The gameplay is amazing, worth every penny, I think it's one of the best in the franchise.

bene ma non benissimo, un gioco che mostra il fianco a molti aspetti che hanno reso grande il 2 capitolo senza innovare o cambiare qualcosa riclicando molto che lo rende un titolo debole. 7.3/10

To play this game, I had to adjust some additional settings. They haven't even updated for the simplest problems. For example, we can't lower the mouse sensitivity below 10; the game wouldn't allow it. You need to download and use the Borderlands Sensitivity Changer for the Pre-Sequel from Nexus Mods. Another problem: Older games like Borderlands 2 and TPS reportedly receive the 0xc00007b error. This requires the following method: **** C:WindowsSystem32d3dx9_43.dllI had to delete these files and reinstall DirectX (using dxwebsetup). We played Borderlands 1 with great excitement when it first came out. It offered a new and interesting experience. We enjoyed Borderlands 2 immensely when it first came out. It improved everything from Borderlands 1. That's why we had high expectations when Borderlands The Pre-Sequel first came out. However, this game never quite lived up to its name. I tried the game many times from the beginning with different characters, but I just couldn't get into it and left early. Because Borderlands 4 came out, I wanted to replay the series from the beginning. However, even after all these years, this game still feels miserable. I understand they were trying to experiment with a different style of game. But the game was released with an excessive amount of fait accompli, and that's why they released it without adjusting the mechanics and difficulty balance. Flying in low atmosphere isn't fun at all. It forces you to move in extreme slow motion. And all the while, enemies around you are running from right to left, left to right, and firing at you. Moving so slowly was a very stupid decision from the developers, as even a single shot from enemies could instantly reset all your shields and health. Reloading weapons is equally slow, makes fighting enemies seem like torture test. Even worse, the enemies are like bullet sponges and your weapons run out of ammo in seconds. That's why I avoid fighting Kraggons. Killing a Kraggon requires a few rounds of ammunition: they don't die. When they die, two more Kraggons spawn. This time, you try to kill those Kraggons as well. Even much worse, Kraggons have something like a "rank" system. The higher a Kraggon is, the more you kill them, the more two lower-ranked Kraggons spawn. So, let's say three Lvl 3 Kraggon appear. You kill them. A total of six Lvl 2 Kraggons spawn from them. Killing these Kraggons also yields twelve Lvl 1 Kraggons (hatchlings). And you find yourself killing a total of 21 Kraggons. Considering that each Kraggon takes a lot of bullets to kill, even with different weapons, you might have used up all your ammo just to kill those three Lvl 3 Kraggons. Another problem with the game is the driving. If you don't set your game to 30 FPS, you won't be able to get over ramps that require jumping. In Unlimited FPS, the car moves slower than normal and falls down midway. They haven't even thought about fixing this. I don't know if it's worth putting up with all this nonsense for the sake of the relation with the Borderlands 2's story. I think it makes much more sense to just jump right into Borderlands 4 without bothering with it. While the storytelling may have strayed from Borderlands 1 and 2, they've at least managed to do a much better job of implementing the flying mechanics attempted in this game. 3: Terrible - It's a pointless game, even for a fan of this genre.

A tremendous regression in storytelling and a bland environment as your playground. The idea to feature the follow up to the franchises golden child on a moon sounds cool in theory, but in practice it showcases every tone of visual grey and emotional misery. None of the settings are memorable and all blend together mentally as a dull blur. The game opens fairly strong and teases some cool new plot setup - however, almost everything after the opening crawl falls flat with no payoff in the slightest. The saving grace of this game is that the gunplay and base mechanics are still extremely strong, copied from the previous iterations in the franchise. Some new enemies types are alright but most of what you're fighting are copied from Borderlands 2 already. Probably not even worth the once over - it's entirely forgettable other than the fact you remember it's entirely forgettable.

Trash game with crap gameplay, not sure about story because i played for almost 2 hours but being forced to use oxygen in order to play actual game in dumb space is crap. Gameplay overally is dull and UI is terrible. Game design is very poor and crap, enemies can respawn and spawning points are trash.

More Borderlands, it knows what it is and gives you more of that. Some nice little changes with the addition of the oxygen for boosting and ground pounds, as well as the loot grinder for trying to combine lower quality loot into better stuff. If you like the previous games, I think you will like this one as well, though I have no experience in the late game stuff in the series, so I can't speak to that. A couple of annoyances of lots of invisible level geometry that I frequently got stuck on, and some of the vehicle jumps that sometimes screw you and you'll fall to your death.

o jogo é extremamente bom, com uma historia bem envolvente , unico pecado do jogo em minha opinião é as missões secundarias serem meio chatas , além do upgrade da arma(sua ideia) ser pessima

Somehow, despite every mainline Borderlands game managing to captivate me upon release, the Pre-Sequel couldn't hold my attention for more than 30 minutes. Some of the mechanics I was introduced to in the starting area of the game, such as the oxygen/air mechanic, were just not enjoyable to deal with - beyond that, however, I felt that the Pre-Sequel suffers more from a lack of innovation, or much in the way of anything compelling, really. This felt like a dialed-back Borderlands 2, and I could not manage to keep playing it for very long as a result despite what seemed to be a solid foundation similar to that of Borderlands 1, 2, and 3. An overall disappointment.

Pretty much a straight downgrade from BL2. Dedicated farming was mostly removed, few weapons can be farmed especifically from someone, enviroments are worse, along the color pallete and variety of it. Story is still decent, but character are far worse, they seem like a budget form of the others and they are far less memorable. Gameplay remains largely the same as BL2 but with a few changes: OZ Kits have been introduced replacing relics and are overall worse. Mechanics itself there is low gravity, addition of a double jump which can make mobility interesting if it wasnt for how poorly designed the places are and slams exist but could be better. But not everything is worse ice is really satisfying and slag has been removed, UVHM is actually balanced (shame there is no real endgame) and they are probably the best vault hunters of the series (skill tree wise). By far the worst thing is the endgame, a loved aspect of the other games that here lacks, Grinder becomes a necesity rather than a nice extra tool. The DLC is amazing (claptastic voyage) solid story and profundizes claptrap and makes some thing have sense and introduces another rarity. Its still a decent game, and if you liked 2 its really likely you end up liking this, but its a shame how much wasted potential this game had

the game lacks polish compared to BL1, BL2, feels like a DLC game but it has some good moments. Specific main characters we've seen in BL1 and BL2 are explored well, and I wish we saw more of athena later in BL3. the oxygen mechanic is a hit/miss, a nuisance to me but if we still had hover in BL3 that would have been nice.

one of my favorites Borderlands games as I think what it brings to the table is fairly unique looking at the franchise as a whole however I do understand why some people do not like or even hate this game as its nothing outstanding and it came after that titan that is Borderlands 2. Overall I can recommend this game but if you are still a bit iffy about it then I'd say if you want to play it wait on a sale first and get some friends together, just make sure to bully whoever plays Claptrap.

After I played Borderlands 2, I got to play this immediately after. It was only a good time, because I was constantly trashtalking with a friend, besides that it is absurdly near at the game style as Borderlands 2. The game mechanics barely changed (there are few new things, like the weapon combinator or the ground slam mechanic) and the running around and killing everyone trope was done almost exactly like in B2. If you like Borderlands, you will like this.

Greetings fellow gamers! Today, I'm here to share my thoughts on "Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel," a game that, in my honest opinion, falls a tad short compared to its predecessors. Now, before we dive in, let me assure you that my quirky style and love for the franchise will remain intact throughout this review! Gameplay-wise, I couldn't shake the feeling that "The Pre-Sequel" resembled more of an expansion pack to "Borderlands 2" rather than a standalone installment. It brought back familiar gameplay mechanics and graphics, which aren't necessarily a bad thing, mind you. It's like how "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" complemented "Assassin's Creed 2" but with laser guns and a fresh set of characters. There were some additional features like lower gravity, which didn't quite tickle my fancy, but hey, tastes differ! Now, let's talk about performance. Things were running smoothly for me until I switched to an AMD 5600 XT graphics card, which should have been a solid choice for the game. However, Borderlands decided to give me a "poopy" experience (yes, I said it) and started acting up. If you encounter performance issues, I strongly suggest addressing them immediately, and if all else fails, don't hesitate to request a refund. It's a bit of a lottery with this title, unfortunately. Onto the brighter side, one of the shining stars of "The Pre-Sequel" was Handsome Jack - his character was exceptionally well-portrayed, and the jokes delivered some hearty chuckles. The storyline, though intermittently engaging, managed to keep me interested. I must say, Athena and Claptrap were the real showstoppers, adding that extra flair to the overall experience. And let's not forget the epic last boss battle! It hands down earned its spot as the best boss in the series so far (disregarding "Borderlands 3," which came after this title). All in all, "Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel" comes across as a decent prologue-like expansion to "Borderlands 2." If lady luck smiles upon you and it cooperates seamlessly with your PC, you might find some enjoyment here. However, being the dedicated fan that I am, I couldn't help but have higher expectations for this game. In conclusion, while "The Pre-Sequel" may not reach the soaring heights of its predecessors, it still has its moments of fun and charm. So, if you're a die-hard Borderlands enthusiast like me, you'll probably want to give it a shot. Just remember to cross your fingers for a smooth performance and enjoy the quirky adventure! Happy vault hunting, fellow gamers!

Way too many female characters. On top of that, all male characters that are somehow still in the game are either old and impotent, self-deprecating, or evil. The only thing you do in this game is serve women and kill men. Don't hate me or my review for sharing objective observation -- hate the developers for releasing such games. I got this anti-men propaganda at 85% off and even though I paid peanuts I still regret it. I know how I will be voting with my money in the future, 2K.

Way to short, just when we thought it was getting good (the last boss) finally after hours of slow tedious missions and boring story it was over. The loot is uninteresting compared to Bl2 and 3 the zones are annoying at best and given the option to turn off the low gravity i would hands down. Felt like a bad dlc.

In many aspects, this game feels like an extended piece of DLC for Borderlands 2 - but lacking in a lot of its charm and character, it mostly acts as a way to flesh out background characters and Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2, but after that game has already told its story, so it fails on that front - it's far too little - too late to make its existence as a game necessary. However, in a vacuum this game is just as good, if not better, than Borderlands 2 when it comes to the diversity of its mechanics and balance of its gameplay, which is impressive as my former opinion was that Borderlands 2 had a near perfect gameplay loop until you hit the OP levels, but as part of a franchise - it certainly did not stand out and was a low-point for quite some time until Borderlands 3's release reinvigorated the franchise. If you're into Borderlands you've probably already played this, but if you're coming off Borderlands 2 - this will forever live in its shadow.

This game is really boring. You must play every optianal mission, because to silly level system. Hardcore enemies, useless a lot of guns, silly loot system. If you have a 20.000$ and you die, you lost 2.000$. If you have 200$ and you die, you lost 20$. This is stupid. Gameplay usually walk to mission owner, take mission, die a lot of times, finally did mission, walk to mission owner and claimed useless weapons. Armored enemies kill you one shot, you kill armored enemies when you have out of ammo. Normal enemies powerfull than bosses. This game is for co-op, no single. Thank you epic games for the gift. I don’t pay this game.

The game is unbelievable boring. Well honestly every BL game and every loot shooter is boring, but pre-sequel is definitly worst one. Slow motion, low gravity, oxigen leaking, pointless characters what screaming "Hey gamer loot at me, i'm big talking sht". Devs just put every annoying thing in this game and said "It's funny game!". Hell no.

I fell in love with Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2. I was absolutely captivated by the cartoon graphics that add charm to the game. Borderlands The Pre-Sequel does this, but otherwise it doesn't add anything new and that's the whole minus of this game. The previous parts went to see progress, while here we have the same graphics as in the second. What worked remained. Weapons, controls, inventory and so on. All this very similar to the second part. But what was not so similar to the second part was optimization. I'll put it this way. The game ran fine all the time. Almost all the time. Here and there there were minor declines in FPS, which I don't understand, because that was not the case with the second one and the game looks the same. It was such a minor hate slap in the beginning, but now for the better side. But it's a fact that the developers have changed the environment and that's fine. Although it doesn't have my favorite desert from number one or number two, it still has the luxury of location. What I would highlight and at the same time easily rebuke is the story. As the name suggests, this is not another full-fledged part. The game focuses mainly on the character of Handsome Jack. It's not bad and I didn't even mind. I just want to warn you about what game you want to buy with the fact that you think you will get a continuation of the story in the style of previous games. Not that. This is for real fans, and in fact I would describe this game in general, as such a nice addition for fans of the Borderlands series, which I already have thanks to previous games and I enjoyed the game. So to sum it up. Borderlands The Pre-Sequel doesn't add much, but on the one hand it doesn't take away and let's say in the form of gameplay, the game is as beautiful as in the previous parts. I'd rather end it all with the words fans of the series get into it and normal players of the series are uninitiated or simply Borderlands fans don't prefer their hands off. In short, you have to decide for yourself if it is worth it. For me, a good game that I recommend, but really to those fans.

Pretty much everything is worse compared to Borderlands 2, it's still an ok game but it lacks a lot. Also it just comes across as amateur, the voice acting is poor most of the time. The world and the characters in it are less interesting, Even though a lot of the characters are in both games they just seem worse in this game.

The game itself is okay, the characters dialog is often funny, but the game play is tedious and very frustrating. Many of the quests that are timed or in difficult areas will require you to make numerous attempts to accomplish, while replaying the entire voice acting over again. What was sometimes funny becomes annoying after hearing it repeatedly. This, added with an an annoyingly slow movement of your character, makes playing become a marathon of patience versus reward, where the reward is usually another quest to test your patience. The setting is low gravity, but the method to play in it is not enjoyable. This is a simulation of playing a jump puzzle while wearing shoes that are slathered in oil. I forgot to mention that I have been dealing with numerous bugs and issues as well. I have been required to reset my game numerous times, because quests break and will not progress. For instance, race the kid, where the timer will not begin, but upon resetting the game, it works. Another example, drilling for ice, for the nurse, where the third ice to loot does not appear, until I reset and load in, to find it there on the ice. Another example, where the items dropping from creatures are not visible, until I reload, and can then loot the items. This has happened with nearly a dozen quests, and has become very frustrating. I also should mention that I am someone who does every quest. While the main story quests do appear to be fine, more than half of the side quests have been buggy and completely lacking any enjoyment. You can also tell that one person is voice acting many of these side quests, making me wonder if they were an after thought. It would explain the numerous problems. I cannot recommend this game, as it has numerous bugs that require constant resetting the game for quest items to be looted, mobs to appear, and other issues. I also cannot recommend this game due to the poor mechanics in playing the game, where player control is very poor, while requiring precision in tasks. This is a shame, because it does have a good main story, and character dialog, but it is wasted on this game.

Borderlands has always been a game that takes qualities of other games or movies and integrates them into it's own style, presequel however, is just copy and paste with no nuance, the low gravity is interesting but really idiotic in many places, you can fall to your death in an environment which should be zero gravity, utterly ridiculous. Everything good about this game is leftovers from BL2 (which wasn't as good as BL1 tbh)

It is a fun little spin-off of Borderlands 2 which acts as a backstory for the events of Borderlands 2 itself. There is not much to this game really, the gameplay is as good and addicting as Borderlands 2, the story isn't as good as Borderlands 2 though there are still some good moments to be experienced and some interesting characters to meet. Overall this game is a pretty fun game to complete.

Personally, the story's pretty good in my eyes. It has its funny moments. The gameplay itself is also unique in a positive sense. The only thing I didn't like were the many sidequests. Some of them were very repetitive. I'm also bummed that they scrapped many of the season pass. I'm glad I didn't buy it seen the cost in comperison to the content.

+ Like previous borderlands sensational visuals. + Good music. + Very good and various weapons at disposal. ++ Wonderful world design. +/- Somewhat good, somewhat repetetive level design. +/- Okay and sometimes funny characters. - Meh loot. - The difficulty for single player seems off. Very often I met regular soldiers dealing me damage equal to full or almost full of my health. - Sometimes problems with saving the progress. - Boss fights are mostly boring. – Quests are extremely tedious and sometimes way too grindy and hollow. Nonetheless it's a good game and worth a shot, I believe especially it's much better playing with someone (I played solo).

Coming from Borderlands 2, The Pre-Sequel was rather disappointing. The low gravity movement (and the butt-stomping that came with it), and laser weapons were fun and refreshing, but the graphics and sounds were felt saturating. While the plot of Handsome Jack's descent was intriguing to learn about, how the story was paced was bad and made some points of a comparatively shorter game to its predecessors, feel flat out boring. I feel as though the character quality regressed in TPS, similar to that of the first Borderlands as they didn't have any nuances to them and the game didn't make you care about them too much even if it tried to. In addition, the endgame content compared to Borderlands 2 was poor and especially in terms of the doc with the exception of the Claptrap one. On balance, TPS was an alright game.
