I liked the movie. Its not a best movie of the year though. Sandler displayed more acting range than we have seen him before. The movie though is one big anxiety/panic attack trip. I mean you almost felt like the main character, Sandler deserved what he got at the end. Scheming. lying, cheating, a mon-stop ball of lets make a deal. I gave it an 8 rating. Better than quite a few I've seen during 2019. characters in real life played here usually get what they got comin..A horrible death. Jolly good Show.

A little slow here and there until it climaxed towards the ending. Old man Bridges seems to get better with time. Great acting. And the Black lady can Blow (sing!) I enjoyed this movie.

The real problem with a great factual based themed movie like this is. It won't get the good reviews it seserves Because in this right winged conservative Trump lead era, TRUTH is not respected. This people, is a very good movie which all of us White people should see.

I never read what the critics say. This is a very entertaining movie. I'm giving it an 8. A few of the jokes were on the corny side but venom is played rather well. Go see it!!!

Stereotypical revenge movie. Garner played her role well though. This is a perfect movie to watch at home via Redbox when you got abasolutely..Nothing. And I do mean Nothing..else to do. I've seen this theme in a thousand movies in my life..drowned out by gunfire. I've forgotten it already.

I'm giving it a 60 rating. Only because I luv Sci-Fi. This might be the worst installment in the series. And its about time to put it to rest If nobody can come up with better plots. Hell, God knows Hollywood has milked Predator to death! This one has to many smart-A.. Soldiers cursing and trying to make to many jokes. I should have given it a 5. But..I'm a **** for Sci_Fi. If you have not seen it yet, Wait for it on Redbox.

OK..I'm gonna keep it real here. I went to see this with my buddy last night. He loved it. I'm an Independent. He's a Republican. If you agree with this Golden Age of So called Consevatism we are going thru, This is your kind of movie. But I warn yas, it is biased and somewhat Bigoted. Full of **** fake? Truths. They should be giving out Free MAGA Hats and confederate tee-shirts with the admission price on this one. I simply cannot give this production to many stars. And I'm somewhat of a moderate. But you Trumpeteers? This movie is ****.

I'm sorry guys. But its time to put Jarassic park to **** good!! This movie is proof americans will go for and buy anything as long as its advertised. Simply put, What the next one gonna be? I'm sure Hollywood will serve up something to take your money. This series was over actually after the 2nd installment. This movie was dumb, senseless, **** ****'t let that stop you. SHAMELESS MONEYMAKING!

I enjoyed the movie. Lots of action here. Hell **** only a movie. Somebody here goes on about promoting better black images. Fine, I'm all for that. But like I **** A MOVIE. What part of this don't you understand? Movies are about enjoyment and entertainment. This movie was definitely entertaining.

I gave this movie 6 stars. I wanted to give it a 8 or 9 **** was way to short. If only the director had given us a few more scenes at the beginning of the creatures origins and how the emptiness of the cities happenned....This would have added meat to the story plus another 10 to 15 minutes. We needed just..a little more... All in all though, not bad.

I gave it a **** the special effects only! I guess anything goes in movies nowadays. Not only is the plot not plausable. But the acting is TV rating stuff only. This seems like a nice movie for HBO or TNT. Good thing I got a free ticket to see this.

This movie struggled to find filler content. It was ok but probably was a tad to short for a movie. I gave it a 6 and thats being liberal. If you are waiting to rent it rather than spend 7 to 10 dollars at a theatre..then **** smart!!

Movie was good with an interesting plot for the most part. I would have given it a much higher rating had it not been for the ending.

Goes to show you..Critics sometimes are just plain to..Over critical!! I enjoyed this movie. Was a little reluctant to go see it initially But found it to be quite entertaining. Not many dull moments and the villian was actually quite interesting.

Critics here gave this movie a 57 average? WOWZER! pretty darn critical I would say. I thought this movie was good. About a 7 and a half. So I gave it an 8. I actually went to college with a black geek like the one Denzel Plays here. Guy became a Pharmacist. He was smart and very nerdy. Shy but whitty. Had no street sense whatsoever. Denzel made the character Believable.

Tearjerker towards the end. Good acting. Yet had a few hokey and corny scenes mixed in. **** gotta like this one. I'm told many of these characters were researched thourouhly. These men got caught in a fatal situation they had trained for. Circumstances and unpredictable mother nature went against them and cost them their lives. Very sad. But what a..Shining tribute to some very fine brave men.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie and viewed it with keen interest. There were only 4 people at the moving showing when I went. Guess many don't like these themes. The trpidations and struggles some people had to go thru in this country just to walk down the sidewalk at **** amazes me still today. This was the NAACP at its best. Ferrying lawyers across the country to protect innocent accused black people. What this movie does not show is..A lot of these cases were lost due to outright Bigotry. But Justice did **** a few. Good acting all around.

Not a bad movie. The ending **** they could have, Spiced up the project much bettter. This is a low budget film. So they probably made quite a lot from it. Just wish the shark scenes could have been more.... Terrifying? Also would have been great to see the survivor tell her ex boyfriend..F You!! (smile)

I went with the wife to see **** said it was Ok. I just sat there trying to figure out..what this was suppose to be a metaphor of or for. It just tried to have to many hidden messages in its context and the loose ends were unbelievable. Making this as a horror cartoon would have been better. I mean who leaves there front door open, welcomes in people who they do not know, and lets them talk rude to them? The premise started all wrong then descends into utter chaos trying to create illusions of with violent messages. Where did the cops come from or disappear to? This Picture reminds me of a slow acid trip..back in the day. t just does not work!

Metacritic gave this movie a 70. I give it like a..78 or so..3 and a half stars. Very entertaining and better than the mini TV series..some departures. But that had to be done to get the..scary shock value!! Not bad at all. I just hope they amke ONE..just one final part 2. To many more would..devalue IT. give us a part 2..GRAND FINALE..even better than part **** be done. Don't drag it on for..money sake..Opps..that means? they probalby will.

Detroit puts you right there in the action during the heydays of the Detroits riots. Good cops, bad cops..Good black people, bad black **** all here. And this actually happenned in real life all the way down to the innocent verdicts of the white cops who killed innocent black people. Kinda sad though. Still..A jolly good Movie!

Not bad. Contrived and predictable though. I gave it a 7 based on the action and flow of the movie. Never a dull moment here. The screen fills up with humor and exposions all over the place. I can see why though many would give this movie a 5 or 6 rating. Samuel Jackson delivers his usual arrogant, deadpan and sometimes funny lines. Profanity is slung all over the place like peanut butter spread. If you like action, you will like this movie.

I loved the movie. Its a kinda realistic look at high medium and max penitentaries in america. **** says my brother who worked in one for 30 yrs. Not sure he would have gone to such a high level security prison for his crime though. Especially not having a record. Still, the action and reality of prison life was real especially in state run prisons. Jolly good show!!

Very good special effects, costumes and creatures. Beautiful scenery and filming. But how come the main characters were not developed. The humor **** and the lead characters had virtually no chemistry. It would seem if you go all out on developing such stunning effects for a movie, the plot would be just a tad better. I'm givin it a 5 and a half. If you had thrown in some free popcorn I could have called it a **** the most!

The movie was good. But I guess we are finally at the end of Mr. Ceasar's installments. Didn't quite like the Col. character killing himself though. He was portrayed as being way to tough to go out like that! 7 and a half to 8 stars. Jolly good show!

Frankenstein with a different twist. Starts out well and then.....Okokok..could have been much better with the plot. Still, it holds ones interest to a degree. You actually buy into the idea this initial plot is going somewhere big. And then you are let down. Not to bad. I give it 6 and a half stars.

This is a well done movie void of many of the, Hollywood added drama scenes which tend to give many true movies an unrealistic look into what actually occured in real life. Which is why I give this movie a solid 9 rating.

WOWZER!! This movie is proof critics hate for no reason at all. I thought this was a very good movie. Mathew M was convincing in his lead role and played it outstandingly. Which proves a point..a movie is great ****..enjoy it!

Simply put..A movie either holds your attention or it doesn't. This one does. I kinda liked the interracial thing..thinking it was going to another place. But this little sweetheart was serving only one master...a nicely deranged family. My wife and I ate the entire extra large bucket of popcorn too!!!

I see people here making comparisons to Alien. Its not even close. I enjoyed this movie because the creature actually outwits the humans!! A nice twist for us..Afred Hitchcock types. I like the way the director makes us feel such an innocent little wormly thing is **** thought the scientist handling the entity. But thats when the fun starts.....Would have loved to see what the creature did after he landed. But thats the sequel I suppose!

I took my little nephew to see this movie. I..fell to sleep watching it. He enjoyed the movie immensely. Sometimes Hollywood milks the hell out of a series. This one has no more milk..I hope?..Thank God! And **** as moviegoers follow blindlessly the mundane cool lines over and over again. I hope Hollywood spears this project dead for good. But they won't. Because **** like you keep coming back over and over again to see the same ole thing.

This is a great introspective delight narrated by Samuel Jackson. For you people who avoid blacks simply because you don't want to or do not how how to deal with them, this will give you tremendous insight into what it feels like to be black in america. Don't hate..Learn!! As one old classic line goes? Some people cannot/will not..handle the truth!! Please, Don't be one of them. Because..I Am Not The Negro YOU..Want Me To Be!!!!

Man..this has got to be one of the worst movies I have rented in quite some time folks. I kept watching..waiting... for something..What I don't know. I expect to see this movie in Walmart's 99 cents bin very soon.
