Insanely addictive, highly rewarding game in an exceptionally classical Dark Souls style with delicious level design and utmost effective level up system. After getting platinum trophies for just every game in this genre, I was pleasantly surprised at how great Lies of P is. One of very few SoulsBorne games where you invest in your character, your character thanks you. Takes everything the best from the genre and marries it to an amazing story. Got my platinum trophy yesterday on PS5 and already hugely miss this game. Will most likely get Lies of P on Xbox too and get all the achievements. This masterpiece easily deserves to have over 90% on Metacritic.

Let me start by saying that Starfield was the main reason I bought Xbox in addition to PS5 to be all set for the release, and I certainly had the game pre-ordered on day one. However, after playing for some days, I quit because the missions were lackluster and uninspiring, and there was no promising storyline ahead.Some weeks later, the presence of my Xbox prompted me to resume playing the game, but again I was eventually disappointed to find it still lacked engaging missions and a decent narrative, so I quit again.Then I guess I was keen on proving to myself yet again that buying the Xbox was worth it, so I gave it another go only to be let down once **** sum up, I found myself repeatedly returning to and then giving up on this game in a span of 3 to 4 months, and despite my best attempts, I couldn't identify any redeeming qualities. The major issue simple as it may sound is it’s no fun game to play, lacking any action, pace and solid story. Another issue is you’re never encouraged to craft any items or upgrade your skills and gear for one simple reason - you don’t need it and couldn’t care less about this **** game's standout feature is the vast galaxy it offers but even with that being said, the planets design as such is pretty monotonous, unimaginative and most of all empty and uninviting to be explored. I think of all the planets I visited only one was somewhat compelling. Outer worlds with just one solar system does an incomparably better job and is a masterpiece.I'm still finding it hard to believe how bad this game turned out to be, and what's even harder to believe is that it's been in development for decades, at least that's what the trailer **** more solid proof to make you realize how inefficient and weak as a console Xbox is compared to PlayStation. Just when you thought Microsoft has finally found the right title to make it big, this disappointment arrives.Shame on you, Bethesda and Microsoft!In the recent years PlayStation has had tons of wonderful exclusives, yet you were unable to properly handle even one single game.Just how shortsighted Microsoft can be to release on one hand a garbage like this, and on the other choose to close down Tango Gameworks, the wonderful company that gave us Evil Within and Evil Within 2?Very much hoping that the next Elder Scrolls will have better luck. As for Starfield, it is undoubtedly the worst game Bethesda has ever made. Even the highly deprecated Fallout 76 was a much better game than this.Last but not least, with both Redfall and now Starfield being complete failures, the only way to save my Xbox from collecting dust would be probably using it as a UHD/Blu Ray player.

All those negative reviews come from the users upset this is an Xbox exclusive, so just ignore them. I personally bought Xbox SX for Starfield alone and am very-very happy I did. This the best game so far I've played this year and having said that I've barely even scratched the surface. It's about time though that Xbox makes an analogy for a platinum trophy like PlayStation has

Miyazaki was barely involved with this and it shows The game makes the same mistake as Wo Long - 1. the opening level is very badly designed with mediocre textures 2. the very first boss is a real pain and at that very monotonously designed like everything else. The game is divided into chapters, and every time you quit the game, you'll have to restart the chapter from scratch which is extremely frustrating. The first From Software game I quit this early. Pick just any non-From Software souls game and it'll turn out better than this garbage.

Still one of the most beautiful stories ever told, one that got me crying after I got the sad ending. Have this game on PS4, will definitely get the PS5 and Xbox SX version and get all the achievements from scratch.

After playing over the half of it, I came across a certain a mission where due to a glitched door the game wouldn't trigger the start of the next goal, resulting in being unplayable beyond that point. I tried restarting the chapter, but it wouldn't fix the issue, and frankly I couldn't care less because there was nothing even vaguely impressive about this sorry excuse of a VR experience. The maps are below average, the combat is not engaging, and saying 'you have zero motivation to finish the game' would be like saying nothing. To give you a clearer idea of what to expect, imagine Far Point VR devoid of any imagination, and Far Point to me was one of the greatest titles for the first PSVR. Such a shame PSVR2 is not backwards compatible. Avoid at all costs.

First things first, this game has a wonderful storytelling and voice acting and breathtaking views, in other words - everything a great game needs to have. For Dark Souls fans this game might even work better by paying tribute to the wonderful genre we all love. I was certain this would end up one of my top favorites and was even excited with the sequel being released in a month or so, but sadly... things didn't work out, and that's due to absolutely idiotic controls that are unable to handle the overly challenging terrain. Bosses-wise the game is not hard, it's very entertaining on the contrary, but it's overly arduous when it comes to wall running, double-jumping, rope climbing with the ambiguous controls the game offers. Mostly the problem is you don't have a clear control over jumping/double-jumping, whereas you have to overcome climbing challenges that consist of cascades of the aforementioned techniques, and, sadly, most of the time you masterfully perform some perfect set of moves just to go to waste with the final jump that you fail, not because you're a bad gamer, but because you're not fully confident how the Goddamned jump works here. Whoever were responsible for this part should be immediately fired as they completely ruined my experience with Jedi: Fallen order. Before buying this game, do keep in mind, that for people who have acrophobia (fear of heights) this game will seem like the Sekiro of climbing games and a true nightmare. Sekiro I platinumed, but I refused to play by the idiotic control rules set by this game's developers. Again - very good story and level design completely undermined by the horrid controls. If you decided to go for a platinum, be prepared for pulling your hair out.

A more detailed review will come soon, but for now this is just a weird looking game void of any imagination or creativity. It's neither horror nor sci fi, nor mystery, and not even a wasted potential. In fact, I can't believe somebody could've green lighted this project. Much as I love Japanese games, this one is really impossible to enjoy. Just as scary as a dancing origamis or flame-throwing sushi could be. Come on, guys! Seriously? Why not give us Evil within 3 instead, or start another gory franchise like the first Evil Within? I was stupid enough to pre-order this, but now when I look at it, only on sale this could've been less disappointing.

This is a fantastic addition to Nioh franchise and incomparably better than the first one. Looking forward to Nioh 3.

Up till now I thought 2019’s RE3 was the worst in franchise I’d played. Little did I know Resident Evil Village is on its way to prove me wrong. Complete disaster **** and one big mess of bad choices. The overall setting is horrible, maps are badly designed, and although I admit that separately their textures seem polished, the problem is that they don’t add up together. It’s like they never had a bird’s-eye view of the entire project to see those issues resulting in such mess. Since the game doesn’t have a single distinct villain, they tried to compensate the lack of villain quality with quantity, offering instead a bunch of potential bosses that look and sound extremely contrived and monotonous in their lines and unrealistic in all aspects. The protagonist too seems underdeveloped, and, although we had seen Ethan before in absolutely fantastic RE 7, after playing the Village for over 3 hours, I still couldn’t project myself in his shoes and care, no matter how hard I tried. The writing is very bad and lacks any hook. In RE 7 even the ordinary minions were so specifically designed, fighting them was suspenseful fun, and now we came all this way to the Village just to shoot a bunch of classic zombie-resembling freaks? Wake up, Capcom! We’ve grown bored of it, where is your imagination? Again, I want to highlight that this game lacks any visual and narrative originality. You will be surprised how inferior it is to its predecessor, and on top of everything they didn’t add a VR mode either. Now I can see why the developers after all made the game PS4-compatible. Had the Village been released for next-gen consoles only, it could’ve end up being a catastrophic failure. In conclusion, I bought this at 40-something-percent discount and still want my money back. I’d feel disappointed even if it came 100% free. This is definitely not what a good game looks like.

Just when I was sure that Supermassive Games will not make the same mistakes for the 3rd time in a row, they ended up delivering a game even worse than Man of Medan. I wonder if these guys have been doing anything but indulging one another for the last years? Because it's obvious they're not even trying to impress. Making a mediocre game at best is now their quality bar. At the end of the day they can always pat themselves on the shoulder, saying 'well, technically it's a game, there are playable characters, they can move, there are different endings, and though they look pretty much the same, technically those are different endings... okay, that's a wrap... it's horrible, but it's also cheap. They'll buy it'. Writing - 0/10 Execution - 3-4/10 Acting - 3/10 (I'm surprised the actors even agreed to deliver those so-called lines)

Honestly, I came in with no high expectations, and stayed for one of the best games I had ever played. In fact, I could go on enjoying it for months. Let’s start with what stroke me first, which is, of course, the Victorian London. Saying ‘it’s breathtaking’ would be an understatement. Even if you decide to explore the city first, you will never be bored exploring/looting/conquering, before embarking on main campaign. As for the story-telling, Assassin Creed Syndicate is another pinnacle of perfectly executed cut scenes and voice acting. The writing and the execution are simply phenomenal, no other way to put it. Frankly, the game is so immersive and addictive, I wouldn’t even mind replaying it from scratch. You’ll most likely love this game whether you’re a fan of the franchise or not. I’ll go ahead and call it ‘the second true Ubisoft masterpiece after Far Cry 3’. Being my first Assassin Creed experience, having finished it, I’m ready now to play just any title of the series, eyeing ‘Origins’ for next. Assassin Creed Syndicate could’ve easily been the Game Of The Year, or least get a ‘Must-Play’, very surprised it didn’t. It’s not just one of the best games I’ve ever played, not just one of the most beautiful games, but one I still play even after getting the platinum trophy.

I picked Mafia 2 with bundle together with 1st Mafia remake, so while waiting for the original to become available, I'm playing Mafia 2, and it's extremely entertaining. It has some bugs, yes, but nothing to ruin the fun. If you loved it back then, you'll love it even more upgraded.

Finally I got what I always wanted - a Souls game that would keep the players engaged, thanks to its story, and not just rely on the unbearable difficulty alone, that most of its predecessors coming from Miyazaki did. And Code Vein brilliantly achieves that. The writing was incredibly well done. In just no time I realised I was in love with the characters. Bandai Namco did the right thing by creating a game that would first and foremost entertain, which is why some people got it wrong, probably because they've got used to being tortured. But still Code Vein can be extremely hard, if you stop partnering with any of the NPC's. To me personally this was the best souls experience ever. Even after getting the platinum trophy, I still play it. The visuals are amazing, the gameplay is long enough, and although it has its challenging moments, the developers did their best to ensure you'll have a good time with it. Among the advantages Code Vein has compared to previous entries are - 1. Great storytelling and characters. 2. Phenomenal visualisation. The level design is unlike anything you've seen before. Much better than DS3 and Sekiro. 3. Phenomenal score by Go Shiino. 3. Great voice acting. 4. A map that will be a lot of help making it significantly easier to not miss out any important item. 5. The co-op with other players is greatly simplified here. You don't have to place any signs like in DS3. You can be in one area and still be teleported to the other end of the game world to aid another player. 6. Reasonable difficulty level, unless you choose otherwise. 7. Even when you start a NG, it doesn't have to be NG+, so if you're doing an additional run for platinum trophy, that will come in pretty handy. Even the soundtrack I loved much much more than in Dark Souls. There are at least 3 pieces I will forever keep in my phone now. The track called 'Requiem', playing during one of the endings, I couldn't listen to without tears. Needless to say I was overwhelmed every time I finished the game. Although I have favorite animes, I never considered myself being a huge fan of the genre before, but now, thanks to Code Vein, I do. I'm eager to see just any anime title there is. Don't listen to the reviews downgrading this game! It's sheer brilliance! I was an idiot to refrain from buying it the day it came out, but later I wanted to kill myself for that. Not as a punishment, but just to support the developers, I additionally got 2 more copies - one for my brother-in-law and another for my best friend. I will gladly give my money to Bandai Namco and buy just any title they make. Thank you, guys, for these wonderful emotions.

I'll have to agree with the reviews saying 'this shouldn't be considered a separate game but a dlc instead' because it's just too short, too small and too pricey. Nearly no new maps, they simply placed more zombies to somewhat make the play-through harder and worthwhile, but it obviously didn't work and never could. While a lot of players hate Konami, I remember when Metal Gear Survive was released, they at least had the decency of lowering its price, while the game was intended for endless hours of immersive fun. As for RE3, it's pure cash grab. I will definitely not be doing a platinum run and this will be the last time I pre-ordered a RE game.

I'm very surprised at the low user score of this game. Surge 2 is way superior to overhyped Sekiro not only with its controls. The plot is very intriguing to say the least but really makes you addictive are the absolutely brilliantly designed maps. I'm definitely getting all the expansions it has.

Don't believe the negative reviews. This game is a masterpiece. It's kinda slow burner, but it's eventually very rewarding. Easily one of the best games ever created. I've been playing it for a day now, and I'll sure go for platinum. I don't know why some people complain about it being boring, it's merely trying to be different and bring something new to the industry.

Dear Hidetaka Miyazaki, You certainly do have your talents, but please don’t get too puffed up. Believe it or not, we’re well aware you can make an extremely hard game, in this case, nearly unplayable game, but try to understand you don’t need too much intelligence to do that. To tell a story that will touch people’s hearts though, you do, therefore I advise you come up with a different strategy to visualize your ideas, however abstract they are, instead of remaking the same game over and over again. I’m sorry to be the one to ruin this for you, but you can in fact make a bad game, as opposed to your twitter post, because with this effort you lost a lot of Souls funs who might not be coming back on the first day Elden Ring is released, including myself. And I don’t care whether it’s George Martin or whoever you’re teamed up with for the next game. I’m rating Sekiro 0 out of 10, because most of it is purely a potboiler.

Do not listen to the negative reviews. This is one of the best game I have ever played. It's so good that even after playing Resident Evil 2 remake it took me only 20 minutes or so to be completely absorbed by the mesmerizing atmosphere and excellent writing. 63% and 6.4 user score??? Are you kidding me??? After Sekiro and Resident Evil 2 remake this is the 3rd best game I have played this year. Spend the entire weekend without getting bored or tired. Go get this game, do yourself a favor, you'll love it. People who are downgrading this game, have mostly stopped playing early on feeling somewhat disappointed with not very polished graphics and mechanics, but those flaws are not a big problem. You'll get past them very quick and start enjoying the story and suspense. Awesome Lovecraft game. We need more.

This game is good and so challenging. I can't believe I played it for the first time only in 2017 after playing the other Dark Souls. For all those Dark Souls fans who have only PS4, therefore can't play the first Dark Souls. Buy an old console. This game is perfect.

The grand finale we were waiting for. The locations are stunning, bosses are great and pretty tough to beat. This is as great as the main game. I had so much fun especially in the final fight. Knowing this is the end of Dark Souls series makes me sad. I wish they had saved at least one more DLC to deliver as a surprise. Thank you, Miyazaki-san for this immaculate vision.

Where are those negative reviews coming from? 7.3 user rating?! This DLC is simply breathtaking. I can't believe there are people that rate it less than 10. Excellent worthy addition to the phenomenal game. I certainly admit I would love it to have more bosses, but still Ashes of Ariandel is great. If you love dark souls, get this DLC. I didn't have this much fun for a long time. Bravo, Hidetaka Miyazaki!

I'm truly surprised at the low rating this game has. I had played it on pc and started playing this PS4 edition yesterday. The picture looks decent, the sound is amazing. After spending 3-4 hours playing, I'm sure I would want this game to never end. It feels like the first time. So I highly recommend to buy this game.

Incredible breathtaking game you’ll become addicted to. I can’t express how much I loved it. You have to see it to believe. It’s a shame they are not restoring the first Dark Souls for PS4, hopefully someday. I’d love to play it. Souls games are now among my top favorites. This game is huge, and I mean really huge, with plenty of places to explore, plenty of bosses to fight and breathtaking design you will just want to stop and admire. Very challenging and will certainly affect your expectations from games you are to further play. The phenomenal Bloodborne was my first experience in souls’ games, and after finishing its’ Old Hunters DLC I realized I must get Dark Souls 2. Even with minor graphics flaws which could be improved, this game is still a masterpiece and one of the best games ever created. Good luck with your journey!
