Short but sweet perfectly sums up Luigi's haunted quest. Very little has changed in the transition from GameCube to 3DS, except for slightly inferior visuals and way worse controls...unless using the Circle Pad Pro. With the added benefit of the attachment, Luigi's Mansion plays exceptionally well, and is an enjoyable, if easy, romp through the spooky mansion that really kicked off Luigi's gaming career.

Luigi's Mansion 3DS brings back the old classic of the GameCube for both players that never played the original and players that played it hundreds of times. That Luigi is easily scared makes him a perfect guy to play around in a ghost mansion.
While the game is still rather short and linear, its experience is fun and enjoyable, especially as Luigi gives it a whole flair of his own personality in a much welcome addition to the Nintendo heritage. Its motion controls need some improvement but this is a welcome return of one of the few games starring Nintendo's green-capped hero.

The game was creative and unique for its time. Yes the game is short, but what’s there is full of mystery and good exploration. The game is moderately challenging, which is good for young players although the controls do take some time getting used. This is one of the better GameCube titles, but it seems like the scores have gone down because not much has changed since the 3DS iteration. I just couldn’t sit by and see this title floating at 74%. That’s way too low.

This game was already overwhelmingly good for a launch title for the Gamecube, however the remake onthe 3ds improves this a lot just by adding extra features and improving the graphics to be more modern and what we're used to.Donot hesitate to try this game out

This is the last game that Luigi truly shows respect and care for his brother Mario, as a few months later, he'd beat the **** out of him for no reason in Super Smash Bros. Melee (which also contradicts this game since Luigi shows to care about Mario in this game, only to show hate towards him a few months later, but whatever I guess). If you want some wholesome moments between Mario and Luigi, then this is a great game to try. Ignore Super Smash Bros. and just play this game instead. THIS truly shows the bond between Luigi and Mario, not that fraud of a series

Luigi’s Mansion is a must play if you’ve never enjoyed it before. If you still own the GameCube version, there really isn’t enough here to warrant a new purchase unless you need the slightly updated visuals and ability to take it on the road. I personally believe this game, like it’s 2013 sequel, Dark Moon, is better suited for a home console experience – and fortunately, we’ll all be enjoying Luigi’s Mansion 3 on the Nintendo Switch when it launches in 2019.

Best game I’ve ever played in my life. Playing a GameCube game with a 3DS oh… WOW!

Luigi's Mansion returns 17 years later as fun as ever, but with some new features that will delight both the players who enjoyed it in the past and the new players who did not have the opportunity to do so. And now in portable mode.

Once again, Grezzo shows that making remakes is his thing. It may not have been as successful as in other cases, but the adaptation of the GameCube classic to 3DS is quite remarkable. Despite the failures of the control system, it's still just as fun and entertaining, even a little more than the original thanks to the additions.

While some parts of Luigi’s Mansion may be beginning to show their wear, by and large the game is still just as much of a quirky, experimental romp as it was 17 years ago.

Really, it is the same GameCube game with a sprinkling of flourishes here and there for the 3DS.

If you really really loved the original, or feel you missed out on a bit of history not playing it at the time, then this game will have something for you. Ultimately this version of Luigi’s Mansion would be better off being left in the time capsule it was pulled out of.

While this game is definitely a good time, its just too short to leave a meaningful impression, and hunting down those Boos man... Just plain annoying!

Although it doesn't look as good and doesn't control as well, it's a faithful remake and it has some neat additions to it, it's also reasonably priced unlike most low effort remakes nowadays.

It is a remake of the Nintendo GameCube classic. At the time maybe it was something more special, but nowadays it's an average game for good, with a fun and cool exploration to pass the time. But for me personally this style of play doesn't appeal so much. I admit that there is a lot of creativity and originality in general in the concept of the game, and it's good to see Luigi having a greater representation in the games.

Bought it day one as i loved the first game, and while its definetly enjoyable to an extend, the controls are absolutely awful. Why not just use the same controls as Dark Moon had ?
