Definitely one of the best looking horror games. Campaign length is preety good, worth your money. I liked the Saga story better. Boss fight are good, the gameplay is good, but there is some repetitiveness. I found the shadows in the Alan campaign preety boring and unnecesary. Live action cinematics and the music is one of the best i experieced, Sam Lake is a genius.
One of the best games i've ever played. And i played a lot. The people who made this game have a great sense for horror and atmosphere. The music and CRT style graphics give this game something that i didn't saw in other games. The people who love Silent Hill Alien Isolation will love this. I don't have any cons for this game, it is perfect and pure art.
It looks preety rough for today's standards, but that's not the reason for the low score. I'll start with the cons. The missions are repetitive, sometimes annoying, the enemies are shooting you with a perfect precision from a kilometer, and the next moment, enemies can be next to you, and doing nothing. I thought that the story is much better. Now the pros. The guns sounds preety nice and realistic, even now. The building destruction physics are something that you can barely see in modern games, and it feels really good. I also loved the comedy tone and the characters. That is preety much it.
For me, it is far from Silent Hill, but it has some hints of it. The Medium is for people who like straight linear story driven game. It is deep and sometime confusing, but with unique artstyle and setpieces. Some parts of the game are genuinely scary and intense.
The whole style of the game is something that i never saw in any other game. From the smallest things like sounds from your phone notifications, to the mission design, everything is so unique.I beat all the side missions, and they are fun and different too. The worst thing about the game is that the campaign is dissapointingly short. I couldn't believe when i saw i enter the point of no return i thought i am at half game.
This was my first Soulsborne type game, so maybe that's why the score is so high. I expected this game will take me a lot of time and frustrate me. But i was pleasantly surprised. The combat is so fluent, i mastered the controls quickly. The mechanics are unique and the boss designs are one of the best i saw in years. The length of the game is on point, not to short and not too long.
Played it first time in 2024.I heard lots of bad things about this game, and i think the people were too harsh towards this game. Maybe for that time, people expected something better, but now, from this perspective, Downpour is a interesting game, with a lot more good stuff than bad. It almost perfectly captures Silent Hill atmosphere and music. Enemies are mostly the same. Main protagonist is interesting, story is creepy and fun, i always wanted more and more. It is a little bit better than Homecoming. Overall, this game is not as bad as people represent it.
Remedy is one of the best studios when it comes to storytelling and this games proves that. The episodes between the missions is something that you don't see in video games. The action is not too much. I like the pacing of the game, some cutscenes, after that a little bit of action, and then some episodes. The only thing i didn't like is the last bossfight, it was underwhelming for me...
To me, every game in the Anthology is equally good. Around 9 hours of great fun. Characters are good as always, story, clues and locations is on point.
This game probably deserves a 7, but i want for this game to be a good fresh and new start for Konami. I wish that they continue in this direction. It reminds me of PT, the music has that old school Silent Hill vibe, the fog looks very good, from what i was from the apartments balcony. I would be so happy is this is what SH will be in the series. Only con in this game are the chase sequences. They can be confusing, boring and repetitive. Everything else is good, i had much lower expectations from Konami. You have my support for these kind of games.
I bought it because of single player. I didn't knew it is mostly a multiplayer game. And it was quite nice, the mechanics are good, levels and gameplay is fun,to progress the story, you don't need to grind to level up. I am quite pleased, i expected to be worse..
It is a short, interesting game. Story is nothing special, but variety of levels, enemies, weapons and bosses is good. I beat this in a few hours but it is worth the money, i bought it on discount around 10$ for a physical copy.
I enjoyed the collection, from the oldest to the newest games. Nice rewind system, works nice, without bugs. The collection is filled with nostalgia and worth of a TMNT name. I really love the additional content, soundtracks, box art, artbooks etc.
I played it via backwards compatibility on Xbox One. I heard lots of bad thing about this game, and i understand it is not what the fans wanted, but i enjoyed most of the game. I experienced only one problemit forgot my last save, and i started from the checkpoint before, but overall, it is a nice game, not like 2 and 3, but it has some special moments.Bosses are well designed, but the characters are a bit forgettable. Music is nic, and the highlight is Scarlet. One of the scariest (but not hardest) bosses out there.
It is a controversial score, but i have my own reasons. Ok, so this is the FIRST time i experienced SH games. I've heard about the games throughout the years but only in 2023 i decided to play it, since i bought an Xbox One, so it supports backwards compatibility. I beat SH2, and after 6 months i beat SH3. Every game is good in its own way. SH2 showed me why it was so praised i why everybody wanted a remake. Easily score 10 for SH2. On the other side, SH3 also had a great memorable character, some good locations, but some long and bad, also. Especially towards the end when the game puts more and more enemies. I mean it wasn't hard, but that's not the point. Besides that, few, but nice characters. In both games i didn't experienced any glitches or bugs. It ran perfectly, so i can reccomend the collection for the people who never played these games.
Played it in 2023, on my Xbox One. I was pretty surprised considering such an old game can be so fun and inovative. World, weapons and cutscenes were so **** game from time to time changes the playing style, so it doesnt get boring. Enjoyed it from the start to finish, i cant wait to play the sequels.
Preety nice and addictive platformer. There is a lot of content. The developers were very creative making this game, the variety of levels and colours is magnificent. Good job, Ubisoft.
Played it again via backwards compatibility. Just a simle, good old CoD campaign. Descent story and characters, and good locations. Not the best one out there, but definitely a good game. Final mission really felt good.
The thing that dissapointed me first time i ran the game was that on ps5, i thought that the game will run smoothly in 60 fps, but no. It runs 30 fps, and at some moments it doesn't feel smooth at all. First of all i will tell my pros about this game. Sountrack is mysterious and almost horror-like. The opening of the game makes you want to learn more about what's happening. I like that the game doesn't want you to attack enemies head on, but to sneak and evade combat . Recycling system is a nice thing, too. Now for the cons.. There is a lot of backtracking as i push forward through the story. Variety of enemies is not very big, and later on they become so annoying and boring. I only liked the mimics, the rest is standard generic enemies, especially the phantoms, which have only one voice effect, and later it gets very annoying when you sneak and listening that one same voice over and over and over. Detection system sometimes gets really clunky, i think that in Dishonored it was better. The last third of the game was the worst for me, because of constant backtracking from one end of Talos to another, but not only that. The game throws ten times more enemies in the same area that you went already, and it doesn't add nothing interesting to the game, only pumps up the difficulty and that's it. So for me, the last 5 hours of the game was basically rushing from one objective to another, to avoid combat, and save the ammo. The game overall wasn't constant, you get one good mission, and after that you get two, three bad. It is a ok game, but nothing spectacular for me. Considering the start and the end of the game (they were excellent) , this game had a potential for something more.
I played it again after 10 years on my Xbox One. Linear and not too long story, which you need to play multiple times to understand it all. I will always support games with stories like this. Its a war game but it has a pinch of horror and unsettling atmosphere. Some of the scenes are memorable that i remember them after 10 years. I you are thinking of playing or not, have no doubt. A masterpiece worth remembering.
My first FF game. After around 25 hours, it was a beautiful experience and a nice tale about the friendship.I will start with pros first. Played it on performance mode and it goes smoothly on PS5. Landscapes are nice, but what i most liked are the bossfights with epic set pieces. Bossfight with Ifrit was **** game story time is on point. Not too much, not too short. Now, as for the cons - Sometimes there are boring parts where you fight with the same dull enemies . Side quests are not fun, i beat maybe 7,8 of them and i quit. Checkpoints are sometimes really far far i away, so it can happen you beat 2 sub bosses, you die after that and you start over. I found it preety annoying since this is not a soulsborne like game. But dont get me wrong, it happened 3,4 times during my playtrough. All in all, Noctis is a great character, and it was a good experience...
So i played this in 2023 on my XBox One via backwards compatibility. I always wanted to try this game knowing that it was produced for 15 years and because of that it became a classic in some strange way, I prepared myself that it will be a bad game before i **** it was..I mean,it is not the worst game ever,i finished it (altough it probably has the worst controls ever). It took that long time to produce, but it looks like it was rushed and made in 6 months. It has a few intersting missions and enemy models, it definitely had the potential but at the end it is a bad game. Length is fine, i took my time and it was probably worth for the money i paid (3,4 dollars). I liked the interaction with the enviroment but it should be made much better. At some points, the game is VERY VERY hard, but i think it's more from the glitchy production than the real difficulty. For example, i beat the final boss from the first try, and i had problems with some flying barrels which is hard to evade and they are insta kill, and the flying Octopus-brain things are hard and sometimes you need to have a little bit of luck to beat them because of bad controls. Overall,im glad that i beat this iconic game just to be sure that it is a big junk. Also, fps is too low at some points, and the graphics are awful. The only thing that is rendered good and realistic are b**bs. And i am not kidding. It is the only thing that looks good in the game.
So, i almost had a platinum trophy in this game. (i didn't unlock all the costumes, because i needed a few more challenge tokens). I 100% all the districts, did every challenge and side quest. And i am not that type who will 100% every game,i only play it because of the story. That tells you enough. When you play it, you dont feel forced to complete side activities, it just feels interesting to finish everything and lower the criminal activity in the city. The amount of effort that's been put in every detail of the game is something that i really appreciate. When i feel that passion and hard work that has been put in the game, i can only give it a 10. And now - story.. I won't spoil anything, i like the story, it reminded me of the old Spiderman games, with which i grew up. The amount of bosses is good and it never gets boring. I didn't expected such a good game, it is worth the money for sure.
Story and some missions overall are nice, but the thing that frustrated me the most is that the game constantly wants you to upgrade your ship so you could be competitive in the naval missions in the game. You must play side missions to do that, and they are very boring and the whole expirience felt like a grind. I come home from the job, want to relax and feel the story (which is good) but i get sick when i see ''You should upgrade Jackdaw before starting this mission'' . I think that it is tottaly unnecesary because without that grind, the game is good and fun. Combat is ok, sailing is so immersive,in this game i think you can really ''feel the ocean'' . Also, when pirates start to chant while you sail is music for the ears. But you know Ubisoft, they love to put grinding in their games, especially nowadays. This game could be much better without that stuff, only because of that this game cannot get more than 6.
I like the theme of the game. The mystery of the town, the fog, the unease on every step of the way. Definitely the game for the Silent Hill fans. The town looks beautiful. Story is good and the length of the game is perfect. Just as it should be. I recommend you to play it with a good headset, so you can enjoy the game 100%.
I was a little bit late to the party, i played this game in 2022. But the game didn't felt old or clunky. I love the style, the music, characters ,everything about the game. This is some prime Kojima stuff. Enjoyed every second of it...
I usually finish 99% of my games and i have a preety big collection. This game is one of the few that i couldn't finish. I finished the detective story and half of professors. I bought a collectors edition with some artwork and music disk. Waste of money and time. The concept of the story is interesting enough to try the game, but i was left dissapointed. Characters are dull, save points are preety rare and it doesn't represent the challenge trying to replay levels over and over (because game is preety dificult) ,but it is very boring. Game doesn't do anything to make you to play more and i tried really hard to motivate myself to finish. Unfortulately, i expected at least a mediocre game, and all i got was preety uninspirational roguelite. I was realising i'm losing time with this, uninstaled it and started something else. Overall - Good theme and a really, really bad game..
I expected more from this game. I beat it on co-op with my friend, and it was ok. Levels are usually the same thing over and over - Go there, kill the enemies, take that artifact, go back, take another mission, take the artifact and rinse and repeat. The jokes and voice acting are good, the game has unnecesary too much weapon and character upgrades. Too much artifacts, perks and everything that it looks too much confusing. Overall, mediocre game.
Not much better that the Rise of The Tomb Raider, but it is preety good. Main story is worth playing, i like the scary parts of the game, especially towards the end. Graphics are medium, but the nature, caves, lakes etc are looking nice. I alse beat all the side missions, challenge tombs, which are really fun and didn't looked like some grinding.Overall, the game is not perfect, but in this sea of trash games and microtransactions, this game is good choice for the people who live good single player story driven game..
Great character, good jokes and worth every minute of playtrough. Shame that i played the censored version, but it was stiil awesome. Definitely i am reccomending to the fans of the series.
I thought this game will be repetitive and boring, but no. It has a nice campaign and it is not as bad as i thought it will be. Now in 2022 you can buy it cheap, so it's worth it...
I am a fan of MK since i was a kid. This is a game that perfectly presents the old characters. Half of the new charatcers are cool, and half aren't. But this is maybe the best MK game up to date.
When the cover of the game is cringy, what do you expect? I mean,it has a few good missions and set pieces, but overall, the story is bland and forgettable. They tried for the game to look cool, but they didn't succeed.
Facial animations are stiil the best, even in 2022. A nice detective story and the missions are very interesting. The ending is a big dissapointement for me,i expected more..
For me,this is the best zombie game ever. Rich game, stunning visuals, nice story. The thing i need to especially compliment is the MUSIC. Both in the original and in The Following, music is one of the best gaming tracks ever. Worth your money.
Don't tell what others say to you, the graphics aren't the only good stuff here. The theme, the atmosphere, the clashes with the werewolves are very good. Unique game, a little bit underrated.
