ClusterTruck is a extremely fast paced plat-former where the levels consist of jumping from roof to roof on trucks that have a mind of your own. They move around quite random and can make it difficult to not fall to your death. Maps usually have massive drop offs, ramps, Slow motion, death traps and many other ways to die. There is also a nice amount of themes to the maps, Some Retro some medieval but it helps keep the game fresh.ClusterTruck shines when you are in the middle of those "Oh crap" Moments, When your go off of a drop off or double jumping hundreds of meters ahead you get a great feeling of speed and action. ClusterTruck is at it's prime when you start to master the game and learn how to double jump just right or how to handle your speed and momentum. There are lots of upgrades to choose from like Jet pack or double jump that can completely change how you play. The game has a fair amount of levels to work your way through but they also have a level editor so the possibilities are endless. If your a fan of fast paced extremely intense action games I really Recommend ClusterTruck, It's in a league of it's own.

No Man's Sky8
Sep 5, 2016
So this is a game that many people have had very heated discussions or arguments over and because of some trailers that misrepresented parts of the game it's left some disappointing. Others finding enjoyment in what the game has to offer. One easy way to put this is that this game is not for everyone, it definitely appeals to a specific group of people, People looking for a exciting space shooter with tuns of depth and story should be looking into other games. People who are looking for a very open and atmospheric game with a beautiful art style and endless possibilities will enjoy this game. No Man's Sky doesn't have a set story,Missions or much interaction with the NPC's in it's world and that can ruin part of the game for people but for others who just want to explore the world and enjoy it at there own pace it's fine. I've spent most my time in No Man's Sky going from planet to planet seeing how the weather, systems and other things can have huge factors on what the wild life and plant life was like, also naming everything and making as much money as possible for later in the game. Going from one planet with huge mushrooms and flying eel to another with rolling hills of red grass and massive trees without loading screens and smoothly is something I've wanted to do in a video game for a long time. Some things No Man's Sky has to offer are up-gradable multi-tool's that you can build to your liking, also have space ships you can customize to be built for fighting ships or mining. Finding a ship with lots of slots and building it up into your dream ship is extremely satisfying and once you start exploring the universe with it you feel like something out of a sci fi movie or novel. Overall if you enjoy open world games and have the urge to just explore the universe at your leisure you will have fun with this game, But remember I look at this game as something to play after a day of work or something to relax with, you can sit back and just enjoy the stars.

DOOM8
Jul 24, 2016
Doom is a very enjoyable single player FPS with a lackluster multiplayer. The single player knows what to focus on to make it enjoyable and that's the action. Slaughtering your way through hordes of demons can be very satisfying and using the multiple different weapons help keep it fresh. The game also makes good use of first person platforming, you are able to find hidden spots and upgrades when you explore the maps a bit. The story to this game isn't the greatest thing but it's not what the focus of this game was, This game is all about the gory action so keep that in mind. Multiplayer felt like a let down compared to the single player, In multiplayer it starts to feel similar to generic shooters like CoD, you have the standard upgrade and leveling system that gears itself towards experienced players so newcomers may find it difficult. The game does have a level builder that adds tons more of longevity to the game, people have made competitive maps, horde/survival maps and everything between. So if you enjoy high paced single player FPS's with a simplistic story give Doom a try, It's not a long game but enjoyable

Ratchet & Clank (PS4)8
Jul 8, 2016
All together I really enjoyed Ratch & Clank and I'd say it's a must play for most PS4 owners, It may feel childish at times but a extremely enjoyable Ratchet & Clank game, It captures the extremely fun game-play from the first game but adds gorgeous graphics and animation. The story is very self away and is able to make jokes about it's self. You do the regular traveling from planet to planet completing objectives, those objectives do vary from missions focused around aspects of Ratchet's or Clank's ability's. Some levels feel very tight and restricted but once you unlock more items you quickly realize backtracking can lead to hidden places. All together I really enjoyed Ratchet & Clank and I'd say it's a must play for most PS4 owners, It may feel childish at times but extremely enjoyable.

Overwatch7

Overwatch is Blizzard's new Multiplayer Shooter, Some compare it to games like Team Fortress 2 or maybe BattleBorn and other more MOBA related games. But it's basically a hero based arena shooter where each hero has something that makes it unique from the rest, This causes some heroes to be stronger against others or vice versa. Your success in Overwatch is directly related to your teams lineup and how well you work together. Playing solo may result in some very bad games if your team isn't wanting to work together. Playing with groups of friends will be much more enjoyable. Currently Overwatch only has Quick Matches and personal ranks but they plan to add a full ranked mode for people who want to take it seriously. The design behind Overwatch is done so perfectly, Everything from sound to characters it all just works so well together. Audio queues will let you know if someone is using a Ultimate or even the foots steps of a specific hero. Not much bad can be said when it comes to this aspect of Overwatch. One of the only things you can complain about with Overwatch is Matchmaking and team builds. Nothing is more discouraging then getting destroyed by a full grouped team over and over or getting paired up against people much higher level players. This will hopefully be fixed with the addition of competitive mode. Also having team stack one hero can make a game unplayable...some of the builds you can make up are nothing but torture. All in all if you enjoy multiplayer games like Team Fortress 2 and you are able to keep your cool give Overwatch a try.

Just Cause 37
Apr 24, 2016
Do you ever feel like parachuting into a military base and using a RPG to blow up anything in sight? Well that's Just Cause 3, You will spend most the game going from Cites,Towns and Military Bases and destroying them. The game takes place in a tropical island in the middle of a Military Dictatorship, You are part of the rebel group and I'm sure you see where this is going. The highlights from Just Cause for me have to be using your Grappling hook and wing suit to fly across the map like a superhero or just thinking of new ways to destroy everything. The game is fairly simple with not much depth, If you don't enjoy the simplicity of just killing everything with not much of a story then you won't really enjoy Just Cause 3. It seems like a game you play for a bit then move on, not much with the game keeps you playing or draws you in.

Star Wars Battlefront5
Feb 9, 2016
Fans of Star Wars will be pulled right into this game, It captures the essence of Star Wars great. With gorgeous graphics and immersive sound it really feels like your a storm trooper trying to wipe out the rebel scum. The game is only multiplayer so anyone looking for a single player experience will be disappointed. The multiplayer has 9 game modes, some of witch are very similar but some stand out like: Walker Assault and Supremacy, Walker Assault seems to be the fan favorite. It focuses on rebels trying to bring down walkers and the empire defending them. Player customization is a nice way to keep the game fresh, you can choose your blaster and 3 "Star Cards" that can give you things like a jet pack or sniper rifle but then extremely cheap things like a homing missile that can become frustrating. I do wish they added more Star Cards, some feel totally useless and don't add much to the game. Customization for your character is extremely overpriced,Minimule and only unlocked once you have experienced most of the game. It's awesome hearing your blaster going Pew Pew but I do wish they explained upon them more, after awhile you just use the same gun. Battlefront also has a co-op game-mode where you and 1 friend can work through waves of enimes in the most original idea for a game since Candy Crush. Battlefront is extremely fun in small bursts and captures the Star Wars universe very well but I feel like there was lots of wasted potential here. It could have been so much more **** and if you compare this to the Canceled Battlefront 3 or even 2 (for the PS2)it feels like a lot is missing. Unless you want to buy all the DLC with the game 165$ later....

Lethal League8
Jan 10, 2016
Lethal League is a 2D pixel fighter but with a bit of a twist. It's not about fighting hand to hand or anything, It's about using a baseball that doesn't accept gravity's rules to knock your opponents out. The ball can travel at a moderate speed that most people can handle all the way up to the point you are guessing when you hit the ball back because it's moving so fast. You can choose your base speed so if your a fan of the fast pace or bit slower you can pick, but if you and your fiends are good enough you can get the ball up to some extremely fast speeds. Each character handles unique to there style, The baseball player destroys the ball in heavy hits and the Ping Pong player can curve the ball and catch you off guard so depending on who your opponents pick/Map and ball-speed each character will play different. Each character also has some skins to unlock as to level up to help keep the game fresh. Some maps are wider then others and others are just smaller in every way to you really must watch out for the balls **** music to the game fits great and does a good job at keeping the Adrenalin pumping. Playing at high speeds can be extremely fun once you start to get used to it and Lethal League is just an all around great pick up and play game for when you have some friends over or even online with some buds. But remember practice makes perfect.

Need for Speed6
Jan 3, 2016
Need For Speed is a step in the right direction for the series, The customization and personalization of your car is a huge focus of the game and makes you feel attached and involved in the car you build. The selection of cars is quite big to so any kind of car fan should be able to find a car he or she likes. Each car also handles slightly different but with the upgrade system in the game you are able to tweak a car to your preferences. The process of choosing the car you wanted to build up, saving up the money and then upgrading was one of the most enjoyable parts of the game. Then once you start racing with said car the game really starts coming together. Seeing your creation in motion is awesome and usually inspires you to go buy another car and do it all over And you will need to in the game. It has multiple types of races from Circuit,Sprint,Drift,Drift Train and so much more, So it can be hard trying to build one car that can do it all. The Driving in NFS is defiantly something more related to a arcade racing game but is still enjoyable. Fans of more realistic driving games may find it hard at first to adjust. The streets you race on seem to always be wet or it's raining so drifting and sliding around cars and corners is easy and fun buy at times in the wrong car or turn things become difficult. Later in the game you can run into some extremely uneven races and challenges that may become frustrating and sadly trying to "Restart" A race just makes you reload to before the race start and then load the race all over again, This becomes Extremely frustrating after only a few times and is a major oversight. The story to the game isn't very interesting and is told thought live action cinematics like previous games and sadly almost every-time the actors are horrible and it's no different this time around. The game also forces you to always be online so you can't pause the game and if you ever lose internet in the middle of a race...well to bad. Need For Speed is far from perfect but it does do somethings extremely well and that leads to having perfect moments with the game you will love but also those moments that are far from that.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III5
Nov 30, 2015
Black ops 3 is similar to previous games in the series with it's exo suits and futuristic kill streaks that can feel very overpowering. But it has taken a step back from advanced warfare..a small step be that. It's enough to give the game it's own feel and personality, the story of black ops 3 is much more interesting then previous games but it's not going to surprise you or catch you off guard. Co-op campaign has also made a return and they opened the maps up a lot to make space for everyone and there unique load-outs. The campaign was full of ups and downs of enjoyment and boredom, I'd go from having fun to mindlessly defending a person as enemies poor though a doorway. The ability to customize and level up your guns in single player is a nice touch but doesn't stop the game from feeling extremely liner. Multi-player is similar to previous games and is very familiar to fans of the series, but other may not enjoy it as much. Odd spawns, extremely powerful guns/kill streaks and other elements can make the game very frustrating for some and enjoyable for others. There is a nice variety in game modes to, it ranges from TDM, ranked areas and the crowd favorite Uplink. Zombies is even more over the top then before with most regular zombies being company by big monsters and flying bat type creates witch makes zombies feel very overwhelming but enjoyable. Fans of previous games in the series will enjoy black ops 3 but new comers or old fans looking to rekindle there love for the game maybe pushed away by some of the changes to the series.

A Fistful of Gun9
Nov 15, 2015
**** of Gun is a top down arcade shooter, where you and 11 friends can work your way through extremely fast paced randomly generated levels. The levels are meant to be extremely difficult and is why your given a power up at the end of each **** of Guns has a great western style to it that fits perfect with its characters/setting. The choice of characters is massive as well and they all play different some use guns or maybe rifles others use rockets and even one uses knifes. Not matter your play style you can find a character that can fit your play style. Some play more face-paced some are meant to hang back but they all have there pros and cons. **** of Guns has a Co-op campaign and versus mode so you have tons of options on what you want to play. **** of Guns has a great indie feel to it, anyone looking for a great pick and play game to play with friends or even yourself will find **** of Gun perfect.

Nov 1, 2015
Fans of the Tony hawk series will probably look back at the old games and remember all the goods times it brought them, with it's great humor, solid level design and understandable **** the most part. But Pro Skater 5 is very **** has it's moments of enjoyment when playing it but there are to many other horrible problems that ruin the experience. Constant glitches with physics and collision detection make landing tricks and getting around the map horribly difficult and aseptically a chore. The map design it's self is a step back from the old games, The old Tony Hawk games had interesting maps with hidden parts, Interesting Gaps and just felt all around immersive. The new maps feel just slapped together without to much thought and the parts that do feel thought out aren't that unique. There is a small list of skaters you can choose from and also customize your....sort of. It's more like you slightly alter other skaters into your own, witch is somewhat of a horrible why to handle character creation. Music to the game almost felt like everyone who worked on the game all picked some songs and put them on a playlist, some songs feel extremely out of place. If your looking for a good Skateboarding game For PS4/XBone I must say your out of luck at the moment, Skate 2-3 still hold the crown for console Skateboarding games.

Type:Rider8
Oct 25, 2015
"Type:Rider" is a one of a kind game that blends the world of typography and plat-former, you play as a colon symbol witch seems odd but you work your way through levels designed with different types of Font/Type. From older Gothic and Serif fonts to newer San-Serif and Script, It's extremely interesting looking at all these forms of type in a whole knew light, They are no longer just Letters but pathways you must follow to progress and I feel this lets you see the art and precision behind Typography design. Type:Rider really gives you a idea of how much fonts have changed in the past few years.Controls work great and the sound keeps you immersed in the game. Anyone that is a fan of design or slightly interested in the progression of type on the past few 100 years should really give this game a try, You'll most likely love it.

Depth9
Oct 18, 2015
Depth is a great mixture of a suspenseful thriller and a multiplayer game. 2 players control a variety of sharks well 4 players are divers attempting to retrieve treasure and defend themselves. This makes for a extremely terrifying experience at times or extremely fun depending how you look at it. Playing as a Diver you are able to choose from pistols, rifles and harpoons to use once you can afford them. Learning all the weapons and finding what works best for you and on what level is necessary but very enjoyable. You can also buy temporary items like motion sensors, mines,Health etc. Sharks also have many different ways to spend there points as they level up and depending on what type of shark they are some abilities may be more essential then others. The game is fairly balanced if the teams are working together and the map is forgiving at times, Some rounds may feel bit one sided for the sharks if your team isn't cooperating. Depth is a great Multiplayer Shooter for anyone looking for something slightly out of the normal for the genre.

Grow Home8
Sep 13, 2015
Grow Home is a fairly original Platformer developed by a small Team at Ubisoft. It's a fairly short game but offers a lot to do. Grow Home follows "BUD" (Botanical Utility Droid) and his journey to grow a plant that will oxygenate his home planet. The controls can feel very clunky and hard to learn at first because of BUD's physics and momentum, If you keep running in one direction on jump multiple times you will find it very hard to come to a complete stop without falling off of something. The main objective is to scale a giant bean stock type plant and find points on the plant you can use to grow further to reach food/energy that the plant needs to grow. This is where Grow Home really comes together, As you branch out with your plant and work towards the floating islands you can look back at your progress and see the beautiful mess of a plant you have grown. But at anytime it is possible to fall off and have to rather start climbing again or use a checkpoint that are placed. There are things like Flowers,Leafs and Packets to also help you get around and hopefully not fall back to the beginning. Finding Crystals that are placed throughout the game will increase BUD's jet-pack as well. Altogether Grow Home is a extremely fun light heated game suitable for almost anyone and for the 8$ Price tag or Free if you got it with PlayStation Plus it's a steal of a deal.

Fighties8
Sep 13, 2015
Fighties is a old school themed fighting game comparable to Super Smash Bros and other fast paced multiplayer fighting games. Fighties has a amazing art style utilizing old school bit based graphics but with the speeds and colors of newer games. Combat if fun and very fast with each character playing different to the next making it fun trying to find the character you feel fits the best. You are forced to play and earn coins to unlock most fighters witch could be a downside to some, but for others it gives you a nice objective to work towards. Fighties supports Single player, Co-op(Local/Online) and Multiplayer(Local/Online) all modes give you coins you can use towards unlocking new items, costumes and characters(If lucky). There is also a very detailed level editor letting you make maps 10x more detailed then originally launched with the game, Also will help to bring a breath of fresh air to the game. Overall Fighties is a extremely fun and nice looking game to play with friends or even alone if your a fan of fighters for its cheap 5$ price tag and extremely low system requirements it should be a must have for almost anyone with steam.

Splatoon8
Sep 13, 2015
Splatoon is the Wii-U's main shooter and rather then focus on the killing of other players It focuses on the painting of the map, Giving you points for painting as much as the map as **** play as an "Inkling" that is a human/squid person witch gives you the ability to swim through your teams Ink, You can use this method to get up walls/sneak around. Splatoon also has a fairly deep single-player campaign that is worth playing and a split screen Co-op mode. This is a nice change of pace when it comes to recent shooters and is enjoyable. Splatoon may look childish with it's colours and non violent game-play but you will be surprised how complex it feels. Winning/Playing earns you XP and Currency witch is used to level up/unlock new items then customize your character to your play style, Splatoon has a huge section for weapons from small auto rifles, big paint rollers, sniper rifles and much more. Weapons aren't the only things you can buy and upgrade, Hats, Shirts etc all available as well and consistently changing. Almost everything in Splatoon rotates on a 4 hour clock, New Maps, New Cloths etc all are available every 4 hours. This helps to keep the game fresh and new. The world Splatoon takes place in is amazing, It has little details everywhere you notice and makes you feel like your playing in a real world not just a city made to disguise lobby/loading screens. Music in Splaton is great as well, most times I find myself playing my own music but not with this game. Splatoon is a great shooter for anyone with a Wii-U regardless of age and I highly recommend you try it.

Killzone: Mercenary8
Aug 23, 2015
Killzone: Mercenary may seem like a generic first person shooter at first but it's actually a great game that stands above the rest. It takes the vita and utilizes everything it has, The game Looks Great, Runs well and Controls better then any FPS I've previously played on the Handheld. Mercenary Runs on a toned down version of the same engine as the PS4/PS3 Killzone games and it works great. The story feels short, only taking about 5-6 hours to complete but has a great pick up and play feeling to it making it a perfect game to play on the go or in small increments. The game has a money system that is quite interesting, Completing Missions/Objectives, Getting Kills and Online all give you money for everything you do. You can use this money to buy new Guns,Grenades,Armor and more and let's you play the game the way you want. There is also challenges you can do like beating a level with a shotgun that will net you some extra cash. Killzone also has a great online mode with 3 different game modes to play with it's own set of **** your looking for Fun/Great looking Vita FPS Killzone: Mercenary is what your looking for.

Gang Beasts9
Aug 5, 2015
Gang beasts in still currently under development so some parts of the game are subject to change. With that out of the way, Gang Beasts is an extremely fun local multiplayer game that let's you beat the **** out of up to 8 of your friends and throw them off of trucks, Into Subway Trains, Off a building and a lot more. The game is 100% physics based so you must learn to use your characters weight and movement along with not getting knocked out from the hail of fists coming from other players. What makes Gang Beast unique is that there is no set way or rules to play the game, everyone has there own methods and styles they apply to the game in their own way. Some people treat is more like a game of fist a cuffs and just swing for days or others go for a more direct approach trying to toss others out of the map quickly. This is what makes the game so fun, watching you and your friends flail around the map trying to finish one another off but struggling to do simplest tasks because your chubby gummy bear type character handles like he's drunk but that's OK because its extremely hilarious/fun and you enjoin every second of **** Gang Beasts had online Multiplayer It would be an almost perfect game but sadly you are limited to the amount of friends you can get together. If you are looking for a fun Party/Local Multiplayer game to play with some friends and have a good time, look no further.

Dirty Bomb8
Jul 23, 2015
This isn't quite a full review for Dirty Bomb because it's still in beta and lots is subject to change. This is just a breakdown of how the game is at this point. Dirty Bomb is a free to play FPS with micro transactions and extremely fast paced team based combat extremely similar to Counter Strike:GO but much faster. With the ability to jump off walls and parkour it lets you find hidden paths and new ways to flank your enemy, But must remember all the different Mercs haddel different and some are better then others when it comes to moving and jumping around. There are quite a few Mercs to choose from ranging from Medics,Engineers,Heavy's and others with the addition of new Mercs every few weeks.Your gun and bonuses are determined by your load-out card, there is 5 different kind of cards ranging from slandered starting cards to cobalt cards that give you some good bonuses. This is where the game can start to feel pay to win, People with the Cobalt or Gold cards seem to have a fairly good advantage over people who could just be starting with default cards and can push some new plays away from the game . Once you get some decent cards then you start to enjoy the matches a bit **** one thing to remember to is that Mercs rotate like heroes in LoL and if you have a Merc you like a lot you will have to shell out 10 ish dollars or save up quite a bit of in game money to buy it. Once you get a few good cards and get into the play style you will start to enjoy Dirty Bomb but it's a bit of grind at the start so if you looking for a FPS you can just drop into you may want to stick with CS:GO for now. But I'm curious what changes come to the game in the future.

Batman: Arkham Knight9
Jul 23, 2015
Arkham Knight picks up the story of Arkham City right where it left off, But in Arkham Knight Scarecrow and the other villains have planned a massive take over of Gotham and Scarecrow threatens to poison the city with his "Fear Toxin" Witch leaves the city next to empty except for Looters,Rioters and the "Arkham Knight's" Militia. The Arkham Knight is the some what focus of this game (Hints the name) and he is a unknown villain hell bent on bringing Batman to his kneels and getting his revenge. Him and his Men are the most prepared and well armed when it comes to fighting the Batman. The combat to the game is very fluid and smooth with only a few times where you get mad at Batman for not doing even remotely close to what you wanted him to, other then those odd points the combat is very enjoyable. The environments mostly give you multiple ways to handle a situation rather it be stealth from below/above or a all out brawl or something in-between. The addition of the Batmobile adds a whole new level of combat to the game with the ability to call in the Tank/Super Car with a press of a button you are able to use it to take out enemy checkpoints, Tanks or whatever you need. The Batmobile is extremely fun to drive with it smashing through parts of builds and pushing cars, Also drifting corners and hitting jumps is fun. There are a few Riddler challenges and story missions that build some puzzles around the Batmobile witch can get boring and repetitive but still nice to see them work the vehicle into some puzzles. The game is also full of things to do with tons of side missions to track down and finish, from Hostage's to save,Murders to Solve or other villains to hunt down and lock up. The story to me was a amazing story exploring points of the Batman universe that are extremely well known and close to the fans of the series, anyone who is a slight fan of the Batman universe will instantly love the story of Arkham **** game looks beautiful, Environments are extremely detailed and it gives the feeling of immersion and really pulls you into the story.Arkham Knight Isn't a perfect game but it's really close, if you a fan of past Batman games or a Batman Nerd like myself you will love this game but if your not invested in the world of Batman you may not have the same experience but I'm sure it'll still be enjoyable.

Rocket League9
Jul 23, 2015
At first glance Rocket League may look like Soccer,Hockey and RC Cars had a Video Game child but once you play even one round you realize how balanced, competive and additively fun the game is. All vehicles have the same speed/handling and the only thing really setting them apart is there hit boxes, witch can make a big different with a game build around physics, The physics in the game are great you feel like you accomplish something when you send your car flying through the air using rocket boosts or launch the ball from your net to **** ridiculousness of Rocket League is what makes it so fun, so many split second discussions and mistakes happen within seconds of each other in online matches and some become hilariously funny to watch unfold. There is also a Season mode witch is closer to a story mode type mode you'd find in FIFA or NHL games, but is great for practicing and getting the hang of this one of a kind game. The addition on Split Screen is also amazing, far to many games now a days are leaving out that option all together and Rocket League gives you the option to play with 4 people on one screen. Rocket League has 2v2s, 3v3s,4v4s and even 1v1s to play around in, 4v4s feel very hectic but are extremely fun, where the 2v2/3v3 feel bit more serious and playable 1v1 is fun for you and a friend but can feel quite slow at times. Anyone with a PS4 with PlayStation Plus NEEDS to download this game seeing it's free for the month of July it's something you will not regret and even if your on PC the $20 price tag isn't to bad for a game this additively fun

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt10
Jun 22, 2015
Witcher 3 is a step forward in RPG's, It shows just how big and immersive you can make a modern day RPG. Within the first few hours of the game I had a overwhelming amount of side-quests and points of interest just in the first **** I liked it, it gives you the feeling of being in a real active world where your actions matter, witch they do. Every little thing you do in The Witcher 3 could come back full circle to you, even the smallest things. The story of The Witcher games have all been good mostly thanks to the Witcher Books the series is based **** Witcher 3 follows suit for the most part, at times you feel like your just running from A to B to help someone so they will in turn help you by giving you info for the 2 people you are looking **** that IS what a "Witcher" is he is a hired monster killer and you do lots of that. Harpies,Griffins,Spirits and Cannibals are just a few of the foes you have to decapitate and cut in **** combat in the game is very smooth and feels great, All enemies have there own weaknesses and strengths you need to learn and use against them. Some being Oils or Potions you can craft to make you stronger against that type of foe or a time of day that is better to fight it. The developer CD Project Red worked extremely hard on bringing the best possible experience they could to the PS4 and Xbox One, The game still suffers from some frame rate issues and stuttering but it doesn't stop you from enjoying the game very much. The PC version of the game is much better in that subject (If you have a good PC). But regardless of how the game runs if your a fan of RPGs you owe it to yourself to give your Time to "The Witcher 3:Wild Hunt" and it's lots of time trust me, you differently get your moneys worth.

Project CARS8
Jun 22, 2015
Project Cars is possibly the most realistic racing game out at the moment, Go karts, Open Wheel racing and even F1 cars are all able to be driven in Project Cars. All vehicles are unlocked and available to drive from the start of the game and it focuses the game more on Progressing yourself in story mode and learning how to drive said cars properly. There isn't "Credit" or "Money" to spend on new upgrades or rims It's more about learning how to tweak your cars Tire Pressure, Gear Ratios and other settings that let you make your car your own. The graphics in Project Cars are phenomenal, some scenes seem almost real with the amount of detail put into the vehicles or tracks themselves. The crowd still looks like it's from a PS2 Game but you will hardly notice them. The ability to tweak the difficulty the way you want it makes the game much more enjoyable when you are looking for a challenge but still want a chance, you can choose between CPU Difficulty, Driver Assists and other options to help you. Weather effects like Rain look good in Project Cars but I have seen better in other Sim Racers like DriveClub. If you are a fan of Sim Racers you will really enjoy Project Cars with it's lifelike game-play and fairly good car selection but if you a fan of more forgiving arcade racers like Forza or Need for Speed you may not enjoy Project Cars and it's unforgiving handling.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse5
Jun 22, 2015
The newest addition to the Kirby franchise is a little different then the more standard Kirby plat-formers, Not longer do you run through the levels eating your enemy to gain new powers, You now move along a rainbow line you draw on the game-pad to help Kirby move around the map. This may sound like a creative idea on paper but the transfer to game makes it extremely frustrating and difficult to get Kirby to go where you want to go. There is a Co-op element to the game as well that let's a friend play as waddle dee and run along the course and fight enemy's with his spear and that maybe more fun then playing as Kirby himself. Sadly most the time you have your eyes glued to the gamepad and are unable to look up at your TV because you would have no idea where you are drawing, This makes longer gaming sessions extremely hard on the eyes. The Artstyle in Rainbow curse is amazing, the game looks like it's all claymation and is one of the nicer looking Kirby games I've seen since Epic Yarn. Sadly the amazing Art Style doesn't save the game from being very Clunky and frustrating. Fans of Kirby games should stick to Triple Deluxe (3DS) or Epic Yarn (Wii).

The Wolf Among Us9
May 31, 2015
The Wolf Among Us is based off of the widely known comic book series "Fables" Without knowing much about the comic book series I can still say the game is absolutely phenomenal, It has story elements rivaled only by other games from the TellTale studio games such as Walking Dead or Game Of Thrones. The Story follows The Big Bad Wolf as the roll of sheriff in "Fable Town" witch is where almost all Fables now live, Fables like "Snow White", The Huntsman , Trolls and Etc. This many fables being in one place so close together does not make life easy for them...Drugs and Crime have become a big part of there society and end up having control over most fables. The Storyline it's self is one of a kind and kept surprising me left and right, With such an imaginative world to explore and with so many people to interact with it leaves you without a shortage of dialog. It's great being able to have conversations with Beauty or the Beast about there relationship and have them seem like somewhat normal people, I feel like situations like this is what makes this game special...Like where else will you get that? Altogether anyone who was a fan of any of the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones or Borderlands TellTale Games Need to play "The Wolf Among Us" I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Bloodborne8
May 24, 2015
If you have played Demoed souls or Dark souls I'm sure you know what Bloodborne is, and for you that have no idea what any of those are. Bloodborne is self **** in a kind of good way, everything from killing bosses, clearing areas and PVP gives you a great feel of satisfaction when you overcome it. The difficulty of the Demon/Dark Souls games have carried over to Bloodborne...mostly, some aspects of the game have been tweaked to make it a bit more user friendly and less frustrating. You still lose all your "Blood" or "Souls" When you die and "Lanterns" or "Camp Fires" are few and far between. Bloodborne has eased up on traps witch is nice, Nothing is worse then getting killed trying open a door or chest. The combat in Bloodborne is quick, tight and responsive just like previous games, The addition of of guns in Bloodborne adds a new level of combat, You can now parry people with a perfectly timed shot and punish them with huge damage afterwards. The weapons in the game are quite diverse and look amazing, Things like a giant wagon wheel, 2 handed great-sword or a cane whip all have their pros and cons to battle and let you build a character based on how you play. Level design in the game is amazing, Big Gothic city's and cathedrals look terrifying grouped with the equally as terrifying enemy's at times. Some of the enemy's you fight feel very overpowered and will take you quite a bit to bring down, But don't forget Bloodborne has Co-op! Sadly it's not as easy to use as some would like but it's very helpful being able to bring you friends/randoms into boss fights to give you a hand. The bosses in Bloodborne are also horrifying at times for the most part and give you a great sense of fear when you finally find one and then proceed to die to it multiple times. The storyline is dark and twisted but also hard to follow at times but still a interesting part of the game. If you like a challenge to your RPG or you like high blood pressure I recommend you give Bloodborne a try, It's not for everyone but I'm sure a few people out their will love a game degree.

Mario Party 107
May 24, 2015
For the people who have played the other recent Mario Party games like 8 and 9 and were hoping that 10 tried to change the series around will be sadly disappointed. Mario Party 10 is sadly more of the same with board layout and tiles being extremely similar to past games. The mini games in 10 are quite fun tho, some much better than others and are a nice break from the rest of the game. They still have 2v2 , 1v3 and free for all mini games and Bowser will show up often to rain on your parade. Some of the more frustrating elements have been toned down in 10 like Boo stealing your stars over and over but that doesn't mean the game is without it's headaches, You can still go from first to last or last to first in a few turns with blind luck witch can be easily frustrating. Mario Party 10 is a fun game for a few rounds but after 2 or 3 times around the board you will find yourself, well...bored. Games like Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 seem to do a much better job for games to play with friends. Fans of the Mario Party Series should try to find themselves of number 8 or check the Nintendo E-Shop for some of the classic Mario Party titles.

LittleBigPlanet 38
May 14, 2015
The Little Big Planet series has been Sony's go to Light Hearted, Family Friendly, Side Scroller plat-former and LBP3 isn't much different. The developer may have changed but the action and fun really hasn't, All the child like wonder and imagination the games have had is still there. With amazing level design varying many different styles from bright and friendly to dark and less then inviting. The user created maps are still a huge part of the game as well, Sumo Digital went to great lengths to design a great map creation tool with a even better tutorial system that actually makes you want to learn and create your own map. LBP3 really shines with Co-Op play, It's great fun trying to work your way through the maps as a group, some maps taking much longer then others. There are a few glitches found in the game that can cause you to have to restart the level and sometimes even the game, unfortunately that takes away from what is quite a immersive game. But fans of games like Rayman Legends or Any of the Mario games will be able to pick this game and get right into it. Sumo Digital has done the Little Big Planet series justice and if you have been a fan of the previous games or similar ones and you have a PS4 I highly recommend you give this game a try, especially with some friends.

Mortal Kombat X8
Apr 30, 2015
Mortal Kombat X, or "MKX" Is the newest and most brutally gorie release so far. It takes what Mortal Kombat is known for the most and runs with it, the fatalities and X-Ray's are better then they have ever been. Every bone crunch and disembowelment sounds and goods great thanks to 60FPS and a great audio. The 60 FPS may not seem like a bit deal but it helps extremely with hit boxes and how smooth the characters control. Most the characters are evenly matched with a few that stand out that could use some changes. Online matches sadly usually consist of Schorpion fights but if you know your character enough you can put up a fight. The amount of characters they give you to choose from is quite nice as well, with the attention of quite a few new fighters and more in DLC on the way. The new characters breath some fresh air into the fights and have very original designs and fighting styles. Story mode has a great plot to it and has you play through with multiple characters so you get to give them all a bit of a try. Now that's fun for the first bit but once you get to the more difficult fights and are stuck playing a character you may dislike or have trouble playing the game becomes extremely frustrating and not to fun. At least the towers from previous games are back so you can challenge yourself with your favorite character. The ability to unlock new Fatalities/Costumes/X-rays is also a great idea and kept me going back to spend my "Koins" on new stuff. If you were a fan of the old MK games or have a next gen gen system and looking to beat up your friends, MKX is a great and fun way to do so.

If you were a fan of the "Skate" franchise or "Tony Hawk Pro Skater" ,OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood will be perfect for you. It brings back the stick controls of skate and the Fun/Addictiveness of the Pro Skater games. It's also a great sequel, It's pretty much a improvement on every aspect of the previous game. Each level has great flow to it with a mix of obstacles and bonuses to aim for, some doubling your points or speed but can also lead to you face planting into the ground. The quick and addictive game-play of OlliOlli is what keeps you playing for hours without realizing it, The controls are easy to learn but hard to master, but once you start pulling off even the smallest of combos you feel very accomplished. The level design is quite diverse with themes ranging: Cites,Ancient Ruins,Wild West and other things to experience yourself. But it's great to skate in more places then just a city, the more extreme feels give the game a fun arcade feel. If you have PS+ this month I highly recommend you give this game a try and even if you don't or miss the offer I still urge any skateboard fan to give this game a try, I can assure you will become addicted.

CounterSpy7
Apr 26, 2015
CounterSpy is a Great downloadable game available for PS4/PS3/Vita, It was also included in Sony's Playstation Plus Games for March. If you haven't picked it up yet I highly recommend it, It's simple but addictive game-play with very stylized art-style mixes for a great combination. The game-play is easy to get into and very smooth, CounterSpy is laid out as a 2D stealth game at first but once you take cover it gives you a over the shoulder view for a better perspective on the action. I find this makes the gunfights a lot more manageable compared to other 2D types games witch can get confusing. The story is also entertaining with humors quips thrown in from time to time to make your character feel a bit more human. The overall plot is you are trying to stop 2 different super power country's from blowing up the **** moon. There is also a Defcon system you must be careful of, If you alert the guards enough they will start the missile's launch sequence, Then it becomes a race against the clock to stop the countdown. If you a fan of Spy/Espionage or Stylized 2D games like "Mark of the Ninja" Or "Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate" you should find lots of enjoyment here.

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse7
Mar 26, 2015
Fans of the dragon ball series will enjoy Xenoverse for it's great character creation and ability to customize your fighter almost anyway you want it. With the choice of race being the only thing that sets you apart from others you use ability points to choose witch areas of combat you want to specialize in. Some play better has up close Strikers with melee combos, others hang back to support with Ki blasts. The story to Xenoverse is interesting with the ability of time travel thrown in it let's them make any fight possible and it makes for some creative alternate universes to battle in. Some story missions will see easy or just right when it comes to difficulty but then around the half way point the game's difficulty spikes extremely hard and forces you to grind levels in side quests until you are hopefully strong enough to stand a chance. This can become extremely frustrating and make the game feel tedious, Side quests do vary in difficulty and opponent so it's not to boring but with the story being the only way to unlock all the characters you are forced to complete it. Overall if your a fan of the DBZ series or anyone who played the games in the past and are used to the unforgiving fights you will enjoy this game. It's Character creation and over-world is perfect for any DBZ fan.

Battlefield Hardline8
Mar 25, 2015
Hardline is the first Battlefield game in awhile that's not developed by it's main studio "Dice" and is instead made by "Visceral Games" the company behind the Dead Space series. For the most part Visceral does a great job, they breath new life into the single player campaign by giving you the choice of stealth or guns a blazin'. Also Special targets to arrest in missions and the freedom to export the environment with grappling hooks and zip-lines witch can completely change your approach to battle. The ability to take it slow and arrest every target as you sneak around is very fun but on the later levels I found I still enjoyed the heavy weapons and their customization. But as enjoyable/Corny as the story was it's not why most people play Battlefield, It's for the multiplayer. Multiplayer is even more fast paced compared to BF4, Slightly smaller maps and guns suited for more city combat make it a bit quicker to die but puts you closer to the action. In the new game modes "Hotwire" and "Blood Money" I find the most excitement with Hotwire's car chases and vehicle mayhem and Blood Money's constant back and forth struggle trying to steal the other teams money. If you liked BF4/3 for it's vehicle based combat you maybe disappointed with Hardline. The "Cops Vs Robbers" Setup makes it hard to justify tanks and jets for battle. But in the classic "Conquest Large" and other game modes you can still find helicopters and armored trucks to cause destruction. All in all if your a fan of the combat in the Battlefield series and BF4 is getting a bit old for you, Hardline maybe a good alternative. Grated it's not perfect but still enjoyable.
