Hogwarts Legacy5
Jun 21, 2023
A game with fun combat and great art direction and attention to detail (especially within Hogwarts), held back by a generic open world and a bland story. It may be a must-play for Harry Potter fans, but just don't go in expecting too much.

Have a Nice Death4
Jun 21, 2023
A really fun concept and awesome art style, but the constant frame drops on switch and some poor gameplay and balancing decisions make this game a not so pleasing experience. Still, it can be really fun sometimes.

Lost in Random6

Overlooking some gameplay and performance shortcomings (and some bugs), this game has a really fun and engaging story and atmosphere. It's not for everyone, but if you are a **** for indie gems this is a good pick.

Diablo IV7
Jun 12, 2023
Diablo IV part ways with the endless demon killing of the previous titles and delivers a more focused RPG experience, with sidequests and dialogues akin to those of The Elder Scrolls games (though nowhere as deep or entertaining). I enjoyed the gameplay and skill tree, but the story and the open world didn't quite stick the landing for me, which is really sad because I think this is the right direction for the franchise, just not the right execution. Diablo IV is not a bad game, but it is a weak entry for the Diablo franchise.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse9
May 26, 2023
The only real problem that I have with this game is that the controls are really bad and take a lot of time to get used to, and that's about it. The story, the characters and the atmosphere are really good, while the combat and the upgrade system are just okay. Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse doesn't rival its predecessors, but it is a damn good game.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom8
May 22, 2023
It's essentially BOTW all over again, with new and better gameplay mechanics, but the same issues and some reused map and enemies. For every new thing added, there's an old thing coming back, which makes TOTK a better and bigger game than BOTW, but kind of disappointing for a $70 sequel. Still, the story is better, the open world is richer, and overall the gameplay is much more interesting and engaging (the new abilities are much more fun than BOTW's). If you've never played a zelda game, Tears of the Kingdom is a really good entry point, but I expected more from a sequel to 2017's GOTY, and this game got me thinking that maybe Nintendo should abandon the open world trend and make The Legend of Zelda linear again.

Dead Space9
May 15, 2023
I'm not very good with horror games, or horror media in general, and Dead Space Remake is, in fact, too scary for me. The atmosphere that this game instantly builds up is unmatched, and i was trembling with fear every single minute. With that aside, everything about the gameplay is excellent.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice10
May 15, 2023
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has a good story, great cast of characters, solid level and art design, a not so good performance on last gen consoles (30 fps with drops) and the best gameplay in the history of videogames. The combat of this game alone makes it a masterpiece.

Xenoblade Chronicles 39
May 12, 2023
I never really liked the combat gameplay of the Xenoblade franchise, it's just not for me I guess. Does the characters and the story in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 make up for it? ABSOLUTELY YES! This is a great game.

Persona 4 Golden10
May 12, 2023
If you never played a JRPG or any turn-based game at all, this is the one to start with. A masterpiece in every sense, maybe even better than Persona 5 Royal (which was my favorite game for a long time).

Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo10

Although the peak of it's gameplay is in it's prologue, Paranormasight offers a intriguing mystery/horror story, with a well-written cast and beautiful art direction.
