Fall of Light is a nice game with some huge problem that lead down the entire gameplay.
Fall of Light lies in the shadows, one step from that ray of light that could illuminate it.
Fall of Light is a strange mix between ICO and Dark Souls. The narrative plot works in a proper way, while the battle system is not as deep as it should have been, though it doesn't show big defects.

Just an amazing game with a huge dark atmosphera, of couse the game drinks a lot of dark souls but have his own personality, very good history and very challenging. Personally and for the price is a must have.

Just a horrible game. Don't play it anyway. No inventory. No growth except life. Wired combat feeling and no running. An annoying burden throughout the whole game with you.

This is a very rich and complex game, when I read it was developed by two people in less than one year I couldn’t believe it. The graphics looks cool and it was fun to play cause the combat system is quite amazing (to be honest, I died like a million times cause it’s quite challenging: you really got to learn your way around). I definitely enjoyed that there are many types of weapons and each one behaves differently. And it’s not all about fighting: you slow get to know the story of the characters and the world they’re in and it’s deep and very emotional. The end almost made me cry.. The influence of Dark Souls and Ico is evident but in the end Fall of Light is an entirely unique game. Definitely recommend it!!

Fall of Light is a good Souls-like, but it can differences himself from the usual dark fantasy games.

On paper the idea of blend together Dark Souls and ICO seems extremely interesting but the first game of RuneHeads falls flat in too many elements and a potential gem reveals itself only as a decent souls-like.

Obviously SanctumRevel has never unlock an Echo to say that "story-nonexistend bland dk souls copy". Please, play the game before write reviews. The story is all but "non-existent", and is intentionally setup as a "Soulesque lore-based narrative" to smash this thing as soon as you unlock your first Echo. Sure, the game as little flaws, but the developers seems responsive and open to feedback on steam forum. As 2 Dev project I think this game is just amazing, vast, intriguing and well executed. Indie team should learn that passion and competence brings amazing results!

This game is amazing. Really a gem among the indie games. But a huge but for now, it runs really bad. I got quite good of a computer, so should not be a problem, but huge frame-drops and sometimes 0.5-1 sec delay time. Makes an action game quite hard to play. The game was released yesterday, so there can come improvement in the future, if so this gem will get a sure 8-9 instead, but in its current state, it's almost unplayable.

sometimes more than often the attempt of mixing great known formula games into the mix , results in a catastrophe, while it shows promise at the first glance it just fails in all aspects that matter story-nonexistend bland dk souls copy, battle clunky not so responsive graphics ok the saying stick to your guns is a great example for this garbage **** beware of what you mix in the pot

It's like a Souls game without any of the charm or skill in presentation. The world looks like an early ps2 game with extra bloom. I tried it after seeing how 1.17 fixed the combat and I shudder to think how bad it was before because it still isn't good. With games like Monster Hunter and Dark Souls/Bloodborne under my belt I'm not exactly a stranger to combat that takes something more than just running in and swinging a giant sword. Even in the opening areas of Dark Souls and Bloodborne the enemy placement is very deliberate and serves a purpose, with the top down view the early enemies are just there. Kill them with one strong attack, winner is you, such high engagement.
