My 2nd favourite in the Arkham series. Loved the improved traversal and the batmobile was a solid addition to gameplay. The game looks beautiful and the combat is the most fluid it's ever been. The story was an absolute rollercoaster that I was enthralled in, really enjoyed the horror/jumpscare elements too. Only thing I can ding it for is the insufferable riddler trophies, weak dlc's and the woeful community challenges. Also the game crashed multiple, multiple times which was such a drag considering it takes +2mins to get back into the game thanks to unskippable logos. At it's core, it's a great game.

Didn't expect to enjoy this game as much as I really engaged with the story and it's characters. Sure it's a typical rags to riches mafioso story and that can only end one way, but I still found it to be surprisingly heartfelt. The whole world is a beautiful vista that was a joy to explore and I thought the boss fights was a good inclusion as well. Figghi Buttana!!!!

Such a solid and nerve wracking game. Graphics, Design, Gameplay, Sound and Acting are all incredible, bar all of the Raccoon City segment. I loved the dichotomy between playstyles with Grace and Leon and it was implemented really well. Just wish I could've gotten more segments to play as Grace. Really enjoyed my time with this game but could've been made better with making the orphanage section skippable on ng+, not falling into familiar story beats and not going in the direction they did with Zeno's character.

Quite a fun yet brief retelling of the events from T2. Combat and Art are a standout as well as the differentiating timelines choices you can make. However the game requires multiple playthroughs to attain 100% and it becomes such a repetitive slog, especially when no death runs can easily implode during the Asylum or even in the later Steel Mill levels.

Christ this game was tedious. Drastically disappointing compared to Arkham Asylum. Navigating the open world is super clunky, awkward and the fluidity of combat has been completely butchered. The game has no respect for your time either, it has 400 riddler collectibles plus those abysmal cookie cutter predator missions. Its main campaign is also a waste of time as it ends with a very anti-climactic whimper. Some positives are the many different costumes you can equip, although they won't play during the cinematics. And I liked how Catwoman's story was interwoven with the main campaign. Overall it's just not worth your time.

Had an absolute blast with this. Pretty much just an expansion from Rogue City but I feel the combat is more refine and there's a lot more action and shoot outs at the expense of the semi-open world exploration. Levels are streamlined and fairly linear but I think that work's in the game's favour. It opens with a fairly dark tone that unfortunately is never recaptured but I really like the flashback sequences when you play as Murphy before the incident. There's still a lot of charm to this game and I'd highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you liked Rogue City. Just wish there was a bit more of Lewis.

Really good and atmospheric horror game. Having never played any of the other games, I was surprised how embracing this game was to new players. Good story, sound design, and performances. Combat is really fun, especially the melee element. My only gripes are most human character models are awkward looking and hard on the eyes. What really tanked my experience was the ending I got. Because, unbeknownst to me, I made a decision earlier in the game that effected the game's ending and that ended up being the Water ending. It annoyed me because all the fear and horror I had to endure and will to survive as a player was all in vain because I used a certain key item instead of another. Absolute BS. I will say this game was fun to speedrun and the extra endings in ng+ are hilarious.

This game's existence is entirely pointless. Plot takes place in a different and very wacky "timeline". Gameplay is sluggish and rigid and the checkpoint system is certainly your worst enemy in the game. Checkpoints are few and far between and if you die, any special weapon, first aid sprays, grenades all get wiped back to the og loadout. Frustrating to say the least, but definitely not the worst and more bearable when you're playing with friends.

Nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Environments are absolutely gorgeous, traversing is fun and combat is great. However the story is generic and weak and I feel that's the game's biggest downfall. The compass/quest marker is definitely a hindrance on trying to figure out where you're meant to go. Dialogue in this game is by far the cringiest thing I've come across, so much so that it makes any MCU movie look like a Shakespearean play.

This game is camp, undercooked and often confusing but I enjoyed my time with it. This is pretty much the "we have Resident Evil at home" materialised. It possesses elements from Evil Within also. Ranged combat is chaotic and janky. You're better off just sticking to Melee when you can. Performances are bland and deadpan but combined with campy quirky writing, it makes entertaining. Couldn't tell you what the story is really about as it's often confusing and ambiguous. It's a missed opportunity to have Edward and Emily's story overlap or even experienced from a different vantage point rather as opposed to just wiping the slate clean on each playthrough. Cutscenes have this weird shimmering/arricfacting effect that's often distracting. Other frustrating moments include character placement when climbing surfaces would often lock you in place and would have to frustratingly restart from the last checkpoint. If you decide to play this game PLAY ON PERFORMANCE MODE, the difference is night and day. Plus, who wants to see PS3-esque graphics in 4k?

A nice, short and fun Uncharted adventure that gives side characters their time in the spotlight. Although it borrows a lot from the previous Uncharted entries, it's unique enough that it stands on its own. Transitions from cutscenes to gameplay were really good and blurred the lines when control was handed back to me nine times out of ten. Unfortunately Lost Legacy suffers a lot from Marvel dialogue and is made worse with the fact Chloe loves to yap about nothing. Although in game dialogue is cringe and eye rolling, cutscenes are better written and comes off as charming and endearing.

Pretty mid game ngl. For a AAA game this is probably one of the worst I've played for many reasons. Navigation is so annoying, first off using fast travel as a consumable item and locking the "call mount" feature behind a skill tree is frustrating, comparing it to RDR1 where both are free to use straight out of the gate. The mount's movement is awful and slow too. It's an absolute trek for your Mount to try and adjust/jump to a slightly elevated surface. Speaking of jumping, the repetitive slow motion jumping effect was irritating. Climbing and jumping is janky and nonintuitive. Checkpoints are too infrequent, lost a good amount of progress due to autosaving being so in and far between. Also is there a reason why you can't equip a main, side and errand quest at the same time? Cutscene's are really hard to look at due to how poorly animated they are and sometimes out of sync with the audio and stuttering like crazy. The story and characters are pretty poorly written. The only character that was interesting was Sylens. The amount of times Aloy would just constantly YAP is infuriating. You couldn't take two steps in this overinflated world without her making some comment. All that being said the Combat was satisfying and rewarding, similar to Monster Hunter but better. Despite the majority of characters being poorly written, performances are a silver lining that almost negate the bad dialogue. The Frozen Wilds DLC was a huge improvement overall and was a great expansion.

Simply an amazing game. While it doesn't live up to the first game, there's a lot that Part II does to innovate and improve upon the previous entry. I really like how the Part II humanises the enemies in the game and that it's not just a massacre of generic grunts. This is also emphasised when you kill an enemy, one of their comrades will shout their name is despair, which is such a lovely touch. Speaking of details, the environments are absolutely stellar. Overgrown vegetation, buildings and combat areas are amazingly designed and are often dense and detailed. Genuinely so many awe inspiring moments, the Devs really deserve all the praise they get. I've never seen a game look so good. The story is gut wrenching. While I think the overall narrative is quite weak and ultimately nonsensical, the characters however are incredibly well written and I was emotionally invested in every main character. Every companion that accompanies you never feels like a nuisance or, more importantly, doesn't constantly yap or tell you where to go. I ended up really liking Abby's character the most. Very strong character (literally) and definitely had the best parts in the game (the hotel, the hospital, the island) and her relationship with Lev is also very endearing. Performances from all the cast are incredible. The amount of range these actors display for this game is almost god-like. Combat is much better than the first and really like how varied it is. I appreciate the lack of yellow/white paint and hand holding of the player's hand in general. Platforming/Traversal is good but the jumping mechanic is janky af. Deaths and jumps scares really come out of nowhere which really made me feel uneasy and tense. Also props to the Devs for the inclusion of various accessibility options. The new No Return mode is a fun and varied roguelike mode. Sank a good few hours playing this and enjoyed every minute of it. Great idea including characters from Part I also. Load times were also severely improved thank god. Minor nit picks include, structure collapse ex-machina, Owen and Mel being such weak and annoying characters.

A really polished, fluid and finessed experience. Combat is fun, environments are well designed, voice acting is phenomenal and is a absolute solid game. However, I think the game really drained me with its grindy optional content. I'm aware it was my choice to engage with it but it could've been better designed. Fast travel is annoying and awkward to use and also the amount of times I rolled my eyes every time Atreus opened his yappy mouth...genuinely never felt more embittered with a character in a game. Ending on a positive note, the Valkyrie Queen boss was the most challenging and yet most cathartic boss I've defeated in recent memory.

Played it when it first came and wasn't really impressed. Came back to it in January 2025 and really liked the gameplay, the card system and the difficulty being rebalanced made my time much more enjoyable. The Hives a really fun addition and a guaranteed way to get good loot. However, despite being a spiritual successor there's so many qualities this game lacks. Atmosphere, memorable level design, characters and story. Now there wasn't much story in other renditions of this game but enough for you to engage with. I couldn't name a single area in B4B but yet tell you each campaign and each sub-chapter in L4D. Alot of this game is very forgettable unfortunabtelt However, it's still very fun to play (with friends preferably, alone is very mundane) and gameplay is fluid. The card system and the random NPC's that get assigned to your team will always make each undergoing that more varied and interesting. It is a pity that there isn't an option to disable the Hives choose your Bots when creating a run.

Perfect, down to the last minute detail. The unique blend of a multitude of media variants seamlessly together to form an eerie, supernatural horror game where reality distorts and reinvents itself forcing you to never trust anything except your flashlight. The music absolutely slaps and "We Sing" was the most special, unique and entrancing parts **** I've ever played and had me playing the Game's Soundtrack on loop well before I even completed the game. The voice acting, the live action acting/performances, the story and each character are the most captivating and impressive that I've experienced in a video game. Alan Wake, Saga Anderson, Casey Jones, Mr. Door and even Tim Breaker are an amazing ensemble and feel so real and fleshed out. Genuinely this game is so special, I love the passion, creativity and hard work that went into the making of this game. The fact they squeezed the whole game and Night Springs onto one disc is a testament to Remedy's compassion for the people who still buy Physical. The only nit-pick I could say against this game is that the ending was an absolute let down. Regardless, enjoyed every minute of this experience. Thank you Remedy and thank you Sam Lake.

Fun but underwhelming game. Story has an interesting premise to begin with, however it quickly becomes lacklustre as the game went on. Crafting is fun and the skill tree is really intricate and diverse so you can invest points that suit your play style however the game's visuals are an eyesore. Companions are almost a necessity just how bleak, plain and empty the world looks and feels. Far Harbour is the more interesting of the DLC's. Good, self contained adventure with an interesting setting. Nuka Cola DLC is the complete opposite. Horrific quests, boring premise and very unlikeable characters, and annoying grindy trophies/achievements. The worst part is that this DLC practically forces you to be evil and have quests that bleed into and ultimately ruin relationships and settlements you've previously established in the Commonwealth. Just overall the DLC is a pain and is best left off to the end. It was nice to play this game with a steady framerate of 60fps that lasted for about 5 minutes. Constant stuttering, especially in denser areas. I'm aware this is an 8 year old game made on an even older game engine, but honestly the whole game is forgettable and undercooked at best.

This game isn't all that bad but it's far from perfect. This game severely suffers in the polish department. Far away characters have this weird shimmering effect, eyes on character models are poorly animated and honestly creepy, the final scene of the game is rendered at a resolution so low it could be mistaken for a PS1 game. The PS4 version, there's this weird, horrible and distracting white border that sporadically pops around the edge of the screen from time to time. Performance is a nightmare as it frequently crashes, causes sequence breaking glitches (mostly on the PS4 version) and framerates take an absolute nosedive whenever there's a action/chase sequence happening. However, the overall vibe and effort of the game is good. There's a nice mystery, point-and-click-esque style that's executed well. Disappointed that there was no combat sequences but hopefully, if The Blue Lotus gets made, that will be rectified. If you have the option to play PS4 or the PS5 version would strongly recommend the PS5 variant. Big Tintin fan so maybe generous with the score.

Poorly made game with horrendous, childish, MCU-like writing it felt like this game was made for kids. It's overwhelming from the get-go and poorly paced throughout. The premise is interesting, but never utilises its potential. Dialogue is corny and ham fisted and doesn't feel engaging nor stimulating. Animations and character models and so janky and unpolished it's laughably bad. THE MOST egregious thing this game does is by wasting your time even further with load screens after load screens. It's horrific optimisation results in things like waiting a minute or two to access the main menu, another minute to load into the game itself and roughly 7-15 seconds to open a door that leads into any main area. There some positives however, such as gameplay is genuinely fun. There's a lot customisation that you can swap up your playstyle on the fly, which makes for interesting outcomes when you factor in the Biotic and Tech combos. The Strike Team missions are low stakes fun also. This game would be somewhat tolerable had it been its own IP. However, since it's tied to the Mass Effect franchise there's an enormous expectation on quality that this game simply does not have. As a new fan to the series I thought people where just exaggerating how bad this game truly was, sadly they were not wrong. An absolute far cry from what the first three games accomplished and what impact they had.

The writing made me feel so apart of the world the game was set in while the gameplay convinced me I was an OP super commander/soldier. Every planet I landed on or every action set piece I experienced was so intricately designed that these games never got boring and always had me on the edge of my seat.

A massive leap forward yet stumbling back at the same time. A worthy and fun sequel to Jedi Fallen Order expanding on traversal, combat and overall world building. There's so much life and care put into this game. Planets/Areas/Biomes are beautifully crafted and how the game allows you to explore these areas. Characters are fleshed out a lot more and performances are really impressive. The story is very mature and goes places that Respawn portrayed and crafted beautifully. However, while this game deserves a huger score, the performance of this game is absolutely dire. Clearly not optimised, this game runs at a fluctuating, stuttering and sluggish pace, regardless of what mode you set it to. Screen tearing and texture pop-ins were constantly visible thoroughout my playthough despite going through multiple patches. Hopefully this game will eventually fix all of it's issues and learn not to repeat them next time. Literally the only negative about the game.

The few things that bogged it down was the somewhat frequent frame drops and glitches, specifically when loot/weapons would clip through the floor making it unobtainable which is infuriating. There's plenty to do in Night City with many quests and sides gigs to do to keep you occupied. The side gigs are quite repetitive and monotonous and offer nothing expect a means to level up your character. However, level design, voice acting and just general vibe of the game is its saving grace for me. Truly unique, fun to play just the odd spanner in the works that sets it back to be something more rememberable.

Left Behind: A short but sweet extension of the game that's, once again, incredibly written and is a joy to play. Multiplayer: A nice spin on the MP element regarding how well you perform in matches and life or death events that makes things extra spicy. Matchmaking is piss poor, respawn times are a drag and hit box detection seems to be 50/50 at times.

A fun Guitar Hero / DDR inspired game with a massive catalogue of Avicii's songs. Wasn't really a fan of his until I played this game. Only negative thing I can say about this game is that it's responsiveness is at times awful, especially when you're trying to build up your perfect note streak.

A truly fun well made zombie game. Gameplay is very responsive and rewarding especially when you're fully upgraded. The PS5 performance makes the framerate buttery smooth and enhances the already beautiful environments. Co-Op is implemented seamlessly and the more in your game the more fun it is. I've played this game to it's completion twice and every part of it never failed to entertain me. DLC is also a hoot too.

A captivating 2.5D side scrolling game with a unique style and story. It's pretty much a walking sim but the colourful immersive world makes up for it. Beautiful game with a lot of heart.

A stylish indie game with a interconnected narrative split across multiple playthroughs. Energy and Money are vital and clever mechanics however I think the whole hitchhiking element was underutilised and wasn't used it to its potential.

A slow bland 30 minute walking simulator P.T clone that tries to cram in a story in the dying seconds of the game.
