Nice graphics and engaging combat/exploration but unfortunately it suffers from the same issues every gacha game has which is endless running around and boring story/dialogue. You talk with person A, run to person B to talk, then run back to person A to tell them you spoke to person B. Now imagine that being every second quest.

Beautiful word and graphics - 10/10...Combat - 10/10...Story - **** for some issues that will make you ragequit:Camera movements are abysmall. Fighting in tight spaces against multiple enemies is brutal. You'll start fights in third person and as soon as bosses start doing more complex high mobility combos, you'll find your character on a random corner of the screen with enemy nowhere to be seen. Its mind boggling that devs thought not centering your character at all times is a good idea...2: There is a 1 second global input lag for every action. Not noticeable when running around but when it comes to tough fights where you need to be extremely precise, it's a game breaker...3. Boss fights aren't skill checks but rather food checks. Just load your backpack with 30+ pieces of food and you can spam left click and spam heal through any boss fight because unlike most games, there is no animation to eat food so you can spam it mid-swing. All of this makes killing bosses extremely unsatisfying...4. Unskippable cutscenes...5. Load game NEVER loads you on the exact spot you clicked SAVE GAME but instead on the last AUTOSAVE spot. Let's say you spent 10 mins climbing a big mountain and saved on top. Assuming there was no update of any kind that would trigger autosave up there, the LOAD game wouldn't load you on the top of mountain..

POSITIVES: • Character design and highly detailed world • big dodge/i-frame window combined with plenty of FP/mana makes the game much easier than FromSoft games • Skill tree respec is free (more devs need to start doing this!!!) • Weapon upgrades carry across the same type • Enemy diversity, each zone has plenty of unique NPCs-------------------------------------------------------------NEGATIVES: • mines in the snow/mud zones that knock you down and take half hp. Whoever thought of making a whole two (pretty big) zones full of mines hidden in snow/dirt should be fired • too many jumpscare enemies that give you no time to react • interacting with NPCs and objects radius is too small, its so easy to miss the ladder and get killed • Most of the magic skills are inpractical and useless since the cast/animation is like 3-4 seconds • Lack of weapon diversity. I only played with one-handed sword but throughout the whole game I have only used 2 swords as a mage • There is no i-frame/dmg protection when knocked down so if you get unlucky even with basic enemies, they can 100 to 0 you easily • Slowest healing potion in all soulslike games (except DS2)

Beautiful environments like in most recent AC games. Weather system is really good. The story starts good but goes downhill quickly and the ending is pretty anticlimactic. Also English voice acting is really bad. As for the combat and animations, they are pretty repetitive and the game is too easy even on the highest difficulty. Stealth mechanics are good but it's all ruined by the same layout of every village you attack and the same commanders with the same animations. Overall not worth $70, wait for a heavy discount.

Same thing every year... bad netcode, weak maps and crazy aim assist for console players. No option to play PC only without crossplay.

What a beautiful game! Incredible deep gameplay mechanics, graphics and soundtracks. Cutscenes are on the next level, especially cartoon/animated type of storytelling. Regular enemies can be easy at times but bosses are hard and rewarding which is a big plus from me as a soulsborne fan. Story can be confusing at times if you go too fast and ignore lore in the Journal and if you never read the book Journey to the West, but it's still well rounded and understandable. If you enjoyed the game, I definitely recommend reading the book. This game is worth every penny! It peaked at 2.4 million players on Steam for a reason!

Really fun combat and visuals. Especially the boss fights. Music can be repetitive, I wish they added a few more songs.

Awful performance, great graphics, great combat. Great quest design in the first part of the game and falls off in the second part with an awful ending. No actual endgame, minimal fashion options, annoying fast travel design, buggy NPCs, lack of enemy variety, non-existent stealth mechanic even though there are quests including it. Once you finish the game you realize how many plot holes there are. Overall 6/10. A recommended buy on a good discount, definitely not for $70.

Nice world design and nice puzzle quests. Other than that, the attempt at humor is awful, I didn't even smirk once. You get used to it 2 hours in and somewhat enjoy the game. The final boss fight is awfully designed. Overall it's a 5. The game is aimed towards teenagers, there are no mature topics and the gameplay is... what you would expect from a game rated T. The game isn't worth more than $30. If there weren't those fun puzzles this would have been a 4/10.

An absolute masterpiece. Incredible story, unique characters, and fun side missions. Sure it needs a lot of polishing (graphics-wise) and bug fixes but I won't include that in my review since I only encountered 1-2 small glitches in my 15-20 hours of playtime and these will be fixed in the coming months just like with Witcher 3. If you have patience definitely wait until bugs get fixed but also don't forget about the game, it doesn't deserve all these zero ratings.

Truly beautiful story and character development. Combat is fun with a lot of unique moves, also side quests and mini-games are pretty interesting. Some minor things do get repetitive but nothing that ruins the experience. The game is worth the money, especially now with discounts, I give it 8.7/10.

Graphics from 2015. The only place where they actually invested is motion capture for characters, who cares about that? People buy this game for multiplayer. I won't even mention the attempt at cloning Battlefield with Fireteam mode, it's not even a clone, that's how bad it is. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this AA title.

Pretty good for a free game. Interesting open world, combat mechanics and abilities, and a decent story. You can easily put 50+ hours in it and not get bored. It is in no way pay to win so ignore those comments. However, I will have to agree that some systems need to be fixed so the game becomes less grindy.
