Bought it day one as i loved the first game, and while its definetly enjoyable to an extend, the controls are absolutely awful. Why not just use the same controls as Dark Moon had ?

Fantasian7
Dec 29, 2021
Fantasian is one of the best jrpg's ive played in years, which is not saying too much since i havent enjoyed barely any jrpg post 2010 or so. But i've had so much fun with this game and i wish i could rate it higher. Pros: -Fun exploration and so much to do, Part 2 is amazing. -Many side quests, upgrades and bunch of customizations for many characters -Its very long and to me thats a good thing when its done with quality. -Has a very classic rpg feel to it with many surprises. -Challenging game that makes you think, i love many aspects of the strategies you have to figure out and you really have to think and its so much fun to have a good strategy be successful in a boss fight. I mean you better because there's not too much else this game offers but the battles. -Amazing and rewarding battle system that really opens up after 25 hours. -Environment and graphics are really well done. Cons: - Missions not displaying the appropriate level, easy to be stuck for hours on a lv50 mission while even being on lv55, doesnt matter sometimes, its very random -Instead of 40 challenging bosses you have 4000 mandatory crazy **** game is so hard that i dont think i wanna bring myself to play it ever again, and i love difficult games. - No respecter of my time - Whole game is an endless random encounter which leads to the boss fight and every boss drags on for so long and after 30min he has that tedious killmove and you think "Ah i shouldve brought that item or changed to that skill in the grid" Which is fine if the battle isnt so insanely long and you learn it always at the end of the fight. I feel like many of those bosses should be optional but they are 90% mandatory, even the "sidequests" which many are actually mandatory in order to open some gate etc. -Its only on apple and it crashes sometimes, also saves are stored on Apple, i hope if add it on different consoles there will be cloud save transfer. So much time investment and i heard people lose their saves because Apple is unstable save cloud wise. -The characters and story is really, really bad - I mean the characters themselves are pretty cool but they have zero chemistry and they dont really interact with each other. -Sakaguchi made Final Fantasy and having a typical anime story with a boy surrounded by 2 girls that are obsessed with him was disappointing to say the least but it wasnt terrible, i just expected way more because his stories are my favorite of all time. -I wish the game had more towns instead of grinding places. Conclusion: All in all having Uematsu and Sakaguchi finally joining forces again is amazing and i've been loving the game, the musical score is good, nothing crazy compared to Nobou's FF masterpieces but still pretty good. I love the surprises in this game and the creativity that the game exudes, its rare for a game to be this exciting for 60+ hours, i just wish the character interactions and story would be more expansive instead of the mandatory endless grind which 80% of the game consists of.

For a PS1/ Dreamcast rpg, this game is absolutely phenomenal. Pros: - Insanely good battle mode and leveling up skills, my favorite about this game. - Great characters with good chemistry and interact with each other alot - Long rpg, with adventure mindset and many places to visit. - For its limitations of its console, its actually **** how amazing the game looks - Disc 1 is by far the most best experience that the game offers. - Buncha towns to explore, very lively atmosphere, so much details and stories to explore if you look for them. Just how an rpg should be. Cons: - Terrible camera and its hard to get use to or enjoy the dungeons because of it. - Fun music that seems to be sometimes playing for 15 secs then starts over on a forever loop, i thought the audio for this game needed some serious update for the remaster but its still pretty unpolished. The volcano section and its village i have to turn of the audio completely the whole time. - Disc 2 is 3/10 to me, i hate how the story went from being adventurous kids on a boat visiting new places and just having fun - into terrible anime plot that wasnt enjoyable at all. Disc 1 is 9/10 to me but the last 10 hours was dreadful in terms of story, characters and basically everything, i thought it really fell apart at the end. Overall one of my favorite jrpg's by far but i really dislike how unsatisfying the last 10 hours were, otherwise it's an easy 9/10 for me. A rich experience and few jrpg's match the creativity Grandia 1 exudes.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days9
Aug 26, 2021
One of the best KH games and has the best story of all imo. Best game on the DS. Unfortunately Days is the last masterpiece of Kingdom Hearts, started to be way too complex and anime after 2010. Pros: -Amazing music and story -Great characters and insights into KH -Amazing build up story wise, deep emotion -Can play multiplayer with friends, unlock more characters (Only KH game that has that) -Very challenging and alot of content, spend 150 hours on 1 save, which connects to Multiplayer as well. -Very rewarding to do everything, endless keyblades/weapons with different names for each character. The best customization in the series to date. Cons: -May be too repeative at times but nothing like BbS and the games after that. -Story being great, the new games kinda ruined it, so Days story is not as amazing anymore if you're thinking canon. Personally i look at games after Days to be spin-offs, even KH3. -Camera angle can be hard to manage and invisible walls are quite prevalent -It is a DS game so gameplay wise it can be repeative and tedious, the leveling design and some missions are dreadful at times.

Luigi's Mansion 34
Aug 17, 2021
Luigi Mansion 3 looks good BUT controls are kinda clunky and the new dumb downed slam mode replaces what made the battles so amazing, having said that its nice that they tried something new. The overall experience of the game is very lighthearted and ditches the dark atmosphere (I mean the flashlight is barely needed). You can easily see the superiority of the first LM game when it comes to dark, complex halways that unlock certain sections and you're like how do i open this door and then you do and you got up a floor for example..find keys and unlock new areas that connect and your blown away where the games had mystery and eerie feeling leading to the next area. This one doesnt have any of that. -Controls are whacky, its so hard to shoot the plunger high up accurately or **** with the vaccum because for some reason it has a auto aim which turns Luigi is the wrong direction all the time, so frustrating because you consistently lose control of the vacuum. -**** feels very lackluster whats with only 3-4 ghosts and constant timer on, but its definetly fun to some extent but i liked Dark Moon better. -Screampark is a huge disappointment. very lackluster minigames with 2min timer (again with the timer) then when the game finishes you get a black screen that says Retry or Quit, i mean really ? No nothing, just.. that. LM1 was a good GC game (not perfect) and LM2 tried something new as an amazing handheld game with so much content and introduced **** which could easily be improved upon. LM3 not only doesnt manage that but does nothing new while recreating similar recipe but its just not as good. One of the few new things is Googi, so you can play the story co-op or different extra modes on the couch which is a fun addition. Or if you're playing by yourself you have to control 2 Luigi's while the other sleeps which is kinda weird but its fun. However it seems playing the game 2 player is the best fun to be had here. Overall verdict: Good graphics, entertaining yet ultra childish cinematics but game riddled with inaccurate auto-aiming, needlessly tough boss fights (onlt because of the controls) and a predictable yet underwhelming online MP while the game feeling incredibly rushed and lazy with just a new floor with barely any of them attached except the bottom ones (hence the rushed feeling i get from devs). Also the lack of spooky atmosphere, Luigi humming and just battling ghosts with analog instead of pressing A was sorely missing. Despite the many flaws i enjoy the game and for me, around the time Polterkitty arrived the gameplay started being alot more fun, some of the floors were good but it was such a bore to play through, i didnt get that feeling while playing the other 2 titles.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled2
Aug 14, 2021
The worst part about this game that unfortunately ruins the experience is the horrendous loading times, even when playing with friends locally you have to wait so long for each track, cant believe they didnt fix that like they did with N-Sane Trilogy. Both game started with terrible loading times but the trilogy was fixed, this game was not. The online problems are way too many to make it a great game: Terrible matchmaking, its P2P so the host has the best ping and the others usually have latency, especially since its regional as well so it can be very hard to find lobbies. Also you have to wait so long for each track, then everybody leaves and another 10minutes to wait for the next 2min track. On top of that there are easy cheats/exploits in the tracks that the developers have not fixed which bluefire nerds take advantage of and beat the levels sometimes in seconds. And if the host leaves everyone disconnects. I could say so many other things about the online but this is quite a bit but Activision added microtransactions and made it EVEN harder to collect coins so thats great. For a nostalgic game that has always been one of the best racing games ever made and in my opinion the best kart racer on the planet (original CTR) this release is ridiculously disappointing. Positive things: Only thing that makes this game stand out is the remade story mode and the amazing graphics while racing, its also great how many updates have been made that added so many characters and maps to play. If the loading would be better i would give it 8/10 - It is after all the main reason why the playerbase for this game is dead, the matchmaking and overall loading times needed to be addressed, also just an update for the MP - Tournaments/Online Cups, just anything really...

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD2
Jul 23, 2021
The most frustrating and boring 3D Zelda, a game that throws you endlessly in same areas/bosses the whole entire game. Cool updates to graphics but way too pricey. Should've done the same like they did with Mario Galaxy last year, but they wanted to max profit from Zelda fans

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time0
Mar 16, 2021
So disappointed with this game, ive been a nonstop Crash fan since the first release, played 1-3 probably few thousand times and every Crash game to date. This game is so ridiculous in a way that it caters ONLY to the hardcore gamers. Crash 1 was legit hard but average players can still beat it and have fun. The difficulty of this game consists mostly of 2 things: The length of the maps and the camera angle behind Crash which is so zoomed out that its hard to control where he will land, thats why they added the location marker under Crash which i thought was a decent fix but poor design nonetheless. Best Crash games have Crash zoomed in more (just like some of the maps in this game like Nitro Processed which is actually one of the few maps that i liked). The length of the maps are so ridiculous because its EVERY map and they are so tedious that each hindrance is just repeated again and again. It feels so lazy, uninspired and uncreative, because most maps actually have 1-2 good ideas that the whole map consists of. ND did this sometimes like in Crash 1 but it was mostly the 2 stages of going over the bridge which were relatively short because they were so brutal. Here its every map and they are so ridiculously tedious. The audio for this game is very boring, best songs are poor remixes of the masterpieces from ND. The only reason i give it a 2 is because of good graphics and cutscenes. I thought they were the best part about this game and i liked how Dingodile was expanded and become a retired good guy. Kinda like Crash Bash. Anyway i regret purchasing this game on sale because i've already uninstalled after beating the game because i just dont wanna go through those maps again. I liked that they added content and more characters but alot of it is just lazy (like reverted diamonds and different colors for bosses) or super hard like finding all the stupidly well hidden boxes while not dying - Just isnt fun at all. I had a miserable time beating this game because i dreaded every single level where Crash never got to breath or slide or anything. Every map is clustered with endless hindrances every step and thats just not Crash and never has been. The masks were remaked from Wrath but i consider that game vastly superior. Its the true 4. I've never been this critical of a Crash game and i played Titans which were terrible but i new that at time and i wasnt hyped for those releases.

Kingdom Hearts III2
Jul 15, 2020
Lets face it Kingdom Hearts has never had an amazing story but every single game until 2010 has been incredibly and beautifully woven, people say they never made any sense but they totally did.. Until after 2010 when Dream Drop Distance came out, which introduced Time travel and a new phone game which carried on the mediocre storyline additions and Kingdom Hearts 3 is a sequel from THAT, not KH2. This game is not for newcomers since the devs expect you to have played DDD and KHUX. I got my brother into playing Kingdom Hearts to my surprise and he ended up loving KH1 and KH2, got bored with BbS and jumped into KH3 and hasnt played it since it came out - Mind you i did not express frustration to him, he just said that he really disliked the bad pacing and the boring empty big corridors of worlds with nothing in it. And that is exactly how the KH worlds are post 2010: Empty large towery areas with barely anything to do but open chests etc Now the positives are definetly some to KH3, the graphics are good although the character models are downgraded, Kairi looks like an alternate 10 year old version of the super cool lookin KH2 version which appeared older and more realistic. But ok the battle system is amazing as usual, too floaty but still fun as always. Some character were way better written and more lively than others. One of the few characters i liked were Axel,Demyx and Vexen. It was exciting every time they were on the screen, they have the best scenes in the game along with Vanitas and the Monster inc characters imo The Unversed was a nice addition to the Monsters world and was very fitting. My favorite world by far, i ended up liking Tangled also, but not much else. Conclusion i loved playing the first 10 hours of the game, kinda like FFXV. Then i feel like they rushed the game too much and the terrible story addition starts at the end of the game, while every single character comes back, even the ones you thought were dead. And now everyone is alive and no one can die which is a bummer. I personally feel the series ended with Kingdom Hearts 2, nothing happens after that because its just overwriting money grab with hardcore Disney restrictions and alternate timelines/time travel and unneccessary conviluted story additions. They pressed every single character in the series into one soup just like Pirates of the Caribbean 3 did (the worst one) and ironically its the one we are forced to watch in this game. If you want to play good Kingdom Hearts games they are plenty but they all happen before 2010, you will see notable difference in quality if you exclude graphical changes for the PS4.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance0
Jun 13, 2020
The first game in the series to ****, but the more you play you start to enjoy it. The Osaka team was one of the biggest mistakes Square could've done. Something happened in this game that transfered over to KH3 and that is world design and story changes, i really dont like time travel, everyone dead or seemed dead are to be brought to life. Nobody can die and you feel stupid for being emotional in past games and up until 2011 (which is quite a few years since KH1) you actually thought these scenes were meaningful. This game is a good reason why sequels ****. They're just messing to much with the story and adding nonsensical stuff that even confuses Nomura, why is my question. KH was always a little complex to understand but they had to bump it up from 3 to 100 for some reason Pros: -The battle system is great once you ignore flowmotion. -The gameplay can be fun and grinding for better Pokemons -Challenging gameplay and bosses on critical. -Just overall enjoyable game with bunch of stuff to do, tons of grinding. I definetly like that -1 good map: Musketeer World. Cons: -Pokemon concept from FFXIII-2 and Time Travel added from the same development team. Basically KH got same treatment and it **** but somehow people like it, thats why they use the same ideabox. Both games are very identical in many ways. -Petting pokemons and that **** song that i have to turn off everytime i go into the pet menu. -Abilities are stuck on your pets, its interesting but also very tedious. I dont hate it but its definetly a con. -Super large empty maps, that was also used for KH3. -KH story had great buildup until this game, and then we get time travel and nobody cant die, everyone will be rescued and blablabla. Basically KH3 ignores the games before BbS, the ideas are lacking so time travel is the answer and the terrible storyplot are hidden in Dream Drop Distance and phone games, it **** because its only a shadow of what KH can be. The quality isnt there anymore but these games are still enjoyable.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers5
Jun 12, 2020
FFXIV is a good MMO but considering its a paid sub, i feel like Shadowbringers being the third expansion could have added a bit more. Heavensward was amazing due to how much FFXIV was upgraded with, Stormblood imo was the best, because it had the best story, depth of new characters, amazing new eastern areas and just intense cool cinematics. ShB story was intense, had some good ideas but i feel it could've been executed a little bit better, i just didnt enjoy it as much as Stormblood. It was cool to get the Warrior of Darkness siding with you to take his place and the ending was pretty cool but it felt too safe. Eden is fun to play but its just another raid to grind new gear until next expansion. Its a system that is enjoyable but it gets way too repeative. Also sometimes it feels like you're just wasting time grinding the same boring un-rewarding dungeons, if its not daily its like 180k EXP for a lv57 class which is just nothing at all. Shadowbringers is a very cool name, its purple and it adds new locations in different dimension which is a cool, safe idea. Story is not as good as HW and SB, but its alright. I just feel like the expansion could've added some great quality updates to the overall gameplay, bettered PVP, add more rewarding and fun experience other than just more raids and trials. Sure its cool to get 2 new classes and races and the restoration of Ishgard was actually a great idea but thats all there was to me. I did not enjoy the story personally, the Empire looming behind the story was boring content, we have the same villain mustering some Kingdom Hearts revive system but it wasnt bad Shadowbringers was definetly alot of fun to me but the only reason i give it 5 is because being the third expansion i wanted so much more upgrades to the gameplay being a paid experience. Heavensward added pepperoni to the pizza which was a very needed topping. Stormblood added cheese to the mix but Shadowbringers adds ham which was just another topping and at times feels unneccessary.

Final Fantasy XIII-20
May 8, 2020
I was actually super hyped for a sequel of XIII because i actually kinda liked that game, it wasnt a great FF but it was a fun Square game that should've been called Fabula Nova Crystalis or something, anyway i was ready for the sequel because i was hoping for more of the same characters but nope. 13-2 was probably the worst script/story/game ive ever played, since it takes FF to a low place of crap magnitude of nonsense. And its insanely boring cutscenes, 2 characters, time travel and you have to use math to know whats going on. Cool boss though but its probably the only FF i regret playing, both XIII sequels were the boring spray in the bathroom you read the info on, when you have nothing else to read and you ask yourself what the heck you are doing.

Final Fantasy XV4
Dec 17, 2019
The only reason i give it a 4 is because the main characters have chemistry and their story together is beautiful, other than that this game has nothing. FFXIII was linear but so was this game, they just made a big sandbox with nothing in it, to play in. Just like the modding tools. At least XIII had more fun exploration in the end, whereas XV whole world just feels empty and boring. No extra characters really except maybe a sexualized mechanic with boobs on your window, yep thats bad. At the first point of no return, i felt like the game was over, that boatride to Altissia made me think something weird was going on with this game and sure enough: Time Travel. Probably the worst idea Squeenix can come up with. I really enjoyed the pace of the story until then, Titan was my favorite part. I like this game and put 100 hours into and enjoyed maybe 40-50 hours of it, the rest i regret playing honestly. Example the menu is super offputting and the battle system, repeatitive side quests and nothing to do but jump around blue shinies because they failed to have seperate buttons for picking up treasure and jumping and chocobos cant even pick treasures, which makes the chocobo travelling so much worse. Even X-2 has arguably the best battle system in the whole franchise but this one has to be the poorest, i mean you cant die ! Way too easy and the camera goes everywhere. The staff even know the flaws so they tried to fix it but they couldnt. I rate the extra chapters alot higher than the game, also the Kingsglaive movie and the Youtube episodes. All were amazing and got me pumped for this game but its just failed miserably. Episode Prompto was the best thing in this game, i give that one 9/10, i mean its supposed to be short but its so well done, i wish they did the same thing with the game except just rehash areas and another gas station. On a Final note, what makes FF great is the music, characters, storyline, crazy battle mode, customizations, exploration, travelling by land or flight and so many things to do but this game tried and failed. 1. Music was decent, i will not bash that but it wasnt amazing, however they did add MP3 which was a fantastic idea, so music wise, sure they tackled that one. 2. Characters were only 4 in the game, there wasnt alot of other people. I mean sure without going into confusing plotholes, antagonists were a few, and one of them showed up often. But all in all, not rich in character building or interactions, except between the 4 and the antagonist harassing them. You see interesting NPC's but its very shallow, thats why i liked the extra episodes because Cor and Aranea got alot of screentime. 3.Storyline is super promising, especially due the movies and episodes earlier but it falls flat and has so many plotholes and random things its ridiculous. Staff tried to fix it but didnt succeed since its already been released and its a mess. Regarding the end however, it was a decent fix. All in all i liked the game 40%, but the the only way to die in this game is by flying the Regalia, it was the only challenge in the game and new Game plus would be even easier since enemies will still be pathetically weak. And the loading times are so bad, im pretty sure no FF game has ever had loading problems but this one sure has them. Honestly if those would be fixed and the jump button while picking up treasure, along with harder enemies on new game plus, i would rate the game maybe 7.

Monster Hunter: World9

Tried this game when it came out and boy did i not expect to become a fan of these series. I had judged this game unworthy of my attention but only thing i can say is i regret not playing those games on the earlier consoles when they came out. I like playing solo but its best to play with friends. The MH community is so amazing, so many helpful and nice people. After playing MHW i bought MHGU on the Switch and MH4 on the 3DS. All amazing games that ive spent so much time playing and its always a pickle to decide which game to play. Iceborne is probably the coolest and most fun expansion ive ever played, its so humongus and added tons of new monsters and stuff to do. All the flippin careful details in this game, the content, the in-depth gameplay and locations are so good. Iceborne definetly feels like a new MH game and to me its the game of the year.

Very complex, not user friendly - Customizations is interesting but doesnt really tell you what to do. Character avatars are all uninteresting, and i absolutely despise Squeenix setting up the story for KH3 and future games via phone games that bare minimum of the fanbase plays. Im a die hard KH fan but i just didnt wanna play this. Ive played Chains of Memories and all other games over 10 times. This is the game after 2010 with DDD and KH3 that takes the Kingdom Hearts series in a very weird direction.

Its easily one of the 5 top games in history of gaming. Its the best game on PS1 and that console has insanely many good games but VII tops the lot. Was a huge reason why PS1 was successful and why Squeenix is the megacorp it is today but on to the game itself it has incredible storyline, characters, music composer and depth to it that can only be compared to the other FF's on the console. Best game on the PS1, hands down
