Spider-Man 2

I honestly can't fathom going back to driving a car in the next installment of "Grand Theft Auto" – the world is just so much cooler when you can explore the whole city, meaning everything up in the air as well. Manhattan becomes a giant jungle gym for Spider-Man to play in, and it is a blast.

Regardless of how cheesy it may be, we're glad that there's a slow motion 'Spidey Sense' button, it allows you to appreciate all of the work that has gone into the animation.

May not be perfect, as it does have some flaws in the graphics department and enemy A.I. causing the game to seem unbalanced at times, but with the new features and enhanced gameplay of this title easily makes it a Must Have game.

The goal of any superhero game is to make you feel like the hero, and by that standard, Spider-Man 2 is unrivaled. That it also happens to be a fantastic action game is icing on the cake, a true treat for both fans of the webslinger and general gamers alike.

The fairly repetitive and shallow missions, the dreary presentation of the film plot, and the uneven sights and sounds are normally sufficient to warrant a 'fans need only apply' status.

Spider-Man 2 presents players with a city ripe for action and exploration, but once you swing down out of the clouds and take a closer look at the grubby streets and roads strewn with vehicles, you'll find little to pique your interest. [Sept 2004, p.100]

This was the first Spider-Man game I played as a kid and I loved it. It was the first sandbox game which allowed me to free roam around a simulated Manhattan, and it was fun swinging through the skies between **** as Spider-Man. The web-slinging is a step-up from it's predecessor the first Spider-Man videogame, as the physics engine is more advanced. You can break up petty street crimes on the streets like muggings, purse snatchers, gang fights, grand theft auto, and assailants. The random thugs on the street are more realistic than the goons in the Spider-Man 3 videogame. On top of taking on Doctor Octopus like in the movie and following the movie's plotline, there are other storylines and supervillains and characters from Spider-Man's rogues gallery featured in the game such as Rhino, Mysterio, Shocker, and Black Cat. One of a less exciting features of the game is delivering pizzas as Spider-Man, like in the movie, but it was okay. You also take pictures for the Daily Bugle throughout some points in the game. Going inside the Daily Bugle building is cool, you get to interact with Betty Brant, Robbie, and J. Jonah Jameson. This game is a classic.

Spider-Man 2 is hands down the best Marvel game ever! The best movie based game in fact! The story, physics, everything about this game is a masterpiece!

Spiderman GTA and the upgrades just make it much much better. The bosses are also pretty good andspiderman is just really really good to control (the only bad thing is that there´s not many mobility options in the ground)

Don't look at this review. I thought this was Spiderman 2 for the PS5 and accidently rated it and now I don't know how to remove it.
