This is a good game. The mechanics are intuitive and it doesn't feel bloated. Linear game design with some exploration and a good story. My main critique is the ending. While it's a good story, I'm tired of "bitter sweet" endings. I want a full happy ending again.

I don't understand why this game has a such high score. the game feels like it threw a bunch of concepts into a blender and hoped it worked out. it does so many things without any of it being great. and because of this the game is clunky, the controls are awkward and makes things slow. they clearly barrowed a lot from breath of the wild but forgot why any of it was actually good. its a bunch of systems slapped together. how people talked about it and how the trailers made it seem, i thought it was gonna be a fun game to get into and lose myself in. but instead the have weird arbitrary prerequisites to complete any given quest. even liberating a tower can't be simple. i get not wanting a game to be cookie cutter but they tried to do too much with this game that it feels sloppy. it looks great and the combat by itself is fun and smooth. but all the other things just feel off.

The amount of jank in this game is baffling. i get there is a lot to be put into an open world game. but the animations are stiff. you get teleported to the correct position the game needs you to be even with something as simple as the tight wall sidle. what broke the camels back for me was how easy i managed to fall out of the map just trying to figure out a jump puzzle. maybe im spoiled but i have played ps1 games with less jank

It looked good from trailers **** didn't grab me. its trying to be a darksouls like game but with hack and slash controls. the difficulty feels off and progress doesn't feel satisfying. and throwing skill trees every weapon type you get is over whelming as well. all this and a lack of a jump button making you basically walk a forced path boringly. this game is just average. and i was excited about it too.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom7

Let me start off by saying that 7 is a good review score. ign has prisoned the masses with thinking 7 is bad. its not. i think this is a great game overall. i just have more problems with it than i do with some zelda games i find better. The devs definitely are trying to things with zelda, which i like. zelda has always been trying to push innovation. and the echo system is cool and varied. maybe too varied for my teste though. there are so many echos you can choose from and its great that we get so many options. but i catch myself using the same few. there are some just clearly better for the tasks than others. which is the issue with giving the players so much freedom. its great that we get somany options but then more experienced players learn quick how to break the game or optimize it. i like that we can solve puzzles in any way. but some puzzles feel hard because they are too open and im not sure how they intended it to be done. TOTK did the freedom better but i think thats cause of it being a 3d zelda. the freedom of choice is still great and it feels great to overcome an obstacle using anything you want. I think they learned from the complaints people had about TOTK story, with it being too free they had to cut back on making it deeper and we had to hear about the same things over and over again and our character knows more than what the story leads on cause of the freedom. here we get a more sectioned story that still has open elements. its a bit more of a simple story but it worked. im hoping in the future 3d zelda we consider linear story with open world elements more. gameplay wise, outside of the echos, is very solid. my only main complaint is the dependence of the side scrolling areas. half the game is more like playing a platformer like zelda 2 or mario rather than a top down zelda and im not a fan of that for this franchise. overall its a fun experience. and its cool playing as zelda.

Its a very cute and unique game. the mechanic of real world and book world is cool and a new spin on the genre. its definitely not supposed to be a hard game so anyone who complains about that just does not understand the game. one thing to point out is that the jump button is almost useless in the story book sections. invisible walls just to force a puzzle.

This game is a fantastic fun simple 3d platformer with so much charm. the movement is super fluid and the mechanics work so well and the level design is made in such a way that people of all skill levels will enjoy this game. if you are just a casual platform fan, a first timer, or hardcore ago old platformer, you will find joy in this game.

Most of these negitive reviews must be from new gamers cause i am loving the classic hack n slash feeling of this game. It feels nostalgic. Inspired by games like the og god of war and bayonetta

It takes what breath of the wild does and makes it better. The game is jam packed with things to do and with new abilities comes new puzzles. I have only touched the surface of what this game is but from what i have done, it is so much of an improvement to what was already a great game

So, i originally gave this an 8. but playing the game a little longer i have felt some issues with the game. i know its an open world game so running into challenges that are hard makes sense. but i feel like so much game is locked because you don't have certain spells yet even though you get to go everywhere. i was getting locked out of doing things not because im under leveled but the game haven't decided i deserve to yet. talking about challenges. the difficulty of some of the ones you run into gets a spike and its kind of annoying. even though i am the right level for said challenge. that only goes for the combat challenges. and the combat boils down to simon says but they bombard you with enemies in the later parts of the game. which the auto lock on makes combat more annoying then anything when you have multiple things attacking you. the game play is good and it looks great. it is still a very fun game but some things can be fixed. the story hasen't fully grabbed me either. i don't know if its the pacing or they just havent made me feel like there is urgency but its not pulling me in fully. something just feels off. im still enjoying the game a lot and i do recommend it. i just haven't been fully pulled in emotionally

This game is everything I love. its a platformer action rhythm game. so many of my favorite genres. the art style of the game has so much character and is vibrant. its like a combo of jet set radio and spiderman into the spiderverse. its very unique in its own way. and i would love more games to embrace more art styles like this game has . the game play being music based changed it up so much and makes you need to focus on what is happening. paying attention to the music and enemy patterns gives are challenging but fair challenge that is interactive and fun. especially since you can upgrade yourself to get more combos and attacks. and the music itself is amazing. this game would fall apart if it wasn't and they did a great job. also a fantastic cast of voice actors are here as well. especially the main two characters. all in all the game has already made it in my top three games of the year easy. if zelda wasn't coming out it would have already been my game of the year. its FANTASTIC. and it just got dropped out of nowhere

While its better then the trash fire that is nick all stars, it isnt great. There is no single player modes outside of training. The controls are clunky. Its glitchy. Hit boxes are funky. And it uses the **** free to play model like moble games. Its just not fun.

This game does not work correctly at all. trying to get the right floor height is a pain. settings don't save. for a VR game it was one of the worst perception problems i have felt. the paddles don't hit the ball at all how it should. you miss half the time and don't know why. it was just a waste of money cause it doesn't work how it should
