God of War 3 not only meets the extremely high expectations of its huge, testosterone fueled fan base; it exceeds them. Every moment, from the epic opening sequence, to the final trilogy ending confrontation, is a delight to play and a pleasure to behold.

God of War is back and better than ever before! It's a worthy end of a trilogy. A tear for the last fight from our favourite Spartan. Let there be more Kratos in the future!

God of War III is an epic game and a splendid conclusion to the series; its battles are fun, its bosses are huge and the task is entertaining. It is a title that all PlayStation 3 owners should own and is one of a number of impressive games recently released on the system.

God of War III is amazing and disturbing all at once.

The strength of the game's opening sequences and some of the bosses really stuck with me, but some of the later levels just felt kind of...bleh. As far as being the show-stopper that blows the rest of the series away, it falls short.

The best game I ever played. Sceneries are just artwork. This is not a game this is an art.

Прошёл god of war 3 2010 года на эмуляторе ps 3 rpcs3. GOW 3 считался одной из самых требовательных игр для эмуляции и ещё несколько лет назад считалось, что практически нереально будет заставить её работать нормально на эмуляторе. Однако игра отлично идёт даже на не очень современных компах, очень плавно, однако в паре мест встречал крайне неприятные баги эмулятора, но совсем не критично, хотя неприятно, графических багов практически нет. Сама игра чуть ли не самый известный эксклюзив третьей плойки, более того застрявший на ней, что делает эмуляцию ещё более значимой. Графика и дизайн конечно топ лютый, и музыка тащит. Сюжет тоже отличный на самом деле, концовка вытягивает. Более того, уровень насилия в игре нереальный, и это именно что фича. В иной игре такого масштаба на такую массовую аудиторию столько насилия встретить невозможно, тем более в современных соевых играх, GOW 3 же максимально маскулинный и базовый. Однако, геймплей такой же унылый пивной слэшер как и первые 2 части, абсолютная стагнация (хотя многие, по моим наблюдениям, предпочли бы это, нежели новые части GOW). Многие вспомнят Олега Ставицкого и его легендарную критику – ВСЁ ТАК И ЕСТЬ (геймплей на уровне battletoads на nes), видимо если хочешь нормального комплексного и разнообразного геймплея, то придётся идти играть в другую игру. В целом вещь легендарная, очень рад что удалось полноценно ознакомиться с игрой, но геймплей тянет её на дно - 7/10.

the game is similar to god of war 2 but with less annoying puzzles and 7th gen graphics and auto-save feature , the game play is exact same as god of war 1 and 2 and nothing improved , to me such gameplay is pretty boring specially when I compare it to other 7th gen era games , but after all game has good story line and good graphics and these are enough to play this game from start to finish.

Before I start I have to say that God of War and God of War 2 were and probably still are action games of their time. They had just the right mix of simplistic action thrown into a great setting. If God of War 3 would have came out in PS2 days instead of 2010 while I probably would be more likely to overlook glaring issues that are present in this game. The first and foremost of them is that apart from graphics the game has not evolved from previous titles and even may have been simplified further in GoW3. The combat itself feel very unresponsive when comparing it with other hack and slash games even not of AAA category like Conan, Sengoku Basara Samurai heroes and Afro Samurai. Not only is it unresponsive but its flow is constantly interrupted by quicklime connected to finishers, counter moves and all the bosses are littered with them instead just letting player fight bosses with weapons of their choice. Since this is a boss heavy title lets talk about bosses. Depending on the difficulty level you can just button mash through all of their attacks or on higher difficulty levels due to inability to cancel combos you can only do 1-2 hits and then wait for boss to do its thing and hope bad camera angle doesn't make you take a hit. Neither of the approaches is very fun. Apart from combat there is platforming and it is terribly executed with atrocious camera angles and jumping technique. This GoW game also lacks a story or interesting characters that in some way enhance the experience. To me it feels like this game was all about graphic and no substance.
