This is not your traditional Gof of War. You are not always in control of Kratos. Just think of Sony making God of War like they did with Last of Us 2 playing Abby. Not invested in Abby or Atreus, too bad you will be forced to play the character. The story is actually less adult oriented and more in line with teens. Its still a decent game but I would wait for a sale. Its the weakest story wise of all the God of Wars imo.

Spending money on next gen hardware? Do you like 30 frames per second so this can run on the series S that will hold gaming back for another 10 years thanks to Microsoft's terrible decision process of making a cheap version of its console with obsolete hardware? Once again a game released with game breaking bugs. Do you like not advancing in a game due to a bug? if so, this is for you. Yeah this game can be a 8 or even higher with more content and game breaking bugs removed. And yes they get a 0 for taking peoples money when they KNEW it was broken. This practice will destroy the gaming industry if they do not stop releasing broken games.

The open world is not good at all. Its boring and feels like a chore while graphics are subpar due to from software not being talented enough to optimize games. And thats a fact. Its a decent little game. I wasnt expecting much going into it and found myself just smiling with the play-style. Its decent but more for a younger crowd. Doesn't mean you cant have a smile and enjoy your time with this game. Give it a shot especially if you have gamepass.

Anyone writing a good review for this game is either an EA shill or a little tardy. Save your money people and do not buy this.

This game has potential but just hasn't met it yet. Do I think it ****. This game has some fun moments but it gets very old and stale fast. It has net code issues, matchmaking issues and I am seeing bots in lobbies which tells me its dying already. The game just is boring after about 5 hours. You did everything and with netcode/hit detection issues, good luck playing against Juan and trying to time hits. Just not a great game. I wouldnt even buy it on sale because its likely you will be playing against Bots not real people by that time. This is a $20 game.
