Although the art style is a little rudimentary, Slay the Spire's dynamic gameplay is just so addictive that you will find yourself losing copious amounts of time to run after run after run.

I've seriously tried to play this game a good handful of times as I do generally feel bad about buying this indie game and then never touching it, but Restless Soul's attempts at humor are so legitimately painful that it makes engaging with its very bare bones world next to impossible as there's not much about the gameplay to make it all to standout.

While the updates since release have made the game at least playable, Another Crab's Treasure still suffers from empty areas, game breaking bugs, and a very VERY surface level critique of capitalism that doesn't cut much deeper than "corporations bad".

I really enjoyed this offshoot's implementation of a fun card game, but because it drops that distinguishing characteristic entirely by the time you get the hang of it, this is completely pointless.

I remember when this got added as a free unlockable for the 3DS if you beat the enchantress or paid if you just wanted to skip getting good at the game. I legit feel sorry for whoever paid for this as Plague Knight's controls feel beyond clunky to the point of infuriating unplayability.

One of the first games I absolutely loved. A high watermark for this development studio and really a high bar for any aspiring platformer to achieve.

Got it gifted to me after watching two of my friends froth out the mouth over it and uhhhhh it's fine. Sure, the graphics are really polished and the high speed gameplay is really engaging, but the music and voice lines are legitimately so annoying to me that I've just been playing with most of the audio muted. Not to mention, some of the enemies themselves often end up turning the combat into feeling more akin to something like Contra with the infuriating amount of bullets and attacks being thrown at you. Most of the actual gameplay itself is fine, but there's definitely more I dislike than enjoy.
