Dark Eclipse
If we can respect the will to propose something new, Dark Eclipse does not seem deep enough and satisfying enough to popularize the MOBA genre on PSVR, anyway, a kind of game not very suitable for virtual reality.
To fully exploit its potential, however, Dark Eclipse needs a close-knit community and constant support from developers, with the aim of changing the gaming offer and guaranteeing a quick matchmaking for online matches.
I also had some of the usual online play issues during my time with Dark Eclipse: Matchmaking sometimes took more than 3 minutes, and the occasional dropped session that ends a match prematurely. Such issues will hopefully be ironed out for Season 1. But for those who want to try another genre, or mashup to be more specific, and think they might like a slower game where players take their time to implement a strategy, than Dark Eclipse is worth a look.

Dark Eclipse is not that old at the moment but is growing quite fast. Patch 2.00 has added new heroes and balanced some old ones. To my great surprise and delight, I sent the developers an email regarding some suggestions and bug reports, most of which were addressed in the new patch. This shows they are extraordinarily responsive and responsible. I must confess that I had a few difficulties with effective playing and best strategies at first but the currently-not-so-large community were super helpful and explained things to me through friendly matches. I must say that many of my opponents are my good friends on PSN now. This is a great game worthy of all RTS or MOBA lovers' attention which is only in need of a larger player base. I feel this is happening quickly because my match-ups are taking fewer and fewer minutes and disconnection errors from the servers are but a rare happening these days. This is a free game to support which I will gladly pay some cash in the days to come.

It's a sleeper hit most people don't even know about. One of the best games on PSVR and to top it off, it's completely free. Out of 50 titles I paid money for (most i regret and/or don't play anymore) this title has me eager to put the VR headset on and takes up most of my gaming time now a day. I've easily put 100 hours in game, with no end in sight. If you like MOBA/RTS genre, and have been waiting for one to arrive to the virtual platform, look no further.

This game has actually surprised me. i downloaded it because it was free and didn't expect it would last long on my system. After the first game i wasn't really sold. it looked nice and the controls were fine but the game seemed very basic. Luckily for me (and the game) i had nothing better to do, so had another go. The second run i started figuring things out and making some good decisions. i beat the AI with so much ease that i was actually pretty pumped to have a quick bash against a real player. So, my 3rd game was online. i expected to walk over my opponent, be happy with my achievement and delete the game to make space on my system..... That however didn't happen. nor has it yet. i got so trampled that i immediately went for my 4th game out of rage... 5th and 6th game, same thing, however on my 6th game i mainly just watched what my opponent was up to. it was then that i realized that the game was by no means a simple one like i thought. I had my priorities completely wrong, i suddenly had so many strategies going round my head i actually started to really enjoy myself. your charters move slow and the game seems slow but in your head its another story, its the fast snappy well thought out decisions that keep a fine balance until you find that perfect time to strike. Needless to say, i haven't deleted the game. My main recommendation is to give the game a chance, you may be surprised like me. I'm looking forward to the future of the game, mainly hoping for new characters soon.

Dark Eclipse is inarguably difficult to learn, but once you are over that hump the game is simply spectacular. Just because you don’t understand everything right out of the gate doesn’t mean that deep and thoughtful design isn’t present. There is real depth of strategy here, and the fun visuals are just the icing on the cake. I’m hoping that the audience that has currently found Dark Eclipse sticks with it (and continues to grow), because this is a great game that deserves to thrive.

A good free-to-play MOBA for PS4 and a really good VR game.

Dark Eclipse is a fairly simple strategy game that is improved by being in VR and the free to play aspects aren't too problematic either. This is worth checking out if you want to do something different to the usual space/horror/turret-shooter games on PSVR.

The first MOBA game for the PSVR is quite the disappointment. The controls are awkward, the grinding nature of the gameplay is a chore and the overall result is a tedious game that only hardcore fans of MOBA games might appreciate.
