some eyebrows, but successfully creates a fun time with its interweaving gameplay components. Not only does the game’s anime style, challenging quests, and interesting story effortlessly garner attention, but the quality and quantity Farmagia is able to cultivate succeeds in making it a must play hit.

An awsome and origional experiance that exists in the veil of legendary series like rune factory. It has tons of cool stuff to leven and learn andcaddictive conbat that pulls you in to hit the next. Unfortunatly being an inovative and origional experiance it wont appeal to the majority that goon out to fortnigt and cod. Its also unfortunate that shill corperate media will ignore this gem as there is no access or uunder tge table funds for them to swindle

Farmagia offers a fun and solid experience for fans of the fantasy genre. With great art and entertaining dialogue, this game is the perfect fit for those longing for a magical adventure. Although it is not necessarily a great farming game, Farmagia works well as a bridge for players who might want to try a more action-oriented adventure. On the other hand, seasoned players of action RPG games might feel frustrated because of how simple combat is in Farmagia. Still, we believe the game's positive aspects make Farmagia a great example that, when done correctly, even the simple feels fantastic.

Farmagia is a very interesting concept with a lot of good ideas, great voice acting and an elaborate story. There is a lot to like, especially if you are a fan of tropey anime romps, but it has its fingers in too many pies, ending up feeling unfocused and not as polished as it could have been. There is definitely a very interesting game in Farmagia with lots of moving parts and a story that clearly had lots of effort put in, but it falls short in a few areas with disconnected farming mechanics and framerate issues. This is a shame because there is a lot of heart to be found within. Any big anime fans are likely to have a good time with the story and voice acting, but outside of that, there isn’t much to grab players.

Sadly, the charm of the writing doesn’t prevent Farmagia from feeling mediocre overall. It’s repetitive, disjointed and half-formed. If you want a game that better combines adventuring and farming, Marvelous already have an excellent alternative in the form of Rune Factory.

This game is TOPNOTCH!- Great anime graphics.- Sound & Music are FALCOM class, so you know what I mean, best of the best.- Story is great and interesting.- Villians with personality.- MC and allies with personality.- No dumb silent protagonist/MC (shaking his head all the time).- Battles are a little complex but really fun and great, once you get used to it you'll love it. There are so many things to do in battle.- Voice acting is Sublime, one of the best out there and fully voiced in English.- Performance is smooth. I have a digital copy on my Switch Lite system memory. What else could you ask from a game? Unfortunately this game with not be under the radar of many people.
