Star Wars Battlefront II8

Got the game for free like so many on the Epic store. Reviewing it here since its impossible on the miserable Epic Launcher. The single player story is compelling and fun to play with stunning visuals. its short, buts thats ok for a game focussed on multiplayer. But avoid multiplayer like the plague. Yes the loot boxes are gone, but not the terrible grind it seems. You start as a trash player and have to spend hours to unlock the good loot, for 1 dude. Then grind hours for another dude. There is plenty good shooters like squad etc where u can join the action without grind.

Anno 180010

Since u cant rate games on uplay or epic store. This is a good place to look. The game is excellent and addicting. There is no reason to wait untill cpy or codex crack it. Just buy it, its worth every penny. There will be dlc, but you'll be buying a full finished, polished game. The game itself is incredible complex. If you reached the final tier in anno 1701 (Aristocrats), its where this game starts. Everything untill tier 3 is a warm up, it starts from there.

Surviving Mars0

I am writing a bad review sadly. Paradox does have an excellent marketing department, they are really active on social media and other gaming media. They know their advertising and they got me really hyped about the game. However the hype is bigger then the game itself. The graphics themselves look good, but it does a very poor job explaining itself. A turtorial is almost non existant. And thats where it ends for me.

This review is based on my first hour experience. I might try it again tomorow. If you see rating 4, its not bad, but I am not convinced at the moment. At the start your greeted with an exploding starship and a few seconds later u splash into the sea, where the game starts. Beside picking up a fire exstuisgher and killing the fire. The game doesnt explain anything. Alof of equipment is broken and you'll need some kind of repair tool. And food and water to live, all you need is in the sea. The game itself is beautifull, day and night cycles. The enviroment feels true and alive. I guess that survival and resource collection games are not my thing. I was looking for 1 kind of ingredient and couldnt find it, I grew somewhat frustrated and ended the game. I could open youtube and look it up, but whats the fun in that? So thats it, 4/10 based on my first houre. The game doesn't need to give everything away, but the explanation itself was kind of barebones. It might be part of what makes this game good for most others.

The 10vs10 games were an instant sell arguement for me. I bought the game in beta and the development team really is working on balancing the game out. There are some stronger/weaker units, but their isn't a bias to allies or axis forces. In a decade where quality rts are rare, this game really stands out. Be it the glorieus fields of normandy, the fluid frontline mechanic... I really dont like 1v1's or 2v2's, I dont like the competiveness in them. I rather prefer 10vs10, Some will call me noob, but I like to play with decs build around arty, air, or infantry. It lets you play the way u like it. The big collective games also take away a bit off indivudual skill, so their is less pressure to perform well. 10vs10 games really feel big and can get fun, but messy at times. 1 big chaos.

I am giving this game 6/10. The game is overpriced for what it currently offers. I think 30 euros or 30 dollars would be a more correct price for this product. For a small development team of 20 people, the graphics of this game are actualy quiet good. I also quiet liked my first 10 hours into this game. Everything felt new, it was fun to discover new stuff, also figuring things out on the go. Without trying to read guides on the internet. I think the limited inventory space in this game is intentional, and makes you use your braines to think out whats important and what not. Perhaps u indeed have to trade more often at the start to empty your inventory. The problem with this game, in my eyes, it becomes more of the same. There are only so much anomaly's availble in the game. Also upgrades don't come fast enough. After 15 hours I am still in my second ship and second multi tool( without using guides...). Their should be a bit more variation in the game to keep things interesting. I also dont feel a real connections with the backstory when I am running around on a planet.

The reviews detail how accessible this game is. For me personally, newcommer to this genre, I was overwhelmed with menu's and options and too. Also the lack of waging war the way I want too puts me off from giving this a good score. It might be a good game for others, but that was a nay for me.

The game starts with an intro thats comparable to fallout 3 and fallout New Vegas, I played both of these games. U start in a normal house husband and wife when the nukes start falling and u have to run to the vault shelter. The first 30 minutes are the best the game has to offer, the rest is a huge let down. After u wake up and leave the vault, the game feels shallow and I feel no connection to the story like I did in the previous games. I simply didnt finish the game by the lack of interest. If u really wanna try this game, I suggest u wait untill the prices drop below 30 euros.

This game is marvelous, from the scenary's you see to the action itself. In the core systems, the game feels alive, in the backwards systems, you feel lonely. Your imagination is the limit, their is no mission, questions marks to guide your progress. Its all up to you, to go out there and experience it.

I'll toss in a bad review. This doesn't mean the game is bad! It means I had a poor experience with this game. The game is priced on steam likea tripple AAA game. 54,95 euro. I am a casual player, I work and in my spare time I enjoy space games. This means I have little time to do it properly. When I played the game I had to start with the turtorials, they do a very poor job of explaining the game to me. I was intimidated by the ammount of custimazation, menu's, options and so on. After a few turtorials, i knew the menu's but not how to play. For a 55 euro game I expect better. Sorry for me that isn't worth this price. Some may have more time then me, get through it and have a nice experience, I didn't.

For a game that boast to be build on a crytek engine, well it doesn't get to that level. I played through the tutorial thinking I was playing a lower screenresolution, nope it was already 1920 x 1080. Their is no character creation, you can only choose some choppy face and thats it. Immediately after completing the tutorial I got hints of the pay2win system pushed into my face. What I can for buying ingame creds. Oh and the game interface is badly made. Feels and is a generic shooter, there are better co-op shooters out there.

I have played this game for about 280 hours, allot of this was during beta. The devs have really come far with this game with a nice ingame interface to attract also younger players. The game the shooting experience, abilities and weapons are all well balanced. Devs do their best to push out up-to-the-minute updates to fix bugs and are very active in releasing content. Only drawback is that most of the lvl's look the same and only recently developper's started releasing different tile sets

Planetary Annihilation10
Sep 13, 2014
Planetary Annihilation is an awesome game! If you like competetive multiplayer RTS games. Has the potential for huge battlefields on multiple planets. Get defeated on 1 planet? No worry u can still own another planet to fight back. By launches nukes, moons, planets at eachtothers base. Or ultimately with a death star. Command huge army's that get bigger and bigger. If you are good at multitasking and like competetive rts, this will be your game. If you looking for a good singeplayer, this game has galactic war, but its just a prep for multiplayer and doesnt offer you much.
