I played the demo and liked it quite a bit. Now that I played the full game, it didn’t satisfy me; I felt lazy about going to the points manually and only used fast travel to all the events. A bug/lack of information blocked the aerial events for me—I was only able to do 5.
The hate this game gets is purely from people who have never picked up a controller in their life. A very good improvement over the original Horizon, not much more to say. Incredible. 121 hours for Platinum + DLC.
I only rate the campaign. The story is on par with the previous one and for me it was a 10/10. What lowered the score were excessive character prompts and a couple of visual bugs with lighting and textures.
What impressed me the most was the atmosphere, which goes hand in hand with an incredible audio design, as well as the mapping and progression. The rest of the aspects are excellent except for the animations and visual bugs or T-posing that I saw. Truly amazing
The improvement in gameplay and animations compared to the first one is incredible. But even so, the difficulty, some bosses, and the maps are not that good. Same score as the first one because I also didn’t play it at the time.
I played it because of the hype around the movie, expecting a Farcry with an Avatar skin, and what I found was... a Farcry with an Avatar skin, but one that fixes all the bad decisions they had made with that saga. Exploration and atmosphere are unbeatable.
From the creator of Wedding Witch, game I played before. I was expecting a slightly more substantial improvement over the developer's previous game. It was still fun playing as sexy nuns in a Hades-style game.
If they had stepped down from UE5 and had been more careful with the story and the gameplay was more satisfying and responsive... It would be a great product. It's still entertaining overall. The biggest drawback is that some dialogues are incredibly cringy.
"Very good in all aspects. I lower the score because I feel there are characters that appear too little for how important they are and that the setting becomes a bit 'military' (RE5) after the castle. Special mention for the laboratory, which had some really good scares."
It took everything from the first game, which was already good, and improved upon it. The gameplay additions were also excellent. The only downside was the optimization on open or high-polygon maps.
I played the PC version of Sigma. I guess it was alright for the time, but the character designs are incredibly generic and the story is pretty meh. Still, it's a lot of fun.I struggled with the difficulty, but that's because I'm terrible at it.
I don't know how to explain the review. The game is weird, short but long, it doesn't explain many things and has strange mechanics, but it was entertaining as hell. The performance is garbage and the story could be more structured, but the latter is part of the charm.
I can't be objective with the game that made me see games as something more than jumping characters. It's beautiful to play this gem with modern graphics. Optimization problems? Yes, do I care? No.
Surprised in a very good way. Basic but satisfying gameplay, beautiful aesthetic and breaks with the lack of narrative some of this kind of games have. Bad things? A little bit of signage is missing on the map and there's a difficulty spike that's too big in one part.
Despite not having the surprise factor on its side as the first entry did, this game is just a perfected formula that was taken far and beyond. there is litterally not a single bad thing.
I didn't expect anything of what I found. I understand why so many people like it; it's incredible in every aspect. The only thing, and the reason I lowered the score to an 8, is the mechanic of having time and deadlines. I hated it in Zelda Majora's Mask and in FFXIII, this game is not an exception.
Really thankfull about having no problem with the difficulty thing. The only thing that's keeping me from giving this game a solid 10 is the performance thing. The developers really wanted to depend on DLSS or FSR too much.
Played the previous entry a long time ago. I was not expecting a nice story, but i was really good, that combined with the gameplay made it a really good game.
Hard to give a score to this game in 2025. I played it cause Space Marine II looks really cool. This one awakened my interest in the Lore and stuff, it was good to play it.
Expected a Beat'em Up, and ended with a combination between that and a Metroid Vania. It is well crafted and overall a good game. I wished it had a better fast travel system and a better UI and texts.
Played the full version 2025. This was an awesome experience. Everything is fun, everything is well crafted and mechanics are really well implemented. RPG system was flawless. Story wise... there are some lose ends, but nothing too wrong, also there were some minor bugs related with physics but nothing out of the ones that make you laugh.
This is truly na upgrade comparing to the first one. The plot has a lot of similarities with MH Stories 1, but this time attention is not drifted in varios plots, but on a single one and they handled it perfectly this time. Graphics, monster designs and environment were upgraded a lot and a really important point is that they made the type of attacks mechanic make sense now, there is no more random type attack changes. Also, ending is really epic and the cameos from the previous game were really good.
I was not impressed when started the game, but after finding out a bit of the story and playing through the events of the house and various bosses I was greatly surprised. This game has simple combat mechanics and is really entertaining. The only thing I didnt really like was the way to get the true ending for chapter 3. Still a good game.
I was expecting some half baked game but I got something better, not super good, but better. Overall is a really solid game, with simple but challenging combat gameplay that allows you to play however you like and with 2 classic upgrading systems based on money and experience. Aesthetics are good, designs seems pretty classic too and story is not bad but its not the best either, its just OK. As I was saying, everything is too classic, and that makes the game feel kind of old, even when it came out 2 years ago. Also, colletables and design level are super simple and it feels like it comes from a much older game. And this, in addition to not being able to go back to certain areas to collect things and some bugs that affected one specific bossfight, makes this a just above avarage game. Still, Vampires + Cowboys APPROVED!
The other two games were overall good. But this one does not feel quite well.I found it counter intuitive, and the level design was not that good in my opinion.
I played the demo and since then I really wanted to play the game. Sad it is so short, but it is still a really really good game. Nicely programming themed, nice puzzles and some kind of portal style to the whole game. Recommended.
Epic Games Store deleted my save but I was near the end of the game so I can ginve my opinion. It is a really simple but solid game. Cyberpunk aesthetics, fast and precise gameplay, nice action and really ability demanding, but not very difficult. I was really liking it.
I started playing this without interest, but after leaving the game for some days and coming back, my interest started growing little by little. It was really fun, art style, animations, design and enemies are really good, and I think it is the most appealing part of the game. Gameplay aspect was kind of simple, but this king of metroidvania/souls games are like that. As always, I would have appreciated a lot more of context and narrative, but it was still good to navigate trough the mistery. Bad things in my opinion are: near the end of the game it gets a little bit boring, but the end is exciting, but near the end theres another trouble for me, and it is the difficulty spike for the 2 last bosses, that compared to the rest of the game, they are extremely difficult, but nothing that a lot of tries and patience cannot do. And last but not least, the secondary missions. I think I completed like 2 from maybe 8 or 9 I spotted but had no clue how to complete, guess it is my fault for not spending a lot of time re visiting previous areas.
Came to this game for the first time some years after finishing Automata. It as really cool, and everything is generally good. You can feel Yoko Taro's essence and his weird ways of telling a story. Recomendation: get all endings, it really is worth it. Negative things... performance and some crashing issues. You gotta make sure you save time to time or else your progress might get lost.
It was a really fun game, lots of things to do, and whole world of mechanics and management to do, but all that was also my enemy, too much things that took my attention. It is still a really good, game. Really good design and execution, great mixed gameplay and good art direction. I was hopping less from this game, so I was greatly surprised. Recommended.
I was hopping for something a little bit better than AC Chronicles China, but I found something not even as good. The gameplay here is a little bit more dynamic as this is not an introductory game, but the story is just not good, too shallow. Still nice to have a short AC game to play.
Waiting for this to come out since the first announcement was completely worth it.
Every single aspect of the game is great. Graphics 10/10. Gameplay 10/10. Skill tree 10/10. Design 10/10. Enemies and bosses design 10/10.
The game takes some tiny things from the recent 2 God of War Games and has tiny bits of the Souls experience but overall is a really original, fun and more Hack n Slashy game than people think.
There were only 2 issues that I had. First lighting, but I know for sure that is a thing of my Graphics Card. And second, I didn't really liked Chapter 6 map, it was a little empty in my opinion but still great to be able to use de flying cloud.
This is a masterpiece.
Playin this in 2024 was a little bit hard but still was a fun experience.
The game does not outstanding graphics and has a rather simple gameplay but it was fun and the stories is not bad either. The design of the monsties, armour, weapons, and ladscapes is really good, and was overall an experience that went from down to the top. Recommended if you are a fan of Monster Hunter, if not, it might be skippable.
Definitely not what I was expecting from the Team that brought us Borderlands. Humor did not change, and thats good, but every gameplay aspect was damaged with the addition of all the D&D stuff that could have been managed differently. Characters were not memorable and the "shooter looter" aspect was not good, I asume beacause of the luck aspect that you had to level up by collecting dices. The game had a lot of bugs also. I enjoyed it mostly cause I played it with friends.
I was expecting this game to be just like the last the previous one, but this game blew my head away.
The graphics and overall design are just as amazing as the previous one, but this time the developers excelled at crafting the map, it is really amazing, beautiful, clear and fun to traverse. Now to speak about the characters and story... we already know that characters are not the core, but this game did a great job including a lot of different types of NPCs that little by little, do a great job at expanding the Lore that we already know and the new one, that I have to say, is also better.
Music and sound is OK as the previous one without much change and is respectable. Now to finish, gameplay is almost perfect. The amount of abilities is just right, almost every single one of those is really worth using. The game does a really good job at giving you the abilities in the right moment and going back to places you were not able to go trough before is not a torture. Also, now we have a little bit more collectables but the addition that made the game more enjoyable for me was the secondary missions. It was the one thing the previous one was lacking, but now every single thing this game has is cohesive and makes playing it really entertaining. Nothing bad to point out to be honest.
A really good series to recomend.
First I wanna talk about the things I consider are not good at all. Starting with the graphics, which I was really hopping the game not to look like it did in the first trailer, but sadly it did not get a big improvement, I was really hopping for more regarding the graphics. Now the Open world is not really a thing HAlo should focus in my opinion. The world feels kind of empty and not interesting even tho you have quite a lot of repetitive things to do, focusing on single missions as always would have lead to a much better level design that I think is another thing this game lacks. Bosses were kind of generic excluding The Herald and Escharum. And is also safe to say that the game has some bugs and problems with lighting but those are not bad. Now to speak about things I liked... The gameplay was amazing, very dynamic with the addition of the grappling hook and the other habilities, and the variety of weapons was amazing. Also the characters, they were few but very charismatic, I wish the Elite that had the red energy sword was a little bit more explored, but the mix of a pilot, the new AI, Master Chief and Escharum/The Herald was good enough, and lead to a not excellent but good story line. I still don't find this game a good Halo secuel, but it is still enjoyable and entertaining.
I think this game is just OK. I think its lenght is perfect for the kind of game it is but it sadly has quite a few things that I dont really like.
First, its view is isometric and second, the plot is quite not explained and really abstract, even tho I appreciate the space for interpretation I needed more information tbh.
Now the good things: Music, art style and gameplay. These are really remarkable, but it does not do the thing completely for my personal tastes. Still a good game tho.
I was not expecting to have such an entertaining game. I bought it cause I found it by luck, and the comments and reviews were hilarious, but the game is really worth a try whenever you want to relax from other games and just chill and enjoy some kinky anime art... recommended.
There is really no need to talk about the graphics, it is really astonishing. That is the real power of Unreal Engine 5 used in the right way. The only personally not so good design decisions are the default and exagerated film grain and the most anoying thing I've seen in gaming: chromatic aberration. The game is still a 10 in graphics but I wish I could turn those 2 things off. Sound is the other strong point of the game. Voice acting and the way they used the binaural audio was again, executed flawlessly. Now for the rest of the game... I have to say I was not a fan of the step back Ninja Theory took while developing the combat and the puzzles. Combat is far way simpler here. I understand this is not an action focused game, but why taking a step back when the first title was already good and a little more complex? I dont understand. Regarding the puzzles, I just have to say that I was hoping for more challenge and obviously, more variety, we had just more of the same of the previous game and one new mechanic. To finish something good... Characters and story were really good, Thorgster is my MVP and I felt that we really dived into Senua's traumas. The only not so good thing... the ending, but I'm happy it is still open for what I think would be a final title. Lets hope for the best.
There's nothing much to say about this game. It is a very entertaining old school Beat 'em up. It is really enjoyable, avarage level design and you can play with 3 friends (I played alone :'c) and thats it. It follows the general story ofevery other Scott Pilgrim media, but it has different endings depending on the character you use. Aside of that, the game only has one flaw for me. The difficulty has 2 sides, the first 3 or 4 levels are kind of difficult, until you unlock the upgrades, after that the game becomes really freakin easy.
I finished this game after 43 hours. As always, I will start by talking about the graphics, general design, and mapping. To begin, the graphics overall are amazing, the world, objects, characters, and enemies have good textures and very good detail, and they took great care of the battle animations of each enemy no matter how small the enemy was, and obviously Eve animations also. The map design is incredible, I think it is a perfect combination of open and closed maps that are neither too intricate nor too simple, each map has its own personality and aesthetic. Now the design, starting with the NPCs, I think they are quite good, some better than others but overall they are good. On the other hand, the enemies are another story, I think they are creative, detailed, and have truly incredible designs that match the story and their location. Furthermore, highlighting Eve's design, it is amazing, as well as all the clothing and different outfits she can wear. Some better than others of course, but the clothing designs are a 10/10 for me. Moving to another topic, I'm going to talk about sound and music. The combat and ambient sounds in general are quite good, as well as the sounds produced by the enemies, but the game stands out particularly for the music, which is literally perfect. Although it really reminded me of the NieR series, Stellar Blade has its own personality, and the further you progress in the game, the more the songs differentiate themselves and establish the game's personality. To finish with the aspects that I liked the most, I will talk about the mechanics. Stellar Blade uses a fairly basic camp system, but it works correctly. The camps are intelligently and conveniently scattered in both linear and open maps. The relationship system with the vendors is another positive point of the game, but they could have exploited it a bit more, making it a little more difficult to level up the relationship and enabling most vendors sooner, near to the beginning of the game. Now, the aspect that impressed me the most, the combat. For me, there is only one thing to say, the combat in this game approaches perfection and it is extremely satisfying. Now let's move on to the aspects that are not particularly good but, in my opinion, do not affect the overall game score. First, the facial animations, which, in my opinion, could have been better worked on. At various moments, I felt that the characters wanted to express strong emotions, but the voice acting (in Korean) is significantly better than the animations and they do not seem to be so related. This can be accompanied by the lack of resolution in the characters' faces. Second, Eve's personality, which at certain moments feels a bit empty, but then has moments where it feels quite good and lively. And finally, the story and dialogues. I think the developers went for the simple way, creating a rather straightforward story, but it is noticeable that they do not have much experience in terms of narrative and script, as sometimes the conversations feel aimed towards a child audience. This aspect improves as the story progresses, twisting the plot and revealing many secrets, but it is a point that could be improved for a future secuel, which seems to be confirmed. Now, lets highlight the points that I found truly bad. Firstly, the fast travel system, which more than bad, is uncomfortable but functional; they should make it easier to have access to each fast travel point. Finally, the aspect that I really hated, platforming. The game does not define this aspect well, and it is very easy to fall off platforms even if you have jumped correctly. Additionally, certain actions like climbing ropes or balancing and jumping from ropes can have recurring bugs that slightly damage the experience. Even with those negative aspects, the game is a truly solid 9 for me, taking inspirations from games like NieR, Bayonetta, and Sekiro, but Stellar Blade truly has its own personality that shines with its own light. You can see the love and attention to detail that Shift Up put into developing this game; truly recommended.
