What OnRush needs is tighter controls and physics. While you can get some impressive smash-downs, they’re mostly random, instead of being the result of planning and skill. [Issue#231, p.66]

ONRUSH tries a number of new things with its team-based driving mechanics, and some aspects of this gamble pay off better than others. Its speed and mechanics are sound, but those looking for something a bit more traditional best approach with caution.

Arcade racing doesn't get more furious, explosive and brutal than this. You can annihilate a rival car by landing a huge jump right on top of its roof in this game and they'll also be looking to crush you against a concrete wall at high speed or knock your car off a cliff into a ravine. It's an original car game also, as the objective isn't to finish first, like in a typical racing game. Instead you have other objectives like scoring takedowns, scoring points, just staying alive or occupying target zones with your team. Fans of Burnout shouldn't miss this underrated gem.

I wish you would bring it back online because I loved playing it the off-line nurse nothing to do all you do is first to computer to wear online you versed other players and it was more fun and it gave more of a challenging so please please bring it back

Onrush is a racing game that strips away the commonly understood mechanics of the genre to deliver something that is both fresh and classic at the same time. And a vivacious multiplayer experience that rivals some of the big contemporary shooters of the day.

It's a great casual online experience that wants to be more than that — but doesn't actually offer enough to achieve it. The continuous updates may nudge the game closer to that goal, but recent layoffs at the studio don't instill hope that updates will continue at a consistent rate. If you're looking for a fun, bare-bones, online racing experience, Onrush may still be the perfect game for you. It still has a long way to go to fulfill its potential.

There’s a little bit of everything in Onrush, from racers to shooters, from destruction derbies to sports games. If you were expecting a sequel to MotorStorm, Onrush won’t be for you, but give it a chance and its clever blend of different genres can draw you into its unrelenting vehicular action.

Onrush is totally fun at first but after a few hours the enthusiasm fades away. The game lacks of in depth mechanics, something that is essential to keep players on the servers in a multiplayer-based experience.

Onrush is a chaotic arcade game that surprisingly comes together – even if there are question marks regarding its longevity. This brash vehicular experience draws inspiration from several different areas of the industry, but it reassembles them into something unusual and entertaining. A great online infrastructure means you can be in and out of the action in seconds, but the package could do with a little more meat on its bones to fully justify its price tag.

If you like nitro-boosted arcade racing action then this game is for you. The visuals looks awesome and runs at stable 60 fps on PS4 Pro. The gameplay makes a lot of fun. Codemaster did a really good job, I love their racing games, like Grid.

So, you can't skip scenes or recaps. It only has a few (8) vehicles and customizing them is purely cosmetic. I feel like I'm running the same 3 tracks with varying degrees of visibility.... Not sure how this game has scored as well as it has.
The handles is solid for a while then you start to notice the perfect AI awareness.
I think it's totally worth10,great at 15,ok at 20.
