Quantum Break is a fantastic story that plays out like a movie, with excellent game play and exceptional acting. The separations of gameplay with the motion picture type segments made for an enjoyable experience that made this game both unique and compelling. The graphics are superb. The capturing of the phenomenon of time fractures/stutters was done very well. The movement and interactions, as well as character models came of as realistic and immersive. The gameplay was smooth. I had no game breaking bugs, and only once had one issue, where I had to find a coward bad guy hiding, which was keeping me from progressing. Aside from that one moment, the entire game was smooth and essentially flawless. The controls were easy to learn. I had no trouble using the skills of Jack, and found the difficulty level progressed very nicely with the advancing skills. The story of Quantum Break is a captivating and well written adventure. I found myself compelled to not only finish the game, but to try different paths, to see the variable of outcomes that were included. The included collectibles in the game are worth finding, and add a lot of background to the story, which gave amazing depth. This video game did an exceptional accomplishment of written story, cinematic presentation, and video game experience combined. This is a game I recommend everyone to take the time to experience, and I hope that I can come across many more games like this in the future. A top notch experience that makes video gaming more entertaining on a whole new level.

This has been an interesting experience. While I did not completely dislike the game, I found the audio and visuals to be chaotic and overall ruining the experience. The story seems ambiguous, which could be due to the writers/developers not knowing what direction to take the story, or that they did not want to give away a possible sequel game yet to come. In short, Observer is definitely a niche game. The gameplay feels a bit rough around the edges, leaving much to be desired in clarity of what is expected of the player in utilizing the controls and their end goal. The inconsistent interaction with the surroundings leads to many moments of uncertainty, if something was no completed, or if you were wasting your time fiddling with the environment. For example, the tattoo shop has several items which are delightfully detailed and interacting with them accomplishes nothing, while the stereo and other computer is just background without any ability to interact with. The character interactions are lackluster. While it is good for a laugh at first, the door to door interactions become tedious. The linear quest input from the interactions often felt forced. When considering this is how they are talking to an identified police officer, it also comes off as a group of people who clearly have no respect nor fear of the law, or maybe they do not believe he is with the KPD. Either way, it felt like he was shrugged off at best, and at worst, disrespected completely. Perhaps that is how law enforcement is treated there, which if that is the case, then it was on point. I found the environment to be repetitive to a fault. This game reuses the same area and effects over and over, until you can remember every detail of the same wall/door/lock/laundry machine and so on. There is a very limited variation to the presentation of this game. Even the same tin can of food to be found over and over, opened exactly the same and to the same not completely open top each time. This was made painfully impossible to miss when going through certain sequences where the game has you going through some kind of brain sequence, which I would describe as a bad trip on drugs. The worst part of this game, for me, was the blandness of the main character. He could have been a speak'n'spell, and it would have come off about the same. I would describe him as a morbidly depressed and suicidal individual, who was just going through the motions of life. I do not recommend this game, due to the audio becoming headache inducing, visual being lackluster at best, and a complete lack of character development. The only positive was the ambiguous niche story, which could be explained in a single paragraph.

The game is fun, but does not run smoothly. My system has 64gb ram, 11gb GPU and running a new intel extreme processor, and the game still has issues the later into the game I get. Around cycle 350 to 500, the game becomes frustrating with taking up to a couple of minutes for the auto save function to perform its task, before the game will continue. It might appear that your game has crashed, but this is just how the game performs. This does not seem to be as reliant as system design as just the bottleneck in game design. The speed up process also become a bad choice with any more than 16 duplicates, as the game takes the same amount of time to go through its checklist to see who performs what task, regardless of speed selected to play. This means that playing accelerated gameplay will result in an increase duplicate idle time ratio comparatively. When racing the clock on anything, always run in the slowest/normal speed, else you can end up wasting time and failing to accomplish tasks by their deadlines. Be careful altering the priority settings, as this can essentially stun lock duplicates, making them do jitters instead of accomplishing anything. For some reason, if two tasks are equal in importance for a duplicate, they will sometimes (and often in later cycles) cycle between the two tasks, doing nothing but a two step shuffle between the first step towards each task, but no further. I found this especially problematic with tidy tasks between gathering ice and anything else. I had to set the resource box for the ice to a lower rating, so it would end up getting those last, which solved most of the two step shuffle issues. The game performs excellent for the first 200 or so cycles, and is very fun, but after that, it because a race to patience versus success. I find that I reset the game often, starting over, just because I am tired of the auto save feature making the game play tedious. I consider this a major game issue, and would rate the game far more favorably if they can fix this. As is, this is a fun game that I recommend, but expect your patience to be tested if you venture through many cycles, instead of rush to the finish line.

After nearly 200 hours of gameplay, I can say this is among the most enjoyable games that I have played. I am nowhere near finished playing either. The most notable in this game is the story. Cyberpunk 2077 feels more like a movie with a video game inside, when doing the main story. The brilliant writing, voice acting, soundtrack and more, makes this game among one of my all time favorite games. The options and branching of the story is also enjoyable, as well as background specific quests, that build depth to how the story fits the unique background and choices. For the obvious, the graphics are fantastic. The game looks amazing and the presentation and environment is very visually appealing. I can drive around the city and enjoy the presentation, or run around into the more narrow areas, and appreciate the many extremely detailed areas that this game has to offer. In all, the city keeps showing me new things that I have not yet seen. The controls are phenomenal, except when it comes to driving. This game definitely benefits from the controller when behind the wheel. I also feel that the melee combat is a bit lacking, and feels to be button mashing when all is said and done. However, the sneaking and firearms are extremely enjoyable. I enjoy doing missions without ever being detected, using the cyber skills and ranged weapons, or sneaking behind the enemy and putting them into a choke hold. Cyberpunk makes covert play very enjoyable. The driving on the keyboard is very lacking, as it is a balance of tapping and gauging how much or little your vehicle will steer. I am sure this will be altered or adjusted in time, but I am getting better at it. I find myself sometimes just unable to avoid slamming into the poor bystanders on the sidewalk, just staring in horror at my ping pong style of driving. My biggest complaint is how much of this highly detailed world seems to be locked and unavailable. So many doors are locked, but I take hope that the fact they show locked with an interaction is a sign this will not always be this way. I am also hopeful for more interactions with the environment, such as arcades. I spent many hours playing Gwent in Witcher 3, the arcade games in FO4, and so forth with the mini-games. My second complaint is the police, whom seem to be terrible annoying. Many times, I wish there was an option to turn them off, and is the only reason I am not playing on the hardest difficulty. There are times that I cross their view in narrow passages, and they attack me for simply passing by, such as the path up and down from the apartment of V. I am hopeful that this changes as well. My third complaint is the number of times that I skip dialogue, because I am trying to stand up. I play the game sneaking most of the missions, and find myself skipping initial conversations, needing to reload to see what I missed. Cyberpunk 2077 runs far smoother and with far less problems than my initial experience with FO4, but comes with its own unique issues. Regardless, this game is amazing and definitely worth the experience. Even with my complaints, this game is a 10/10 for me in value and enjoyment.

I recommend this game, as it is a fun change of pace from the typical first person shooter horror game, requiring a more patient and strategic style of play. The game itself is not long, but going for the insane difficulty play through will set you back some hours. While my first few attempts were ruined by game crashes, I found that the fourth time I reinstalled the game, it ran silky smooth. If you are having problems with crashing, maybe your solution will be as simple. I still don't know what was wrong with the prior, but in the end everything was without issue. This game can seem difficult in certain areas, but remember that timing is everything. There are a couple of times that you will be taking damage, so be patient and make use of hiding places. Some spots you may have to fail before you know what to do, but once you figure it out, it seems so obvious.

Outlast 2 is an entertaining thrill ride that is linear and easy to follow, granted you don't get turned around through a few doors or past some trees. After three complete play throughs and several back and forths to find collectibles that I missed, I can firmly recommend this adventure. If you liked Silent Hill, Resident Evil, FEAR or other similar games, I believe you will enjoy this game. However, in Outlast 2, you have no weapons. You have to run, hide, or die. Enjoy! In comparing as a sequel, it seems inappropriate. Outlast 2 has a very different feel than the first Outlast release. The sense of urgency isn't quite the same, leaving me wondering why is he not more panicked, considering his predicament. I understood what was going on relatively quickly, but the story was still well told. The protagonist seemed relaxed and more like a curious detective at times, while other times it felt perfectly preformed. Outlast 2 pulls you in most of the time and you can enjoy the sensation it brings, but I do feel like Outlast 1 was more immersive.

I enjoyed Prey very much. It didn't hurt that it was the same name of my favorite novel, written by Michael Crichton. There are a great many similarities between the two as well, while still very foreign from one another. Prey had some very excellent aspects of the game, but I still felt that something was missing, though I still cannot put my finger on it. Regardless, I consider this a must play for a unique gameplay with an excellent story. While several of the achievements are based on replay, I found myself feeling forced to push through the second and third, and the fourth time was almost painful. While I thoroughly enjoyed the game to start, I found that it was taxing to play again back to back. I would say that this is like a movie you would not want to miss and very glad you watched in the theater, most likely even buy it and own in your personal collection. However, you would most likely never watch it again.

Injustice 2 took what was enjoyable and well done from the first of the series, and improved upon it. The animations are fantastic, story exceptional, and the banter between the heroes top notch. I am enjoying Multiverse games and the alternate endings in the character stories. I have done 4 of the additional characters and 6 of the original characters so far, so even with the time that I have played so far, I am far from done with the additional content. While the pvp is a key component to this game, I find myself inclined to just play the computer. Maybe it is my older age, but I don't enjoy pvp as much as I did when I was younger. If you enjoy pvp, you will likely enjoy this game even more than I did.

The story is good, though predictable. I felt that the first half of the game served as a lengthy introduction, but after that the game became more interesting and felt more involved. I feel like the story could have had more meat in the beginning, or if it was supposed to be a mystery what happened, it was better at hiding it until later to be a surprise. As is, I felt the first parts of the game was one lengthy part mostly reiterating the same thing. I also had a love/hate relationship with the protagonist. I wanted to kick him a few times. The personalities of most characters involved were interesting and enjoyable to follow. I especially liked Catherine's mentality. I found Simon got on my nerves with his selfish and tantrum behavior. His emotional outbursts really put me off liking him completely. I would have liked if they put an option to how the protagonist responded to things. To get the most out of this game, I recommend exploring as much as you can, as the stories of the others, and the details put into their characters is very enjoyable. If you blitz through the game, you will only have the protagonist and a small part of Catherine's story, and you will miss out on what makes this game so well made and fun. As for the WAU, wow, that is a great idea. I would linger around certain areas to better see the creatures, but that also led to quite a few deaths that could have been avoided. The detail in their creation is quite remarkable.

The entire look of this game is sloppy, with many obvious flaws and poorly designed effects. The game play controls are everywhere, and come off as nonsensicle. Closing the map is the number 1, for instance. Why would you randomly choose the number 1 on your keyboard to close the map? You would have never known this game was made by a major gaming company, as it feels and looks more like a low budget indie game that was never completed. The character control is off-putting, with uneven movement. The aiming and viewing with your mouse moves in an uneven as well as sluggish presentation. When you use your grappling hook, you feel a lack of control compared to previous games. The aiming is not precise, and you will sometimes be hitting above, below, left or right of your cursor (center). The parachute and glider seems to be well executed, but everything else is completely unrefined and sloppy is the best way I can describe it. This game is a devastatingly sloppy mess. motion and animations show horrible collision issues, while the collision of surfaces in this game dwindle any possible realism out the window completely. Bump a barrel and it could tip over or fly several hundred feet. The same in bumping a large blown up vehicle. The cinematics look horrendous and unfinished, showing that there was no effort in presentation. After just recently finishing Just Cause 2 and Just Cause 3, I am sure it was a completely different group of people who made Just Cause 4, as this is so poorly made. This game does not even come close to the level of the previous games in even the quality of game play, smoothness of controls, collision and animation. The voice acting shows a lack of feeling, almost like just going through the motions. There is an obvious divide in some of the lines, where it is almost an awkward pause. The script seems to have been read disjointed, leaving little for the voice actors to work together in building the immersion to the situation by sound. The level of emotion in the characters voices is the same, regardless if they are in a life and death combat situation or just sitting and chatting in a calm environment. The game performance has stuttering, which makes no sense. The game will perform fine for a time, then it will randomly stutter, then work fine once again. The very first mission with Louis is a complete fiasco. The truck for some reason keeps exploding for no reason. I tried reattempting, and it seems to be unavoidable. Being this is a story mission in the very early game, this is a clear game breaking bug. In short, this game should be considered an embarrassment to a company at this level for published such a mess, and I am surprised that it has remained such a mess after this long, unless they just cut their losses and moved on. This game is not worth playing in its current state, and is among the worst games I have ever played from a major gaming company. I would expect a game this poorly made on the level of a failed indie game that was never finished. After playing the game for another twelve plus hours, I dislike the game even more. The controls on the flying wing suit are not as good as Just Cause 3. The random vegetation gets in the way with the challenges, which are lackluster. The story is abysmal and filled with politically correct references, instead of anything meaningful. The game characters essentially berates Rico, while then treating him like a boy toy for a loud mouth annoying character that cheapens any value of the Rico and his missions. The writers clearly had an agenda and gave it more importance than making a good game. I will not be investing in Just Cause 5, as I find this to be a sign of a company losing the plot and not trustworthy for quality products.

The words to describe the game are all too repetitive at this point. To put it simply, this is a great game to experience. The game is focused on the dark and melancholy, but there is dark humor to be found as well. While certain achievements can become a bit tedious to acquire, playing without caring about achievements is the best way to experience this game. Make sure that you read all of the notes that you pass to be able to enjoy the story to the fullest, as this is a story driven game with options based on you understanding what is happening up to that point. This is not a mindless go get 'em game, which makes this well worth the value of the game and more in my opinion.

While the game is leaps and bounds better than the previous XCOM, I would be amiss to not recommend that you play the previous XCOM to get the full amount of enjoyment out of this game, as well as back story. The previous XCOM was badly designed around RNG, but this game has fixed much of that, allowing for strategy to be stronger than the ridiculous RNG missed shots. There is still times that you will miss that 99 percent success shot, but it isn't game breaking as it was in XCOM Enemy Within. The game is also far more inclusive to the tempo that you take the game, as opposed to feeling rushed in every sense of the way. The layout of the base is not make or break based on the layout that RNG gave you at the start as well. This makes it less stressful in starting the game, and wondering where a steam vent is, or if you can get that Sat link without the Steam Vent being in the way. The engineers and scientists are far more interesting and fun. I wish there was more we could do with them, but they are vastly better than just getting a number higher. In short, I enjoyed XCOM 2 vastly more than XCOM EU and EW. I definitely recommend this game, though wait to get the DLC/Expansions until they are on sale. They are quite overpriced currently.

I have completed the game once now, and I am definitely going to have to go through it again, and see if I can find the things that I missed. The story is not excessively deep, but is very interesting. You have to question your objective. Which path is the objective? While I know now, I will not spoil it for anyone. Fantastic!

The graphics and controls are fluid and user friendly. As you explore your world, you cannot help but notice that the design is very well done, and I have not experienced any issues or bugs as of yet. I am thoroughly enjoying this game. Normally, I like to finish/win a game before I write a review, but 100+ hours already, and I show no signs of slowing down. War never changes, but neither does my enjoyment of the Fallout game series. Here are some points of the game as I see it. -This game has a very enjoyable storyline, side stories and everything we already know about Fallout games, as well as an interesting romance delivery, though not anything to write home about, aside from the enjoyment to get to know your companions. They are all enjoyable. You can easily get lost in side stories and find yourself forgetting where you left off on the main story, by choice. -The radio seems annoying at first, but gets better as you go. However, the companions are a huge step up, more involved, more interesting, and I already liked the previous. Each companion is worth taking around for a time, just to enjoy their personally stories and comments, so, do not linger on one companion for too long. -The crafting system in this game is very simple, and yet, it has tedious complexities. You have many options, but holding onto old mods for the next weapon has yet to prove useful. -This is the first Fallout that introduces settlements, and despite the issues, I enjoy it very much. You can setup turrets, alarms, traps, and even arm and armor your settlers. This part of the game is completely optional, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. With so many positive things of the game, it is important to know the negative too. -Save often. I run on a beast of a pc. As such, I have very limited issues, from what I have read of some others experiencing. However, I have crashed twice, both times losing anything done from the last manual save. The auto save seems to be lost, or so it was on mine. I only lost about 10 minutes, as I save about every 15 minutes or sooner. -Settlement building can being very frustrating at first, but with patience it is not so bad. It really depends on how much time you want to sink into it. I have seen many that go crazy and create cities instead, and I have seen some that just make a shack. I am in the middle somewhere, though I might find myself expanding on the settlement later. Myth busting negative reviews and comments that I have seen. -Stealth is not broken. I have seen one even post a video to prove it, and he was crouched but still running, not walking. Without points put into your skill for that, running crouched is easily detected. I use this often to get them to come around the corner and pop them off into a trap, or wander into my mines. Stealth works great when you use it properly. -Items will not stay where you put them. Not sure if this was fixed in a patch or not, but as long as you place the items, junk or trophies, while in settler building mode (hold down 'V' to enter this) then those items do not fall through the floor or get lost. If you do not use this method, it is a mess. -You need a lot of power to use a lot of lights. This is one a friend told me and showed me a guide on. You do not need anything more than access to power to power anything that does not have a number next to the lightning bolt. If it requires and uses your max limit of power from your generators in your settlements, then it will have a number showing how much it will consume to be active. -The game is too easy. Put the game on a much harder difficulty, play survival mode, do not cheat. I haven't found the game overly easy by any means. Overall, this game is definitely worth the price, and I do recommend the season pass, however, getting it on sale is of course the best of choices.

Civilization V is a very addictively fun strategy game. The fun historical facts thrown in, along with the personalities that have related bonuses for having that said leader make this game more challenging and increases the replayability. Having it on random is not nearly as fun, as you do not get to line up the bonuses with the map that you will play, but it does add to the difficulty, if you, for instance, get Queen Elizabeth I on a map that isn't good for naval combat, which is her biggest bonuses. The fun with Civilization V that keeps me coming back, is it is fun to build, fun to be diplomatic, though the computer controlled players are very unpredictable and will hate you no matter what in the end. For instance, I was in a position of being friends with a map of 15 other civilizations, when just after declaring our friendship, 3 declared war on me. I took their lands and that set me to dominating the map, so I cannot complain too much. I ended up winning through culture in that match, which brings up another thing that absolutely love about this game. Victory is not any one thing. You can win by being diplomatic and convincing other civilizations to vote you as world leader; you can win by decimating your foes and taking their starting capitals (or all cities if changed in the options); you can win what I find as the easiest way to win, via the culture victory; and you can win via science, and launching a space shuttle into space, leading to the next game which I will be playing soon. The combat is also fun to watch, and after playing for quite some time, and when you are going for a faster match, you can turn off the combat animations and have it instantly display the health changed and results. While you have the animations on, however, you can see each troop do their own specific type of attack or defense. The naval combat is my favorite thing to focus on, as having a good naval fleet is very powerful in this game. There is nothing like having an aircraft carrier, a couple of missile cruisers and a couple of nuclear submarines loaded along the shore of your next target. It takes a little bit to get built up that powerful, so you have to be diplomatic to start, especially if you try to hold off making too many troops up to that point. If you do not like naval combat and prefer ground troups, you will love the giant death robots, which obliterate their enemies. Strategy of using them is important, as you can easily lose your strongest troops if you do not plan your attacks well. The maps you choose also make a huge impact on the flow of the game, and your play style within it. Whether you are militaristic, diplomatic, scientific, or a builder of culture, religion and/or trade, this game has a path for you to take for victory. I definitely recommend Civilization V for strategy gamers, and all gamers who might be on the fence. I personally am not impressed with Civilization VI, and will be enjoying this game a while longer, until Civilization VII finds its way about.

Having beaten this game, and all of the DLC, I can strongly say that this is among the best written game series that I have ever played. The characters are well developed, the score very well done and placed, the dialog very well written, and the ending exceedingly perfect. You are missing out on a lot of the story, if you do not play the two Burial at Sea additions. The not being able to save bothered me at first, but I found that it actually helped to keep me from forgetting important immersion points, from how it begins each chapter. The method is actually an improvement, in my opinion, as opposed to the save anywhere option. The challenging difficulty was fantastic. I had immense trouble at some points, making it require actually strategy, instead of just banging your head against a wall until you get through. While that might work at times, and the Clash in the Clouds addition does feel like that, this game benefits the person who uses a methodical approach, rather than guns blazing. I have read some have become of sudden experts on quantum physics, and they dismiss the ending of the main game. From Doctor Who, Star Trek, Time Machine and many other movies who have done such ideas of paradoxes, there is no straight answer to how it could or could not work. I did feel a bit at odds with the ending, despite it being very well done from its own individual point, but having playing Burial at Sea 1 and 2, I can now say the writers of this game, and the additional content, are simply amazing. While I hear rumors of a fourth addition to the Bioshock series, and I hope that it does come to fruition, this series could end respectfully here. In short, this is a must play game, if nothing else, for the story. You will need to have played the first Bioshock to get the fullness of the story, though Bioshock 2 is just filler, it is a worthy part of the series as well, if you enjoyed the first and third part of the series.

Everything about Borderlands 2 and all of the DLC was epic until this. The dialog was lackluster, the villain redonkulous, many characters no longer remained in their original character, and quests felt like errand boy quests much of the time. I also acquired more legendary and pearl blue drops in this short dlc than the entire game and other dlc combined. I do not know why this DLC feels so removed from the rest of the game, but it does not have the same experience. I could go on, but the game came out many years ago, and I am sure the point is moot. Just remember to not judge the rest of the game on this DLC, the only bad part of all Borderlands 2.

The game itself is okay, the characters dialog is often funny, but the game play is tedious and very frustrating. Many of the quests that are timed or in difficult areas will require you to make numerous attempts to accomplish, while replaying the entire voice acting over again. What was sometimes funny becomes annoying after hearing it repeatedly. This, added with an an annoyingly slow movement of your character, makes playing become a marathon of patience versus reward, where the reward is usually another quest to test your patience. The setting is low gravity, but the method to play in it is not enjoyable. This is a simulation of playing a jump puzzle while wearing shoes that are slathered in oil. I forgot to mention that I have been dealing with numerous bugs and issues as well. I have been required to reset my game numerous times, because quests break and will not progress. For instance, race the kid, where the timer will not begin, but upon resetting the game, it works. Another example, drilling for ice, for the nurse, where the third ice to loot does not appear, until I reset and load in, to find it there on the ice. Another example, where the items dropping from creatures are not visible, until I reload, and can then loot the items. This has happened with nearly a dozen quests, and has become very frustrating. I also should mention that I am someone who does every quest. While the main story quests do appear to be fine, more than half of the side quests have been buggy and completely lacking any enjoyment. You can also tell that one person is voice acting many of these side quests, making me wonder if they were an after thought. It would explain the numerous problems. I cannot recommend this game, as it has numerous bugs that require constant resetting the game for quest items to be looted, mobs to appear, and other issues. I also cannot recommend this game due to the poor mechanics in playing the game, where player control is very poor, while requiring precision in tasks. This is a shame, because it does have a good main story, and character dialog, but it is wasted on this game.

This game has aged well, providing a fantastic Batman experience. The story is excellent, the graphics look good even for 2020, and the player control is phenomenal. I did experience a few crashes, odd freezing and other problems, but only a handful of times throughout my play experience. If I were to rate the game on the extra content alone, not the main story, I would say this is still a game worth adding your your library. Very enjoyable experience.

First, you should know this game is riddled with bugs. Pun intended. Some of these bugs are game breaking and require a fresh start after 20 hours or more in a session. Some are tedious invisible objectives that take walking around until you find the place to click. That said, I still recommend this game, because it is among the best stories and voice acting you will find in a game. The game play is very enjoyable, and among the most enjoyable as well, in my opinion. The combat is very smooth and fun. The graphics are still on par with games in 2020. The detective method in this game is absolutely fantastic. I would rarely consider a game with game breaking bugs worth recommending, but this game is an absolute joy and worth it for the story and/or game play alone.

This is an excellent addition to the Arkham series, and my favorite, having playing Origins and Asylum so far. All three of these games are well done, with an excellent story. It is always good to see they put so much detail into the background of each major personality from the Batman comics. Being able to play as Catwoman and Robin is a big plus. Both had unique and enjoyable styles of play. For DC or just Batman fans, these games are perfect. For those that just want to enjoy a well made game, this is also an excellent game for you. I recommend you start with Origins, then play Asylum, and after that, enjoy Arkham City.

Beyond Earth is a well made game. I had no technical issues, having the graphics at their maximum settings. I do feel that the UI (User Interface) is incredibly difficult to read. There were times that I would have to pull up information on my second monitor, to be able to read all of the information that was too small to read on an 85 inch display in 4k resolution. However, once you have learned the game and understand what everything is, this is not something to worry about. I can recommend this game for those that like turn based strategy games. I prefer the classic style of Civilization on Earth, but this game was very well made and a fun twist to that concept.

Fun and challenging game of survival and control. Racing against time before the people you are to protect die from the cold or turn against you from fear. This is a fun strategy and planning game, without too much micromanaging. The random events add to the fun, and there are several variations in which you can explore this long winter survival. The third DLC will be released soon, which I will be enjoying once it does. I recommend this game for those that enjoy city building strategy games, and those that enjoy end of the world scenarios. The game is as short or as long as you wish to play.

Fun game from the past that still outshines most new games in all areas except graphics. Baldur's Gate II is a brilliant game, and still profoundly fun today. I was able to find some of my old offline play saves, which made an enjoyable experience even more so. The game has very few bugs, has an entertaining and in depth story, variety of characters and dialog that makes repeated playthroughs fun and engaging, numerous dungeons and dragons. The enhanced edition made some questionable additions, but we set it right by staying true to the character's persona. In all, I was able to enjoy killing Hexxat 7 times, and did not realize she was an attempt of a party member addition until the quest would not display finished. "Look's like the Cloak of Dragomir is OldManGamer's now." Vampire kills woman pleading for her life in front of you and then says how you will make a great team. 10/10 would kill Hexxat again.

This game is very humorous, and I believe it is unintentionally so. The grammar on many of the items in the game is incorrect. Just as well, the pictures on the walls are not what the descriptions say. I am also enjoying the Final Fantasy undertones shine through in the design of the villain and his mutated army. My favorite picture so far is the focused on his studies description while being very close with a woman in the photo. My favorite wording so far is the "Caution: but fire"

This game is a great memory for me. In playing the game again, I find the memory of it was far more detailed than the game itself that I had played when it had first come out. I also miss the real video camera action that was in the original, that has been made into a CGI cut scene. That said, this game is still highly recommended, despite being dated and no where near as much a psychological horror that it was when it first came out. Perhaps I am just desensitized to it all now, with years of real world experience and video games alike.

I have completed 2 playthroughs and nearly done with a third so far, and am still enjoying it like I just started. I am doing a complete run of all the Resident Evil games and as much as I enjoyed the ones leading to this addition to the series, I am thoroughly enjoying RE2 even more. The graphics are exceptional, controls with well enough precision, story compelling, fun additional content, a good assortment of weapons, and zombie butt kicking that measures off the charts with fun. This game has a great deal of replay value, with content and variations that only playing again can you visit and experience. The story continues to expand with each playthrough, up to two runs for each Lean and Claire. Once I completed my play through of all the RE games released, I might find myself back at this one for some zombie crushing fun. The character hopping in mid-story is very enjoyable. The extra segment characters (little girl with Claire and woman with Leon) have skills and play style requirements unique to them, and enjoyably implemented. It took me 3 tries to get the additional achievement for the women, but only 2 for the little girl, apart from the one acquired for completing their segment. Even still, I did them both an extra time after for good measure. I have yet to get a grade of S+, but getting S is relatively easy. The controls are worlds better than RE Zero and RE Original, which is to be expected by the basis of their release. Even so, I find myself enjoying being able to aim and move with a much greater degree of control. The characters animations in these actions are also brilliantly done. In all, Resident Evil 2 is a superb game, and I highly recommend it. The gore factor might put off the squeamish, but it will delight the zombie slayer in you.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game, but I am also met with a few disappointments. My experience so far is just one playthrough, though a very involved one. My first playthrough consisted of eight hours and fifty four minutes. My clear time was one hour and thirty nine minutes. I was hoping to get an S rating, but saved too many times, eleven times in all. I would play an area, and once I knew it well, I would go back and zip through it. Now that I understand the game better, I will easily get that S rating, but now I get to try it out on a harder level. The game graphics are stellar. The gameplay itself is phenomenal. The story is engaging, and I even had a few 'come on man' out load moments at what was happening, but all in a good way. The hidden moral for those that catch it, excellent. Overall, my opinion is that this game is a must play, for Resident Evil and horror/action gamers alike. However, I am disappointed about a couple of things. The game is about half or even a third of that from Resident Evil 2. There is not additional content, which is not an issue except for the lack of length in the main game. The most crucial aspect that I enjoy most about Resident Evil is the puzzles, but this game has only two. The lickers are barely a thing in this game, and the diversity in enemies is noticeably limited. You have few repetitious zombie models, a new hunter (kind of), and the Nemesis in various forms. To get everything unlocked, as I did in Resident Evil 2, I will have to continually play the only game mode option provided, which is the story mode. Resident Evil 2 had a lot of bonus modes which were my gateway to finishing many of those in game achievements not displayed by steam. This in itself is not a bad thing, but when I am going to strive for the number of zombies killed, I feel this will become a tedious grind of reloading a save point to accomplish. To be honest, I am not sure I will do this, if it is too large a number of slaying needed after another playthrough or two.

I am on the fence about this game. When this game first came out, it was 5 stars, ten out of ten, the best and a must play. I spent a lot of time fumbling with controls, feeling like I was micromanaging the movement and skills of Leon, and playing Tetris with the inventory. I also was thinking of stating the superfluous amount of ammunition that I was finding in my first playthrough was a bit much, when I found that you use everything and more in the 'Professional' difficulty. Leon is apparently sponsoring Nerf in this mode of the game. I am not a fan of Ada, but I see how many are. I found Claire to be the stronger of the two in Resident Evil 2, where Ada was just a flirt and a tease that would scamper about, and Claire was more about getting it done and facing whatever odds that came before her. That and I would like an explanation of how Ada survived, which seems to not be in this. In fact, a lot of loose ends are throughout Resident Evil 4 about Ada and Leon, but I think that they are attempting to make Ada mysterious. While this game was the pinnacle of gaming excellence when it first came out, in my opinion of course, it has not aged well is the best way that I can describe it. This game is still a must play for those that want to enjoy the full lore of Resident evil, and it is good to get Leon back in the saddle, However, this game is tedious and might try your patience, even with the assistance of mods for the controls. On a side note, oh how I miss Claire. Maybe she is caring for the little girl.

Probably due to my age, and not being as fast as I was in my youth, this game is very difficult to play stock. I ended up downloading multiple mods and altering a few additional things as well, and this game became immensely fun. This is a fun action game, with many uncomfortable control configurations for me. I do not like the random hit a key or die parts of the game that come up frequently, nor do I care for the instant super boss, which is not quite like the classic Resident Evil. The boss fights, villains and foes were all well done, just nonsensical. I just kept laughing and thinking, matter is neither created nor destroyed, unless you have a virus apparently. In all, this is a very fun action game with a decent Resident Evil story hidden inside. I thoroughly enjoyed them game, with the assistance of some mods, which alleviated the awkward controls, limited field of view, and the hit this key or die now parts. With the Resident Evil remakes occurring, and Resident Evil 4 on the table for its new release next year, I am looking forward to seeing what they do to Resident Evil 5. Everything is there to be a game of the year, but it just needs more Resident Evil within.

Just Cause 2 is a great gaming experience. This is a true open world experience, with many freedoms in the game play. Flying and driving were well done, and the story was funny a good break from some of my other games. The game can be mindless fun to quite a test on your skills, depending on your difficulty settings, though was not a truly taxing challenge. The challenges were the hardest part for me, but watching guides on it made it far easier. While this game has been a great experience, I had an internet outage during my gameplay, and glad that this game worked without being connected for many hours. This is a concern that I have about Just Cause 3, from what I have been reading. I will soon find out if this will be an issue.

Rico saves the day once again. The game excels in sandbox style fun. I did not care much for the Mary Sue character, but all of the other characters were fantastic. Dimah is my favorite, but the game did very well on nearly every personality. The voice acting was well done as well. The gameplay is very fun, and when you finish the DLC, it becomes exceptionally easy. The new jetpack/glider has weaponary and speed, making travel and combat a whole new experience. The only snag is the slow turning, but if you plan your areal attacks well, it does not matter much. The weapons are fun to experiment with, and I found myself not as interested in the FOW type weapons, though they are fun as well. This game is definitely worth the time invested, and I can see myself revisiting this game later, to do it all over again. The Mario and Dimah dialog will be worth it alone.

This is the fourth and worst of the Batman Arkham series. The graphics are superb, voice acting very well done, and controls very responsive. However, the gameplay is bland and repetitive. The puzzles are vehicle races, with boring mechanics that are also repetitive. The few puzzles that are not races are dumbed down. This is a mindless racing and combat game, with a horrible story thrown in. I do not recommend this game as a Batman game, but if you want an easy and repetitive combat game that makes you feel good about yourself as an easy win, this game is for you. The only challenge is your patience to not download a mod to speed up your vehicle, so you can finish the game more quickly and see what you expected from the very beginning play out. The game telegraphs the ending from the very beginning. Perhaps the game should have just settled on being a car combat game, like Twisted Metal, instead of trying to force itself into the Arkham series, which failed completely.

Agents of Mayhem is one of the most underrated games that I have ever played. The game reminds me a lot of Borderlands in the visual aspect. The loot chests and hidden shards make exploration of the open world more fun. The variety of characters, their unique skills and animations, and backstories with personal origin quests/stories are brilliantly done. The only complaint that I will have at the end of this, is that there is not more. This is a brilliantly executed game, with nearly no issues at all. The story has a very comic book feel to it, which is enjoyable and humorous. The villain is very villainous, while the heroes are almost anti-heroes. The game also builds groundwork for many things to be expanded on, like the backstories of almost all of the heroes have cliffhangers, as if more was going to come out on it. I suppose that the bad reception canceled that, sadly. I would have liked to see the direction this would have gone. The game has a lot to offer for an initial playthrough, but as you complete everything, it becomes redundant. If the game had been more successful, I assume the DLC and other updates would have been a mountain of content to expand the Mayhem multiverse. The only issue that I have found so far, is that the game crashes frequently while displayed in HDR, which is my only complaint, but upon turning that off, I have had no further bugs or issues at all. The game is definitely for the more mature audience, and is very amusing and enjoyable. The creators of this game have a great sense of humor. In short, this game is the whole package. Agents of Mayhem is very well made in terms of gameplay, graphics, story, execution and voice acting.

This is a good psychological game, with many well designed puzzles. The graphics are among the best I have seen in gaming, and the combat is simplistic and fun. The story is well written, with excellent voice acting. This game does give a lot to think about. How much it reaches you might depend on how much you have dealt with or are dealing with in life. While I do not have the form of mental illness that Senua demonstrates, from the many dark times I have faced in my life, I find many relatable aspects to the psychological struggle. I have long since looked forward to my last day. There is a sequel to this game coming out, which looks phenomenal, and I intend on supporting it with my little part of purchasing the game. I consider this game a must play experience, but recommend taking time to enjoy it. Don't use a walkthrough or guide unless you are really stuck. Nothing in this game is truly taxing that you should spoil the story.

I recommend playing through once or twice before making any changes or adding to the game, as it is a very well made game on its own as well.
