Great superhero movie that understands perfectly what we always wanted from a spiderman movie. Its fun, lighthearted, funny and enjoyable in every way. For the first time spidey actually looks like a teenager, the characters actually looks and act like teenagers and we get the coming-of-age Peter Parker story we always wanted, that capture his young, innocent, fun and youthful spirit and gives us actual knowledge of how he became spiderman in his costume, but also in his heart and what he had to do to accept himself as he is. As for Vulture, its a great villain, with clear and understandable motivations, supported by Keatons excellent and intense performance.

One of Nolan's best project so far, a masterpiece in its own lane that offers a hideously beautiful spectacle about the battle of Dunkirk. The cinematography is absolutely gorgeous, the music is mesmerizing, the acting is perfect in its subtle and nuanced way and the visual effects are breathtaking. We are literally thrown into battle from the first second and it never ends until the last. An unnerving and highly stressful experience that gives the full scope of what happened at Dunkirk decades ago, without exaggerating anything, using shock value or showing any blood and gore.

To be perfectly honest I am a huge DC fanboy, I love these characters and you cant imagine how hyped I was about this movie, the trailers made it look so good and fresh, so I was pretty disappointed after the movie ended that it was simply okay. This movie is definitely not a bad one, it has some strong points like the performances of the actors, the great chemistry between them, the character development and some great action sequences. But it has also many bad points like the all over the place plot, some terrible CGI, a very bad villain and false marketing about how important the Joker actually was and the role he played. Overall, it is enjoyable, it is fun to see these beloved characters on the big screen and shoot up some sh-t, but as BvS it kinda feels like a disappointment because it had so much potential and it was not nearly exploited enough.

Interesting movie, a story I didn't know about and was fairly entertained by. Bryan Cranston is brilliant as Trumbo, the cast is stellar, the storytelling pretty good, the music and cinematography excellent, but the film drags a bit sometimes and becomes boring, and also it feels somehow clumsy and overly simplistic in its way of explaining all the pieces of the puzzles and making them move. Absolutely loved that movie. It was made in a way that boring concepts, theories, facts and mostly a history lesson we heard a thousand times, all became not only interesting and entertaining, but funny! This movie is almost a comedy, but not in a disrespectful way to the victims of this crisis. It is like that because of the excellent writing, the chemistry between the characters, the 4th wall breaking, the cameos, the characterization of our 4 main guys and the incredible performances by these main actors, especially Bale who is marvellous as this awkward math genius. It is a funny, intriguing, suspenseful and entertaining movie about a very sad and serious event, which the movie acknowledges in tasteful and respectable ways, that is definitely worth checking out.

Great sequel to the great first one, really enjoyed that one. James Wan does not disappoints and brings us a truly well crafted horror film, mostly based on atmosphere, suspense, music and camera tricks, while relying on jump scares and scary imagery only when necessary and after the tension has been build up to its culmination point, which allows this sequel to be as good as the first and also scarier, bigger and better than it had any right to be. Its a good film, Robert Downey still nails it as Iron Man, the story is interesting and sometimes thrilling, the effects and action scenes are great and there is some good jokes. I also enjoyed that Don Cheadle's war machine was there a lot in the film, he is a great addition to the MCU. I will say that the main villain of this movie is the weakest part about it, he is not bad, but a bit cliché and poorly written, there is not much to him. If the Mandarin had been the main villain, acted like in the comics and had been well developed instead of being a lazy old fart who we discover he is a fake, it would have been way better. I will say that he looks badass and Spader did a good job, but there's not much to him. The film, gets sometimes a bit convoluted and confusing with multiple plots and bad guys at the same time and there is a lot of shoehorned in scenes that don't fit at all with the movie just to set up the next MCU installments. Much darker, violent and grittier, a style Snyder is known for. You'd think for a Superman movie this wouldn't work, but it really does, the movie has a lot of emotional weight and you feel more involved. The acting is great, the special effects are incredible and the kind of never seen before Superman storyline is coherent, intriguing and interesting, we also get a lot of Krypton which is very nice. Oh what a shame to waste such a great opportunity, such a stellar cast and such potential on an incredibly underwhelming film like this. This movie had so much going for it, the first two installments were home runs, amazing films, they had everything to make a great ending to Raimi's trilogy. But Sony has a tendency to rush things with their movies and also rush directors in the wrong ways because the want more and more money. They were so concerned with making more money that they pushed the director to shovel in unnecessary sub-plots and villains that no one asked for and just discombobulated everything and ruined the movie. There is still some good about it, Tobey Maguire still nails it as Spiderman, except the dancing scene, so does the cast from the previous ones, there is great action scenes, the black Spiderman aspect is interesting but not developed enough and the sandman is a pretty good villain with a decent character development. But the Harry becoming the new goblin, the Gwen Stacy love triangle and Venom being shoehorned in with an awful casting choice for him aspects were so incredibly bad and unnecessary, they confused everything and made this potentially great film a complete mess. I give it a passing grade despite all these negative points, simply because of spiderman, the cast from the previous ones, the great action scenes it had and most of all the potential it had, the little sparkles of greatness that showed up once in a while. All of these positives made this mess worthwhile, just to see Tobey Maguire as Spiderman one last time.

In my opinion this movie is far better than the first one, more well-rounded and rich in its character development. Andrew Garfield is still very good as spiderman and every scene with him is great and the cast from the first one is still on point. The romance between him and Gwen feels more natural and necessary to the plot. Electro is a pretty decent villain, his character is interesting and his story arc and motivations are way more clear and coherent than the villain from the first one. As in the previous film, the CG is excellent and every action scene is very well-made and very enjoyable. The main issue with this film is its abundance of bad guys that spiderman has to deal with and maybe too much sub-plots. It becomes a bit convoluted and confusing at some points, but I still think that every new character and story arcs are more interesting, original, emotionally resonant and more developed than the ones in the first film. Yes, there is a lot of sub-plots, but they all tie in together in a decent way, where you can still follow the main point of the movie, even if sometimes it his harder than it should be. The last 15 minutes are indeed a letdown and seem forced and are an obvious unneeded setup for Sinister six, but the rest of the film felt much more interesting, rich in character development, emotional attachment and cohesion in the villains intentions and plans, than the first one, thus much better and fun to watch.

The plot is fantastic and it stays pretty coherent and cohesive for its 3 hours runtime, the acting is great, the special effects are pretty good for 2009 and the costumes and practical effects are incredible. But the most impressive aspect of the film is how it looks in general. Its very dark, gritty and dirty, you can almost smell the blood and the sweat coming out of it. Prepare for the epic and biggest boxing match of history, featuring America's two greatest heroes now turned foes, who will clash against each other, for 6 minutes and then become best friends. I've waited 3 full years for this film to arrive, I was so excited, so hyped for this film and when it ended, well It's very sad for me to say, I was kinda disappointed... But let's start with the positive here : first, Batffleck is the best batman ever. He is raw, dark, violent, gritty and he seriously doesn't give a sh** anymore. Everything about him in the movie is A+++. Superman for his part is pretty good, Cavill did a good job, a better one than in MoS in my opinion, he delivers as you can expect and the fight between him and the bat (the only one) is incredible, it literally is fanboy fap material. Alfred is also very good and badass, as well as Perry and Lois Lane is also decent. Now for the negative part : it is not Batman v Superman, let's be honest its a trailer for Justice League. There is no actual plot or mission or quest in the movie, its pretty much random scenes involving short fragment of stories that would deserve a whole 2 hours film for themselves. The movie is very incoherent and discombobulated, it doesn't feel like a whole story in which you get involved. Its just random clips that doesn't really tie in together. For the character of Lex Luthor, he is not very good, he is exactly what you saw in the trailer but for nearly 3 hours... And the ending is... okay I guess? I mean it's a big CGI action fest with a big CGI thing that doesn't look and act anything like the real Doomsday... To conclude, the movie is the second trailer. What you saw in there and you thought would represent the film, you were 100% right. It's not necessarily bad, Batman did look phenomenal in it, as well as superman, the fight between them was incredible and I like me some good ol' CGI epic action from time to time.

They just do not exploit the good concept to make a good film, they decide again to use the same old formula of loud noises, cheap jumpscares, bad acting, bad effects and shaky cams to cover up these bad effects when something happens. And the ending, oh my god, this one of the worst ending I have ever seen in any movie ever. You have a great actor (Christoph Waltz) playing the villain and a lot of premise, but his talents are kind of wasted. They build the character for more than an hour and when he finally appears it is for maybe 2-3 short scenes where he does pretty much nothing and when he does do something it fails and he look moronic.
