Visceral action (including an opening sequence that masterfully sets the tone for the rest of the film); a sharply written and directed script; rich, dynamic characters; and, as promised, the world’s cutest cat (other than yours if you have one) combine to create a gut-busting, endearing, salty-sweet, and highly re-watchable comedy.

Key and Peele’s fast-talking chemistry, as they shift their language instantly from suburbanite to street (a theme in many of their sketches), make Clarence and Rell’s transformation into bellowing, gun-wielding tough guys and back again feel fresh and often very funny.

It's a fun generic comedy film with a generic plot but because of the characters and the how stupid the premise is makes the film good but not great. Definitely a go see!

If you like Key & Peele. This is the most funniest movie you will see this year. If you are okay with Key & Peele then this will still be the most funniest movie you will see. If you dont like Key & Peele, this movie might not be for you, but then comedy might not be for you either :P

The real surprise is not that the high-strung Key and grounded Peele have rapport – their sketches demonstrate that – but that it can be used to anchor a full-length comedy.

The film is a one-joke comedy, but the joke is decent, and it helps that the actors know how to deliver it.

The movie is hit-and-miss in an unusually clear-cut way. It's funny for 45-50 minutes. Then it's strained and abrasive and entirely too devoted to action-movie tropes for 45-50 minutes, minus end credits. I can recommend the first half.

It’s ironic, but Keanu might be a better movie if it was more like TV: 90 plotless minutes of Key and Peele just goofing around on the mean streets might’ve been something really special.

An initially amusing but fatally overstretched action-comedy that marks a lamer-than-expected big-screen outing for Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.

Laughed the whole time. They're the best. Still really upset they stopped making their show. Also, found myself watching Keanu Reeves movies afterwards.

Key & Peele sketches are pure comedy gold content, so naturally, we all expected that same magic in a longer format, nfortunately, Keanu doesn't quite hit the mark, so that was a bit disappointed, 15 minutes in, then the funny stuff happen, it takes that time but the rest of Keanu thankfully for me was entertaining and funny enough to watch, the signature Key & Peele comedy is present added with the enjoyable group of gang they were involved with, while the plot itself is silly and somewhat lackluster forced to be entertained by Key & Peele presence and the rest of the cast that works mostly, overall, Key & Peele fans might find themselves both disappointed and entertained at the same time, the duo remains hilarious and fun to watch, the story just wasn't the best, some of the execution of the comedy or the story definitely have a noticeable flaws, in the end, it's a movie you'll either enjoy or not.

A bit of a nothing comedy. Some funny moments, but what saves this movie from being a complete disaster is the chemistry between Peele & Key.

So a movie about a cat. No. It seems that ethnicity and race has always been a source of income and inspiration for Jordan Peele and as much as Get Out was a bore Keanu, despite being on the polar opposite end of genres, doesn't provide an exception to this. Funny animals deserve to remain on poorly edited YouTube clips or washed up daytime home video TV shows, not made into a film. Similarly the jokes were out of place, in fact they were out of sight, this film failed to make me laugh a single time. Too often the genre of comedy is seen as a free pass to botch a script, story and frankly the film industry, Keanu being a fine example of all of these. I wish some respect was shown to the craft here but like the films point all was lacking. Poor Tiffany Haddish, a promising upcoming comedic actress, is being hindered by recent films such as this and night school. Granted Tiffany managed to create a likeable character you could cling on to in order to survive the 1.5 hours. As a person who likes to laugh with and not at, I have made an observation through watching many failed comedy films is that being loud, frantic and annoying doesn't translate to comedy. Isn't that right Kevin Hart.

Another movie out done by its own trailer. All the funny parts are on the trailer. So sad... I laughed maybe one time this whole movie. Smoke a lot of weed before you watch this because its not that funny.
