Turn off the Exp Share and witness the hardest Pokémon game to ever come out. Loved every second of it. Great music, great region (finally the routes are curvy and not just straight lines) and a good story. Post-game is also quite well done (could've been a little better, though). Haven't played Sun/Moon. If you have, then this game will probably lose one point for being too similar to previous titles.

A solid entry in the whole series. Nicely continues the stories of both Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice. There are 6 cases in total (one of them being DLC but totally worth it) and all of them are interesting in their own right. There are no "mindblowingly amazing" cases like in AA1 or AA3, though.

This is a very fun and quite an amazing game, but it is way too hard. I'm a bad player and I got frustrated very shortly after starting (reaching the first boss), so I stopped playing because it wasn't fun doing the same passage over and over again and dying every time. It's a good metroidvania game, but the difficulty is quite unforgiving. Even some regular enemies can kill you super easy (like the one guarding the first boss). I am not an extremely good gamer either, so that also counts towards that. if you like metroidvania games and enjoy some challenge - this is a 9/10 game for you. But if you wanted something more relaxing (like I did) you will likely be disappointed.

An overall amazing game in practically all aspects. The narration is perfect, the destinies of family members are both sad and realistic as you live through their final days and the game always manages to bring something new to the table. The only negative is the length of the game, as you will finish it in 2-3 hours only. But will those be 3 hours full of enjoyment and great ideas! Sometimes, it's a little cryptic and it's hard to understand what's actually going on, but other than that, it's a superb experience from the beginning until the end!

A typical visual novel with nothing really special in it. It's not a dating sim, just a VN, so there is no development for your character, you only pick between choices. Some notes: - quite short - you can date both girls and guys - graphics could have been better - don't expect much nudity or quality erotic screens There are certainly many better visual novels than this one, so I'd recommend to skip this one. Try practically any other VN instead. I finished one route and wasn't interested enough to go for the other ones. And the way the game repeatedly suggests that you can date guys is weird to me as a hetero male. i did basically nothing special with some of the guys but they still wanted to date me even though there was barely any interaction. Simply, it's a weird game.

A game that puts you into the shoes of a villain named Crow. The main hook is you being able to play as a villain and be like a boss in certain scenes. However, the game plays like a normal platformer - and a boring one, unfortunately. The moments when you feel like a boss are sparse and don't feel that good - because the enemies are too strong, so you don't feel like a ****'s just a boss fight like any other. The rest is mediocre at best. Imagine a Mega Man game gone bad (Mighty no 9, anyone?). This is a similar case. Moreover, the game seems to be quite short (3 hours) and the replayability should be you repeating levels over and over and trying to get the best score. The game would have to be fun for us to want to do that, though.

A game that is meant to be a sequel to a one-level free game called Kiwi 64. If you can, play that first. This, Macbat 64, is a really well done game that nicely captures the N64 era. It has 10 regular levels + 3 bonus ones that are unlocked after beating the main story. The levels are however very short and may take up only 5 minutes. For the price that it costs, it is not worth it I'd say. However, if you are interested in 3D platformers, you may enjoy this game even if it's not in sale. + fun gameplay - 10 main levels + nice 3 bonus levels + some hidden collectibles - quite short (1.5 hours or less to 100%)

+ Longer + More bosses + Bigger variety in areas + Harder + You have to find Estus Shards to get Flasks - Still a bad port showing xbox buttons - The **** delay between pressing a button and blocking/attacking (this warrants at LEAST -2 points) - Similarily to DS1, target switch is horrible - there is none - Sometimes the difficulty is plain insane, definitely the hardest game I've played yet - gave up, way too difficult... This would have been a 10/10 game for me if it wasn't for the **** DELAY that makes some parts downright stupid, unfair, impossible and makes the game million times harder. Situations that XBOX players would be able to deal with without serious problems will murder you because you have to wait 2 seconds for your character to block or attack. You'll get used to the crappiness after some time, but that does not mean that you will not die because of it. You will die because of it, you will die lots. It's better than DS1 in practically everything, but the stupid delay makes this game fall to the same level as DS1. There is no official fix for that, unfortunately. 8/10 A 10/10 game ruined by stupid delay and artificial difficulty in many places.

One of the only two games (the other one being Tales of Symphonia) that I have played where the further I got the more I wished for it to end. I spent about 36 hours in this game and I did not even 100 % completed it. At first, I was looking forward to playing this game every day. Later on, I was playing just to get to the end finally. The longer I played, the more annoyed I got. Some notes: - bad controls and camera - fun gameplay - at first but then it gets tedious - nice characters - frustrating elements (mostly minigames which are boring and overly hard but required to 100 %) - 5 worlds + hub (expandable) - pretty large - easy to get lost - each world may take even 8 hours to finish - it's simply too long - should've made more varied levels - if you take your time, the game is actually very long - not optimized for PC (K/M) - Xbox buttons instead and the B doesn't even exist!!! - cannot even rebind!! - this means that if you are in a conversation with a Yes/No choice you have to reset and go back to HUB because you get lost in the never-ending loop of "Yes choice" - if not for the minigames and gigantic worlds, it would've been a 9 - no shadow when jumping most of the time! - leads to many unnecessary deaths - out of the 5 worlds I only enjoyed 2 (3rd+4th)

From the three levels that I played, I noticed that this game is basically a Project IGI remake with better graphics but made a lot more difficult. As if Project IGI was not already difficult enough. Enemies in this game can see you from a great distance and are super precise when shooting and hit you all the time even if you try jumping around like an idiot. This makes each mission largely frustrating, as each enemy can kill you by himself. If an enemy sees you, it is basically a certain death. So, you should use stealth, but that's almost impossible as well, as there are so many enemies that it is very difficult to get through the levels unseen. In the original game, it was possible to do the missions by killing everyone. This cannot be done here, as it will surely lead to your death. The levels are remakes of the ones in IGI and the objectives are the same. You cannot save the game during a mission (as in the original game). You can take multiple approaches towards each mission which is a plus. Well, if you are ready to take on this challenge, good luck to you! I'll rather remember the original game. Rather than trying this frustratingly difficult game, i would suggest replaying the old game instead. I deduced points for the brutal and unfair difficulty, some strange bugs (such as enemies getting stuck in wooden doors or my character climbing a ladder but not being able to get off it properly - and he kept climbing to the roof instead of the tower platform). Also, points were deduced for being a simple remake and not trying new levels. Maybe there are some original levels in the game later on, but unfortunately I don't have enough patience to test it out. The final thing I want to mention - I wasn't a fan of the graphic upgrade, as everything sort of blended together for me - it was hard to recognize enemies etc. Also, the use of your mini map is done in a very slow manner and you have to zoom in way too much in order to see your enemies. Your binoculars do not show enemies either. TLDR: Play Project IGI and if you want to torture yourself, play this game instead.

I bought this game during Steam Sale and let me tell you, it was well worth the money. Not only do you get a 50+ hours story, but around 6 DLCs and an add-on campaign as well. That's not all though, as this game is very well done in all aspects, the combat is enjoyable, the world has ideal size and is not too big and not too small, the character interactions among party members are amazing (and include romance options and sex), the story is good (even though not that original) and the music is okay as well. There are tons of dialogue choices and ways to progress through the game, even though there are not that many areas, you are basically free to visit them in whatever order you like. There are even six different beginnings depending on which race and profession you choose. The best part of the game for me was a trip to the Fade dungeon which was basically like playing a 3D adventure game, a nice change of game play for a little bit. Now for some negatives: The DLCs are mostly not that entertaining, unfortunately, but that was to be expected. The story is not very original. Not all party memebers are equally entertaining, I only like 1/2 of them. It may get a little repetitive in some longer dungeons and there is one part of the main story, Orzammar, that felt way too dragged out, as it was a neverending stream of caves full of enemies. I was not a fan of the random encounters with enemies on the world map The biggest negative of the whole game: In Silverite Mine, my game got bugged and I lost all of my equipment on the main character! Had to search for fixes. Watch out for this! Don't save your game in Silverite Mine!

A pretty good platformer that however does not compare to Rayman Origins. Legends is much easier, lacks the sense of progression present in the first game and does not have upgrades for Rayman. The hub is just a set of portraits (instead of the world map in Origins) and most levels are both easy and not better than Origins levels. Even though this game contains 2/3 of Origins, those levels were made easier and thus, worse. When the game finally gets good, you realize that you are at the end. The final boss is weird and the final world is a disappointment with artificial difficulty. Moreover, Murfy levels are pretty annoying and not well implemented. There are no new treasure chase levels or mosquito shooting levels, instead there are invasions (short time attack levels) and music levels (which are great). Despite everything I've written, the game is still loads of fun and one of the better platformers of the recent era. Origins did it better, though.

I loved this episode because of the clever writing and because of uncertainty - you will constantly wonder if you are doing the right thing or not and that is what counts in a game like Life is Strange. Get ready to play with time for the one last time ... and do your best in saving as many people as you can from the horrible disaster that lies in wait.

Having just finished the game, I was like "WTF" at the end (even though I guessed half of the ending beforehand). I really do not want to spoil anything in this review, I'll just say the following: - Some photos are really hard to get - It is by far the longest episode in the series so far - It nicely combines elements from previous episodes and brings something new to the table (not gonna tell you ... :)) - Certain portions of the story are kind of slow this time, though. - And there was no suspense moment throughout the episode, not counting the final scene. So, I'd say it does not compare to the previous episodes. The first episode felt fresh and new and introduced all the characters and the premise of the story to us and did it in an amazing way that made me get interested in the whole plot. 9/10 The second episode felt worse than the first one, but managed to get on the same level of the first one, as you could actually take part in the drama at the end of the second episode and the impact of your actions was really big. 9/10 The third episode showed some new game play elements and the ending was simply amazing. 10/10 The fourth episode follows in the footsteps of the third one, once again introducing some new game play elements and returning a few elements from other episodes, but fails in presenting any actually thrilling moment that you can have an impact on. Some puzzles are quite annoying and the middle part kind of drags on. 8/10 But, do not let that discourage you, it is still an amazing episode in an amazing series of games, it's just ... not as good as Episodes 1-3. I'm super excited for the final episode, though. It looks like things are going to get super interesting. Update (07.02.16): Having replayed Episode 4 I decided to increase the score by one point. It is still the weakest of the episodes, but I have had my share of fun with Episode 4 after knowing what to do in several puzzles that are in this episode.

A decent game. You can play as all three characters, it is a standard 3D action adventure where you gather items to create new inventions to overcome obstacles. It is basically really similar to the Harry Potter games, at least the first three ones. You run around, collect items, get new skills, explore surroundings to find secrets, fight bad guys ... The game is quite short, it is quite enjoyable, but not memorable in any way. The only slightly unique thing is the item-collecting as you actually always have a list of items that you have to gather which resembles some traditional point-and-click adventure games, making this game a real 3D action ADVENTURE game. :D If it actually followed the books and told the whole story, that would have been a completely different case. Unfortunately, it is just a game version of the movie. The movie was good, I liked it, even though I was not the fan of the mixing of the first three books into one story. The same goes for the game. It's a mix of everything that's quite good ... but because we've seen it many times already, it is not spectacular.

Horrible controls (I mean it) and brutal difficulty make this game super annoying to play. Also, if you were looking for a pure platformer, you made a wrong choice, as this game is full of action and almost feels like a shooter a lot of times, you even use the mouse to aim and shoot stuff at enemies. Nah, cannot recommend this game. Still looks decent but unless you are a fan of Alice's world, you will not get any satisfaction from the experience found in this game. Even as far as 3D action adventures go, there are far better choices, such as the first Harry Potter game or even Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, keep in mind that both of those games are not that great either, but still better.

Compared to Bioshock 1: + More personal story, in my opinion better + More varied locations, including water portions where you swim around + More incentive to switch weapons (that are more interesting) + More enemies + An actual difficulty (you no longer kill everyone with the first weapon, you have to hack, set traps, shoot, drill, take photos ...) + Overall, the levels are longer (even though there are not as many of them) and their design is better, each level feels like a large adventure that happpens on your journey and usually each level is around 1-2 hours long if you explore everything + Better hacking minigame that can be solved every time + A good ending portion of the game with several surprises - The Little Sister business is more annoying this time and takes longer (you have to find them, use them to harvest 2 corpses, then return them, then find another, 2 more corpses etc.) - Horrible map screen with overlapping floors that will confuse you a lot and stupid zoom that does not allow you to see the whole map on screen. - Once again, way too many upgrades, out of which most of them you are not going to use (despite that, it's slightly better than in the previous game) - Worse photography feature that does not let you know how much you've progressed in research, you have to look it up yourself - Considerably shorter than the first game, especially if you don't explore - and still few hours shorter even if you do - Vastly similar to B1 in mechanics, more innovations would have been nice (still underwater, you still collect plasmids and tonics, all the shops are the same, you also fight against splicers, you still rescue LS etc.), they could've thought of new things while keeping the soul of the first game, this feels a little lazy, especially when you consider you did this in B1, including playing as a Big Daddy and harvesting ADAM) - It's quite unrealistic how weak the character you play as is when even the basic Splicers can practically kill you, even further in the game. I know he's just a guy in a suit of BD, but still. In B1 the suit raised your defenses immensely, here it feels like you're walking with a T-shirt. - Subtitles often appear too late - Crashing issues Overall, it's better in almost every important aspect compared to its predecessor - better story, better environments, better difficulty, more weapons and enemies. The only real negatives are the Little Sisters (you'll get used to that though, moreover it is a side quest) and the map. LS would be fine if you could keep one and rescue everything but it's stupid that each one can only gather 2 adam resources. Because you have to backtrack a lot as you have to capture all LS, that makes the horribleness of the map screen a lot more obvious, because you'll be having a hard time to figure out where the hell to go. Lower floors SHOULD NOT be visible on the map. The colors are too similar as well. And the zoom is bad. The Bioshock 1 map wasn't ideal either (those arrows were somehow confusing), but it was definitely much better than this mess. Because I used the map a lot so as not to miss anything, it pissed me off enough to warrant a point loss. The other point loss is for various reasons, mostly for crashing without giving any sort of error. 8/10 as opposed to B1's 6/10

This game is hard to judge. It starts of pretty good with an interesting premise, world and game mechanics, but ultimately, it does not deliver, as it jumps to the levels of tediousness and mediocrity in all of these areas. Premise: The story is told in a series of diaries that you have to find while exploring Rapture. It's pretty basic and most of the things you're gonna hear are not important. Also, it's annoying that there's a diary around every corner, so you have to stop everywhere and listen to those tracks, it breaks the flow of the game play. In Deus Ex, I did not mind stopping at each and every computer and hacking everything because it was fun and you were rewarded with codes etc., here it's just redundant and boring. World: To be honest, I am no **** for underwater towns, so while I can appreciate the art direction and such, it is hard not to see that all areas are fairly similar and all of the enemies are just light variations, so you'll be going through the levels killing the same enemies over and over again. The levels tend to be quite large and give you some room to explore which is something I like about this game, but ultimately ... there is not much to find. Yeah, you can find another Plasmid or Tonic here and there, but you'll find so many of these that they do not feel like unique upgrades. You'll have full equips and tons of spare ones that you're never going to use. Wouldn't it be better to have 5 actually usable ones that can be used all the time rather than having 15 or such out of which more than half is useless? Game mechanics: The Little Sisters mechanic can get pretty annoying, as sometimes you have to wait a long time for them to appear and if they see you, they can climb back into the holes and you have to repeat the process over and over again which is not fun. Also, the choice is meaningless as saving the girls gives you much better stuff overall so there is not point in killing them. Another problem is that in spite of having a large choice of ways to deal with enemies, using your weapons is a much more better choice rather than awkwardly trying to zap enemies (or using plasmids in general). Weapons are sure to kill. Especially your wrench. I practically use the wrench all the time and leave the guns for rare causes when wrench is not enough. The game even supports this style of game play by giving you wrench upgrades and limiting the ammo you can get. So, you'll be using a few weapons throughout the whole game and even though you have tons of other options to choose from, you will not use them, there is no reason to do so. The hacking is quite nice, but gets tedious later on and sometimes the generated puzzle cannot be solved. Some more testing would have been nice. What I actually like, though, is the fact that you can take photos of enemies to analyze them and get bonuses for doing so. It's fun trying to take photos, even though the enemies all look so similar that you can never be sure which you've already photographed. Final verdict: Let's sum this up, this game tries to come up with a lot of ideas, such as unique plasmids, photography etc., but never goes anywhere with them. That means that the initial feeling of enthusiasm towards this game disappears and you're left with a game that's full of: walking through similar areas, fighting the same enemies over and over again and using like 3 weapons through the whole course of the game. Unfortunately, I got bored in like 1/3 through the game already, but I kept playing and that meant that all the faults and boredom became even more tedious. Right now, I've finished 50% of the game and I haven't had much fun with this. I'll probably finish this game, but I highly doubt that my rating is gonna change, I'll update this review in case it does, though. 6/10 Edit: Okay, I beat the game. There was another part that I liked, Fort Frolic. The penultimate level was also quite interesting, because you had to work with Little Sisters, but it dragged on for way too long, because they walk too slow. The ending video is nice. However, I have become so strong with my wrench that not even Big Daddies could damage me at this point with the Freeze upgrade + Health recovery, so the rest of the game was super easy. No interesting bosses, no interesting enemies, no interesting upgrades (only improved versions of the ones you have making the older one quite useless) ... I didn't like the "plot twist" with Atlas and the areas revolving him, as it was obvious from the beginning that he was a bad guy. Would've been more interesting if they did something different. The final boss was simply lame, I wrenched him in like 20 seconds. So, in the end, it's still a decent game, but I am not changing my score of 6/10. Hopefully, Bioshock 2 will be better.

The game is long enough and even contains some post-game, which is quite short, but still fun to play. This game feels like a fairy tale (or a fantasy tale) in which you embark on your adventure to become a hero, meet several returning characters on your way and maybe accomplish your dream at the end. The controls in this game are not bad, even though they could've been much better, traversing through menus is annoying, as everything is split up into sub-menus. Graphics and audio are nice.

However, all (and I mean ALL) resolutions of plot points in this game are only solved by three means, either a duel, potion making or a flying sequence. All three mini games are surprisingly good and that's why the game is better than the fifth one, nevertheless, you'll still get bored of doing the same thing over and over again. The thing is, this is a large improvement over the mess that the Goblet of Fire was, but compared to the first three games, this game is bad. I have to say that this game has probably the second best designed Hogwarts in the whole series with the castle being really large and faithful to the movies but on the other hand it is WAY too large and it is not fun to search for every hidden secret like it was in the first three games because it takes forever in this game. Also, the major part of the game play revolves around doing fetch quests to gain members for the Dumbledore Army. These quests are all pretty boring and because they require you to run from one place to another, doing some sort of a short jumping sequence or something else that's largely unimaginative and then running back, followed by running somewhere else again, doing something little and running back and repeating this for like 28 times or so, you can imagine the level of BOREDOM yourself. Summary: Great looking castle, super repetitive and boring gameplay.

This is one of the worst games in the Harry Potter series, as it completely changed the formula of the previous games and instead of being able to explore the castle and learn new spells, this is just a series of action-packed levels with a minimal attempt at a story. The levels are linear and the AI is pretty bad, so expect Ron and Hermione to get into a lot of trouble. There are only 10 levels or so and some of them are pretty short. Also, as a port it's pretty bad and it gives you very little freedom as far as options go. Do yourself a favor, skip this "game" and play the first three ones instead.

This game is better than Sorcerer's Stone, but worse than Chamber of Secrets. The new game play element in this game is the ability to change a playable character with each of them knowing different spells. This makes the game more interesting in some parts and the characters can even cast super strong spells by casting them simultaneously. There's a decent amount of cards to be collected and even more things other than Bertie Bott's Beans which is welcome. The spell challenges in this game are fun as well and the castle and the surroundings are quite well done, even though not as fun to explore as in CoS. Unfortunately, the whole game feels much easier when compared to the previous one and is also much shorter which is a shame.

A large improvement over its predecessor. The game is longer, the spell challenges are much better and more fun, there are fun side quests (Quidditch and wizard duels) and more cards to collect that are actually very well hidden but even if you miss some you can still get everything. Even the Hogwarts Castle is filled with secrets this time making it actually worthwhile to go exploring, as no longer you are forced to walk through limited areas. A pretty good game even if you are not a HP fan.

Let's compare this to the PC version. It's a longer game, meaning that you'll get to experience many more moments from the movie. Overall, this is a bigger game, there are more cards to collect, more spells to obtain, more quests to accomplish, more items to obtain and help you on your journey and more interactions with the characters from the universe, However, the areas are quite dull and because of that, the game feels boring. The Hogwarts Grounds are quite big, but for the most part, they're utterly empty making traversing through them a chore. The students have only like 7 different sentences that they repeat over and over again when you go talk to them. The school itself is nothing special either with most of the classes looking the same. Gone is the exploration element of the PC version, where you could explore each area and search for hidden pathways etc., here there are always set objects that you can use spells on, e. g. you can use Flipendo on glass jars and Alohomora only on doors with yellow metal locks, so there is no point in experimenting. The Spell challenges are definitely better than in the PC version, but unfortunately require you to repeat them in order to find everything because except for the final one, in each challenge some shields are hidden in unreachable areas that only become reachable by gaining more spells. Compared to the PC version: + Longer + More things to do + Better character interactions - Prefects halting your progress at night - Overall boring setting - empty school, school ground and student interactions, repeated classroom structures - Large focus on backtracking So, all in all, this is practically comparable to the PC version. The PC version had more exploration, but had limited areas, while this game has no exploration in large areas. Pick your poison, then. I still think this game is slightly better because it's longer and more events from the book are in the game. However, only the main quest is interesting, the side quests and such are boring as hell.

It's a decent game, but it does not bring anything extraordinary to the table. The levels are completely linear, the game is short and easy and it feels slightly boring all the way through, however, if you like the HP franchise, you might squeeze some fun of it nevertheless. Even with that, I still find this to be just an above average game. Note: The PS1 and PS2 versions of this game are completely different, so check those out. At least the PS2 version is slightly better, I can confirm that for you. Haven't played the PS1 yet.

Easily one of the best platformer games, in Psychonauts you play as Raz, a boy that has unique psychic powers and wants to become a Psychonaut (something like a super hero). In order to do that, he has gone to a training camp. This game excels in story telling, humour and the overall complexity. You can walk around the camp and talk to all children, you will be visiting people's minds to solve their problems and take part in uncovering the huge conspiracy that's happening in the world. The platforming in this game is simply brilliant and level feels completely different and is filled with unique ideas. Just to give you an example, you'll visit a level that is basically a large cube, as the person whose mind you're going to visit is an organized one. Combat is fun as well and there are a lot of things to collect in this game if you are a fan of that. You'll be acquiring new powers and abilities as you go, making you a better and better fighter. The game is pretty long, the art style is great, the story and characters are simply phenomenal, all the levels are unique and varied and the game never stops to be great fun. if you haven't played this game yet and you like platformers, this is your dream come true. I didn't gave this game a 10 because of the following reasons: - No sequel even though the ending suggests continuation - Some portions can be quite annoying (such as the bull level, good luck finding everything there) - The bosses are too easy - The controls are not always precise

One of the best games I've played. This game is so amazing! Take control of Jade, an amateur photographer, and set on the adventure of your lifetime! You'll be taking photos of everything that moves, fighting bad guys, exploring the large world, fighting enemies and bosses, collecting pearls, participating in minigames and races and so much more. The characters are all likeable and unique and the whole game is simply charming. You've never played anything like this before (and likely never will apart from this game, as similar games are practically not made). The game is quite long if you want to explore everything and find all the pearls and you will definitely love each minute of it. Both camera and controls are without any serious problems, so there is literally nothing that could ruin the experience for you ... Maybe except the fact that there's still not a sequel out there. A great mix of platforming, exploring, photography, collecting and combat. The story is deep, the music is great, the characters are likeable and the world is fun to explore. So, do not hesitate any longer and play this game, you won't regret it!

Most of the time, a sequel is never as good as the original game. The first Ty game, despite not being largely original, brought to us a good platformer with top-notch level design and fun challenges. However, I feel that everything that was enjoyable in the first game is missing from this one. Even while playing the action-packed beginning, I already had a bad feeling about this game and was hoping for it to be just a way of introducing the story, but nope. This game is no longer a platformer. It's a mix of combat, racing and minigames. Gone is the great level design, now you'll either be exploring minimal areas with some sort of a minigame or completely linear pathways with tons of bad guys thrown in. The fact that you are doing missions and driving a car to get there instead of exploring the game world as you did in the first game is inexcusable. This is not what I expected from a sequel, I wanted more of the same, not a complete change of everything that I liked. Even the map screen looks horrible this time, it's like: "You know what? **** it, we've changed the whole thing already so nobody will give a damn about the map." I don't know, man. There is no reason to collect anything, because it is scattered all over the place and you have no location counters (it's basically the same thing as the pictures in the first game, which is something I hated). It's not like you have a reason to collect everything anyway. You can just repeatedly run around the town to collect opals (there are thousands of them now) and buy stuff. You don't need to do the rest. Despite what I've stated, there are two positives I can think of that ultimately do not change my opinion on the game, but I'll write them nevertheless: It looks like the character interactions are better than in the first game + there are new abilities and boomerangs in this game. That's about it. Everything else is worse. Unfortunately, if you liked the platforming aspect of the first game, I predict you will be largely disappointed with this game. And to make matters worse, the third game in the series follows the same formula as this one - mission-based gameplay, so you'll be bored with that one as well. You might as well skip it and play a better platformer. such as Rayman Revolution, Spongebob: Battle for the Bikini Bottom, hell, even Kao the Kangaroo 2 and Jak and Daxter: Precursor's Legacy with their bad jumping and camera controls are better, because they actually are platformers, not a mix of everything you never wished for.

On the first look, this game may seem really uninteresting. But don't judge it too fast, it's actually a really good game. In a world guarded by 5 talismans ... They somehow get separated and your mission as Ty is to find them all. Well, basically you only need to find 3 of them and the final 2 are given to you, but whatever. What this game excels in is the level design. The levels vary from linear, to semi-linear to completely open large levels. In all of these levels, you have to gather Eggs to power up your boomerangs that serve as your attack. You can do that by various ways, such as collecting 300 opals in each level, winning a race or saving 5 locked creatures. Each level also has their own special challenges or mini games that award you either Eggs or Cogs (you can use them to buy new types of boomerangs). Some levels are really large and can take you even 2 hours to complete if you wish to find everything. Fortunately, you have a level map in your menu screen that even shows you the locations of the Eggs. Ty does not have a large variety of attacks, he can either bite or throw boomerangs. So, it's up to you to progress in the story and obtain new boomerangs that give you additional powers. You'll get access to fire boomerangs, explosive boomerangs, electric ones and many more. A nice variety for sure. However, this game also has its flaws. There are only 9 regular levels (+ 2 other story levels and several boss levels) and unfortunately, most of them take place in repeating environments. You'll visit rainforests 3 times, snow world twice, sea world twice as well ... So, basically you'll be visiting areas with the same theme repeatedly which is a shame as the levels lose their uniqueness. The strange names of the levels as well as the boring character pictures on the loading screen do not help either. Talking about the characters, they are all pretty boring and unimaginative. You basically never get to even know them, as most of the characters will be standing in the levels giving you some kind of quests, but there is no proper introduction or good story events revolving them which is a shame, as you'll most likely not care about them. Another thing that I don't like is the largeness of some levels. This game has a certain type of collectibles - picture frames - which are really hard to find because they are invisible unless you have a particular boomerang equipped. Running around gigantic water levels while hoping not to miss a single picture (there is no counter for pictures per level, so you never know how many you can find in an area making it brutally hard to find them all - I actually found 249/250 and even when I played all levels again while following a picture guide and having the special boomerang equipped, I still could not find it and gave up) is pretty frustrating, even more so if you also want to find all 300 opals and cogs. The final problem I have is the camera, that's a common issue for most console games. There is no automatic camera and you have to control it on your own. Talk about lazy. To sum everything up, it is a fun game with superb level design and fun challenges. Completionists will have a blast (I certainly did). It has some issues (bad camera or bland characters), but it is an entertaining experience. + Top-notch level design + Interesting power ups + Fun side quests and missions - great variety + Some levels are linear, some of the are huge + Great mix between exploration, combat and collecting + Each level has its unique challenges + Map of each level in the menu - Bad camera - Boring characters - Repeated environments - Some collectibles are hard to find

If you are reading this, I hope that you have already played the previous two episodes, as they are both great story-based games which are rare to see nowadays. Moreover, the goal of the game has always been to revolutionize the impact of choices which is something you could have already experienced by playing episodes 1-2. I have to say that the individual episodes are doing an amazing job at what they are supposed to (bringing to us a realistic story that we are capable of experiencing on our own and change the future by our choices) and I gave a 9 to both Episodes 1 and 2. Keeping that in mind, I have to say that Chaos Theory is nevertheless the best episode so far. It is really hard to describe any episode of this series without giving away any spoilers, but: - Supposing you have seen the sneak peak at the end of Ep 2, you should already know that a large part of this episode takes part at night. Because of that, a nice feeling of tension is added to the story, as you have to walk around in the darkness using only the light of your mobile phone. It is quite reminiscent of some horror games and a welcome addition overall. - Also, it feels more like an adventure game, as there are more parts this time around where you have to gather items. There is more interaction with people and the surroundings this time around. - The ending part is simply amazing and a great idea overall. I love the direction this series is going and I no longer have doubts that this series will be long remembered as the first one that tried to attempt something slightly different and managed to do it in such a great way.

This game is basically Kao the Kangaroo 2, but slightly worse, as the port is rather bad. Worse camera and controls than on PC and that says something. There is a multiplayer mode, but good luck finding someone to play this game with as (I believe) each person needs to have their own UMD disc. The only remedy factor are the 4 new levels (aka a new world) exclusively designed for this game. The problem is that the first level of the "new batch" was the only bugged level in my game where certain collectibles simply did not appear and I was unable to finish it 100%. The second level is another chasing level with bad and delayed controls, followed by another gimmick level focusing on sliding, so once again, you'll be having problems with controlling your character. The boss fight is mediocre. All in all, if you can, play the original Kao 2 and watch the new levels on YT, because they are not worth the price of a full game.

Compared to the first game, this game is awesome. It's not short, the levels are well designed and look really nice, there are multiple worlds to go through, voiced cutscenes etc. The gameplay is mostly similar to Rayman Revolution - in each level you have a set of collectibles that you can get and after you finish a level you get to play another one, the levels are linear and filled with checkpoints. Another similarity is that there is also a hub (called Dark Docks), from which you go to your adventures. By collecting stars and crystals, you can upgrade your abilities or open bonus levels (which are quite bad honestly). As in Kao 1, there are boss battles in this game and except for the final boss, all the fights are laughably easy with bosses often telling you strategies on how to beat them (yeah, it's true). The problems with controls and camera remain, though. During some chase sequences or slide moments it is not hard to notice that the controls are rather stiff and do not respond the way they should, making mostly the sliding passages largely annoying even though they'd otherwise be easy. Unfortunately, this game has a lot of gimmick levels in which you are supposed to either race/chase/run or use a vehicle so you'll feel the stiffness of the controls quite a bit. It reduces the overall quality of the game and the fun experience. The problem with this game is that even though it is nice and fun, the bad controls and a complete lack of originality (as this game manages to use elements from other platformers and combine them, however, makes them inferior to the ones found in their proper games) make this platformer not that good.

An okay platformer. The characters are not very likeable and the levels are not that interesting either. The game contains 30 levels plus some bonus ones which are really hard to find. The difficulty of this game is quite high, fortunately there are three difficulty options to choose from. Weird controls and camera will make certain portions of the game a chore to play through. The bosses have their own levels and follow a clear pattern, making most of them really easy. Overall, quite nice graphics for its time and a decent length of the story, but it's not a very memorable game.

May 5, 2015
Even though I was not very impressed with P3, I decided not to give up and try Persona 4, as it was praised a lot more. So, is it a better game? Well ... It's hard to say. Positives: - Compared to P3, the characters and the story are slightly more interesting which is definitely a positive. - Visual novel/dating-sim portion of the game is as fun as in P3. Mixed opinion: - The super long boring Tartarus is no longer present (thank god), but on the other hand, this time you have to go through 8 or so dungeons whose floors are much bigger than in P3 and you have to do so without healing midway, so it's practically the same thing. - The combat is as dull and stupid as in P3 and the dungeons may have different visual look, but are still boring and there are only long hallways and rooms in the shape of a square to be found there. Negatives: - The gibberish in musical themes is pretty annoying. - Considering this is the 4th game in the series, I can't understand why the RPG elements in this game still **** so bad. Analysis is useless and doesn't do anything, enemies can inflict status changes on your whole party, thus preventing you from being able to recover, some enemies use 1-KO attacks that you cannot predict, when your hero dies you automatically lose the game and you cannot revive your hero even if you have a reviving skill in your party (probably the biggest **** in the whole game) etc. Once again, I have to say that the RPG part is bad and shouldn't be a part of this game. It should be a VN/dating-sim instead. - The ending is bad and the real killer's motive is stupid. - Persona Fusion never allows you to select the attacks that you want to have, thus making it better to have 2 Personas with different abilities as opposed to having a stronger Persona with only 1/4 of the abilities that you need. All in all, even though there are some improvements in this game, the fact that the RPG part of the game brings the game down still applies. The ruined ending does not help either. So, I have to give this game the same rating as P3. It's a **** RPG game, but a solid VN/dating-sim.

May 4, 2015
In this episode, Strong Bad's fun machine breaks and in order to fix it, he has to earn a lot of money. So, in order to do that, he decides to organize a music competition and win the whole thing. - Unlike the previous episode, this episode has several layers - first, you have to get everyone to take part in your competition and later, you have to make sure your band is the best one. It's quite a bit shorter than the previous episode, but there are slightly more things to do during Extended Play. - Certain max achievement requirements are super tricky and are practically sure to be missed without a guide. - Also, this episode does not contain the mini game in which you create your own Teen Girl Squad comics, even though the comics itself makes a return in some shape or form. Also, no extra game like the strategic field in the previous episode. - The bonus video mini game in this episode revolves around using a spaceship, shooting aliens and rescuing people and it's quite a challenge to beat the score of 45000 points. - Overall, I like the musical theme of the episode, however, I still feel that the previous two episodes were better and more "funny". The part where you have to sabotage each band is great, nevertheless, not as funny as you might expect, because certain characters' relationships change quite a bit during this episode. - Instead of being able to see card boxes as in the previous episodes, you have to use your microphone during this episode to make them appear. Basically, it's a big guessing game and it's not very fun. - The episode took me 6 hours to finish 100% and I had to replay it once as it was impossible to 100% the awesomeness during the first time through. So, for the slightly weaker substance of this episode and some missing features, I am going to reduce the rating to 7 for this episode. It's still fun, but the previous two episodes were simply better.

(As for SP1, this is a review of the Wii version). This game is a direct sequel to UC1, so basically you get to keep almost all of your progress from the first game and continue your adventure here. The islands in this game are bigger than in UC1, but they are also more boring (maybe because of that). Once again, you'll travel from an island to an island, you'll be collecting things and developing tools to progress further into the game. It's a large grind, but I loved it in this game. You can play as 9 characters in total in the story mode (I believe each of them has unique abilities, for example Brook can run over water, Nami can steal things, Franky can construct bridges, Zoro can cut vines etc.) and you can switch among them freely anytime. You can play as even more characters (including bosses) in the bonus VS mode and if you beat UC1, you can even play as characters from that game. Once again, you can cook food, collect bugs and insects or catch fish in this game and level up your character's attacks and stats. If you are a One Piece fan, the better for you, because you'll get to fight a lot of familiar enemies from the series. However, if you didn't 100% UC1, you will be playing Normal difficulty with upgraded characters, so watch out for that! If you did 100% UC1, prepare for the brutal difficulty of the Unlimited series, not unlike Dark Souls. Overall, a mix of fighting, exploring and item-hunting, basically a Monster Hunter game with One Piece characters.

(Note: This is a review of the Wii version, as that's nowhere to be found on this site for some reason!) This game is largely similar to Unlimited Adventure, but simply better, you get a proper hub to explore (Thousand Sunny, I love that place), there are more bosses to conquer, the environments looks better and you get to play as an additional character. Once again I have to say that this game actually feels like something the Once Piece crew would do on their quest - arriving at random islands, exploring them, developing things to progress further and battle a lot of enemies and familiar One Piece characters. The bosses in this game are hard as hell as in UA and are a blast to play. It's like Demon Souls in that aspect. I like One Piece but I am not a fanboy, nevertheless, I loved the gameplay. This is the game that I spent the most time playing without interrupting it, really crazy. I can totally understand that some people may find this game boring and tedious, because it's basically a large grind - hunting for items to progress further, but I couldn't help it - I still loved it. It's better than UA for sure. A WARNING, though, the 3DS version is said to be a bad port, so if you can, play the Wii version. Also, unlike the Japanese version which had both Cruise 1 and 2 on a single cartridge, for some dumb reason they decided to split it into two games outside of Japan again and cut 50% of the content. It has an additional Marineford mode over the Wii version which features the whole war and famous battles of that arc, so there's a little extra for you if you want to play the 3DS version.

It's really fun to play and I couldn't stop playing once I started, basically it's all just grinding, but for some reasons, I found it really fun.
