The Last of Us Remastered9
Aug 5, 2020
The remastered title gives just as content as the previous title but with improved graphics, animations and physics. The Last of Us: Remastered deserves more praise then any other game of this generation. Maybe we may not have really needed a port so quickly, but then again, The Last of Us isn’t just any game. As one of the best games of all-time, the more places it is and the more people that can play it, the better. One of the best new features of TLOU:R is the extensional larger framerate. The game displays at 1080p60. The game excellent. The story phenomenal. The game did something that no other game has for me and that is it tugged at me emotionally. Naughty Dog excels at giving games a cinematic feel. I feel as if Naughty Dog puts more effort in to there games then any other developer. This is what every developer should be like. Not some rehash broken game (IW, Hello **** game also comes with DLC. Who wouldn't want a game with an extra story?? Verdict: The Last of Us: Remastered is just as amazing as the original if not better. The game didn't just throw the game over to the next generation title and give it some pretty new details. It improved upon physics. Fixed bugs. Listened to fans. Gave it a staggering frame rate increase and overall just made it the best game of the year. If you enjoyed the original then give the remastered a try Pros: Beautiful Graphics Improved AI and Animations Staggering and Beautiful Story Upgraded Frame rates and Performance DLC bundled in

The Last of Us Part II10
Aug 5, 2020
The Last of Us Part 2 is a tragic tale, but it is one of the best games I have ever played in my life, the story, the combat, the gameplay, graphics, sound design, and soundtrack were all near perfect. Most people who are giving the game low scores such as 0 or 1 have not actually played the game, it's a shame they will never move past their over-inflated ego and give the game a chance before going on to hate the game because of the actions of Abby or Ellie. I urge you to play throughout the game, in no ways is this game a happy game, it will make you angry and sad at many times, but it has some of the best story-telling I have seen in any piece of media.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare9

Spider-Man 28
May 13, 2017
One of the most unique Spider-Man games and even after 12 years still hanging the best one. Web swing is fun and the combat isn't button mashing. The Missions are although similar to the film. They are drastically changed. The game expands towards the film and performance by shocker and mysterious is phenomenal. Voice acting is pulled out from the movie actors and is great. The city is large and for the time was very innovative and really different then previous Spider-Man titles. The upgrade system is unique and well though out. Web Upgrades, momentum upgrades, combat upgrades, etc. There are side missions that you have to do to progress though out the game and does get a bit repetitive it goes by pretty fast and is enjoyable. The wall climbing and jumping was a huge step up from previous titles. Your jump was more controlled. You could go really high or just high. Overall I would give Spider-Man 2 on the PS2 a 8.5/10. There is no chance of a remastered game as its licensed. There are also some glitchs however they can be ignored.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II8
May 13, 2017
Another year, another good Call of Duty. Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is treyarchs return to Call of Duty. And possibly their best one. Campaign: 8.3/10 Black Ops 2 has some of the strongest story-telling they have ever shown. And we love it. It evolves from just a simple triple-A shooter to a detailed and complex Call of Duty game. They have shown us that Call of Duty isn't just shooting and can even better then most actions films of these days. The story is detailed and very well written. We believe that Black Ops 2 is the Activisions strongest game in terms of Story. Multiplayer: 8/10 Call of Duty's multiplayer this year is as fun as it was in MW2. In fact its even better. The multiplayer in this years Call of Duty is the most ambitious yet. I hated MW2's multiplayer but for the people who liked it your gonna love this. This years Call of Duty is colorful and very much played its predecessors. Zombies: 9/10 Another great Zombies experience from treyarch. When will they ever go wrong with zombies? Everyone loves it. I think this years zombie is just as good as its predecessors. Verdict. Black Ops 2 is a step up in just about every way possible from the first Black Ops, and a refreshing change of pace from MW3, which felt too similar to MW2 in too many ways. The campaign is as bombastic as ever (with branching paths and unique endings), the multiplayer has been tweaked just enough to keep things interesting, and the zombies are back as Treyarch's well-known signature on the franchise. There are a few things that don't work quite as well as they could have (the Strike Force missions are wonky in the A.I. department), and the execution of some of the plot elements are ham-fisted at times, as with just about any other CoD title. If you liked Black Ops or you're into fast-paced shooters, Blops 2 is a no-brainer. Overall: 8.3/10

Call of Duty: Ghosts7
May 13, 2017
Call of Duty Ghosts was the first Call of Duty to release on the next generation consoles and featured a new IP. But does that make Call of Duty: Ghosts a worthy FPS? Call of Duty Ghosts represents a new beginning for Call of Duty. Although from the gameplay it looks extremely similar to previous titles. Its not. Now you might be thinking that's a good thing right? No and yes. Although Call of Duty ghosts expands on the formula of FPS it still doesn't add enough variety to the shooter. Infact it feels like a step down. Campaign: 7/10 The campaign is incredible and unarguable one of the best Campaigns in Call of Duty. The propelling shooting, fast paced scenes and detailed visuals gives it a fun experience, not just for Call of Duty fans but also returning and new FPS fans. You take control of Logan, the protagonist who for some reason can not talk at all. Who is faced with a near WW3 situation after ODIN (A space craft from outer space) launches a nuclear device on to the earth. But I am extremely disappointed the lack of character depth and development. The game felt too predictable and felt too short for a campaign(even for call of duty)The game still makes me wonder what happened to the civilians in the earth. Overall I give the campaign a 7/10 Multiplayer: 6/10 In where the graphics are nice and pleading in the Campaign. The multiplayer does seem to have a noticeable difference. The detail is tuned down a little bit but not enough to realize. Lets talk about the health. In my experience I felt like I was dying too much and the game felt more like whoever shot first would win. In rare occasions you would win those gun fights. But in game modes such as search and destroy and gun game, there was a persistent balance with the guns and it felt alot more slow paced. Giving me time to calculate and figure out good flank areas. The customization really sets new bars but even then doesn't give enough depth for a 60$ title (Or 70$ for CAD at the time being). Overall I would give the multiplayer section a 6/10. I would not recommend this game for the multiplayer unless your a hardcore Call of Duty fan. Extinction: 8/10 Extinction is the peak of Call of Duty: Ghosts. It really adds depth towards the game and makes the games 60$ value a whole lot more worth it. It really develops upon the zombies mode but puts a spinoff. It develops its own formula and has a currency perk system. Upgrades would include stronger bullet penetration and more. The aliens have a lot of detail and also you cant just shoot every alien. You have to make sure you time your attacks. Call of Duty Ghosts isn't a great game, but it certainly isn't a bad one either. It manages to give enough content to come out as a acceptable game but it just doesn't give enough variety to please even hardcore Call of Duty fans. It isn't fun enough. And as most players come for the multiplayer experience, it just doesn't seem worthy. I would buy Call of Duty: Ghosts for the co-op Extinction and the detailed and in depth story. Verdict: Pros: Good Graphics Good Customization Really Fun Extinction Decent Campaign Cons: Chaotic Multiplayer Bugs Short Campaign Overall: 7/10

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 37
May 13, 2017
Although Infinity Ward created some pretty fun filled Call of Duty games in the past. Modern Warfare 3 is a step down from the original modern warfare games. This one isn't as inspired or creative as the first two games however this doesn't make it a bad triple A shooter game. As even with its weaknesses Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 remains a strong video game. Campaign: My initials thoughts for Modern Warfare 3's campaign was fun, explosive and big. And I got exactly that. When I stepped into the campaign of Modern Warfare 3 I was greeted to one of the best Call of Duty Campaign openers. I loved how fast and explosive it feltI loved how the game didn't run to far away from its Call of Duty style. I loved the story and the way it is told. There are somethings I was disappointed in with the campaign. The main thing would just be how it feels to much like its trying to be a film not a video game. However set that aside Call of Duty MW3s campaign is almost as good at Modern Warfare 1 and 2's campaign Campaign: 8/10 Multiplayer: Although Call of Duty is mainly known for its explosive multiplayer I felt as if 2011's Call of Duty felt too similar to MW2. TOO SIMILAR. The map layouts were very similar and even the graphics didn't look any different. The weapons were the same and the multiplayer mode just felt like it was MW2's original Multiplayer however they decided to scrap it and throw it in to MW3. However the multiplayer can be fun if you really enjoyed MW2's. It isn't anything new however its still an exceptable addition to Call of Duty MW3. Multiplayer: 6.8/10 Survival: Survival is the newest addition to Infinity Wards Call of Duty MW3. And it may as well be the strongest. Survival mode is something new and something unique. Adapting from Zombies treyarch formula the game made a third mode and mode that was especially fun to play. I found myself enjoying Survival mode alot. And that it was very fun with friends. This was an addition to MW3's Call of Duty mode that was probably the best. Making it Infinity Wards next go to third gamemode. I feel as if they should bring back Survival mode for their next call of duty. Its fun and feels innovative. Unfortunately the gamemode doesn't have an actual story so you just run around random maps shooting hoards of enemies. Still very fun. Survival: 8/10 Verdict. 2011's Call of Duty was the first weakest addition to Activisions growing Call of Duty franchise however it still came out to be a funfilled and enjoyable experience. Pros: -Good Campaign and Story Telling -Really Fun Survival Mode -Multiplayer Mode adapts from MW2 Cons: -Weak Multiplayer, too similar to MW2. -Game Breaking Glitchs Overall: 7.6/10

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild9

Breath of the Wild is exhilarating and beautiful, its cell shaded graphics work incredibly well for it. The open world is detailed and amazing. Nintendo's first game on the NS is extremely close to a masterpiece. The story is unique and goes deep. The characters are incredible and have a lot of depth. The open world has endless opportunity. Only con is frame-rate dips low sometimes. Verdict: 9.4/10

Minecraft6
Mar 1, 2017
Minecraft is an extremely cancerous title, I cannot embrace how much negativity I have for this review (Espescially for the PC Version) let me start off by talking about the graphics, I wouldn't really **** on minecraft for having bad graphics IF it didn't have the optimization of a potato. I remember when I used to have an r7 240 minecraft at medium settings ran at 80FPS. Lets compare this to a game that actually uses graphics as an resource and actually looks better at even low settings. CSGO performs at high settings at 80fps. So how come a game revolving around blocks have the optimization that no other game should have? Simple developers were lazy as **** so they decided to just use a script for websites and phones instead of using a real game engine. I feel as if they should create minecraft on a completely new game engine (sort of like the Windows 10 version) however actually make it the EXACT same thing it is now. Another thing is the physics. They are stupid and actually dont make sense at all. The sense of creativity and exploration is the only good thing that brings me in. Mods and Friends are the only things that make this game even worth money. Minecraft creates a world which is easy to explore but annoying to play in. Verdict: If you like adventure games and exploring with friends, then maybe you should pick up Minecraft however this game is not worth its retail price as it is the exact same thing equivalent to tetris except its not optimized Pros: Fun Exploration Online Play Mod Support Cons: Worst Optimization ever Bad graphics *For Optimization Primarily* Community is worst then Call of Duty Milked from Bad Youtubers

Horizon Zero Dawn9
Feb 28, 2017
A Completely new video game from Guerrilla Games. I expected them to create a new and powerful trilogy as they did with Killzone. And was I surprised, with the last installment being a bit of a letdown from them. They spent 4 years creating a incredible new and innovative world with an equally exciting plot. They designed Horizon Zero Dawn with no exceptions, they went all out. The combat is incredible and the graphics are outstanding, im mainly PC Gamer but even then I have to props to the developer for creating such an incredible detailed world. The story has a plot twist in the end which rounds the score higher. What I mainly want to discuss is how fun and in depth the story goes. Its actually one of the only plots that really created something excited and really gives me hopes that there is still awesome developers out there who dont just love grabbing money from fans. But like every game Horizon Zero Dawn has one major flaw. The side-missions or quests. There all alike and the same pretty much, each one requires you to get something for someone or do something for them, the first few times its fun but it gets a little repetitive over time but underneath that is very likely the best PlayStation Exclusive of 2017. Pros: -Attention Grabbing Graphics -In Depth Story -Innovative Gameplay -Detailed Combat -Ingenious use of enemies Cons: -Repetitive Side Quests Overall I would give this game a 9.3./10 which is really a attention grabbing score.

For Honor6
Feb 26, 2017
For Honor seemed to have a lot of potential, especially when we consider its gameplay trailers. However it fails to emerge and create a new and immersive world that really is really impressive. Dont get me wrong I think For Honor is an really fun game but the way it executes it wasn't right, if the tweaked a lot of parts of the game it would be able to create a truely immersive and unique experience created from Ubisoft. This game is good when you play 1 vs 1 fights, actually I would say it is great, however once you leave 1 vs 1 fights and try to play with 2 vs 2 or 4 vs 4 you quickly realize that the developers never designed the game with the intention of players fighting multiple people at once. However the map design and graphics were impressive. But not anything new like Ubisoft promised. Overall For Honor is a good game deep down however in order to find that good game you must dig and dig HARD.

Grand Theft Auto V10
Feb 25, 2017
One of the greatest titles to release, Grand Theft Auto V is probably the best GTA Game to come out. Its extremely detailed and big, and has small details that make the game incredible, well awesome. Having a medium length game, GTA 5 is no exception to GOTY. Rockstar is still to be one of the greatest developers in history, one thing you have to know about these guys you wont ever see a game with a 7/10 or lower. They created GTA 5 so well, even I think it deserves GOTY (And Im a nit picker!). The game is the closest thing to perfect, of course the title has flaws such as the long loading screen but its still one of the greatest and latest games to come out in 2013-15. However the titles flaws are online, I think online is fun and unique and adds replayability, however the online is a bit laggy and has lots of hackers on it sometimes (mainly on the PC version and last gen consoles) Rockstar really created a good game and many more to come in the foreseeable future: Verdict: GTA V was arguably one of the most anticipated and best games of the last generation and it's re-release on the PS4 is highly welcomed but I wouldn't say its really needed for returning players on current generation consoles. The online is good but still needs improvements.

The Amazing Spider-Man 24
Feb 25, 2017
With Beenoxs newest addition to the Spider-Man universe, I feel as if they really quit when trying to create a universe that was both fun and also made sense. There were a lot of confusing concepts in this game, the story wasn't interesting and the gameplay never changed, the web swinging was the best it had been in the last 5 years but it also feels extremely plastic. You press the button, you hold on to the web for 2 seconds until it automatically lets go. The animation for the web swinging isn't creative and doesn't hold on type of good physics. He always looks the same when swinging. The graphics are OK, nothing incredible but they are exceptable. I however did enjoy fighting crimes and unlocking new suits. The fighting wasn't bad but it was just too easy. The boss fights could break the game over time too. I feel as if it wasn't beenox's fault of creating such a mediocre title, instead with the recent flaws that activision has been committing, such as low budget quick cash grabs, Activision really just cared about stealing money from young spidey fans. Beenox could have created an incredible game like they did with **** Dimensions, however activision slowly started to shift away to the Call of Duty genre. What doesn't make sense as well is that Activision just stopped caring about its fans. Adding Micro-DLC to every game possible, such as recent Call of Duty titles. Verdict: If you're a fan of spider man and you're looking for a game to waste a bit of time playing you won't be disappointed. However this game isn't worth half of its retail price. If you find this game for around 10 bucks, I would say its pretty fun, however a game so broken and unfinished doesn't deserve even 30 dollars.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive9
Feb 24, 2017
Counter Strike: Global Offensive is just a few bug fixes and features away from beating its predecessors. With 100s of hours on this game and previous installments, it is safe to say that CS GO is just as good as providing a competitive and fun experience as 1.6 and source did. One thing I love about the Counter Strike shooter genre at once is the sheer amount of skill required, you cant simply jump into a kill a wreck havoc, you must be able to learn spray patterns, smoke areas, and have a good amount of game sense, in most games the map doesn't make much of a difference towards the gameplay. But Counter Strike: Global Offensive provides a substantial amount of game sense, map knowledge, and gun spray patterns in order to just get the simplest of objective done. The ranks add more gameplay and less repetitive, not only is it fun to say "IM Master Guardian 2" but its also a good way to separate different skill groups. Ranging from the Beginning of Silver to all the way to Global Elite. One incredible feature that is new to Counter Strike is the addition of Workshop. You are able to download maps, gamemodes and also post skin ideas! Awesome way to add value and replay ability to the game! The map balance is a bit screwed up on a few maps, but with a good team you can achieve anything. However not every game is perfect, especially Counter Strike, unfortunately valve really decided to start off with new micro-dlcs. With the recent CSGO Betting scandals. Valves reputation has went lower then it should be. However there is a way to get these micro-dlcs without paying. You can get pretty **** drops when you rank up. The recent addition of spray cans is the worst of the worst. I hate seeing them in my drops as they have no value at all and could have been in the game since the beginning, worst way to charge players. The verdict is Counter Strike: Global Offensive is just as fun as it was in the past, with new features to give it better replay ability, I think this game shines out to be one of the most played and competitive and fun video games even after 4 years; And that's not easy to say, especially for shooters. The cons can be easily ignored, as they dont provide any substantial benefit in the game, and are just cosmetics. Overall I give CSGO a 9. Its fun and amazing with the exception of Micro-DLC. Pros: Upgraded Graphics Fun Competitive Scene New Features Good rank system Awesome Workshop Content 100% replay ability Lots of Skill Required Cons: Annoying Micro-DLC's

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare7
Jan 29, 2017
Multiplayer: 5/10 -Good Maps -Terrible Flow -Terrible Movement -Terrible Guns -Good Specialists Zombies: 7/10 -Good Guns -Stupid and Childish theme -Good maps Campaign: 9/10 -Great Graphics -Great Physics -Completely different from previous Cod campaigns -Memorable Characters Overall: 7/10 Infinite Warfare is a good game, but it certainly is a let down from the previous installment. The movement is completely stripped down from Black Ops 3 and doesn't work out for Infinite Warfare. The space theme is good. The zombies is stupid and serious enough to enjoy but ignore that and its a pretty good zombies experience. The Campaign is now one of the best Call of Duty campaigns. It was great and was much more innovative from the previous titles. One thing I was disappointed to hear was that call of duty ghosts 2 didn't release, leaving us with a cliffhanger.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare5
Jan 29, 2017
Do yourself a favour and DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. Its completely useless, overall the worst installment in Call of Duty history. They ruined Zombies, they ruined multiplayer. Multiplayer supply drops are P2W (Pay 2 win) and also should not be purchasable but are. The multiplayer is chaos with its broken gun system and boost jumping from everywhere. Its too chaotic. The zombies mode is stupid and have no reason to be in it. It makes you weaker with no exo in the beginning and the zombies have exo's (Wtf?) The onlty good part about this is the multiplayer. Kevin Spacey had a good role, but overall this game is just not worth retail price at all. Multiplayer: 4/10 -Stupid supply drops -Stupid p2w -Stupid spawns -Stupid Guns -Good Graphics Zombies: 3/10 -Stupid Physics -Way too many glitches -Zombies are over powered. -Story is pointless Campaign: 8/10 -Good Performance from Kevin Spacey -Fun and heart-warming experience -Great visuals -Small bugs Overall: 5/10 I dont recommend this title for the Multiplayer or Zombies. The campaign is the only good part that keeps this game away from being the worst game of the year. But there is always runner up.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III8
Jan 29, 2017
Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is the final installment in the black ops trilogy, but it has nothing to do with it. Infact this really does piss me off as it could have easily been called Advanced Warfare 2. IT had nothing to do with Black Ops. Only a a few words of raul Menendez was spoken and it overall the campaign was boring. However the multiplayer and zombies shine as one of the best experiences I have had throughout the years. The zombies is just a few bugs away from being the best zombies maps. Even If I did prefer the classic movement I think that the advanced movement was nailed down to the ground in this title. Its a great game but the campaign and black market really breaks it out. Campaign: 5/10 -Interesting Story -Misleading Game Title -Nothing to do with Black Ops. -Dumb and Useless Characters -Short Multiplayer: 8/10 -Advanced movement surprisingly good -Map layout is good -Black Market **** -Specialists are unique and not game breaking Zombies: 9/10 -Amazing completion to the zombies universe -Fun map flow and Easter eggs -A few bugs -Gobble gum system works great Overall: 8/10

Yet another let down from 343 Industries. Halo 5 ruined the complete halo franchise's universal acclaim spot. Halo 5 was falsely advertised. The game can be completed within 5 hours and it has no multiplayer. The campaign however was trash. The multiplayer was really fun and if this wasn't a direct sequel to Halo 4, and instead was something like halo reach, then it could easily get 8/10.

No Man's Sky4
Jan 15, 2017
No Mans Sky is an embarrassment to video games and just media in general. It hurts me to write this review. This game would have much better if we weren't lied to us and if we were given the same information and game play as the game really looked like it would have gotten much more praise. The universe is huge but what makes it good? Thats it, its just "Big". Travelling through out the entire universe is boring and just going from one planet to another is just a chore and just feels like it takes too long. There is no story and no real goal for this game, so overall you just feel useless and underpowered. You start off trying to fix your ship but it gets overly boring from there. There is no multiplayer (Which was a huge selling point for the game). There was no caves to explore, no customizable FOV and best of all. The graphics looked like it was straight barf! In the gameplay trailers we were shown huge beautiful worlds. But in No Mans Sky we are just given an optimization pile of trash. There was no interest in the game and it wasn't difficult or have any difficulty in it at all. Atleast the game is playable ill give it that. And it did feature the main theme. But what good is the main theme if you cant do anything interesting. Overall I give No Mans Sky a 4/10. Do not buy this game. Maybe if it was free, maybe... Cons: No multiplayer. No mountains. No deep caves. No deep sea exploration. No forests. No customizable FOV. No challenge. No interesting NPC. No story. No ending Pros: Atleast they tried (or did they..)

Batman: Arkham Knight9
Jan 15, 2017
Batman: Arkham Knight develops upon previous titles of the Arkham Franchise. It improves upon combat, gliding, upgrades, story and more. This In my Opinion is a worthy completer. But just like the ending of The Dark Knight franchise. It did have a little bump. Lets start off by saying the combat is phenomenal Its incredibly improved from the previous title and just kills button mashing. The gliding is a bit repetitive in my opinion. In the beginning I enjoyed gliding through out the city, but as a progressed I found it more of a chore and actually enjoyed walking from rooftop to rooftop later on. the parkour is fairly basic, and isn't much. But I suppose thats not a key part of the game. The batmobile isn't as bad as everyone says infact I think it adds variety towards the formula of Batman Arkham Knight. A key exponent towards the success of Batman Arkham Knight. The graphics are some of the best graphics I have seen even now in 2017 I still debate whether or not any game has been able to exceed Batman Arkham Knight in such detail and design. The game also features additional story and additional free content. Now lets talk about the story. Batman Arkham Knight's shines in its plot. Scarecrow creates a plan alongside of the Arkham Knight. A unknown vigilante who seems to know every single detail of Batman. As the story progresses Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight put more and more pressure on Batman. The story is totally a campaign you should check out. Its well thought out and has one large surprise towards the beginning for new and returning Arkham players :)) Overall I give Batman Arkham Knight a 9/10. The game is just like the previous titles but with a few minor improvements. Pros: Fun Combat In depth Story Bat mobile gives Batman much more *Badassy* Beautiful and Detailed Visuals. Realistic Physics and easy to use controls. Additional Free Content and cheap Season Pass. Cons: Gliding gets repetitive. Nothing much to do after completion.
