Pros: map design is good, always have something to trigger exploration, storyline is okay
Cons: not free enough, material collection can be repetitive, skills not strong and interesting enough
Pros: swinging, graphics, abilities
Cons: I really don't like the design that you have to beat a boss 3-4 times to finish a battle. It feels like there should have been a cleverer design in some way. The battels with minions can also become repetitive pretty quickly.
It doesn't take long to complete a playthrough. Mine took about 5 hours (without completing all quests). The mechanism of distributing different dices to complete actions is pretty interesting.
A truly great game. I spent over 200 hours on it and completed lots of the side quests. None of them felt repetitive. The ending is also memorable. I just wish there could be more reference to prior games.
pros: graphics, art, music, good supporting characters cons: combat not interesting enough, the two main characters seriously lack personality and development
Mechanism and gameplay is about the same as prior games, not too many innovations. Storyline and characters could have been done better. I really hate that it has to be connected to server all the time though. I don’t usually close games, but just pause and put them in background. With this game requires being online, every time when I try to reopen, it keeps taking a moment to log me back to server, and sometimes send my character to an unexpected location as I restart.
Customizing light saber is fun, part of the combating is fun. Unfortunately there are too many small bugs and they can make me feel disengaged at times. I have seen enemies walking into wall/ground, running without moving, Cal's hair and backpack parts flying for no reason, and Merrin kissing Cal's eyes in cut **** list can keep going on
When you could combine perfect combating design with good storytelling, this is what you can get. Such a enjoyable game to play through. I think the story here gives most of the characters more depth and complete arcs. If you have already liked them before, this game will make you like them even more.
Pros: successfully made an immersive magic world. As a HP fan, it was enjoyable playing in the world that used to exist in the books and movies. Cons: combat gets repetitive, enemy variety is limited, many of them are just the same enemies with different costumes (feels like one of those Ubisoft 3A games)
combat is innovative and fun as it added rhythm game playing into the action game fighting. Other than this, it was hard for me to find another place the game did exceptional - storyline is boring and predictable, main characters lack depth, platform design just okay
This game is innovative, full of imagination, full of childhood memories, and definitely special. The only drawback - really not fun to play, pace is very slow, and it is a pain to use mouse and keyboard to play on PC, it doesn't even have an exit game option
It tells a touching story. Graphics and music also very enjoyable. You will experience several mysteries and twists during the playthrough, but at the end you will understand the background and full picture. It is not a perfect game. "Combat" part can be glitchy at times and during some chapters you can feel the pace was unnecessarily slowed down. However, its storyline ultimately is appealing enough to make the shortcomings tolerable. I hope we see more games like this.
A very good interactive novel game. Your choices determine the ending, and very likely you won't be able to make all the right choices in one playthrough. The story is deep and makes you think, especially after knowing the truth at the ending.
Graphic is pretty good, gameplay not so much. More could have been done to make it more fun to play. To me, the biggest problem is the story didn’t resonate with me that much.
This game is so good. You can see so much creativity in the developers' minds in each of the levels. Surprisingly it also has a good storyline. It is straight up one of the best platform exploration games.
The world is interesting but the graph was not as good as I hoped for, especially the build of the cat. I also definitely did not sign up for dealing with those annoying small creatures when bought the game.
What feels fun at first becomes repetitive after about 10 hours, with intense pressure of do limited resource management. Some may think this is the appeal of the game, but to me it brings more stress than fun
It is so fun! The best part is playing with other players as team! It immediately brought back my childhood memory of playing the TMNT games when I was young.
I really hate the design that doesn't allow you to save and load, also doesn't allow you to revert action during a battle. It generates a hard learning curve for new players. Many times it could just a be mis-click or mistake due to being new to the rules, that could entirely impact the battle outcome, and the you would basically be forced to abandon it and start over.
To me this is a game that falls between 7.5-8 range. Not a big fan of the art style, but I love the deckbuilding and card combat. The lores and plots are also pretty different and interesting.
The team tactic fighting part is the highlight of the game, but the strategy part of the game is just badly designed. War becomes a card game, many tasks become repetitive and time wasting, not to mention computer is set to attack you every time when you pacify a region. The long time wasted doing those big map quests eventually worn my patience out.
The game is intriguing. It is mostly made up of texts, but I couldn't help keep playing it. They made the choices really matter. I just wish they make it easier and rewind choices after each true death.
I played the campaign mode, and felt it was really just **** is playable, but I couldn't find something that I could pick out and say it did better than other major FPS games in the market. Additionally I really don't understand why mater chief never thought about brining on extra ammo when he went out for missions...
There are things I like and dislike about this game. I love how it made the D&D rules integrated into CRPG so well and the fighting was fun. However, my biggest issue is how unbalanced they have designed the spells to be. Many foes have ridiculously high resistance to spells, making your magic-heavy characters basically useless specially during the early stage of game; on the other hand, there are some spells the foes initiate that can last on your characters for 10 minutes, with ridiculously high threshold to dispel...
The art and music are so good, which stressed more about how weak the storyline is. Many plots just doesn't make sense. Combat also isn't much fun either.
I love the graphic, storyline, characters and scripts design, oh and of course the music too! Everything just feels so on point. Ironically combat became the comparatively least interesting part of the game.
There is basically no new player guide within the game, after nearly 2 hours into the game I still couldn't understand how the battle, deck buildings work. Also it just feels so much like a mobile game instead of a PC game.
It tells an interesting story, shows loveable characters, and it is immersive. The game didn't really provide a huge space for player to explore, yet I did enjoy every corner that was displayed in the game. I think it was an enjoyable 10 hour interactive story experience.
Good graphic, gameplay and atmosphere for a game at this scale. It is like card game combined with dark soul art and rogue-like style. Storyline could have been done better.
I enjoyed the deck building and card playing in the game, also appreciated the various different characters available for choose, with each having completely different playstyle. Graphic and effect are not good, stories and be repetitive after a few rounds, but overall it is an enjoyable game.
