eFootball PES 20217
Sep 23, 2020
7.5/10 No, the sub-title doesn't serve to criticize the game, but to verify a fact. Football this year was very busy because of COVID-19 and the soap opera Lionel Messi. COVID-19, which still haunts everyday life, has postponed competitions, including UEFA Euro 2020, which has been postponed to 2021. And in relation to Messi, it was that soap opera about wanting to leave Barcelona and being tired with Josep's mistakes Bartomeu. And in the end, he ended up staying at the Catalunya club. It would even have your joke to see Messi leave Barça and after that, to see Konami changing the PES 2021 cover. But in any case, another year, another PES. And just like the title says, this PES 2021 eFootball PES Update is just a mere update of the PES 2020 eFootball. Konami saved on this year's edition of PES to prepare for the next-gen, that is, for eFootball PES 2022, which will use a new game engine. Graphics? Good but still the same. Controls? Virtually the same. Menus? Equals. Environment? Like eFPES 2020. At least Konami had the audacity to offer 20% discount on this game to those who had the PES 2020 eFootball. two Milan clubs, **** and AC Milan, including their stadiums, and partnered with AS Roma, in which the Stadio Olimpico was included in the lot. Liga NOS is still present in the PES series, although Nacional da Madeira (Madeira BP) is the only Portuguese team that is not licensed. Despite having moved down the division, clubs like CD Aves and V. Setúbal are present in this 2021 version. UEFA Euro 2020, which was supposed to have been in the PES 2020 eFootball, ended up in this PES 2021 Season Update eFootball. European teams are fully licensed. Also as a novelty, we have the inclusion of new stadiums such as Wembley Stadium, Gazprom Arena of Zenit and Arena do Grêmio, in addition to the already mentioned Stadio Olimpico of AS Roma. About the gameplay itself, yes, it is the same as the eFootball PES 2020 with some corrections and adjustments here and there, as it seems to me in the case of the first touches. And yes, I still enjoy the gameplay of eFootball, despite my frustrations (mostly my fault) that I have had at games. In my opinion, it remains smooth and fast. AI hasn't changed at all compared to the 2020 version. Regarding the Master League, despite being the same mode as always, we have more options in choosing the coach, as is the case with Josep Guardiola, Ryan Giggs and Frank Lampard. And of course we have the way in which we have to turn our player (original or not) into an ace. I refer to Become a Legend. It also remains the same as the version 2020. myclub, the mode most used by users today, also suffers from it. It's easy to build a great team without even going to the myClub store and buying coins. In the case of connection issues, I have no reason to complain and I had no problems when I played against Portuguese or Spaniards. Just put “Require Stable Connection” in the network connection restrictions. As always, Konami kept the usual Portuguese commentators Pedro Sousa and Luís Freitas Lobo, and it goes without saying that they are extremely repetitive and in the case of Luís Freitas Lobo it is terrible because it is noted that he is reading the paper. The same can be applied to comments in English; they are uninspired and quickly become repetitive. And this is it. As you can see, there are no relevant news beyond the licenses compared to last year's edition. Now for the most serious question. Is this PES 2021 Season Update eFootball worth buying? It is a difficult question to answer, especially for those who have already had eFootball PES 2020. I apologize to all readers for having always been using the word “same”, but there is no other way to describe it, although they were honest with the title of the game, and applied a discount to those who had the 2020 version. For those who never had the 2020 version, it is undoubtedly a recommended football game, but for those who have and had enough of playing it if more complicated to recommend. Verdict: It remains as good as the 2020 version, but lacks relevant news.

SnowRunner9
May 13, 2020
8.5/10 It is fascinating to see truck drivers who help us indirectly in our lives by contributing to the construction of bridges, the collapse of rocks, even the transport of consumables. And that is exactly what we are going to do in this SnowRunner, developed by Saber Interactive which is a direct sequel to MudRunner. This game has a sandbox component in the open world, which puts us transporting materials from one point to another. This is one of the main objectives of this SnowRunner, as well as making bridges and the like, but not only. Running competitions, avoiding damage to our vehicle and touring with our Scout vehicle are also part of this game. Go to the pumps to put the fuel in our vehicle. It sounds simple, doesn't it? You are very wrong because the real challenge is... to avoid getting stuck in the road. And believe me that you will be stuck several times. Please note that SnowRunner is a simulator. I have a thousand and one wonders about your simulation because most of what I have been analyzing is perfect, but it is something that I will talk about later. In this SnowRunner we have 3 huge regions of Michigan, Alaska and Taimir in Russia to explore. Although the game runs only at 30 FPS, it is visually beautiful and incredibly detailed. Even the movement of the mud is very well recreated. I'm going to start talking about one of the essential parts of this SnowRunner. I had said earlier that it was not easy to get from point A to point B, right? This is because, in addition to normal roads and secondary roads, we have paths with enormous elevations, muddy paths, submerged paths and paths with ice. To avoid these annoyances (as much as possible), sometimes the longest path is the simplest. An initial piece of advice I can give to beginners in this SnowRunner, is to start looking for upgrades for our vehicles and make part of the map visible through the watchtowers. This facilitates the preparation of the best route. If we are having difficulty with an elevation, in a place full of water or mud (or both), and if we have trees or poles close by, we can use them through our winch and pull the vehicle. And another thing that can help us get out of complicated mud situations is to put our vehicle in the slowest gear. In case we are stuck and have no solution, we always have the option to rescue that sends us directly to our garage together with our vehicle. And one more point, if we have any cargo in our vehicle and we want to return to our garage, we must remove the cargo, that is, we return to zero. Do not forget that we can rescue vehicles jammed through the winches. SnowRunner offers a huge variety of vehicles from Off-Roads, Scouts, Highways, Heavys and Heavy Dutys. Vehicles such as the Ford CLT9000, Chevrolet CK1500 or Azov 64-131 are present in the game. And each vehicle has its specific behavior. For example, the International Harvester Scout 800 (Scout) has immense speed, while the TUZ 420 “Tatarin” is not very fast, but has more torque, which is very useful in rough terrain. Another thing that helps a lot in most of these places, is the size of the tires. Large tires are easier to get out of these places, unlike small tires. As you can see, SnowRunner has the physics of the vehicles at the right point. Another point in favor of this SnowRunner is the customization of our vehicles. Engines, gearbox, suspension, tires, wheels, differential lock, AWD and frame addons, all of which can be customized depending on the level we are at and the upgrades we have taken. But for example, if we put a crane on our truck, it will obviously influence its power because of the weight. If the player is tired of playing Solo, he can always choose the online cooperative mode. But as not everything is rosy in this SnowRunner, being an open world, it is obvious that it have technical problems. For example, my PS4 crashed a few times during quiet travels I was taking. Despite these occasional situations, SnowRunner was a great surprise and is undoubtedly recommended for those who love simulators. Veredict: SnowRunner goes off a complicated path successfully.

Resident Evil 37
Apr 5, 2020
After the success of the Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom, unsurprisingly, released the remake of Resident Evil 3, a title originally released for PS1, PC, Dreamcast and, a few years later, GameCube. After finishing the campaign in about 5 hours and 20 minutes, it is time to say my justice about this new survival horror from Capcom. Does it live up to the original version? It is late September 1998, the day before the events of Resident Evil 2. Jill Valentine tries to escape from Raccon City, because chaos is in place. Due to Umbrella's secret experiences, the majority of the population has turned into Zombies. But Jill's life gets even more complicated when she is chased by a big, ugly, horrifying and tooth-armed monster called Nemesis. Along the way, Jill will meet Carlos Oliveira, and together, they will try to find a way to survive the terrible events. And more I don't say to spoil the surprise to those who never played the original. Resident Evil 3, like the remake of Resident Evil 2, uses the excellent game engine RE Engine and, as you would expect, says goodbye to the fixed cameras of the first Resident Evil. The third-person camera maintains the proximity to the style presented in the remake of Resident Evil 2, and also provides greater realism and immersion, without losing the visual essence of the original game. When we start the adventure, we can choose between three levels of difficulty: Assisted, Standard and Hardcore. What are the diferences? In Assisted, players have aim assist, recover a certain amount of life automatically, enemies are relatively weak, start the game with an assault rifle and receive more ammunition when crafting. Standard is the typical normal difficulty. In Hardcore, enemies are stronger, ammunition and items are scarcer and crafting gives less ammunition. Newcomers to the Resident Evil series can start with Assisted or Standard to get used to it, but veterans will certainly move to Hardcore soon. Avoid spending bullets on zombies, use on bosses instead, especially in the most advanced difficulty, is the best option. For those who already know the Resident Evil series, weapons like pistols, assault rifles, shotguns, rocket launchers and grenade launchers are present in this remake. The same goes for healing items, such as Green and Red herbs. In terms of gameplay, it is very similar to the remake of Resident Evil 2, so anyone who liked this title will have a huge smile playing this remake. It's fun to explore Raccon City with this super smooth and fluid gameplay. It should be noted that Jill has the dodge mechanics as they had in the original game, which makes sense, since he is an operative with more training than Leon and Claire. However, there is a difference. Now, when executing a perfect dodge, the action slows for a few moments, thus giving an opportunity to counterattack. Graphically, it maintains the same graphic quality as the remake of Resident Evil 2. For those who are fans of this series or games of this genre, it is quite satisfying to see the pale and lifeless faces of the zombies, as well as the detail of their wounds, and the way they are staggering towards us. The same goes for zombie dogs and other monsters. The characters and enemies underwent redesigns in order to modernize their look, as is the case with Jill, Carlos and Nemesis. In the case of Jill, there was a positive redesign in my opinion. I know this might be awkward for some fans of the old design, but the Jill Valentine of the original looks more like a character in the James Bond films, whereas in the remake version, I feel like she really is a character of Resident Evil universe. As for the differences between the original and the remake, one with great impact is the absence of different endings and choices that affect the course of the adventure. This ends up having a consequence in the game's longevity, because there is less incentive to repeat the campaign. In addition, the Mercenaries mode has also been cut from the remake, further reducing single-player content. In place of this mode is Resident Evil Resistant, a 4 v 1 multiplayer mode. It is certainly funny to see Nemesis trying to hit us with a Rocket Launcher, but I think the tension in the original has been reduced. Even Syndrome, which was a terrible game, showed more tension, despite its technical mistakes being even more frightening. Yes, the songs in this remake are good and fit well in different situations, but nothing more than that. The short campaign and the absence of any single-player content is also not in favor. Resident Evil 3 is a good game, but it could have been a lot better if certain things hadn't been cut.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus9
Mar 28, 2020
Granblue Fantasy is a series that was born in 2014 by Cygames. The first game came out for Android and iOS mobile devices, and for the most curious, it is a turn-based RPG. And in 2017 an anime based on the franchise came out. After that, Cygames announced two assets that could make the series even more famous. In late 2017, it announced Granblue Fantasy: Relink, an action RPG that had the help of Platinum Games, and in 2018, it revealed this Granblue Fantasy: Versus, which was developed by Arc System Works. Granblue Fantasy: Versus, as the name implies, is a fighting game. It isn't the first time that Arc System Works has developed a fighting game thinking “out of the box” from its two usual Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series. Fist of the North Star, Persona and Dragon Ball have already been in the hands of this studio. But calm down that Granblue Fantasy: Versus also has an RPG (story) mode. Well… RPG with Streets of Rage vibes. In the story mode of the game, the objective is, unsurprisingly, to defeat all enemies, but not only. Bosses are also included in this mode to make things more interesting. When we do Quest Clear we can earn rewards, which include weapons, rupies or skill shards, and which vary depending on our performance, without forgetting that we earn experience points for our characters. We have several weapons that can be of these 6 types: Fire, water, earth, wind, light and darkness. If, for example, a mission recommends a weapon of the wind type, it is advisable to use that type of weapon because it does more damage to our enemies. Level up, uncap, skill upgrade are things that we will use to make our weapons better. We have lots of support skills that tip the scales in our favor during battles. We have the Sierokarte shop, where we can buy weapons, support skills, forge weapons and buy color variations for our characters. Since this RPG mode has little Streets of Rage, it can also be played in cooperative mode (CPU, offline or online). Regarding the story itself, I admit that in this type of games I am undemanding. It is simply acceptable. It could be better, but there is not much to invent. I also thought that there is one or another quest that only serves to fill chorizo. I consider this RPG mode as a simple complement to add something to the game. Although it was also a small breath of fresh air compared to the other fighting games from Arc System Works. Yes, the game also has cutscenes, but there are few. In the base game, we have a total of 11 characters: Gran, Ferry, Lancelot, Katalina, Percival, Metera, Ladiva, Charlotta, Zeta, Vaseraga and Lowain. I confess that I was disappointed with the initial range because there are so few characters. Even more, if we take into account that they had already announced Character Pass 1 & 2 even before the game was released in Japan. In addition to being able to change the color of our character, we can also change our weapon. Visually, I don't even have words for the quality of Arc System Works' work, especially with the typical Granblue Fantasy style, which in itself is very good. As well as the background scenarios and the Skybound Arts and the Super Skybound Arts (including the reactions of the characters when they lead with these techniques). Yes, I know it's a bit weird, but I confess that it impressed me more than Dragon Ball FighterZ. Yes, I also have to be aware that GBF:V doesn't have DBFZ's Destructive Finish’s and Dramatic Finish’s. About the gameplay itself, another chapter in which Arc System Works cannot disappoint. Super fluid as always and easy to execute. It is true that we can execute Skybound Arts and Super Skybound Arts in the most difficult way (with such double 45 degrees), but fortunately they can also be performed in a simpler way. Seemingly not, but some attacks in this Versus make references to the game for mobile devices, just as most of the characters' poses make reference to certain images. In addition to the RPG mode, we have the usual modes in a fighting game: Versus, Arcade, Free Training, Mission training (Basic Mission, Skill Practice, Combo Practice, Match-Ups and Glossary) and online. Speaking of the latter, you remember very well how Dragon Ball FighterZ and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle online lobby’s, right? Well, that is also present in this GBF:V, only this time we will be on board the Grandcipher. However, the same problems that DBFZ and BB: CTB had, are present here. It **** that we have to put a password in our room and not include a button to invite our friends to play friendly matches. It is true that this detail may be of little interest, but I still admire quotes and victory quotes with all the characters, even with their “doppelgängers”. And by the way, a round of applause for those who made Lowain's quotes and victory quotes. It can be said that it is a Deadpool from the GBF. And the soundtrack is fantastic too. in short, GBF:V is a verygood fighting game.

MLB The Show 209
Mar 22, 2020
Here comes the last exclusive MLB for PS4, the last because the 2021 version will become multiplatform. And apparently Chicago Cubs player Javier Báez will have his face on the cover of MLB The Show 20. Let's start with the news. Minor League Baseball has been fully licensed under the names real players. The Team Editor and The Logo Editor also switched to Franchise mode, which in previous versions was exclusive Diamond Dynasty. Of course, the gameplay received some minor improvements, as well as the game became more realistic. This is noticeable when defensive team players try to catch a ball (when hit by the attacking team). The more, the better. For those who know little about this sport, the rules of baseball are few, but they are difficult to understand, and earning points in this sport is complicated. Doing Home Runs and earning points through baserunning is leaving your hair standing on end. The objective of the attacking team (batting team) is to try to hit the ball that is thrown by the pitcher (defensive team). When this happens, this allows the players to run the bases in a kind of time trial. When we succeed in these time trials, we earn points. The goal of the defensive team is to prevent the batters from becoming runners and advancing between bases. Initially, we always start by defining how our Batting or Baserunning will be for example. Road to the Show... choose a real player or create a player in our style. The usual goal is to play games, increase our player's attributes, and bring the player to fame and glory. Don't forget that sometimes we are forced to talk to a colleague of ours before or after a game. This in will influence the personalities and the relationship with our colleague. Diamond Dynasty is similar to myClub from PES and FIFA Ultimate Team from FIFA. What consists in forming a team through the packs of cards. For that we need to earn points or make challenges to have a pack (they can also be acquired through microtransactions). Ranked Seasons, Showdown; Battle Royale, Conquest, Tournaments, Moments, Events and Extended Play are the modes that are present in this Diamond Dynasty. I confess that I was pleased with the number of modes available here. Franchise consists of being a coach of a team chosen by us. By this I mean we can simulate games (Quick manage or Manage full game) or play the game (Play full game, Player Lock or Retro Mode). And Player Lock consists of seeing an entire game through the eyes of a player on our team. But we can also do Scouting, Review Sponsorships, see our finances, Set My Trade Block, Trade Talks and Sim To Draft Day. March to October that was introduced in MLB The Show 19, is also present in this latest version. In March to October, we will take control only at the most important games and moments of our team. As we progress through the season, the exclusive content of the narrative comments will progressively and dynamically reveal the essential campaign story of our chosen MLB club. We have improved reward opportunities over version 19 for example. We can also create or search for leagues made by random players or our friends, whether with the MLB Live Roster or the Diamond Dynasty Collection. Graphically, compared to the last one I reviewed (MLB The Show 18), little or nothing has changed. And I noticed that SIE San Diego Studio hasn't changed much when it comes to menus. I confess that commentators could do a lot better, but even that doesn't stop the MLB The Show 20 from being a great game thanks to the gameplay and the number of available modes, and it is totally recommended for baseball fans. Veredict: Another good shot from SIE San Diego Studio.

Two Point Hospital9
Mar 21, 2020
At a time when the world is dealing with the new Coronavirus, Two Point Hospital, which now arrives on consoles thanks to Red Kit Games, offers a lighter approach to the theme of diseases, cures and hospital management, reminiscent of the old Theme Hospital . After being released for the PC in late August last year, it is now the turn of PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch players to try out this good and fun title by Two Point Studios. Hmm… how can this game be described? I know. Hospital Manager 2020! Replace soccer balls, coaches and other things that only concern Football Manager, with doctors, nurses, assistants and caretakers. Unsurprisingly, the overall objective is to heal the sick and wounded and to make our hospitals successful and have good financial health. Initially, we always started with a modest £ 200,000, and the first step is to build a reception and hire an assistant to fill that position. After that, it is to build an office and hire a doctor for it. Subsequently, it is necessary to expand the hospital and build more things, such as rooms for cardiology, a rest room for staff, bathrooms, and even a clinic for clowns. But these places can be more harmonious with decorations, such as plants and posters, to make people happy. If we have a positive balance in the accounts, we can always build more hospitals. If the user has negative accounts or low funds, he can always get a loan from the bank. We can also see and change (increase or decrease) our prices in order to try to find a solution to our financial problem. But be aware that if we raise the price too much, our customers will refuse to pay the bill. Therefore, it will be necessary to find a balance. Items such as dustbins, banks, snack machines, drink machines, arcade machines are important things, because this will prevent patients and staff from being uncomfortable, thirsty, hungry and bored. In some places they are extremely sensitive to temperatures. If we are in a cold place, the ideal is to put heaters in all places and if we are in a hot place, the ideal is to use air conditioning. As I said at the beginning, we will have to hire doctors, nurses, assistants and caretakers. They all have different roles, salaries and skills from each other. There are some caretakers who can repair the machines, while there are other janitors who can improve the machines. And there are also janitors who can clean ... ghosts. Yes, it's funny, but it's true. When someone dies in our hospitals, sometimes a ghost appears to frighten our customers and then it is advisable to have a janitor with the Ghostbuster qualification. Assistants, well, in addition to working at receptions, are essential in Marketing. Doctors can work in offices, in Psychiatry, at X-Ray, at De-Lux Clinic, at Pans Lab, at Chromatherapy and at Research. In the latter, we can research projects to designate new types of equipment such as X-Ray and Chromatherapy. Nurses can be used in Pharmacy, General Diagnosis, Cardiology, Ward, Clown Clinic and Fracture Ward. In turn, the janitors, in addition to what I had previously said, also refill Snack Machines and Drink Machines, clean the bins and water the plants. After some time, we are invited to a ceremony in which we can receive 8 prizes (and money) if we are successful. Don't forget that we have major challenges to do. Once completed, we earn a star and can proceed to the next hospital on the map. I have to confess that I was surprised when I saw so many people get excited about Two Point Hospital. And no less. The more I played, the more addicted I became. Apart from the fact that the controls are a little difficult, especially when I've been decorating several walls with pictures and suddenly move to the other side of the wall. But it's still fun to control everything that Two Point Hospital offers. The cartoon graphics at Two Point Hospital are simple but good. In terms of songs, they are good but somewhat repetitive, but even that doesn't make me quit the game. Overall, this is a very good title that deserves everyone's attention. Two Point Hospital has just been discharged and is in good health.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War6
Feb 6, 2020
6.5/10 than 6/10 For those unfamiliar with the Zombie Army series, it's developed by Rebellion, it is a spin-off of the Sniper Elite franchise. It is an action game in the third person in which we can play Solo or coop. The game is to kill thousands of Zombies. Have you ever imagined that the ****, including Adolf ****, who were killed in World War II would suddenly be resurrected as Zombies? Unthinkable, right? It is up to four heroes (Boris, Jun, Karl and Shola) to bury this whole crowd again. It isn't surprising if the game is familiar to anyone coming from Sniper Elite, but in this Zombie Army 4: Dead War we have more action and less Stealth. Bullet kill cameras are present as always. It is always great to stop (and see) two or more zombies with a single bullet from our rifle or watch the zombie skulls explode into a thousand pieces. If the user is tired of this, we can always edit Bullet Kill Cameras. We have three game modes present in Zombie Army 4: Dead War - Campaign, Horde and the Weekly Event. Let's start with the first one. In the campaign, we first have to do our loadouts, which include primary weapon, secondary weapon, pistol, melee, perk, item mods and our character. Rifles, Assault Rifles, Shotguns and Subamachine Guns are among the few weapons that are present in the game, apart from pistols. And don't forget that weapons can take upgrades (through upgrade kits), Skins, Charms and Reticles. All characters have their strengths and weaknesses. There isn't much to say about the campaign. Surviving, Tower defense, killing zombies to unlock certain areas are the main focus in Zombie Army 4: Dead War. In horde mode we have to survive the waves of Zombies (up to 12 waves or more). The base version of the game has four maps: Into the Darkness, Villa Della Morte, Dead in the Water and The Bitter End. Whether in Campaign mode or Horde mode, we have the possibility to choose the difficulty: Easy, Medium and Hard. On this last level of difficulty: enemies are tougher and take more life, bullets are affected by gravity and wind, and Friendly fire is present. But honestly, I felt almost no difference from Easy to Hard. Don't forget that we can use grenades (Frag, Incendiary, Shock) and mines (normal, incendiary, Shock) during the Campaign, Horde or Weekly Event missions, in order to defeat zombie groups more easily. In addition, during Campaign missions, in Horde mode or in the Weekly Event, we can use some traps around the area that can be used in our favor: explosive barrels and electrical networks, for example. But be aware that these things are also deadly for us. And don't think that there are just normal Zombies, we have special Zombies like Suicider (loaded with explosives just for us), big Zombies with heavy weapons (which we can also use them during missions) like Heavy MG and Flamethrower and so on forward. And finally, we have the Weekly Event mode. If you like weekly challenges, this is the right way for you. It is a way with certain rules for us to pass the challenge. For example: Dead Ahead map (Campaign), medium difficulty, no secondary weapon. Regarding the online cooperative mode, in the few games I made, I feel that Rebellion's netcode in this Zombie Army 4: Dead War is strange, even with the best connections. Because when I fire a bullet from my Rifle at the enemy, it looks like it takes almost a second to hit the target. Even at close range. It is something that in my opinion does not fit. For those who want offline co-op, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is not for you because it doesn't have offline co-op. Unfortunately in visual terms Zombie Army 4: Dead War is nothing special and I think it could have been better worked, even with the quality option (30 FPS). Fortunately, we also have the “Performance” option that guarantees us 60 FPS’s on the PS4 Pro. The soundtrack also goes completely unnoticed. As if that were not enough, Rebellion has to make some adjustments to the subtitles because they are too small. Overall the game itself isn't bad; it's really fun and there's funny things like Bullet kill Cameras and Weekly Events, but little else. The lack of offline co-op and some technical aspects that could be better make Zombie Army 4: Dead War an average game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare8
Nov 8, 2019
Another year, another Call of Duty. This time it is a soft-reboot of one of the (modern era) titles that made the Call of Duty series grow, namely the first Modern Warfare. Needless to say, I missed Captain Prince and his iconic beard and mustache. About the campaign, the American CIA officers and British SAS forces are said to have teamed up with some Uzbekistan rebels, with the overall goal of fighting the Russians who apparently invaded that fictitious country. Despite being short, overall I liked the campaign. Don't forget that Special Ops mode connects with campaign history. Unfortunately for Xbox One and PC users, they will have to wait a year for the Survival mode. But going straight to one of the most central aspects of this Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: the gameplay. The first impression I got was that the gameplay was to fetch some things from the Battlefield series from Eletronic Arts. This means that this game is slower and less racing than previous titles in the series, but the gameplay pleased me. And the rushers will have a bad time in Multiplayer, but later I'll explain why. Multiplayer and Spec Ops rankings (cooperative mode) are linked. If you are ranked 13th in Multiplayer and for the first time in Spec Ops, you are ranked 13th with the same weapons and perks. And we also have a different progression system than the other Call of Duty. When we reach level 55 (maximum level), we have a new progression option. Instead of moving to the next prestige, the players rank is cleared and we can reach the highest levels (from 1 to 100). About Multiplayer itself. Old modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, Headquarters, and Search and Destroy are present in this Modern Warfare. We also have a mode called Ground War, which is a giant 64 player map, with vehicles and helicopters in the mix, where we have to dominate most points (Domination style) to lead our team to victory. Remember Battlefield? I think so. Another mode worth talking about is Gunfight. This mode takes place on very small maps, two-on-two matches and with players receiving the same Loadout to be balanced. I confess that Gunfight mode pleased me more than Ground War. Many more (free) Multiplayer modes and maps will be coming over the next few months. And don't forget that this is the first Call of Duty to support Cross-Play, meaning we can face players from other platforms. If you aren't interested in this, you can disable this option. Speaking of maps, Infinity Ward could have done better in this chapter. There are few maps and they are too big, especially in 6 vs 6 modes (we also have 10 vs 10 modes). But worse than that, it's the sound of footsteps that looks more like a horse race. Putting these two factors together, the game forces people to go camping (there were always campers at CoD, but not at this point) and you can see that a lot at Team Deathmatch. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can turn out to be a very Multiplayer game if you fix some of these issues. In modes other than TDM, the game can be enjoyable. In terms of connections, although previous games in the series weren't famous on this page, I had no major complaints in this Modern Warfare. There are lots of weapons with lots of attachments, each with its pros and cons. But one or two weapons that needed to be nerfed. We have cooperative modes (1-4 players online or offline) like Classic Survival and Special Ops (where we can use specific weapons, killstreaks and other things) where we have to face hordes of enemies of all shapes and sizes. These are challenging modes where we can't let our guard down for a second. The songs are acceptable and the same goes for Graphics (60 FPS stable on Pro). Despite its problems in Multiplayer mode that need to be fixed, overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good game.

MediEvil9
Oct 29, 2019
Nothing better than playing a scary, spooky game just a few days before Halloween, especially if it's from a series that has a special place in our hearts, such as MediEvil. After many years buried, behold, the hero without chin returns from the dead once again. MediEvil is a remake of a PS1 game of the same name that was originally released in 1998. But unlike the PS1 version, this remake is developed by Other Ocean Emeryville and not by SCE Cambridge Studio, which later also developed MediEvil 2 and MediEvil: Resurrection. Those who played the original certainly know the plot of the game, but for those who haven't had the opportunity to play the PS1 version, here is a short summary of this adventure's motto. The Kingdom of Gallowmere was threatened by Zarok's armada plus with Zombies. Sir Daniel Fortesque led Gallowmere's troops, but unfortunately he didn't go far, he died soon with the first arrow thrown into battle. After 100 years of no news, Zarok reappears and casts a spell on Gallowmere, buried in an eternal night. The spell also wakes up the undead and removes the souls of the living. By mere accident, Zarok eventually resurrects Sir Daniel Fortesque thus giving him a second chance to be the hero of the story. I must say that although I have never played the original or its sequel, MediEvil 2, I played MediEvil: Resurrection for PSP and was pleased with the announcement of this remake. There is nothing new about the original here apart from the graphical update and some gameplay changes, such as minor spawns for enemies or the location of the golden chalices. Slicing, crushing, impaling, electrocuting, burning and even turning our enemies into chickens are things we will do with this fluid gameplay. But not only, we also have to dodge attacks, as enemies are aggressive and use the shield to protect us from attacks. However, shields have a resistance limit, so some attention is required. There are three types of shields, all with different qualities: bronze, silver and gold. We always have 300 life, and if we reach 0 HP we will consume a health potion to get away with it. If we don't have a life potion, well, it's certain death. I caught a bug or glitch that upset me a lot. It seems that Dan doesn't interact well when we want to read a book in some places of certain levels, getting a little stuck, as if there were a small invisible wall preventing the action. Fortunately we can get rid of this if we move our doll. Nothing a little update won't solve. Swords, hammers and bows are part of our arsenal. Most weapons can only be unlocked if we have a golden cup to deliver to the Hall of Heroes, but other rewards like gold coins are also part of the fan. To get a gold chalice, we have to fill it with the souls of our enemies until we reach 100%, take the gold chalice and talk to a statue of the heroes. Along the way we also have little puzzles to complete if we want to reach the end of the level. Over time, we can also find lost souls and make their challenges. Graphically MediEvil is very nice. It is very gratifying to see the differences of this remake with the 1998 version. Having a PS4 Pro, the game offers 60 stable FPS. I'm not a big fan of fixed cameras (in some places) as it kept me from seeing what was in front of me. And even when it becomes mobile, in a few places it can become annoying. Obviously, bosses are things that Sir Daniel Fortesque will not miss in this MediEvil. Attack weaknesses, dodge blows and shield yourself as in the classic game. But don't worry that bosses in general aren't that hard to beat, even when we initially have a weak arsenal. But that's not why it's fun anymore. What about the soundtrack itself? Excellent and harmonious. The orchestra was very well tuned and it is these words that define the sounds of MediEvil. Regarding the voices, both English and Portuguese voices are generally of quality. In short, this MediEvil remake may be more frustrating than difficult, but it's still fun. Sir Daniel Fortesque returned in a big way.

eFootball PES 20208
Sep 16, 2019
This year Konami has decided to renew its football franchise name from Pro Evolution Soccer to eFootball PES. According to the company, this change, which will continue in the coming years, was due to a greater focus on eSports. But what impact has this change had and what's new in this eFootball PES 2020? Starting with the new licenses, Bayern München, Juventus and Manchester United (who replaced Liverpool FC) have partnered with the Konami game, meaning that Allianz Arena, Allianz Stadium and Old Trafford are also included. In addition, we also have the fully licensed French 2nd league, and next year we will have the fully official UEFA Euro 2020 through a free upgrade. About the Master League, when we start a new career we can choose as coach Johan Cruyff, Bebeto, Romário or Diego Maradona. And yes, the Master League have cutscenes (which you can perfectly pass on) where, for example, we see our coach greeting players when we are in a new club. We will also have to give press conferences and answer journalists' questions. I know this is nothing special, but it always adds a lot of content to the game. It should be noted that we can now choose the club's initial budget and adjust the frequency of the transfer market. Outside of the Master League, we have a new mode called Matchday. This means that we will face players in online matches during the Group matches in order to reach the Grand Finals. And in the end, we will receive rewards regardless of our performance. And one more thing, these same finals will be transmitted via livestream. Although Konami has not made many changes to the myClub menus, the UI has undergone some changes, such as player stats graphs. But not only. Now players who play well during the games of the week will appear as Featured players, which increases their ratings, gets more skills and earns a unique card design. Another important news in myClub is the addition of the National Team FP's, where we see special versions of players competing in the upcoming or recent national game. But let's get to the point that matters most in Pro Evolution Soccer: the gameplay. In a nutshell, smooth, fast and fun to play. The only things I have to point out are the pressure from the second and third players to the ball carrier, which is overkill, and the fault criterion is very inconsistent. About AI, I notice that CPU-controlled opponents now do shots outside of the area, which was very rare in previous PES. In previous titles the focus of AI was to cross the flanks. One of the most favorite and used modes in PES also has news. I speak of Edit Mode. We have more options and more flexibility when editing teams, players, leagues and competitions. We can import the partnership logos that will be shown in various ways, and an example of this are the press conference scenarios. Modes such as Rise to **** and Offline and Online Co-op are also present, as expected. About online itself, I had no reason to complain about the games I played, although it took me a long time to find someone with a stable connection. Graphically it remains a high quality game. The game environments aren't bad, but they could be better, especially at the beginning when the stadiums are full, but there is a lack of noise to make it more realistic and immersive. Who comments on the game in Portuguese are the usual Pedro Sousa and Luís Freitas Lobo. In this chapter, Konami hasn't evolved. Comments are still very repetitive and, unfortunately, the same goes for comments in English. All in all, it's a game with some inconsistencies and things that have long needed to be improved, but overall, I really enjoyed this eFootball PES 2020. Veredict: Despite some issues, eFootball PES 2020 is a step forward compared to Pro Evolution Soccer 2019.

WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship8
Sep 10, 2019
Is this time we will have a champion who doesn't have Sébastian as his first name? With 4 events at the end, some say yes. The Toyota driver Ott Tänak has been a big surprise, for now ahead of drivers like Thierry Neuville and Sébastian Ogier. And is this how Kylotonn Racing can surprise and fight mano-a-mano with the Codemasters game? I would say yes. This is the eighth edition of the WRC, since Evolution studios dropped the same in 2005, and is the 4th WRC game to be developed by the French Kylotonn. Being an official WRC game, categories like Junior WRC, WRC 2 and WRC are unsurprisingly included here. Linking to the 2019 calendar of the competition, we have two more races compared to the WRC 7: the Chile rally and the Turkey rally. Skoda Fabia R5, Volkswagen Polo R5, Citroën C3 WRC, Ford Fiesta WRC, Hyundai i20 WRC and Toyota Yaris are just a few cars that are present in the WRC 8, not to mention the various teams available. But we also have bonus cars like the Lancia Fulvia HF, Lancia Stratos, Volkswagen Polo R WRC and the Proton Iriz R5 in the base version. On the downside, I think there should be more bonus cars (even with DLCs) like the Citroën Xsara Kit Car or the Opel Manta. Now let's go to the most important parts that Kylotonn has improved and added, one of which is vehicle physics. We have to be careful with snow (when we are not using snow tires) or with water puddles that unexpectedly slightly change the direction of the car, as well as be careful with “landings” after a big jump. I admit I've been enjoying and having fun with this WRC 8's most simulated gameplay, as well as being smooth and responsive to commands. Of course it's complicated at first, but over time, we've gained pace. Now we have a very good thing in the form of dynamic weather conditions. By this I mean that at the beginning of the rallies may be a sky with few clouds, but later during the stage it may rain. As such, we have at our disposal the option of Free Roam or training in a closed circuit to train and improve our skills. Career mode has expanded over WRC 7. We always start at Junior WRC where we choose a team and we will have to hire collaborators like engineers, agents, chief financial officers, meteorologists and physiotherapists. All this to help us to reach the victory. We also have to be mindful of the season's goals and short-term goals because they give experience and money. We can always organize events from rest, extreme conditions (driving a badly damaged car with unfriendly weather), manufacturer rehearsal, manufacturer challenge, training, historic racing and maintenance. And speaking of manufacturer testing and manufacturer challenges, it is these challenges that allow us to move up to the category. For that to happen, you have to succeed in these challenges, but be aware that this sacrifices a little of loyalty to the current brand we are in. Leveling up on the experience we gain experience points that can be used in the R&D tree which is divided into 4 branches: Team, Crew, Reliability and Performance to unlock skills. For example, we can acquire a skill in which tires are more resistant to the holes. Over time, we will be able to get perks that will also help us during or outside rally events. Of course, in the pits, before or after two rallies, we can choose the type of tires we think are best suited for a given terrain, as well as having to repair our car if necessary. For the sincerity... I liked the Career mode of this WRC 8. About online modes, I must say I expected more. And no, it has nothing to do with connectivity, because this aspect is even satisfactory. I mention the lack of content, which makes me go back to Career mode. There are no championships, leagues or clubs in online mode. We also have the challenges of eSports, which is just the same. Out of online modes, we have two-player split-screen. The WRC 8 graphics are good and an example of this, the Fafe rally is spectacular, whether day or night with sun or rain. The same goes for the streets of Corsica. But I have to touch a usual wound on Kylotonn. There is only one thing that WRC 8 loses immensely to DiRT Rally 2.0, which is its fluidity. PC players will haven't reason to complain, but console players will have to settle with the 30 FPS. The vehicle sounds are good and represent a step forward compared to WRC 7. Listening to the engine noise of WRC cars in this WRC 8 is music to my ears. The copilot is just decent. It's consistent, but it lacks emotion. In short, though is not perfect, WRC 8 is good and promises to be a good foundation for Kylotonn's upcoming WRC games.

Kill la Kill: IF6
Aug 8, 2019
6.5/10 There have been a lot of arena fighters lately like The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia, My Hero Academy: One's Justice, Jump Force and soon to arrive One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. True, quality is sometimes dubious, but options exist. Kill la Kill The Game: IF is yet another arena fighter game for casual gamers. For those unfamiliar with the show, Kill la Kill is an anime stuffed with action, humor, and… pervert thing. Kill la Kill The Game: IF is developed by A + Games, overseen by Studio Trigger and has Arc System Works as the publisher, which was responsible for the development of Dragon Ball FighterZ and BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. Regarding the story mode of the game, I recommend you check out the whole series before playing this title, largely because of a big plot twist. Here the story is told through cutscenes rather than simple dialogues, which is a positive point. In addition, the game's art is sublime and captures the essence of the Kill la Kill series, whether during cutscenes or during battles. The game has a total of two chapters: the Satsuki chapter and the Ryuko chapter. I can't help but admire the excellent work of the Japanese voices, as well as the game's soundtrack. Yes, it is also possible to choose English voices, which aren't bad, but could have done better work on synchronization. I apologize to everyone, I know this sounds more like a scratched disc but the general and basic aim in fighting games is to do the tutorials, go to training mode to train our skills and learn how to do combos before we go into battle 1 vs 1. But we also have battles 1 vs 100 covers (Musou style). In addition to the other game modes I mentioned earlier there are also modes like Free battle, Player Match, Ranked Match, Survival Challenge and Cover Challenge. Speaking of this Cover Challenge, we have several challenges to choose from, such as 1 min. Extermation, which consists of defending as many covers as possible in less than 1 minute, 100-Unit Extermination and Endless Extermination. About the characters in the game, unfortunately the initial roster is very poor. Only 8 characters, including Satsuki Kiryuin, Ryuko Matoi, Houka Inumuta, Ira Gamagoori, Uzu Sanageyama, Nonon Jakuzure, Nui Harime and Ragyo Kiryuin. Fortunately everyone has different skills and characteristics from one another. For example, Nonon Jakuzure specializes in ranged attacks. Moving on to Kill la Kill The Game: IF, ranged attacks, ranged attacks, and Guard Break are some of the things we will be doing during battles. We also have a quick and funny event that we can invoke during combat called Bloody Valor, which is similar to rock, paper, scissors. Mock (Life recovery) wins to Taunt (additional damage) and loses to Provoke (Increases SP Gauge) and the latter loses to Taunt. After both have chosen the options, our character or the opponent will use unfriendly words. If we win, the event continues (until we reach Valor Level 3, we win the option we have chosen, and our Valor Level increases and we gain improvements for our character. If the Bloody Valor summoner loses, the event automatically ends. When the Level Value is at maximum, we can perform **** (Fiber lost). And whoever gets caught by this technique automatically loses his clothes and the battle. Seeing all the characters performing their **** as well as the other attacks is very, very rewarding. However, there is a weakness that bothers me during the battles against the covers. That's right, I'm talking about the Lock-on. Because it's a real deck of cards (it shifts to this one and suddenly shifts to those and so on) and you can't pick a target. Strangely, online mode is only available after completing the Satsuki chapter in story mode. Unfortunately the options we have in online mode are limited because, for example, there is no tournaments, just normal battles. And anyone who has ever felt the pain of inviting our friends on Dragon Ball FighterZ and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, knows what I'm talking about. Not having a invite button and being forced to give our friends a password to enter our room isn't practical at all. As we complete battles, we earn DP points that can be used to purchase things in Digital Figure (which we can admire and land character models), Sound Test songs, and Voice Library voices. Overall, unfortunately Kill the Kill The Game: IF suffers from a lack of options and content. Veredict: Kill la Kill The Game: IF is not a bad arena fighter, but it is only average because of the small roster of fighters, the problematic lock-on and the lack of options in online mode.

Tour de France 20196
Jul 14, 2019
More like 5.5 than 6. Every year, during the month of July, the Tour de France takes place. Cyclists such as Peter Sagan or Geraint Thomas make hundreds of miles with super exhausting climbs to get precious points. This year's edition marks the 105th year of existence of the Tour de France. And while we are in the month of the Tour de France, here's Cyanide Studios launch another game dedicated to this cycling competition. Yes, it is important to reach the goal in 1st place, but it is also essential to be in 1st place in certain sections of the stage to earn points. And in addition to the Tour de France, there are a few more competitions to attend, including Critérium Du Dauphiné, Paris-Nice, Euro Tour, Open, Tour, La Route Corse or Paris-Roubaix. On a positive note, the option to play with or against a friend of ours is available offline in these same competitions. Compared to the 2018 edition, the Tour de France 2019 features more sprint challenges and a new classic race (Vlaanderen Classic). Now our opponents (AI) follow more realistic trajectories and make the turns more naturally, giving them a better immersion into the pack. Note that we can customize our race, for example, put a number of cyclists per team, as well as change the colors of their distinctive jerseys. At the modes level, we have two new ones, namely Pro Team and Pro Leader. At Pro Team we trained our team in order to be invited to the best races and to hire the best cyclists. In Pro Leader we have created our rider and we have to complete missions so that our rider evolves from season to season. But the most disappointing point in the Tour de France 2019 is the lack of an online mode. When we start a competition, we are forced to choose a team from Team Sea, Bora - Hansgrohe or Astana. But now, let's go to one of the most important parts of the game: how to play the Tour de France 2019. Okay, of course we'd better learn the basics in the tutorials and develop our skills in training. Not only do we have to be in 1st place, but we also have to lend a hand to our comrades by giving them instructions, from attacking, protecting the leader or ingesting liquids through Team Communication. But we can also change cyclists. Regarding the gameplay itself, the player can and should use the aerodynamic position only in descents. This is to increase speed, save and recover our energies. We can control our effort, increasing or decreasing according to the situations. We can also follow some of our companions or some others through the Follow button. But this is where the technical problems of the Tour de France 2019 start. For some reason, AI in a few occasions pushes us, which forces our cyclist to do unfollow to the cyclist we were following. Fortunately or unfortunately accidents is something that there is in the Tour de France 2019. And as if that was not enough, I take with two blue screens at the end of the race. Fortunately, you can save progress at any point in the race. In terms of graphics, Tour de France 2019 has highs and lows. If the scenarios, the equipment of the cyclists and the public are satisfactory, the same I can't say of the cars and faces of the cyclists. Seeing Peter Sagan with the same face as Quintana is too depressing. In spite of all this, the atmosphere of the public is fantastic, it even transmits what we positively feel when seeing the real proof. Tour de France also provides us with replays after the races. But unfortunately also doesn't escape the criticism, because it is always near the end of the race, has few angles of the camera, and does not have a Photo mode. And as if that weren't enough, there are technical problems in replays. In some races, when we change cyclists, we take with 1 second loading of textures. In short, Tour de France 2019 may even be interesting for staunch cycling fans and have interesting scenarios, soft gameplay and a good atmosphere, but that's not enough. The lack of some options and the various technical problems, shows that Cyanide Studios could have done much more.

Samurai Shodown9
Jul 9, 2019
That's right, K. O. in two blows. Maybe it was for lack of attention or pure ignorance on my part, but even though I've been playing videogames since the 90s, I've never heard of Samurai Shodown. I heard about the Tekken, Street Fighter, The King of Fighters and Guilty Gear, but i never heard about Samurai Shodown. I know I know. I should be executed in every way, I deserve that. The fans of this SNK series have had a long wait of more than a decade in front of them, but behold now Samurai Shodown makes his return, and it can be said that it is a great return. For those who do not know Samurai Shodown, this is a fighting game in which the fighting style focuses more on the opponent's mistakes than on making elaborate combos. It's the exact opposite of what other fighting games usually do. In other words, don't expect to crush the buttons like there's no tomorrow and try to be patient and wait for your opponents' mistakes, because a wrong move can be fatal, as most Samurai Shodown hits are very powerful. Let's say it's a unique fighting style. Most Samurai Shodown techniques are very simple to perform, except the super special moves. But don't think that it is only to beat the opponent; make parry, perfect parry and disarm our enemy is also important. When it is disarmed, the blows aren't very powerful compared when we have the weapons. Simple and smooth are the words in Samurai Shodown's, because the gameplay is very good. You can wait for huge amounts of blood and cuts in half, but the game has a more cartoony style and not as gore as what is commonly seen in Mortal Kombat. And this isn't a criticism. The base game features a range of 16 characters, including veterans Haohmaru, Ukyo Tachibana, Nakoruru and Jubei Yagyu, and some newcomers such as Darli Dagger and Wu-Ruixiang. They all have their own movements and their own history. And speaking of history, it should be noted that the events of this Samurai Shodown take place between the events of Samurai Shodown 5 and those of the original title, and function as a reboot of the series. Although the story mode is reasonable, the truth is that it's nothing special either. The same is just a mere arcade mode. No big surprises, modes like Training and Tutorial are present and are always super essential in fighting games. Of course, it's a good idea to invest some time in these modes before you go into serious battles, whether offline or online. In the tutorial, basic mechanics like Just Defense, Dodge, Counter, Sword Clash or Blade Catch, among others, are some of the things that we will learn and train. And being a fighting game, training is essential. At offline modes, you can count on Time Trial, Survival, Gautlet (a mode that sets us against all characters in the game) and the traditional Versus mode. In online mode we have modes like Ranked Match and Casual Match. In the latter, we can choose the type of battle: Single VS or Team VS. In Team VS, it can be 2on2, 3on3 or 5on5 battles, just like we can choose the rules: Point Match or Elimination Match. On the connections of the game, I have no great reasons for complaint. Just be aware of the connections of our opponents. Samurai Shodown also features an interesting asynchronous online mode, called Dojo. Put simply, the game studies and learns the behavior and tactics of players in offline modes, and with this information, creates a Ghost opponent that mimics a human opponent. This Ghost opponent can later be unloaded by other players for an experience versus asynchronous. In addition, we also have a rewarding challenge, called the Ironman Challenge, that impels us to face 10, 50 or 100 CPU Ghosts. Visually, Samurai Shodown is super colorful and cartoons, and the quality of the artwork and the models of the characters is very good. The typically Japanese soundtrack and Japanese voices are equally of great quality. At first it may be strange for those who are accustomed to other fighting games more focused on combos, but after a short period of habituation, Samurai Shodown is really very addictive. Overall, it was a job well done by SNK.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled9
Jun 25, 2019
8.5/10 than 9/10 “Start your engines! A Sony Computer Entertainment Europe/ America Prodution! Fasten your seatbelts for another… Naughty Dog… creation!” I apologize to everyone who is reading this review, because I couldn't resist adding a bit of nostalgia early on, just as I cann't dislike the voice of Clancy Brown (who was the voice of Cortex). It's the first thing I remember every time I play Crash Team Racing on my old PS1. After Team Sonic Racing, here's another kart racing game in 2019. And unsurprisingly, some are hesitant whether to buy Team Sonic Racing or this game. Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is a remake and not a remastered version of the title that came out more than 19 years ago for PS1, and is developed by Beenox, producer who developed some Spider-Man games in the previous generation, as well as was responsible by the remastering of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. What about the first impressions of this game? As soon as I started running on the track "Crash Cove", throwing power ups in a dirty way for our opponents and listening to the remixed music, I said this soon: "Ah, I'm back to 1999." The gameplay is smooth and intuitive , but at the same time challenging due to the boost system through power sliding. Of course, in this Nitro-Fueled there were not only visual changes and scenarios. Dynamic animations have also been added to the characters and more objects around the tracks to make them even funnier and more alive. In addition, the game has as a positive point the tracks and arenas of the not very famous Crash Nitro Kart. For those who played this classic title, some anti-gravity sections of certain tracks had to be modified or removed, because in this Nitro-Fueled we used only land vehicles. In adventure mode we have two choices at the beginning: Nitro-Fueled or Classic. In Nitro-Fueled mode, we can choose difficulty (Easy, Medium and Hard), change car or character at any time on the map, as well as we can customize them. Winning trophies, relics, CTR coins, gems and defeating bosses are things we will do in adventure mode. Each time we win an event, we gain, in addition to skins and characters, Wumpa Coins that can be used in pit stop. Too bad that offline events don't offer as many Wumpa Coins as online events. I also didn't like the work of John Dimaggio, who did with Uka Uka's voice on this Nitro-Fueled, compared to Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. In addition to the characters that were playable in the original 1999 title, such as Crash, Coco, Cortex or Tiny Tiger, characters from Cras Nitro Kart such as Krunk, Small Norm, Big Norm and Nash are also included. Even Nitrous Oxide is playable. And he can count on more characters, including Tawna and Spyro, in the near future. Each character has a different driving style from each other. For example, Crash has balanced stats, while Polar in the lack of speed compensates in the agility of the kart. In addition, we can also buy karts and skins for our characters and, strangely enough, there are no microtransactions. Limit Battle, Capture the Flag, Crystal Grab, Last Kart Driving and Steal the Bacon are the options in Battle mode that we can play against AI, as well as against our friends locally, or online against other random players. Not as fun as the traditional races, but it has its charm. Victory animations are no doubt more lively and comic. Moving on to an important component and little has been said since the game was announced: the online. It's true that running races or battles against other players is exciting, electrifying, exciting and exciting, but despite that, the lack of features in this mode is evident. There are no leaderboards and either in Matchmaking or Private Match, there are no Cups. There are no Ranked matches and, unfortunately, victory podiums aren't present either. This is something that Beenox must look at in the future. That said, it is worth mentioning the long-term planning of additional free content through the Grand Prix mode, which will see the regular addition of new characters, clues and cosmetic items. Power ups are faithful to the original game, but some of them need fixes. As for example, on rare occasions, receiving Aku Aku or Uka Uka while we are in 1st or 2nd place is something that does not make sense. The guided missiles also have small bugs, and the same goes for the aim when we are being shot by some missiles. But despite all this, the game is incredibly exceptional. The remixed songs and sound effects of the game are very good. But if the user does not feel satisfied, you can go to the options to change the songs and sound effects for Legacy Music. Yup, that's right; music and effects totally the same as the 1999 version. In short, if you like kart racing games, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is totally recommended to you.

World War Z6
May 1, 2019
More liker 6.5/10 than 6/10. The American company Saber Interactive decided to pick up the book of Max Brooks, entitled World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, and in the film World War Z, which had Brad Pitt in the leading role, and develop a game based on this universe. This World War Z is a cooperative game in the third person where we will have to face immenses zombies. And when I say immenses, it's thousands of zombies. In a way, it could be said that this title was to get some inspiration from Left 4 Dead. If you are asking, yes, the game is in the same universe as the movie. New York, Jerusalem, Moscow and Tokyo are the cities where we are going to go and where we have to face huge hordes of zombies, each of which has its group of four survivors. In New York we have as characters Angel Flores, Tashaun Burnell, Bunko Tatsumi and Arnetta Larkin. In Jerusalem, we have Judd Whitaker, Dina Mizrahi, Ethan Wolfe and Daniel Alahey. On the other hand, in Moscow, we have Oksana Orlovskaya, Ivan Dovchenko, Timur Yushkevich and Sergei Popov. And finally, in Tokyo, we have survivors Sho Sugiyama, Kimiko Nomura, Tatsuo Matsumoto and Hiroji Okada. At the start of the missions we always start with a Compact SMG and a Pistol. There are no tutorials, but quickly the player gets used to the gameplay of this World War Z, even more because it is a very linear game. The purpose of cooperative missions, offline or online, are simple and include, for example, killing zombies, going to a specific location, defending a zone or turning on a switch. And they're going to repeat this a few times. But despite its extreme repeatability, World War Z is even fun, a lot because of its good gameplay. Too bad AI is basic. There were times when they gave priority to killing zombies instead of making me relive. Let's say it's a reason for the staff to go to the online cooperative campaign. It is important to point out that our life does not regenerate. Instead, we have to heal (or heal fellows) with Medkits, which makes even more necessary attention to zombies. We have several different classes available, as well as a varied arsenal to catch up with. During missions, we can also find so-called heavy weapons like machine guns or grenade launchers, but they should only be used in complicated situations. Fortunately, the characters aren't restricted to classes, so we can choose what we want. Gunslinger, Hellraiser, Medic, Fixer, Slasher and Exterminator are the classes that are present in the campaign. They all have core perks different from each other and it is possible to unlock certain perks depending on our level and the money we have. After completing a chapter, we are rewarded with experience points for the class and weapons we use, as well as money that can be used to purchase weapons upgrades and purchase perks (whether in the Co-op Campaign or Multiplayer). In case you are fed up with the Co-op Campaign... we have Multiplayer to vary a lot. Player vs Player... and vs Zombie. Yes, that's right. Not only do we have to face the opposing team, as we have Zombies to spice things up. Sometimes these Zombies can swing the scale in our favor or not depending on the situation. Swarm Domination, King of the Hill, Swarm Deathmatch, Scavenge Raid, and the Vaccine Hunt are the modes available in World War Z. There are classes with the preset weapons to choose and use. For example, Support has predefined weapons like AK-47, Compact SMG and Machinegun, and has Supply Bag as its equipment. Yes, Support is for that; give support (ammunition) to our team. It's similar to the Specialist Crash form the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Remaining Multiplayer classes are Survivor, Trapper, Specialist, Warfighter, Phantom, Demolisher, Striker, Assassin and Shadow. I didn't have any connectivity problems during my game sessions but, despite its slight originality, I confess that I was more enthusiastic about the cooperative campaign than the multiplayer mode. Visually, this is a fair game, but there was scope to be better. It is true that it is fun to do "tourism" in the four cities of the game developed by Saber Interactive, but at certain times, gave me the feeling of playing a game of the previous generation. As for the sound department, while the gun sounds are positive and it's always fun to tease the zombies with these weapons, the soundtrack is virtually nonexistent and I completed the game without getting a song written in my brain. Overall, World War Z is not bad and at times it's even fun, but it's a far cry from the quality of a Left 4 Dead.

Outward8
Apr 8, 2019
Nine Dots Studio is an indie game producer that has in its curriculum games like Brand (Xbox 360, PC) and the online fighting game in space, GoD Factory: Wingmen (PC). And now we have a costumed Survival game, called Outward, which has Role-Playing Game elements in its veins. As usual in survival games, we start by customizing our avatar. Then we start an adventure that will lead us to choose one of these three machetes of the game: Blue Chamber, Heroic Kingdom or Holy Mission. Outward is a more realistic Survival RPG. In other words, an RPG Simulator. For those who love old-school RPGs, Outward is for you. This game has several inhospitable areas to explore and always in a more realistic way than the one seen so far in this genre. Initially we will have difficulties due to this style. For example, Outward doesn't show on the map where the player is and to guide us and get to our destination, it is recommended to look at the map and try to find landmarks. Okay, it's possible to put our waypoint on the map, but that's no use because it's not shown on our compass. It is noticeable that this title is more for the hardcore players and will not please everyone. By this I do not mean that it is a negative point for the game. Perhaps this Outward is more made for players who play Co-Op than Solo. And just so you know, we only have one save slot. During our adventures we will have to complete quests and sub-quests. But not only that, sometimes we will have to face adverse weather conditions. We'll have to wear warm clothes to protect ourselves from the cold, for example. And as if that were not enough, creatures and not nice people try to send us to death. They think they're going to have a lot of frustrations about how many deaths they're going to have. Sounds strange indeed but we don't earn experience points by killing enemies or completing quests (we only won items). On the negative side, when we are dead or when we enter the game, we take with two desperate long loadings. Swords, Bows and Axes are just a few examples of the arsenal in this game that can be used on our beloved enemies. Without forgetting that they can take a little help from the magic (Skills). An example of this is the Infuse Light, which temporarily adds electric damage to the guns and can also be used as a light source. About Outward fighting, I must say they are super smooth and very enjoyable, something uncommon in the survival games genre. One thing not less important than the rest we have already said is the need to pay attention to our character's hunger, thirst and sleep, otherwise inevitably dies. Eating or drinking something can give us a positive side effect. For example, when we drink pure water, our Stamina regains 0.3 per second and increases our defenses against hot temperatures. But you still have to be careful about what you eat and drink, because it can give you a negative side effect to the point of being fatal. Crafting, like any other Survival, is also a word present in this Nine Dots Studio game. Arrows, Bandages, Campfire Kits, Improvised Bedroll and many other things that can be learned through the Scrolls we pick up and can be created. As I said it is possible to play cooperative online or offline. Speaking in the latter case (offline), I haven't noticed any problems with the performance of the game. About the graphics, being an indie game, are well achieved and are well detailed for the genre in which it is. I also highlight the soundtrack that is fantastic giving me the desire to say "Yeah, i want to be on this site because of this song, i will done the quests later." An excellent work by the composer Jean-Francois Racine. Overall, Outward turns out to be a very good game, and those who like to play cooperative will still like it more. Those who don't have the patience for the game's enormous difficulty will not find much of a joke. Outward isn't a game for everyone, but anyone who has perseverance, will enjoy the game.

Left Alive5
Mar 22, 2019
Yes, I know when you look at the game wallpaper, you'll soon think of the Metal Gear series. And there's a good reason for that. Yoji Shinkawa, who was present at Kojima Productions and worked on Metal Gear, is one of Left Alive's artists. Shinji Hashimoto who produced the Front Mission series, is also present in the production of this Square Enix game. What can i say, this Left Alive is a mixture of elements from Metal Gear, Front Mission and Armored Core. Mikhail, Olga and Leonid are the three main protagonists of this adventure, and are involved in a war in Novo Slava. During the cutscenes of the story mode, we can make several choices that can lead us to various ends. Although it isn't a masterpiece like the Hideo Kojima games, i generally liked the Left Alive campaign. However, the game creates very poor first impressions thanks to the very weak visuals and textures that needed to be washed, making me feel sometimes that I was playing a PS3 game. I understand that the low budget has not given more, but it is a negative point. As Left Alive's gameplay has the DNA of Metal Gear Solid, in most cases we have to sneak around and try to pass through the beards of our enemies, always with attention to alternative ways. It is a case to say that we will fight against the odds. Initially it is complicated due to the fact that we are punished in terms of weapons to shoot down this or that enemy that is obstructing our way. But be aware that ammunition is limited and it is sensible to use them only when necessary. At the arsenal level, there are Pistols, Submachine guns, Assault Rifles, Shotguns, Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, and many other weapons and tools typical of these games. Although, this being a Stealth game, it is not clear why there are no weapons with silencers. In terms of target control, I have no reason to complain. In addition, as we collect resources such as Cans, Bottles, Explosives and Vodka, these can be used to make Molotov ****, Explosive Cans and traps. It's a point in favor about the gameplay of this Left Alive. But it's just one point in favor, because the problems are not long in coming. The gameplay itself is limited, not going to lay or crawling, and as if that were not enough, the controls are hard and slow, which doesn't help when we are trying to get out of a high alert situation. I've often seen the Game Over screen on that. It is as if the production team had gone to seek inspiration from Metal Gear, without actually ever playing a Metal Gear. I feel that the detection of our enemies needed to be reviewed and corrected, since it was sometimes too easy to be detected even without light. For example, in the case of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, if the enemy suspects something, that enemy goes to that location to see their suspicions. Yes, this also happens in Left Alive, but it's rare. Most of the time, what happens here is that even trying to pass the enemies to the side and with care, was enough to be discovered and studded with shots. A second or two under these sights is more than enough to get on high alert. During the campaign mode missions, we can rescue civilians from the claws of our enemies and take them directly to the safety of a shelter. In some cases, these civilians have a predefined path to their destination. We have to be careful when we send civilians to walk the way, because they can face the enemy and carry lead to death. Which means that we have to "clear" the way, so that these civilians have free path. There is, however, one point to ask about the saves system. If the user saved a civilian, the game doesn't autosave. By this I mean if the user loses his life, he will have to do the same task again. I also found something that i didn't like about not having autosave when we defeated a certain boss. Which isn't good at all, especially in this game. You may have wondered why you said that Left Alive had links to the Armored Core and Front Mission. Well, with the passage of time, we will have the possibility to control Wanzers, giant machines. As you would expect, when we entered the cockpit of a Wanzer, we entered high alert immediately. And not surprisingly, the Wanzers have a powerful arsenal at their disposal. However, the controls suffer from the same problem as when we are out of it. Stiffness and slowness are more than sufficient reasons to be immense times beaten by enemies, resulting in pure frustration. And without forgetting the small bumps in the framerate and the "fight against the odds". As for the soundtrack, although it isn't excellent, it is good and suits well to the style of play and the present situations. That said, having a soundtrack competent, a good story and the possibility of crafting, doesn't make Left Alive a good game, due to the immense problems it has in terms of gameplay. It's a case to say that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has yet to find any rival to its height.

The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame6
Mar 7, 2019
This isn't the first time and it will not be the last time we will see games based on movies. Some were successful and some weren't. Unfortunately this game belongs to the last group. And after the movie LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part left almost a month ago, here's the LEGO Movie 2 Videogame developed by Traveler's Tales. Characters like Emmett, Lucy or Batman are present in this game. No, strangest as it may seem, the game does not follow the story of the movie. What I feel about the story mode of the game, I feel it could be slightly longer and it is noted that it was very poorly developed compared to the movie due to the amount of important storyline left behind. Like most LEGO games by Traveler's Tales, it's a Free Mode and doesn't change the formula much. The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame uses the same gameplay as LEGO Worlds. Visually, and being a fan of the Danish brand, the game is good and faithfully represents what is LEGO. However, there is a strange scenario during Free mode on the planet Systarian Jungle. If I try to "land" on one of the huge trees with a flying vehicle, the game kills the doll and vehicle. I know most of the people will find this detail useless or almost and for me it was something that should be rectified with an update, because it is something that doesn't make sense. In addition to what I said earlier, the player will have to travel across multiple planets on the Systar System or the Rex-Plorer System to complete quests and sub quests, pick up studs, discover treasures, collect relics, pick up Master Pieces, and build certain objects to overcome X obstacle. Yes we can build flying vehicles, cars, motorbikes, boats, and we can also build structures, namely buildings. This last one, we can only do on the planet Syspocalypstar. As you can see, there is much to do. We have items that can help us do lots of things. By giving a few examples, Builder Page helps us build certain kinds of things like generators, vehicles, or buildings. The Binnoculars Scanner can analyze objects and unlock certain paths. Danger Fists knock down certain walls and make life easier against our enemies. Paint Wand paints not only the scenarios of the planets but also objects that have no life. The Jet Wings is a Jet Pack in which we can fly for a certain time. There are five types of relics that we will get throughout the game and can be opened in the Shop of each planet: Item Relic, which contains weapons, stickers and the like, Character Relic, which contains characters, Construction Relic, which allows building buildings and vehicles, Super Item Relics, which contains super-skill items and Mega-Relics, which contains an Item Relic, Character Relic, and Construction Relic bundle. If we get a repeat item, we get a Mega-Relic Shard and with five of them we get a Mega-Relic. In the Shops we can also buy Bricks objects, weapons, characters, vehicles and bundles. These bricks bundles, be they orange, white or brown, for example, are used to construct the various objects and vehicles. However, it should be mentioned that I took 2 bugs in the Shop that forced me to restart the game. All of this happened when you opened a Mega-Relic. I couldn't see the prizes or go somewhere. By definition, the player can initially only play with Emmet. But over time, the player is getting more characters and can play as Batman, Aquaman, Lucy, Benny or Unikitty. There are more than 100 characters that the player can use, not counting with the personalization (body, arms, hands, legs, hats, hair, heads, cloaks). Content is something not missing in this game of TT. Speaking of the game itself, it's extremely simple and funny. While I think the bosses were slightly harder to make the thing more challenging. But it is understood that this game has been made to be accessible for all ages. Regarding the game quests, leaving aside the weak history, I do not have major reasons for complaint. But in the sub-quests, there is some lack of variety and it turns out to be a bit boring. Yes, just like all other LEGO games from TT, The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame has a local cooperative mode, but they could have implemented a dynamic Split-Screen to make life easier for gamers. The soundtrack is reasonable and suits the type of game. The camera, as usual, is clumsy in tight places and loadings are a bit long. In short, The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame could have been a better game, but the development seems to have been somewhat rushed. Those who are fed up with the old formula of the LEGO games of TT and who hope for news in this game will not find them here.

Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal6
Jan 29, 2019
The Senran Kagura series, which although is not very well-known by these sides, already takes a good 7 years always to offer content perverted, disparate, coarse and... a bit hilarious. This is all part of the DNA of the series. And after the spin-off of water guns (Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash), here comes Senran Kagura Burst Re: Newal for PlayStation 4 and for PC. Note that this game is a remake of Senran Kagura: Skirting Shadows and Senran Kagura Burst (Director's Cut of Skirting Shadows) that came out for Nintendo 3DS. The story is ok. Senran Kagura Burst Re: Newal is a Musou, which means that most missions are 1 vs "N" of enemies. It's easy to pick up and get used to the game, be it attacking, running, jumping, executing techniques, defending and parrying. Pure and hard action along with the 60 FPS that the game commands. This despite the game camera, as in the Estival Versus, is a bit annoying, especially when we are leaning against some wall. And we also have 1 vs 1 matches. In Senran Kagura: Estival Versus we had Multiplayer with Free for all battles, Capture-The-Bra and Understorm, but strange as it may seem, Senran Kagura Burst Re: Newal don't have Multiplayer. When we deal damage to the opponent in a 1-on-1 match, in a matter of time, the clothes get ripped to the full strip. The character is naked and the intimate parts of it... are covered by an intense brightness. All 12 characters have different moves and weapons from each other. All 12 characters have different moves and weapons from each other. All characters have these 3 styles: Flash Style (normal), Yang Style (Post transformation "Shinobi") and Yin Style (Frantic). Initially, during the missions we only have two options: Flash Style or Yin Style. In Frantic mode, it's true that we take greater damage, but it also increases power and our combos become infinite. As we evolve styles and character, we gain new combos (Flash and Yang) and get new abilities (Yin and Yang). As in Estival versus, our character can do "Shinobi" transformation. I put it in quotation marks because let's just say... almost all the characters don't wear Shinobi clothes. When we make the transformation, we have a better moveset compared to Flash Style, the attack becomes slightly more powerful and our life bar is regenerated to the maximum point. In both Yin and Yang, we can use the techniques Secret Ninja Arts and the Ultimate Secret Ninja Arts. During our missions, we can pick up Secret Files (collectibles), Health Items and Secret Growth Medicine. Regarding the latter, these can be used to level up our female characters. Speaking about main missions, basically the objective is only 1 vs 100 and 1 vs 1. The excess of repetitiveness is so much that the user ends up having enough of the game sooner or later if he have little or no patience. When we complete the main quests or free missions, we earn experience points, earn money, can be used in the Shop (to get clothes, music, etc.) and most of the time in the main missions, we unlock Free Missions that don't pass of... more of the same. We also have the Training Grounds to train our skills. And unsurprisingly, we have a Dressing Room, where we can change the clothes (before transformation and put transformation) of our characters, as well as Lingerie or hair and add accessories for our character. We also have the Diorama mode where we can take pictures with our favorite characters in several different ways. Where is the Intimacy Mode which we had on Estival Versus and Peach Beach Splash for example? It was withdrawn at 100%. Because of the new policies of Sony (NA/ EU). And this happened well before the game's release date was announced. For those who don't know what this mode is, Intimacy mode allows us to interact (in many different ways) with the character through the virtual hands in order to get a response from that same character. Yes, I know this sounds strange, especially with the "adult-child" characters. Senran Kagura Burst Re: Newal uses the same graphic engine as Estival Versus and Peach Beach Splash. Apart from the designs of some of the arenas that could have been better treated, they visually comply. Characters graphically well treated without counting the gelatinous movements of their breasts. Speaking of the soundtrack, taking out one or another good song, the rest is just acceptable. Overall, Senran Kagura Burst Re: Newal can be fun for a while and have positive things, but compared to Estival Versus, it has suffered several cuts in terms of "salt" to hold me in the game even more. Instead of evolving, it simply regressed. And some of the problems present in Estival Versus (the camera and the design of the arenas) are still included in this Burst Re: Newal. You want a good Senran Kagura? Choose Peach Beach Splash. Want a good action game Senran Kagura? Choose Estival Versus. The Burst Re: Newal is below these two.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds7
Dec 21, 2018
When did the Battle Royale mode come on? It all started in 2015 when H1Z1: King of the Hill, developed by Daybreak Game Company arrived in Steam's Early Access. But it was the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to give popularity to this mode. Since then, games like Fortnite: Battle Royale, Realm Royale, thre Blackout mode of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and future Battlefield V Firestorm mode being developed by Criterion Games with the partnership of EA DICE, have been following this Battle Royale madness. And almost 1 year after leaving for the Xbox One and PC, behold finally comes to the console of Sony. Being a Battle Royale, exploiting, looting and surviving, are the watchwords in this PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. But let's go in parts. We have 4 modes to choose from: Solo, Duo (2 players), Squad (4 players) and 1-Man Squad. We start inside a plane, always with different trajectories, along with the remaining 99 players, and we have to choose a place where we want to land. But be careful if there are enemy players nearby and if so, it is sensible to change direction, otherwise there is a huge risk of being killed at first. After we've landed and since we have nothing but fists, you'd better explore houses to get bulletproof vests, backpacks, guns, mufflers, and other gear to help us survive. You should also be aware of supply drops that are stuffed with good things. We also have lots of vehicles to use (if needed). During our adventures on the map, the red areas appear. These are zones that we have to avoid at 100%, unless you are in the mood to take some explosives. As is usual in the genre, we have to go to the safety zone on the map to avoid being eliminated from the game. The more time passes (if we are still alive), the smaller the safety zone becomes, until it is reduced to nothing. But calm down. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds have a high learning curve, but the game provides us with a way in which we can train the mechanics of the game. It's a great way to get used to the gameplay before we go to the wolf's mouth. What about the available maps? It's only 3 (4 if we count with the Vikendi, which arrives in January for the consoles), but they are huge and there are lots of places to explore. The maps are the Miramar, Erangel and Sanhok. And they are all based on real regions of our world. These are just a few small points in favor of this game. What isn't in favor of this PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, is the graphics, frame rate and textures that take time to load. Visually, the game isn't appealing and considering that runs only at 30 FPS, they could have done a better job in this department. Even Blackout of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which run at 60 FPS, features better graphics than PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. Even in the frame rate issue, the work in this part is little famous. There is always a drop of 10 frames when we are using the parachute and it is something that PUBG Corporation should have already corrected. Outside of that, I have no great reasons for frame rate complaints during gameplay and during some confrontation with some adversary. Textures that take time to load right in front of us, unfortunately, is something that often happens. In PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the player can choose third-person or first-person perspective. Despite these technical issues, oddly enough the gameplay of PUBG is addictive, especially if we play as a team, thanks to the more realistic side. It's sure to be very frustrating in the first matches and the game is not for everyone. A false move can be fatal and accurate shots are required. Obviously, it isn't mandatory but it is recommended to use your headset to have a better perception of your surroundings and where the danger comes from. Otherwise, it is difficult to hear the footsteps or shots of our opponents, for example. Depending on our performance (deaths, survival time for example), at the end of the game we gain BP points and experience points. As we level our survivor level with our experience points, we get a special item. It can be a cosmetic item for our character or BP points. There are daily and weekly missions to make and win xp, such as playing three games or using 8 first aid kits. We can at least change one of our 3 daily missions once if we don't like this or that daily mission. BP points are used to purchase boxes with a random cosmetic item, Helmets or Camos. However, certain items can only be purchased with G-Coins (Micro-transactions). In short, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a good game despite the technical problems. Veredict: Although technically poor performance, PUBG can be good thanks to realistic gameplay.

Fallout 766
Dec 5, 2018
Fallout 76 has as background stage Appalachia, a representation of West Virginia. And it's a much bigger map than Fallout 4. The sounds and chaotic, inhospitable and apocalyptic environments of Fallout have always been good and in Fallout 76 they have kept the same quality, although the graphics engine is very dated, but that's something I'll talk about later. Anyone who knows the formula of this series, will easily become familiar with Fallout 76. Explore locations and homes, avoid radioactive sites, shoot down enemies, etc. This is all part of DNA Fallout. Being a game always online, the (public) servers of the game are dedicated. It's a pity that we have to take the Player vs Player, which implies that there may be that fear because of this or that player might ruin our progress and steal our base that was built. What... isn't even a plus for Fallout 76. Luckily, when we die, we lose only rubbish and some caps (about the last, we only lose if we are defeated in a PvP confrontation). And whenever we die we have to do Respawn and pay a certain number of caps (it depends on how far we are from the place where we died) to be in X location that we have discovered. Yes, it is possible to recover the garbage that we lost, is just go to the place where we were slaughtered. Bethesda is expected to keep the promise of adding private servers in a future update to avoid clashes with other players. And of course, it's possible to invite friends or strangers to our group or join an existing group. Speaking of gameplay, it's almost the same as the previous Fallout and the player is still able to choose the 3rd or 1st person perspective. As it is a multiplayer game, the only thing have changed in the gameplay was the V.A.T.S. (Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System), and if Fallout 4 allowed us to pause the game and target certain parts of the body of our enemy and see them "cinematicaly" take with our bullets, this Fallout 76 takes place in real time and this time we can only target the torso. In most missions we have to get to a specific location to get some recording and listen to it in our Pip Boy, pick up some object, use a certain option on the terminals or kill a specific enemy. Fallout 76 has online events to complete, which offer items and XP as a reward. For example, we have to survive several waves of enemies, and if we complete that same event, we win XP, caps, drinks and ammunition, among other things. The hability to construct bases, which was added in Fallout 4, is also present in Fallout 76. It serves to render useful the garbage we collect while exploring the map and make resources and defenses. Don't worry, in case you are out of the game, you don't lose those bases that were built because they will be engraved on your profile. There are temporary challenges to do and if we succeed in one of these challenges, we get atomics or a pack of perks for our S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system. And speaking of this system, each time we level up, we gain a point of experience that can be used to improve one of seven attributes: Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility or Luck. When opening a pack of cards, we gain perks such as Lead Belly (Endurance) or Iron Fist (Strength), which can be placed in our system S.P.E.C.I.A.L.. If you have repeated cards, in some perks we can merge those cards. And now, for example, if we have Lead Belly on level 3 and Endurance on level 2, the card cannot be used because it has to be equal to or worse than the level of our attribute. Atomics are used to acquire clothes, hair, skins, emotes, icons and other cosmetic things in Atomic Shop. These atomics can also be acquired through microtransactions. Talking about the negative aspects, Fallout 76 maintains four chronic problems of the previous entries of the series, namely graphs, Bugs, Glitches and Freezes. Fortunately, the frame rate is slightly more stable after the 1.02 update. As for the graphics, it is inadmissible that Bethesda Game Studios use the same engine already almost 10 years. Fallout 76 has a dated look. Then there are too many bugs and glitches. Even after the 1.02 update has fixed some of the abnormal situations, there is still a long way to go, because there are still too many issues in quests that prevent me from completing them. And as for freezes, whenever I want to use V.A.T.S. or Pip-Boy, there's always got to be a hiccup to annoy me a bit. It is a case to say that Bethesda was stagnant in time. Don't be fooled; I like the Fallout series. And Fallout 76 is packed with mysteries, places to explore, has a good atmosphere and is a fun game to play with friends. But that's not enough. The lack of private servers, the constant flaws and the super-dated graphics engine is to let the hair stand. Fallout 76 comes closer to a Multiplayer mode of Fallout 4 than a new game. And in my opinion, it is a game that isn't worth buying already, by having into count what it offers and the many problems.

Hitman 29
Nov 19, 2018
More like 8,5/10 than 9/10. The life of a spy isn't a very pleasant job. Snake and Sam Fisher knows that feeling. Avoid being discovered, wearing disguises, discovering certain information, avoiding making noises, creating distractions, pursuing and eliminating targets, and making the evidence disappear. All this is part of the life of an agent for governmental purposes or, in some cases, to save the world. And the life of Agent 47 created by IO Interactive couldn't be different. Here our friend 47 travels on a mission to hunt down the strange Shadow Client and dismember his militia. And the first clue is to find the location of Alma Reynard, who is the lieutenant of the Shadow Client. And the rest... you have to find out for yourselves as always. Well, as I said before, avoiding being discovered, wearing disguises, and making use of the tools at our disposal to complete the mission is part of the DNA of the Hitman series. But nothing is that simple. To get into certain restricted places where the targets or secret information are, we have to be disguised and yet we must be careful because some individuals know "their troops". And the solution to this is to stand with our backs to them, or hide in the tall grass or in the middle of the crowd. Avoid making noise? No kicking around with the target with witnesses nearby and no bang bang without muffler. Yes, it's a good idea to eliminate our targets with our silencer gun, but there are other ways to eliminate targets such as being killed when they ingest drinks with rat poison or pushing them directly from a tall building. As you can see, there are a thousand and one ways to eliminate the targets, as long as there are no witnesses. We can also create distractions for certain individuals including targets, such as the open bathroom faucet, all to lure our fly into our spider's web. But a very rare occasion, probably a bug, I saw one of the targets on one of the missions "undecided" whether to close the bathroom faucet or not. But it was a strange little detail. For those who come from the 2016 Hitman, in terms of gameplay is almost exactly the same, despite having received a few improvements. On the one hand, this means that we are facing a Hitman 1.5, but on the other hand, the excellent gameplay has remained. And yes, it is possible to play the Hitman 1 DLC's (remastered) if they have the 2016 game. The addition of the concussive grenades and the vision of the security cameras helps to vary only a little the mechanics of the game, as well as help the Hitman 2 to be an accessible game, depending on the difficulty. I really enjoyed the locations that are present and well portrayed in this Hitman 2. We will be in places like the Favelas of Brazil, Miami and Colombia. I notice that the enemy AI of this Hitman 2 is clever, although they are a bit generous, but it is one thing that makes sense. For example, if I go directly to the restricted zones, the AI, when it sees us, order us to leave the forbidden zone immediately. Which gives us a few seconds to get out of this zone and avoid the maximum alert. One small interesting detail is the AI carrying the dead bodies inside the bags. Also present are Sniper Assassin modes (Single-player and Multiplayer) and Ghost Mode (Multiplayer) modes. In short, if you love the Hitman series or love espionage games, Hitman 2 is totally recommended to you. Veredict: Although it doesn't offer much in relation to its predecessor, Hitman 2 is a game of enormous quality.

Football Manager 20198
Nov 11, 2018
Another year, another Football Manager brought by Sports Interactive. This series has been coming since 2005 and as such, fans should be eager to know what the small news of this new version. Signing up for a club as a coach, setting tactics and training, hiring and taking the club as far as possible in national and international competitions are things that are part of everyday life in Football Manager. But let's go directly to the news features of this Football Manager 2019. Now we have more realistic and detailed training sessions. Each day has two or three training sessions that can be dedicated to game tactics, attacking or defensive moves, or more general things. In other words, whatever we understand. It may be a bit annoying at first to be altering train X on day X, but it's a very good feature. The tactics have also been changed ... and for the better. Movements with or without ball are back. Now we can change our tactics more deeply and there are lots of options for the player to choose and form the kind of game they want. The Tiki-taka of Barcelona, the bus of José Mourinho or the Gegenpressing of Jürgen Klopp. Yes, at the beginning it is natural that it is difficult to define a tactic with feets and head, especially for those who are new to the Football Manager series, but this is part of the menu, which makes things more rewarding. It should be noted that the 1st Division German (Bundesliga) and the 2nd Division German have for the first time the teams, equipment and licensed players. Football Manager 2019 also added the VAR (Video-referee), which allows us to see the marked offsides. But not everything is roses in this new version, because Football Manager and Transfers are two words that don't match. Unfortunately, it's already a common problem in the Football Manager series. It continues to make zero-sense clubs asking for more than 100 million euros for an unknown young player. Visually, Football Manager games have never been appealing (nor was it ever their goal), but that's because the producers have always wanted to make the Football Manager series a lightweight game. However, 3D Match Engine received improvements, especially with the physics of the ball. Negative points are the transfer market, the number of injuries a bit exaggerated and the printing conferences are something generic and repetitive. In the end, Football Manager 2019 turns out to be a good improvement over last year's version. Veredict: Football Manager 2019 has received some modifications for the better and is recommended for fans of the series.

LEGO DC Super-Villains7
Oct 29, 2018
Traveler's Tales is an English company that has developed projects such as Sonic 3D Blast and Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, but their specialization is different. Since 2008, this studio has been dedicated to the LEGO brand and there are almost countless number of LEGO branded games that the studio has already released in a decade. And this without counting the games developed by the English division of the company (TT Fusion). Traveler's Tales once again picked up the DC Comics universe, but now they have opted for another approach, giving greater focus to the villains. This means that villains like Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Ultraman and Sinestro are present in LEGO DC Super-Villains. But I said "greater focus". As it couldn't be, heroes such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern were not left out and even playable. Commissioner Gordon oversees the transfer of The Rookie to Stryker Island in Metropolis. The Rookie is caught after he has been illegally placed in Professor Ivo's laboratory. With a hand of the incarcerated Lex Luthor, Gordon says that the Rookie had access to a movement that allows him to consume superpowers coming from Project Amazo. However, Commissioner Gordon didn't count with the presence of Mercy Graves, who helps free Rookie and Lex Luthor from prison. What happens from here? Well, that's something you'll find out when you play this title. What I can say about the story mode is that, despite being simplistic, I notice that it have charm; humor is simple but effective. I can even say that the campaign of this LEGO DC Super-Villains gives a small snap to the latest DC movies. LEGO DC Super-Villains is an action game and platforms in the third person, like LEGO's previous LEGO games. Overcoming a particular obstacle, building a specific object, completing puzzles and defeating bosses is the usual cycle in the series and is also part of the LEGO DC Super-Villains menu. And while it's fun in the early days, it quickly becomes a bit annoying due to the over-repetitiveness of the above cycle, coupled with the fact that the gameplay, coupled with the camera that doesn't help in some situations, is sometimes tricky. Boss fights aren't challenging because they use the same structure. Surely these Traveler's Tales LEGO have been successful, but the producer has to start adding something new in the upcoming LEGO game and reviewing the problems in the gameplay because it isn't the first time these problems appear. But it's still a fun title anyway. Don't forget the cooperative mode that helps make the game even more fun. Although it's a long way from being a Grand Theft Auto, the free roam of the LEGO DC Super-Villains comes to help you get an idea of what a world is like with the Danish brand. Gotham, Metropolis and the Apokolis are the sites that are present in this mode. There are several sub-missions, races (time-trials) and challenges to entertain the player, but little more than that. We have over 150 characters to buy or unlock and they all have different powers and abilities from one to the another. Graphics? Meet the requirements. Soundtrack? He is competent, although in one instance i caught a bug in which police music was activated sometimes, even without me being chased by the police. Traveler's Tales unfortunately didn't innovate and did not create anything that would differ from this other LEGO games. And the formula that has been successful in other games, may no longer work from now on. But that doesn't make the LEGO DC Super-Villains a bad game. Despite your problems, it's simple, fun and friendly. Veredict: LEGO DC Super-Villains is fun like the other LEGO titles of this studio, but something innovative is still not presented.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 49
Oct 18, 2018
One, two, three... no, this is the fifteenth Call of Duty. And for the first time in a title of this franchise, there isn't single-player campaign. Maybe because the Black Ops 3 campaign fell it was a disappointment compared to the Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2, or even World at War. Or Treyarch focused too much on the multiplayer component that ran out of time for more. Regardless of the reason, Black Ops 4 has no single-player component, but in contrast, the biggest focus on multiplayer is made to feel positively throughout the game. Starting with the main novelty, Blackout is Black Ops 4's Battle Royale mode. For those unfamiliar with this, it's a way that puts 95 players against each other on a massive map filled with well-known locations in the series. The player may choose to play in teams of four, of two or else test their ability on solo. Depending on certain factors, it may be difficult to find players at the beginning due to the size of the map, but fortunately the safety zones will make encounters with opponents players more frequent. If we want to have more characters in Blackout, we have to complete the requirements of each character. Despite the amount of frustration due to my failures and my lack of luck, I confess that this Blackout was a pleasant surprise and is undoubtedly a good Battle Royale mode. Although it doesn't have a single-player campaign, the game provides us with Substories about Specialists and these events take place between Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 3. It isn't really a substitute for a real campaign, but it serves to pause the competitive aspect. And speaking of a competitive aspect, before embarking on the multiplayer of Black Ops 4, it is necessary to choose the specialist class. The game presents a total of 10 classes, namely Ruin, Prophet, Battery, Seraph, Nomad, Firebreaker, Recon, Ajax, Torque and Crash, these four last ones being a debut. As for modes, Control, Heist, Free For All, Kill Confirmed are present for example. The multiplayer has undergone some changes to encourage players to do teamwork, to be more tactical and to reduce the number of rambo users. And one of those changes was to remove the heath regeneration. To recover life, we must use the gear item Stim Shot. In other words, healing is now a manual rather than an automatic action, which adds to this tactical factor, in that it is necessary to choose between risking another confrontation or withdrawing tactics to regain life. Also note that the double jumps, long slips, walk the walls and other unnecessary things that were in Black Ops 3 were removed. The Black Ops 4 clashes all take place on the ground and everything runs smoothly, fast and more balanced. However, spawns need tweaking on some maps. No surprises, the Zombies co-op mode is back, now bigger than ever. This way, despite having some familiar aspects, which even a positive point, also suffered some changes. For example, the GobbleGums have been replaced by Elixirs. The four perks (Quick Revive, Stamin-Up, Eletric Burst and Mule Kick) are still present, but some new ones have been added, such as Timeslip, Death Perception, Dying Wish and Stone Cold Stronghold. In addition, we can customize the perks or statues of the Voyage of Despair map to the perks we want. And we have Special Weapons and talismans that can be used during our battles. In Zombies, the player can choose Classic mode or Rush mode. In this last mode, there is a Mystery Box in all the spawns spots, we can get perks or open the Mystery Box without spending a single point. Now, certain sites can only be accessed once a wave of enemies has been completed. And right now, during some wave of enemies, we have to be inside the safety zone and endure. As for maps are available the Voyage of Despair, IX and the Blood of the Dead. Voyage of Despair takes us on a boat inspired by the Titanic, while the IX is staging an ancient area of Rome. Finally, Blood of the Dead takes us back to the Alcatraz Prison and as you may be thinking, this is a remake of the Black Ops 2's DLC Uprising Mob of the Dead map. Scarlett Rhodes, Bruno Delacroix, Diego Becalli and Stanton Shaw are among the characters we will use in Voyage of Despair and IX, while Blood of the Dead is represented by Edward Richtofen, Tank Dempsey Takeo Masaki and Nikolai Belinski. Don't think it's just killing enemies in this Zombies mode. There are several challenges for the player to complete, such as obtaining certain rare weapons or finding easter eggs on a specific map. Overall, Treyarch has made some changes to this Zombie mode, but without drastically changing what fans like so much in this mode. In short, even without a traditional single-player campaign, Treyarch has produced one of the best Call of Duty since the original Black Ops.

V-Rally 46
Sep 13, 2018
6.5 than 6. V-Rally 4 is a simcade, in other words, a combination between arcade and simulation. As it is a joint, it requires some habituation to get the way, so that we do not lose control of the back of our car. And of course, we also have to take into account weather, braking points, acceleration points, the speed of our car and the huge amount of bumps in Rally mode. But the results themselves are very good. The game is difficult, especially in the Rally, but not as difficult as the DiRT Rally. Because let's say it can be a rally simulator, but at the same time it doesn't have that exaggerated difficulty like in the game of Codemasters for having a "Arcade" part. I can not help but admire the physics of the game. Sometimes, giving a little touch to a rock with any wheel is enough for our car to get out of control. And at this point I felt that it was my fault, not the game. However, it is in the penalties that the V-Rally 4 crashes immensely. Sometimes I do somersaults and get off the road, then back on track and suddenly take five seconds of penalty or worse. It doesn't make any sense. V-Rally 4 has a good range of modes in addition to rallying, such as V-Rallycross, Hillclimb, Buggy and Extreme-khana. V-Rallycross and Buggies mode involve racing in closed circuits, both of which have their slight differences as it is obvious, for example, in buggies we have to pay attention to the huge bumps, otherwise we will hit some obstacle. However, there is a weakness in V-Rallycross. On very rare occasions, I saw the AI (at maximum difficulty) to be too aggressive to throw off the lane or hit a wall. This is a point that Kylotonn should correct in the future. In turn, Hillclimb are rally-style races but with many powerful cars, roads always paved and without the co-driver. And who remembers the Gymkhanas of DiRT 3? For this Extreme-khana is more or less similar to this mode of DiRT 3, except that they are run in closed circuits timed in airports, in the docks or in abandoned places. At the location level, there are countries such as the United States of America, Kenya, China, Japan, Bolivia and Russia. Speaking of the career mode of V-Rally 4, we can only initially choose and buy a car from one of these two classes: V-Rallycross or Rally. When we won the races, we received money as a reward, money that can be used to buy new cars, to repair the damages of our cars after some race, or even to hire staff for our team, namely Engineers, Mechanics and Agents. Each of these three elements I have mentioned have their purpose. For example, some agents can find events with a good reward. And yes, it is possible to buy upgrades for our cars. At this point, I found the career mode funny, however, I picked up bugs in some championships with more than one country in V-Rallycross and Buggy, which made my best time (total) not recorded, forcing me to lose points. V-Rally 4 has a great range of vehicles, including names like Lancia Stratos, Volkswagen Polo RX, Citröen Xsara Kit Car, Ford Focus RS RX and Skoda Fabia RS. However, it causes me some strangeness the fact that the game doesn't have any Peugeot or even a single Subaru Impreza. Just as it is strange to see the small front wheels of some cars compared to reality (Citröen Xsara Kit Car, for example). In terms of car sounds, they aren't bad but they could be better. Listening to a Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997) with the same sound as the Porsche 911 Carrera Safari, I admit i didn't like it. The same goes for the visual damage system. Kylotonn Racing also introduced Custom Liveries in V-Rally 4. An always funny and fun option, although limited for obvious reasons compared to the Custom Liveries of Gran Turismo Sport. We can also take photos in photomode mode, although it is limited in terms of options. Visually they are far from excellent (the Gran Turismo Sport did me very badly), but as already said, it have some beautiful scenarios. Yes, as inevitably could not be, V-Rally 4 has Multiplayer (in local split screen or online) to try to entertain us for some time. It is a case to say that the French company Kylotonn Racing was almost all right. It's a shame, because I even found the gameplay to be fun, even if it was not perfect. But some bugs that need to be fixed, some inconsistent AI, some models of strange cars and some limitations on the photomode, shoot this game for medium. Unfortunately it wasn't one of the best returns in the V-Rally series.

Pro Evolution Soccer 20198
Sep 8, 2018
7.5/10 than 8/10 Pro Evolution Soccer is a series developed by Konami that has been coming since 2001, not counting the International Superstar Soccer and Goal Storm for PSOne. And as such, this year also doesn't escape to another Pro Evolution Soccer entry. There are several new features this year. The UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League licenses went to the EA Sports game and as such Konami had to find alternatives to try to fill this hole. And the alternatives were these: Russian Premier League (exclusivo), Spor Toto Süper Lig (Turkish league), Superliga (Danish league), Liga NOS (Portuguese league), Raiffeisen Super Ligue (Swiss league), Ladbrokes Premiership (Scottish league) and Jupiler Pro League (Belgium league). In turn, clubs like FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC, AC Milan, Arsenal FC and FC Schalke 04, among others, are part of the partnership with the Konami game. As you can see, the Japanese publisher took pains in this chapter. In addition to the real stadiums such as Camp Nou, Anfield Road and Emirates Stadium, Konami's usual generic stadiums are also present. Who is back is the Jose Alvalade Stadium and the Stade Louis II (via DLC), while new stadiums in PES series we have, for example, the Veltins-Arena, Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, Celtic Park, Ibrox Stadium, Palestra Italia, and these last three will leave via DLC. Of course, the Master League, the Rise to ****, the offline and online Cooperative and myClub are present in PES 2019. Both the Master League and the Rise to **** haven't undergo any significant changes. MyClub is an online mode similar to the FIFA FUT, in which we have to get scouts, coaches and players, in order to build a dream team capable of taking us to the top. And for that it is necessary to have points or coins (micro-transactions) if we want to have quality players. However, the fact that the Game Rhythm in myClub is automatically set to +2, will not please many. About the connection in the games, I don't have major reasons to complaint. Speaking of gameplay, it hasn't changed significantly compared to PES 2018. However, depth passes are now no longer very fatal, which is a good thing. In addition, the physics of the ball is quite good, reacting as expected. And I noticed that the Goalkeepers didn't make those unbelievable mistakes again. However, I feel that there are strange faults that are marked and I notice that the CPU doesn't diversifies its way to attack. In graphic terms, Konami never fails in this regard. It's always interesting to see the atmosphere of the stadiums and most of the faces of the super realistic players as well as the facial expressions of the players, especially when they react to what goes on inside the four lines. And what about the audience's sounds in stadiums? I feel that the public shoulded be more effusive every time we score a goal. About commentators, for a long time, is a chronic problem of the PES series and, once again, continues to fail in this department, since the comments are extremely repetitive, biased and boring. If you listen to Pedro Sousa and Luís Freitas Lobo is bad, the English comments are also not much better. On the soundtrack, X Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons, Awolnation and Jay Prince, are some of the examples of artists who are part of the list of songs you will hear while navigating the menus. In short, PES 2019 has lost the licenses of UEFA to its rival franchise, and it continues to feel the lack of important leagues like Barclays Premier League, Bundesliga and LaLiga Santander. But I still enjoy this title, thanks to fun gameplay and finally have seen a greater investment in the acquisition of licensed content. Verdict: Despite making the same mistakes, PES 2019 continues to be fun to play.

Yakuza Kiwami 210
Sep 1, 2018
The series created by Toshihiro Nagashi (who was the supervisor of Shenmue I), began to gain much fame and visibility after the launch of Yakuza 0, having managed to achieve success like never before seen in the history of the franchise. But who knows Yakuza certainly will not be surprised because, except for the Yakuza: Dead Souls, it is a series that has been progressively delivering titles with more and more quality. In August of last year, SEGA decided to announce the remake of Yakuza 2 for PlayStation 4, Yakuza Kiwami 2. After the events of Yakuza Kiwami, Kazuma Kiryu is obliged to speak to the Tojo Clan due to certain events, in order to alert the serious consequences that were approaching and to propose a plan of action. 248/5000 Well, in relation to story mode, it is just like the other Yakuza; can transmit that feeling of anger, that desire to cry because of some emotional moments and always with those exceptional Japanese voices. Not to mention that it is stuffed with epic battles and "dynamic intros" to fill the eye. As you can see, it's still a Yakuza. Kiwami 2 uses the same Yakuza 6: The Song of Life graphics engine, and although I am not very favor with the 30 FPS, I must admit that eye candy and super stable frame rate can make me forget it. Kamurocho, as always, could not miss Kiwami 2. What is also back is the city Sotenbori that was already present in Yakuza 0 and 5. The gameplay and system upgrades are exactly the same as the Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, little or almost nothing has changed. And we have more Heat Actions (and some old ones returned) in relation to the 6 and I have to confess once again, that despite being somewhat violent, I didn't restrain the laughter in some Essences. Now during the fighting we can pick up and store certain weapons from the streets of Kamurocho and Sotenbori so that we can use them on other occasions. Speaking of news, we have a new mode, called Majima Xonstructions, which is something similar to the Clan Creator of Yakuza 6, with the difference that we have to defend certain materials of the delinquents. We can always spend Yens to do Scounting or improve materials or vehicles to strengthen our base. One of the weaknesses of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life was that the fights at the Coliseum and gambling had been withdrawn. Well, they're back in this Yakuza Kiwami 2. This despite the case of games in casinos only have Blackjack and Poker and the case of the Japanese game betting, we have only the Oicho-kabu and Koi-koi. We have a way in which we photograph women in moments that are a bit perverted, but still have their fun. In the Club SEGA we have the UFO Catcher, Virtual-On, Virtua Fighter 2 and a mini-game... in the bathroom. All this is part of Japanese culture. Also we have as always the Mahjong, Karaoke, and another mini-games. This time the Kazuma Kiryu will not be a Hostess Clubs customer, but rather, a manager. And as such, the player will have to pay attention to the requests and mental health of the Hostesses when they have clients, so that the club will have fame and money. And in Kiwami 2 we have a little extra, in which we can play with the wackiest hero in the Yakuza series, Goro Majima. This is a small scenario that explains certain events between Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2. Since Majima always uses a knife in his right hand during fights by definition, the player cann't pick up objects and the list of Heat Actions he can perform is very limited compared to Kiryu. But even so, it's a powerful and fun character to play. We also have the Bouncer Missions, which are challenges in which we have to "clean" the enemies of the streets of Kamurocho and Sotenbori. About the soundtrack, I can only say that it is as wonderful as the rest of the series. The game is also full of funny side quests to entertain the players. It is impossible not to love Kiwami 2, even with its tiny flaws such as Pool and Bowling absences. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best Yakuza ever. Verdict: The Yakuza Studio always manages to surprise in each Yakuza and this Kiwami 2 was a sublime work of the producer.

Strange Brigade8
Aug 28, 2018
If you usually play the works of Rebellion, like Sniper Elite and Zombie Arms Trilogy, surely you will feel familiar with this Strange Brigade. It is a cooperative Third-person shooter (we can also play solo) and the objective is to kill mummies and explore ancient ruins. And no, it's not the first time that Rebellion makes mummy-related games, since in 2000 we had The Mummy for PSOne and for PC. Imagine the Strange Brigade as if it was a 1930s English television series, in which 4 heroes have to kill the spirit of Seteki, a wicked, power-thirsty queen who was released by archeologist Edgar Harbin. Nalangu Rushida, Gracie Braithwaite, Prof. Archimedes de Quincey and Frank Fairburne are the names of the characters. During the gameplay or during a cutscene, Strange Brigade manages to positively capture the spirit of the adventurous series of the thirties. However, Rebellion made a basic mistake, which shouldn't happen as often as it still does: subtitles are lowercase. Sometimes I don't even notice the captions and this thought comes to me after I've been distracted, "huh? What? What happened?". As I said earlier, the player will have to venture through unexplored places, always with the Storyteller to describe the events, and use the gray matter to solve the puzzles, discover treasures and diaries, kill mummies, skeletons and a few more creatures. The campaign of the game is not so linear and as a result we have to look at the sites and find out what it is we can do to open the way to move or unlock a secret room, which in my opinion was an aspect that I pleased since I like slightly challenging puzzles. But don't worry, because some puzzles are between the easy and the normal. There are always traps that can be used against our enemies, but be careful, because you or your partners can take with these traps that is almost certain death. We have a good range of weapons from rifles, machine guns, shotguns, pistols, revolvers, dynamite, grenades, molotov **** and amulets. Speaking of amulets, let's say they are a kind of special blow that can be used against enemies. An example of this is the Chariot Charge that knocks down the mummies with devastating force. In order to use the amulets, we have to kill the enemies and collect the souls they left until the sphere is filled. Strange Brigade does not have energy regeneration (except when in the red zone), so we have to use health potions to revitalize our energy. By the way, you can't take more than one health potion. Whenever the player is killed and if he has a health potion in his possession, we can be resurrected in a sarcophagus (but with the energy bar in the red zone). Nice right? In addition to the campaign mode, we also have Horde mode (surviving waves of enemies) and Score Attack. In any of these modes, the player can play on solo or in cooperative mode for up to 4 players. And speaking in this latter way, it is always funny and satisfying to play cooperative (especially with friends), not having noticed any problems with LAG. But here is a big flaw, as there is only cooperative online and no local multiplayer. It's a shame, as this game would be extremely fun with local co-op. Strange Brigade despite running at 30 FPS, also gives us the option of setting at 60 FPS, but with the frame rate unlocked. I confess that I didn't notice major problems of fluency during the 60 FPS and also didn't notice great visual differences between the two modes of performance. In short, despite having taken with the attacks of the mummies, the Rebellion manages to escape with life and arrives at the secret tomb in which it finds the good treasure called Strange Brigade. Verdict: Despite its flaws, Strange Brigade manages to be a good cooperative game with funny puzzles.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 29
Jul 27, 2018
More like 8.5/10 than 9/10 The Mega Man series, known as Rocketman in Japan, is an iconic 1980s brand such as Pac-Man, Frogger, Q*Bert or Arkanoid, and is almost as old as the Street Fighter series, also by Capcom. Following on from what he did in Street Fighter 30th Anniversary, the Japanese publisher decided to give the same treatment to the Mega Man franchise by making two X series collections. Each collection has 4 X series games; collection 1 was with Mega Man X, X2, X3 and X4, while collection 2 was with X5, X6, X7 and X8. Although I don't have much experience in the series, I realize why Mega Man is loved by millions of people. It's from those old games that shows why nostalgic games are fun but difficult, which to me is satisfying. Visually they are faithful to originals that have passed on SNES, Sega Saturn, PS1, PS2 and PC, and offer the possibility to change the size of the image, either to 4:3 or fill the entire screen. I being a retro gamer 90s, preferably always opto by 4:3 format. Those who want to, also have some different types of filters available that soften the graphics or emulate a CRT monitor. Capcom has made the great decision to put a Museum in the collections that will surely delight the fans as they are completely stuffed with information related to the Mega Man X series. Desde informações sobre as personagens de cada jogo, ilustrações, bandas sonoras, figuras de acção e trailers dos jogos (em japonês ou em Inglês), incluindo até cutscenes (anime) originalmente realizados no jogo Maverick Hunter X. I can not help but admit that Capcom was to be congratulated on this. In both collections, we have a mode called Mega Man X Challenge in which we have to face two bosses at the same time, regardless of the boss of the X series. An example of this is Chill Penguin (Mega Man X) with Frost Walrus (Mega Man X4). In any game, if the player experiences difficulties in progressing, it can change the difficulty for Rookie Hunter Mode. But I can not fail to mention a strange omission. I don't understand why Capcom didn't put the Mega Man X: Command Mission into these collections to make them even more appealing and complete. Despite this, and even though the X6, X7 and X8 do not look like much compared to the other titles, they have turned out to be two fun and enjoyable collections and sure enough fans of the iconic Mega Man series will be thrilled with the final result. Veredict: In short, two good collections for fans of the Mega Man series, which ends up serving as an appetizer for Mega Man 11.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle9
Jun 20, 2018
More like 8.5/10 than 9/10. Although the series BlazBlue is not properly known in Portugal, it is a series that is almost 10 years old, and is also a series developed by Arc System Works, the same producer that brought us the excellent Dragon Ball FighterZ, but also series as the Persona 4 Arena and Under Night In-Birth. Some members of ASW had the idea of putting the series BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth and debutant RWBY, along with the 2 vs 2 matches, all in the same bag. And the result was this: BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. A strange and mysterious voice decided to mix, through Phantom Field, four worlds into one and these members of each world were summoned without warning. Each group was advised, by such a mysterious voice, to maintain their Keystone and to take the Keystones from the other groups if they wish to return to their world. And although the story is just reasonable, it always have one or another hilarious moment (though it's simple) and, fortunately, unlike what happened in the Chronicles of Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late

ONRUSH8
Jun 14, 2018
Evolution Studios has always had a good curriculum for racing games at Sony, first with the WRC on PS2, then with the Motorstorm on PS3, and finally DriveClub on PS4. However, in 2016, Sony made changes to its internal studios and in the process, decided to close Evolution Studios, marking the end of the production. But this was a good example of "a door is closed and a window is opened". Shortly after his departure from Sony, the former members of Evolution Studios were hired by the British company Codemasters. But then, what do we have here, you ask? A recipe called Onrush, which features the Motorstorm and Burnout mixed into an action packed package. Onrush is an arcade racing game, but it is also a fighting game with vehicles. Sometimes the player can choose the class they want to use in an offline event, all of them have different characteristics and abilities from each other. We have several events with certain objectives to do at Onrush, but none of them says to stay in 1st place, something that may be strange for some, but that is a result of a style more focused on teamwork and combat, and not so much on performance individual. This means that we have to get organized to get points and making takedowns to the opponents in order to get the team to victory. In terms of game modes, in Overdrive we have to make 10000 points as fast as possible in a round (5 rounds maximum) through boost or Rush Ultimate, jumps and takedowns. Countdown mode has the general objective of trying to prevent the countdown of our team from running out and getting to the checkpoints as quickly as possible. Lockdown mode is a kind of Capture the zone. The goal is to capture the zones and for this we have to have more members of our team within that zone than the opposing team and hold 5 seconds. Finally, in switch mode we always start with bikes, we have to avoid Wrecks and knock down as many opponents as possible. Every time we take with a Wreck, we change vehicles. The first time I played Onrush, it reminded me no doubt of the Motorstorm series due to the scenarios used and in terms of gameplay, reminded me of the Burnout. What I can say is that despite its drawbacks, such as the fact that Takedowns and Wrecks are somewhat inconsistent (a hard knock sometimes does nothing, but a slight knock can cause the car to be destroyed), I thought that the vehicle's steering could be slightly lighter. This is particularly noticeable on tight corners. In addition, it should be noted that there is no local multiplayer mode via splitscreen. On the positive side, the action of the game is frantic and appealing thanks to 60 super-stable FPS. Never lose the joke to see the vehicles, either ours or those of the opponent, keep the pieces flying every time a Takedown happens. In addition to what I had previously mentioned, there is something called Rush Ultimate, which is a boost slightly more powerful than the normal boost. And when the vehicle uses this Rush Ultimate, in addition to the speed increase, depending on the vehicle, you can use a special movement on your opponents or partners. An example of this, is the Enforcer car, which makes opposing vehicles on its track temporarily blind. Whenever we complete an event, we are rewarded with experience, stars, if we have completed a challenge in that event, and coins to buy items, accessories and clothing, among other things. And no, fortunately there are no microtransactions in Onrush. When we level up, we are rewarded with a Crate Gear that contains three items, which can be paintings for our vehicles, clothing, celebrations or tricks for our characters, or tombstones. As you may have guessed, this means we can customize our vehicles, choose our character and personalize it, as well as choose our Tombstone and Crashtag. In graphical terms, they are visually not perfect, but this is completely supplanted thanks to the fluidity obtained with the 60 FPS. Onrush also has a good soundtrack, able to create a good atmosphere in both the menus and during the races, which features songs by artists such as Amon Tobin and Coldcut. In short, it is true that the gameplay of Onrush will not please everyone, especially those who wanted a true spiritual successor to Motorstorm, but despite their flaws, I confess that the game conquered me with its original and constant action on track. Verdict: Despite their flaws, former Evolution Studios did a good job of creating an original product that is packed with action.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life10
Apr 22, 2018
More like 9.5 than 10. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is the last game in the Yakuza series, but not the last in terms of quality; far from it. My knowledge of this series already comes from Yakuza 4, which came out in PS Plus in February 2015 and from there I was completely addicted and aware of the upcoming Yakuza that were to come at that time, namely Yakuza 5, Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami. As in previous games, Yakuza 6 is an action-adventure game that mixes brawler style combat with RPG elements. And again we have the protagonist, the 4th Chairman, that is, Kazuma Kiryu. When I returned to Kamurocho, I soon noticed that it was visually amazing and the same goes for the city Onomichi, who is also present in the game. Now we will not have loadings of 1 second, each time we enter or leave a restaurant for example. Whenever we come into conflict with some ruffians on the streets, the city itself "becomes a battle arena" (and still we can escape successfully), unlike the previous ones where we were limited to a small place. Yes, we can also take and fight the ruffians in places like Poppos or on Smile Burger. The spectacle of all this is to see smashed glasses, objects flying and as result, the employee expels us and the site is temporarily closed for repairs. It's these little details that make me delight in this Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. But you may be wondering, what has really changed in the gameplay over Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami? A lot of things. The Brawler and Rush styles were eliminated, with only Beast (when we entered Extreme Heat Mode) and Dragon remaining and still have their differences. In Beast we don't have those slow movements anymore and in Dragon, the moveset is different from the previous Yakuzas. Each time we win a battle or eat something, we are rewarded with experience points for 5 abilities: Strength, Agility, Spirit, Technique and Charm, which can be used to increase Kiryu's stats (Health, Attack, Defense, Evasion, Heat Gauge) and to buy Battle Skills, Heat Actions and other skills. What I really have to say about the gameplay of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is that I feel the character's moves and the blows are smooth, frantic, and full of strength. It is true that at the beginning we are taking a lot of kicks when we are facing many ruffians, triads or yakuzas, but it is because we are limited to a one quickstep (there are double and triple) and the fact that we don't have the quickstep cancel. It's always rewarding to see our enemies taking with a Heat Action, some of theme are hilarious. An example of this is the Essence of Electromagnetic Torture, which consists to shoot the enemy at the microwave and asking the employee to "warm" the head of our enemy. Another example, the Essence of Knock Out Punch, allows us to see (through a 1 second Slow Motion) our enemy spitting blood whenever we punch him in the chin. In comparison to the previous ones, we don't have some old Heat Actions, but we have many new ones. In this Yakuza 6: The Song of Life we have something new called Clan Creator. Let's say it's a kind of Fighting Manager, in which we have a hierarchy (Chairman> Captain> Lieutenant> Soldier) to organize, take them to the missions and fight against other clans. Correct, if we want a soldier for our clan, sometimes we will have to search in the streets of Onomichi and defeat this person in a fight. They all have different moves, weapons, punches and some characters have special moves. And yes, we can also take our team to the online battles. As always, this Yakuza 6 also features the usual Yoshida Batting Center, Hostess Clubs, Substories and Mahjong, but new things have also been added, such as hunting fish, octopuses and sharks in the waters of Onomichi, a site called RIZAP Kamurocho to exercise our muscles and improve our character's physique, and we even have to rescue lost cats, which we then send to the Nyan Nyan Café. In addition, there are also Vending Machines, which help to temporarily increase our stats and the missions or the help requests to rescue someone who is having trouble with ruffians, for example. And, of course, the Sega Club is also present in this Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, and we have games like Virtual Fighter 5: Final Showdown and even classics such as Out Run, Puyo Puyo, Super Hang-On, Fantasy Zone and Space Harrier. Despite all of this, i miss the mini-games like Bowling, Pool, gambling and fights in the Purgatory Coliseum. Fights against bosses are challenging, with a phenomenal soundtrack and feature breathtaking scenes. SEGA has done a almost perfect work by keeping the style that made this series unique, but at the same time make some changes so that the game and series stay fresh. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is not only one of the best entries in the series, but also one of the best experience of 2018 so far.

MLB The Show 1810
Mar 27, 2018
MLB The Show 18 - 9.5/10 It is true that baseball isn't a very popular sport in Europe, i'm not a big fan either. But even so, I have a baseball cap from the famous American baseball team, the New York Yankees. But going to what matters, will this MLB The Show 18 be higher than last year's version, which already had good reviews? From what I have seen and experienced, my answer is this: no doubt. I liked the attitude of San Diego that dares to sting us with an introduction full of good moments and shows the reason of the North Americans to adore this sport. I will start talking about the news of this MLB The Show 18 in relation to the previous one. Nothing more than joining the useful to enjoyable. We have more options on player customization on Road to the Show, whether the real player or not, we have new camera angles, we have more player emotions and more fan reactions. The Road to the Show, in addition to the improvements in customization and now being more Role Playing Game, also received another addition. When we are going to create a new player, we have to choose an archetype, each with its limitations and benefits. The use of the in-game currency to improve the attributes of our character has been removed from this game. Now, to improve our character in this 2018 version, it's based on the success we're doing on the field and during training. Diamond Dynasty also had improvements. We now have a flexible program system in which we must choose the missions to play and in an attempt to obtain legendary cards and immortal legendary cards. Yes, you are correct, this game has more legendary cards than the previous one. The online has also been improved, although it still has a bit of lag, but it still doesn't compare to the 2017 version and I admit I had a good time in multiplayer. Unfortunately the online Franchise mode has been removed, but don't worry, the offline version is present in this MLB The Show 18. Now reaching the ball with the baseball bat is easier and the physics of the ball are better. The animations of the audience and the players have also been given extra attention and the stadiums are excellent. The truth is that the game is difficult for those who understand half or less than that, the rules of baseball. Retro Mode and Home Run Derby are also present. Home Run Derby is a tournament of, well, Home Runs and retro mode is basically meant to delight those who love to see and experience nostalgia for baseball games of yesteryear. The soundtrack is also on point; bands like Daft Punk or Imagine Dragons are present in this game. Anyway, just good things in this MLB The Show 18. In short, the SIE San Diego Studio in what concerns baseball games, really knows pruning. Inevitably this MLB The Show 18 is a recommended product for baseball fans. I even started watching baseball a bit differently after playing this title.

World of Warriors7
Mar 22, 2018
More like 6.5/10 than 7/10. World of Warriors - 6.5/10 Tested version: Playstation 4 Pro World of Warriors came out for Android and iOS in November 2014 and now comes to the Playstation 4 this spring. This game in terms of gender has a bit of these two things: action and fighting. In Single-player battles against common enemies and against bosses, they are always 1 vs 1 and as you may know, we have to defeat the enemies in two rounds. In Single-Player, the player will have to form a team of two before facing our opponents. As good points for the game, we have so many characters, all of them with different punches and abilities from each other to unlock, including Vikings, Samurais, Ninjas and Zulus. We also have lots of talismans to create and use and some potions to build and give them usefulness. As long as we win the battles, we are rewarded XP for the characters and materials. These same materials can be used to create talismans and potions. All warriors have a different kind of nature from each other and there are four types of nature (which can be used through the D-pad down, when we have the three blue spheres) in the game: Earth, Wind, Water and Fire. And the logic is more or less like the Stone, Paper, Scissors. Earth type deals more damage to the Wind type and so on. We have eight arenas filled with traps and defense mechanisms to make things more interesting, which can be used in our favor or in favor of our adversary. During the Story Mode (tournament), the player will have to succeed in the challenges if he wants to unlock other challenges and arenas for the Single-Player. But not only 1 vs 1 challenges, we have events where we have to defeat the big bosses ahead of time, make sequences, survive on some waves, puzzles, etc. Most of Single-player arenas have seven events to do. But unfortunately the game suffers from a disease called excessive repetitiveness, enough to make me sick of this World of Warriors, which forces me to say this phrase "again the same thing?". And this is it: Battle 1 vs 1> Big Boss (or any other challenge)> Battle 1 vs 1> Big Boss and so on, although they have a slightly different difficulty. If we join the fact that we have to defeat one enemy at a time in each round... even worse. The World of Warriors' AI is inconsistent during battles, and both can be good (escape from a hit of mine effectively), or bad (fall back into the abyss). I also feel that the hitbox of characters and of small enemies isn't right. Big bosses could also have been more difficult and challenging. Speaking about multiplayer (online), there are always 2 vs. 2 matches and the World of Warriors online reminds me of the Rocket League online, a lot because of the divisions and terms that we have to play ten games (depending on the results) to find out if we are going to be promoted to the next division or not. The graphics have a funny concept, although they are nothing special. The gameplay is just reasonable, this despite the strange hitboxes and the soundtrack complies. The conclusion I draw is this: World of Warriors is not a bad game, it even entertains for some time but no more than that. And all due to over-repetitiveness. It is well noted that its foundation was originally intended for mobile devices. Veredict: World of Warriors isn't a bad game, but the over-repetitiveness, the hitbox somewhat uncertain, big bosses too easy... was enough to give 6.5 to this World of Warriors.

Metal Gear Survive6
Mar 4, 2018
More like 6.5/10 than 6/10. Since the time that Hideo Kojima was kicked out after Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Konami has been walking under the flames and receiving booed from the fans and not fans of the producer, in all shapes and forms. Metal Gear Survive is a spin-off, so it isn't tied to the Metal Gear Solid stories and the genre is different. But don't worry, fortunately the DNA (Stealth) of the series hasn't been removed. As the name of the game suggests, is survival game. In this Metal Gear Survive, the player during the single-player mode will have to explore the map to kill the infected, open containers, hunt animals to feed our avatar's hunger, drink clean or dirty water to quench thirst, activate and use the wormholes to create shortcuts, to make excavations to complete some purpose of the story mode or to obtain some prize, to look for materials to make and to repair certain objects, in fact ... a lot of things to do. This Metal Gear Survive uses the same graphic engine as Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, that is, uses the Fox Engine engine and the gameplay of these titles remains in this Metal Gear Survive, albeit a bit limited by the simple fact of being a survival game. But both are two good points. Too bad that this Metal Gear Survive has copied the scenarios of The Phantom Pain; it was noted that Konami was uninspired in this chapter. Unfortunately it isn't the only problem in this game, because Konami shoots the microtransactions in our face in a brazen way. Yes, it is true that microtransactions are simply not new today, without forgetting that unfortunately this game requires to be always online. To create a new profile, we must have 1000 SV (10£) or delete the old profile. Other paid elements also influence the gaming experience, such as survival boxes that last a certain time, be it a day, a week, etc. At the equipment level, the arsenal is vast and we have at our disposal several weapons, including Tacos, Axes, Shovels, Hammers, Guns, Bows, Shotguns, Machine Guns, Molotovs, Grenades, Claymores, Mortars, etc. And we also have very important objects like Distraction, Signal Flag for when we are lost in the poisonous fog (in which we have to be attentive to our air tank), Lanterns, healing sprays, Iron or wooden fences, Wooden barricades with or without the barbed wire, among other things. There are several types of infected: the normal infected, the Bombers, who easily destroy our defenses and if we kill them without stab them in the back, they will explode like... bombs, we have a type of infected that runs and jumps very fast and we also have infected armed to the teeth that use weapons (weapons that are created in their hands), like machine guns and grenade launchers. They also use shields to reduce damage and are invulnerable when we try to stab them in the back. Of course, we can also face a lot of bosses that are not related to the history missions, and before they try to fight these bosses, it's a good idea to have an excellent arsenal of weapons and equipment, because it will be hell, in a good way. When we kill the infected, we can collect an energy called Kuban, which can be used to acquire skill points, which can be used to learn special abilities. But Kuban is not just for this, it also serves to slightly increase our oxygen, but in contrast, the durability of our air tank will go down slightly each time we buy it. The cooperative online mode has been reduced to a simple way of defending the tower, which, along with three more players, we have to build barricades to defend the goal, kill the infected and survive three waves of enemies. It's certainly not part of the campaign, but this mode uses the features we collect in the Single-player. Unfortunately the story of Metal Gear Survive is something strange and confusing, and the actors who give voice to the characters are nothing more than a simple "ok". The missions are somewhat repetitive; collect databases, save people, defend the excavation towers or the wormholes machines. But not everything is negative in this Metal Gear Survive, the game can even be a survival title due to various elements incorporated into the gameplay, and the cooperative mode can even be fun. If you are looking for a game with a strong survival component that keeps you entertained for a while, Metal Gear Survive is for you. However, there are too many flaws in this game, and Konami's greed stained this title and the Metal Gear series as a whole.

Dynasty Warriors 96
Feb 22, 2018
More like 6.5/10 than 6. Although the Dynasty Warriors series is not as well known as the Final Fantasy series, it is already turning 21. But will Omega Force be able to take this Dynasty Warriors 9 to success and make them forget the previous titles? I would say no and I'll explain why. Dynasty Warriors 9 is a Hack 'n' Slash game (Musou) in the third person view with small Stealth elements and the overall goal of the game is to enter enemy bases, knock down a huge amount of opponents and knock down the enemy boss. For the first time in the series Dynasty Warriors, we have an open world format game, and that is the map of China. The user can walk freely, on horseback or by canoe, as well as buy, sell and craft certain things. The Day-Night cycle and rain are also present in this game. As in previous Dynasty Warriors, the story of Dynasty Warriors 9 follows the Chinese novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". This same story is told through the 94 playable characters in the game who come from the four biggest clans: Wei, Wu, Shu and Jin, so it will take some time to realize what really goes on during the game. Initially we can only choose one of the three officers from the Wei, Wu and Shu clans: Cao Cao (Wei), Sun Jian (Wu) and Liu Bei (Shu). The story can be enjoyable because of the interweaving of the characters. Well, as I mentioned earlier, most main missions and side missions aim to break into enemy bases, knock down huge numbers of enemies and defeat the enemy boss. Sometimes we have to invade certain territories before we go to the final territory, so that our comrades can go to the front line, to demoralize the enemies, etc. The action is frantic and it's funny to feel like we're a god because we're defeating over a thousand soldiers. However, the game loses immense quality because we are repeating the same type of mission, now imagine that with 94 characters. Yes, we can perfectly turn the game without crafting, with the exception of healing items. I sense that this Dynasty Warriors 9 could have perfectly an online co-operative mode in the style of the Far Cry series. Dynasty Warriors 9 has a good range of weapons from blades, spears, bows, among others, which slightly alleviates repetitive missions and the fact that the fighting is little deep due to the lack of slight variation. The map is fantastically vast, with lots of gorgeous natural sites to explore and places to conquer and visit. Graphically speaking, the characters are well designed and treated, despite the game having a few houses with few details and still have some graphic issues in most places even after the 1.03 update. The soundtrack, the voices of the actors (Chinese) and the sound effects perfectly fit the Chinese environment of the game. Also note that the player can hunt animals and fish, which can later be used in the Teahouse to temporarily increase our attack, defense and other statistics. When upgrading points, which can be earned through unusual enemies, the player can use them for Health Bar, Musou (special technique), Stamina, Attack, Defense, Power, Toughness, Speed and Bow Skill. It is also possible to make Reforge the weapons either in the Trigger Attack (Launch, Stun and Knock-Down) or Reactive Attack (Counter, Guard Break and Assault), which can be embedded with Gems obtained, such as Colt Gem that temporarily gives + 1% damage when standing on the horse and gives 3 more Attack Speed. Overall, Dynasty Warriors 9 is not a bad game, but was hampered by the enormous repeatability of the missions and technical errors. Maybe, who knows, if in the next Dynasty Warriors, the Omega Force will do better the homework, but it will be very difficult to believe. Verdict: If you have Chinese patience and if you don't care about the mistakes, Dynasty Warriors 9 can be a good game.

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]9
Feb 9, 2018
Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] is a 2D fighting game developed by French Bread, author of Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax and Melty Blood, in partnership with Arc System Works, a studio that has a huge experience in fighting games such as the original Guilty Gear series and BlazBlue, as well as Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and most recently Dragon Ball FighterZ. This game is a update of the game Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late. As it is an updated version, the differences from the previous version are the existence of four new characters - Enkido, Mika, Phonon and Wagner - and the existence of a story mode that the previous didn't have. Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late [st] features Arcade, Versus, Score Attack, Time Attack, Survival, Training, Tutorial, Network, Mission and Chronicles game modes, the latter being the story mode of the game. Each character has its own chronicle and is explained through dialogues in the style of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. However, this Under Night suffers from the same defect as Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, namely the exaggeratedly long dialogues. As we complete all the chapters of a character, we unlock other characters' chronicles and so on. The graphical style is very similar to the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, in other words, it does not use the same 2.5D technique of Guilty Gear Revelator and Dragon Ball FighterZ, but they are still very good. The sprites are of great quality, the movements and animations of the characters were treated to the smallest detail, and seeing an Infinite Worth EXS of any character is a real treat for our eyes. You already know what the main objective of fighting games is, to prevent our energy bar from reaching zero and to remove the entire life bar from our opponent. The game uses a four-button system, A-Light attacks, B-Medium attacks, C-Strong attacks, and D-Universal mechanic (x). The latter has the function of reloading GrD gauge (middle bar), among other things. But we can also perform hits like Grab (A + D), extra attack (B + C) or a very powerful blow, called Infinite Worth EXS (A + B + C + D), which can only be performed if the character has the EXS bar at 100% and the life bar at 30%. This EXS bar if it is 100% or higher, can also be used for a sort of "Awakening" (Veil off), which makes the attacks slightly more powerful. GrD gauge is good for a lot of things, for example, it can be used to fill the EXS bar. There is a huge variety of combos, and some of them are extremely complicated to play, which can to put away some novice players. The Combat (1 vs 1) is fluid and balanced, and even if we stay against the wall, if the user repeats the same blow twice, the third blow will no longer work. Yes, some characters execute projectiles, but fortunately there is a way to avoid those things. In total there are 20 characters, including the four new ones in this version, and they all have different moves and punches from each other and specific special attacks. For each bout won we get points, which can be used to acquire cards, icons, titles and illustrations and among many other things. As for the soundtrack, well... I got a tear in the corner of my eye that's so great it is. Overall, Arc System Works and French Bread did a very good job, and this title is recommended to all fans of Guilty Gear, BlazBlue and other Arc System Works jobs.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT7
Feb 8, 2018
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT was developed by Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo, in partnership with Square Enix, and is a 3D fighting game with RPG elements. This game, in addition to following the games Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy of PSP, also aims to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Final Fantasy series. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT matches are always 3 vs 3 and the overall goal of the game is to shoot down the members of our opposing team. And to do this successfully, we have to steal our enemy's bravery points and use them to our advantage with HP attack. We also have another mode beyond Standard Match, which is called Core Battle, in which we have as mission to destroy the crystal of the opposing team and prevent our crystal from being destroyed. At first sight, the gameplay here reminded me of J-Stars Victory Vs + but more fluid, chaotic and frantic. However, sometimes targeting is a dumb cockroach, especially in Core battles when I try to target one of the Crystals. During combat, the player can walk and attack freely around the arena, fly temporarily, and use unique abilities, as well as use the most varied EX Skills, from HP Regen to Poisonga and among others. And of course, the user can make summons (which altogether are 7), with different Summoning and Post-Summoning effects from each other and the Summons attacks take away the opponent's bravery points. An example of this is Alexander, who has as Pre-Summoning Providence (increases max HP) and has Post-Summoning the Divine Bulwark (increases max HP and defense). These summons can be obtained in chests for example. And in order to summon these monsters, we need to fill the summon meter and then hold down the command pad. It's always fun to have these monsters in battle as long as they aren't on the opposing side. We have 14 arenas and 28 base characters, including well-known faces from the Final Fantasy franchise such as Zidane Tribal, Lighting and Sephiroth. The warriors are divided into four distinct classes: Vanguard, which have powerful bravery attacks that cover a wide area, but are slow and have limited mobility, Assassin, are fast and very mobile but their bravery attacks are weak, Marksman, bad on close combat, but they are good when used for Combat from Far and Specialist, who have unique abilities that differ from other classes. In offline mode, we have 3 modes available, namely the Sparring match, Gautlet mode and Story mode. In the case of Gautlet Mode, is some kind of Survival mode (up to 6 battles). And in this same way, the player can choose Basic (you can choose your companions, as well as the type of match, Standard match or Core battle), Story trials or Summon Trial, that in relation to the latter two that can only be unlocked in story mode. Negative point for the Story trials of Gautlet Mode, i can't understand why they are limited to the standard matches. Speaking in story mode, this is made up of a kind of tree with several events, cutscenes, normal battles and fights against bosses. And to progress in story mode, we need Memorials, which can be obtained for example in one of the Gautlet modes. The fights against bosses require special attention. It's good to have the right class and have the right EX Skills, and watch out for their attacks, because these opponents do a lot of work, which in my opinion is good. After finishing the story of the game isn't special and could have been much better. Of course, we also have Online modes, from Ranked Ranked (Solo or Party) and Custom Match. But again, like the Story Trials of Gautlet mode, Ranked matches are limited to Standard matches. Classification tables? Nowhere. And it might not be a bad idea to put a cooperative online mode against the bosses of the game. And as much as in online or offline, the combats are always 3 vs 3, meaning there is no 2 vs 2 or 1 vs 1, which doesn't make much sense. It is true that the game was thought of 3 vs 3, but there could be an option in normal matches. But not all is bad in the game, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT has a great list of items (Appearances, Weapons, Chat Messages, Avatars and Battle Music Tracks) that can be buyed in the Shop or get them through the treasures. Visually, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a very appealing title, presented cutscenes and in-game graphics well treated. And the soundtrack of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT deserves to be highlighted as it is undoubtedly excellent. Overall, the work of Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo in this Dissidia Final Fantasy NT was not bad, but they could have done better, especially in story mode and in presenting some more combat options.

LocoRoco 29
Dec 13, 2017
“pacchonbo- moi-inoinoi chakaretapatton pankorakettonto-n…”. Ok, I tried to pass a nit of the lyrics of LocoRoco 2 Remastered "Yellow Version" song, so wonderful and original that it is, and that I've tried to sing a few more times whenever I remember the LocoRoco series. Right, it is another PSP remaster to be analyzed. Despite being defeated in the first game, the Moja Corps didn't give up and return with a new plan to conquer the world; they plan to implement (in several places) a terrible sound that **** the energy of life. For those who don't know the LocoRoco series, it is a platform game, in which we control one (which in total has 7 characters, including the new character "Viole") yellow gelatin bubble called "Kolche". Instead of moving the character with the traditional D-Pad or analog, we control the LocoRoco through balancing. In other words, balance the planet with the L1 and R1 buttons, and if we want to make the character jump, we have to press the L1 and R1 buttons simultaneously. Fortunately in this LocoRoco 2 Remastered they removed the balance in the sensor of the command, something that in the first one disturbed more than it helped. We can also divide, as long as we have at least two units, our LocoRoco in several LocoRocos by repeatedly pressing the "O" button, and to return to being one, keep the "O" button pressed. The main objective of the game is to eat the berries, to win a LocoRoco, to pick up Pickories, to buy objects and divisions for the Mui Mui House, defeat the Mojo and other enemies until reaching the goal of the level. Now, let's talk about the small additions of LocoRoco 2 Remastered in relation to the first. The LocoRocos can now be under water, jump from branch to branch with the L1 and R1, get into certain objects to destroy obstacles and unlock new platforms, etc. But there has also been a small change, now in areas where they require 5, 10 or 15 LocoRoco, we have a sort of quick time event or something of the genre with musical notes. If we succeed, even if you fail some musical note, we win one or two prizes. LocoRoco 2 Remastered also has a good amount of mini-games, since the Loco Race (we have to choose a LocoRoco and who controls our character is the AI), Chuppa Chuppa (as in the previous game, a living being that can throw the LocoRoco into the air and reach certain obstacles), the Loco Rider (in which we have to push our opponent LocoRoco to the black spikes to remove him the LocoRocos), we also have back the mini-game in which we have to rebuild and expand the Mui Mui House, etc. We have several levels in several places, for example, tropical levels, levels in the ice, levels in a factory, levels in the forest, etc. The soundtrack, which despite the majority being the same as LocoRoco Remastered songs, remains spectacular. Visually, despite the cutscenes something dated, are good and then if 4K is even better. The only thing I really complain about is the fact that little has changed over the original LocoRoco. It could have more different areas, but I still can't let go of the game because is so addictive. Who likes games with a fertile imagination in ideas like LittleBigPlanet, Tearaway Unfolded, Sound Shapes, The Unfinished Swan and Puppeteer, I strongly recommend this LocoRoco 2 Remastered. I just don't recommend this game to people with seasickness problems. Now, someone who obliges, whether by message or other thing, Sony to launch the LocoRoco 3.

Sonic Forces6

6.5/10 to the game. Since the Sonic Generations that the 3D Sonic has walked the streets of bitterness. Sonic Lost World and the Sonic Boom were considered weak or mediocre, with the last only reaching about half a million units worldwide and as such was Sonic's worst game in terms of sales. And it's with my pity, as great Sonic Fan (and Shadow Fan already) that I am, it seems that this Sonic Forces, who had so much potential, will not go beyond of mediocre. Doctor Eggman attacks again and Sonic is called once again to try to save the world. Our egg-shaped villain recruits Metal Sonic, Chaos, Zavok, and a new villain named Infinite. With this team, Sonic was easily defeated, and with this, the world of the blue hedgehog was plunged into chaos. After six months, Knuckles along with the other friends of Sonic, form a small resistance and recruit a new soldier, with surname "Rookie" (Avatar). The Rookie aka Avatar, is a kind of "custom hero." By this, I mean we can create our own hero in the game. We can edit the species (Cat, Dog, Hedgehog, Bear, etc.) of the character, we can edit the color of the eyes and the skin, just as we can by objects, clothes and other types of accessories in the Avatar. It is also possible to dictate the type of Wispon. Wispon are weapons, and I say already there are a huge amount of them, since the Burst is a kind of flamethrower that can also be used as propulsion in the air; Lightning - can be used as an electric whip or can be used to pass through a trail of rings or enemies, among others. I really liked this idea of Custom Hero, which although not original, served for Sega to avoid criticism if they put another new character in the universe of the blue hedgehog. In Sonic Forces we play with three characters: Modern Sonic, Classic Sonic and Avatar. Modern Sonic for action and rampant speeds, Classic Sonic for the classic levels of the Mega Drive era, and Avatar to use weapons to overcome obstacles and destroy enemies. At some point, we use Avatar and Modern Sonic at the same time. The controls of the game aren't really bad, but for example, I didn't like the air control of the Avatar and Modern Sonic. I died a few times because of bad air control in one of the bosses of Modern Sonic. I also didn't like the scripted events (loops) that require speed reduction and take away the sensation of it, and I did not like the fact that Classic Sonic is slow. It's not that it's ultra slow, but it's slow enough that we can not get past a few obstacles, which rarely happened in the Mega Drive classics. The player always has a lot to do, from completing quests to progressing in history and to getting accessories and clothes and between things for our Avatar. And if we get S rank on missions, whether it's main missions or extra missions, we get more stuff for our Custom Hero. Also we have SOS missions in which we have to complete the mission (always missions of the story mode) without losing a single life and with special requirements. In terms of stages, lack of originality by Sega. Death Egg still has an excuse, but the same can not be said of Green Hill and the Chemical Plant that have been in previous games like Sonic Generations and Sonic Mania. And even in the new ones, I feel that for example in the (Mystic Jungle) Casino Forest of Classic Sonic, it was badly used. I thought that video gameplay of the level that Sega published a few months ago was 50% or 75% of the level and after all it was ... 90% of the level. It could have been longer, since it also has a very good song. And speaking of music, in this field (Sega is king in here), although I didn't like 2 or 3 songs, in my opinion it turned out to be satisfactory. In visual terms, although isn't brilliant, they are satisfactory and the framerate is even better; 60 FPS (30 FPS in cutscenes) super stable. The story itself is reasonable, but with many holes lower than expected. They could and should have explored the origin of the villain Infinite (the origin is only explained in the Comics), which had great potential, not to mention that I didn't like one point in the way story that I will not reveal because it is a spoiler. Conclusion, so much enthusiasm I had in the game before he left and after finishing it, left me a little disappointed. The team that made good games like Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations should have done better homework. This Sonic Forces is not bad, it even has its positive aspects, but it could have been better.
