An enjoyable film with a rare behind the scenes look opportunity into the most versatile, talented, stylish, and physically attractive First Lady of all time. A real treat.

Let me start off by saying this is one of the best comic book movies I have ever seen. And I want to see a sequel. The opening song and fighting sequence to start out the movie is absolutely the best I have ever seen. The fact that Deadpool is doing dance moves in a fighting sequence is a plus, and the whole creative sequence with the hacky sack move then to the nunchuck move, then back to the dance move, it's impressive, entertaining and hilarious. The tone of the movie, very important, is accurate to the comic books. The use of music was 10 out of 10, a complete choir mix for a well-known pop song is very cinematic. The slow-mo sequences are very impressive. And now on to the characters, the actors for Deadpool and Wolverine are so great and do the story justice. And you can’t really beat Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine, one of my favorite characters. I think this is his best Wolverine performance yet, he's getting better with age, and the audience can really see the amount of emotional range Hugh Jackman has in this movie, it's just phenomenal. Yes it's a simple plot, a buddy buddy movie, but the execution is flawless. So from a fan’s perspective I give this a full 10 out of 10.

This may be the best film I have seen this year. A film that is good for viewing multiple times for the many great moments and a soundtrack that delivers in those moments. Zach Levi delivers a heartwarming film in the Inspirational True Story category; telling the story of Kurt Warner's rise to football glory in the Rams Super Bowl win. The directing duo the Erwin Brothers directed a proverbial movie touchdown, complete with blue anamorphic lens flares (shot on anamorphic). I also liked their other inspirational sports film titled Woodlawn with the star of Rudy, Sean Astin. American Underdog is the hero's journey of football, to go from grocery store bagger after graduating college to NFL MVP. The portrayal of Hyvee supermarket was accurate, I can attest from living in Iowa. I can imagine Kurt Warner throwing a supermarket item for a superbowl touchdown. What a treat his co-workers must have had to see him toss things on the shelf, of course gently. Practice makes perfect as they say. What's incredible is that this story is all true. As The Great Han Solo would say "It's true, All of it." The casting of characters was terrific! There are many standouts, the blind son is one of them in an absolutely brilliant performance! Also very good were a couple standout scenes where a character may be facing difficulty and looking for mentorship, and the scene where Kurt throws an interception and the Coach Mike Martz portrayed by Chance Kelly delivers in my opinion the performance of a lifetime. The coach gets on the phone and tells Kurt that he knows he was ready to be quarterback, and he pushed him and challenged him because he had to know. And he said "you are ready". A nice touch to the film is the directors also mixed in some real video at the end of the Super Bowl win, and Kurt Warner's NFL Hall of Fame induction where Kurt points up with both hands and says "Thankyou Jesus." I give it 10 out of 10 stars, a very moving film.

Honestly, I didn’t mean to rent this film and wanted to rent the film Gringo also starring Charlize Theron and got confused and ended up with this one. Gringo is a comedy, Tully is not. In fact, it's kind of depressing, so that was annoying. Anyway, it's pretty good if you want to see a Mother played by Charlize Theron struggle with the pain of breastfeeding and have to go to extreme measures to relieve it thanks to a midwife character played by Mackenzie Davis (Tully) that comes to her rescue. I’m not sure Charlize wore a fat suit for this or had a great stunt double likely for some parts but the pregnant suit looks phenomenal! Another interesting scene is when she is carrying that extra weight from being preggers, she decides to have a foot race with a woman in booty shorts and hyperventilates, another strange but believable pregnant woman moment. She has a bad day and the struggle is real as the kids say. Overall it's more like an arthouse film for the slice of life Sundance style depressing story but a good story.

An Animation film you have to see. Great story first and foremost, but it also has unique Animation techniques blending different styles for interesting aesthetics that other animation movies just don’t do. Overall I give it 9 out of 10 for a unique animation experience. I will probably see it in 3D next time.

Alita is a great movie. I expect nothing less from John Landau and James Cameron to create a real visual experience which they accomplished. The visual effects were absolutely amazing and did the subject matter justice. Amazing Visuals and great soundtrack really brought you into the world of Alita Battle Angel. Mixing live action characters with CG is usually very difficult for example the Star Wars Prequels, but this is very well done. Jennifer Connelly played the role of smug villain very well and there are many other great complimentary characters in the film.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

When Marvel made Buzz Aldrin an honorary member of the Guardians of the Galaxy and gave him an Infiniti Gauntlet you know the marketing team for Guardians of the Galaxy means business! And good for them because it was a great movie and made big business at the box office. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was better than Guardians 1 and I’ll list the reasons why because it is seldom where a sequel outperforms its predecessor. One thing was the soundtrack was fun! It fit the movie, and it was amazing. Fun tracks like “Come a Little Bit Closer” had me tappin my foot to the awesome mix. Baby Groot also makes this movie. Baby Groot is funner than Big Boy Groot. Also cuter and I’m sure the merchandising is cashing in on this aspect. Give me a hero who appears weak and powerless yet can get the job done in fun way. And that’s exactly what Baby Groot represents. I watched Guardians 2 in the theatre and I knew it was a good movie at the end. Right after they started rolling the credits we were leaving and I saw a woman near the front who was an obvious comicbook fan who was crying, and she was talking with her friends and I heard her say “that was a great movie.” It's great when fans are moved to tears because they love a movie. And I’d have to agree with her. 10 out of 10.

This is just a great film in almost every aspect of filmmaking. The script, superb. The story, impeccable. If Natalie Portman is going to shave her head for the movie you know it is going to be good, and trust me, it is. The character journey of V is magnificent. One of the best comic-book movies of all time. The Cinematography couldn’t be better, A+. In conclusion, the finished product is outstanding. 10 out of 10.

Paddington 2 is the type of feel-good movie that you put in if you’re having a bad day, have some warm soup and some comfort food cause this film delivers heart-warming like nobody else’s business! It kinda makes you feel warm inside to see that a domesticated bear can make best friends with prison inmates using a marmalade sandwich and save the day at the same time. Never count out a determined yet cuddly bear with a red hat. 5 out of 5 stars. Amazing. The storytelling really makes you think Houdini himself wrote the script. I mean Houdini wasn’t a screenwriter (that we know of) but if he was, he could have written something like Paddington 2 cause it was ‘magical’. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m off to make a marmalade sandwich.

The movie reminded me of visual effects in the Final Destination movies with high-end camera moves, snazzy Computer Graphics and felt like a great blockbuster experience. I kind of imagine this eventually being made into a theme park ride at Universal Studios. All Aboard for Commuter! The characters were cast really well and I like the surprise twist at the end. Overall the movie somewhat reminded me of a trip I took from NY to DC on a commuter train. I remember buying an NY style pizza at the station similar to the one in the movie and it was delicious. 5 stars. Liam Neeson performs impeccably as a no-nonsense problem-solving genius and he is the hero every train deserves.

When Hugh Jackman kisses a bearded lady you know one of either 2 things, A) he is a madman; or, B) you’re watching the greatest movie about a showman, which would be ‘The Greatest Showman’. Thank goodness it was the latter, and the film ended up to be quite good, dare I say even great. The Greatest Showman is definitely a feel good movie, where Jackman’s character takes a quick trip to the island of misfit toys to show the world that they can put on a show. And they do so, so 9 out of 10 stars. I do believe this film will find its audience even tho so far it has failed at the boxoffice with such competition as Last Jedi and Jumanji during the holiday season releases. It's a great feel good movie for the holidays that only a fog machine, a spotlight and a man with a dream can deliver.

This is the gold standard of Batman reboots. Christopher Nolan's magnum opus. Inception and Interstellar were, in fact, child's play compared to this. It is a subtle victory when a film brings you on a satisfying character journey. If you’re looking for a great superhero film then look no further than what is directly in front of you. Maybe my favorite superhero film. Stellar filmmaking execution at its finest. Batman's actions speak louder than words and this film speaks at 24 frames per second.
