Story could have been so much more but seems to focus too much on "evil slavery". Like sure there were slaves and it was bad but I'm not here to watch a documentary. Not emotional enough, maybe due to the writing it just bad direction. Something I will forget quickly.

This movie is basically a series of jump scares but I think it's done so well. Solid cast really makes the movie. Could've easily been a disappointment.

One of the best movies of the year. The director knows how to tell a story. Long but worth it. Must see.

Engaging, suspenseful and an original story. Ias a horror movie buff, I recommend it to anyone interested in the genre.

Although initially fun to watch 10 year olds using foul language and playing with sex toys, it ultimately gets over used and boring. That's when you realize this movie doesn't really have a point.

Definitely recommended. You can tell where this movie is going from the trailers but it is fun to watch it all unfold. Weaving is marvelous in this role and it's fun to watch her arc. Sort of a surprise ending. Good times.

Very long movie but did not feel like it. The individual involved in casting these actors did a marvelous job and needs to be commended. They carry the movie which itself had a thin plot. It was a great ride.

Great acting but I feel the talent goes to waste. Some story lines never get resolved. The ending was not rewarding for me. So much potential but was ultimately a let down for me.

Lots of action. Thin plot but I'm a **** for X-Men movies. This would rank somewhere in the middle for me.

Samuel Jackson at his finest. Hilarious with a good bit if action. He's getting old, but he improved with age.

if you liked the trailer, you'll like the movie. Captain Marvel seems very stiff as a character. They explain this in the movie but it just seems very off putting the way it plays out. The 5 rating I gave this movie is because of Samuel Jackson, Ben Mendelson and the cat. Starts slow but definitely picks up midway through the movie. Worst MCU movie but all the others were fantastic so it's easy to stray.
