Splatoon is a lot of fun. The colours and graphics are great. The online multiplayer is very good and matches you with players of a similar level. The music is good and gives them game a different feel to other Nintendo games. This is worth getting and kids love to play this game.

Another Nintendo gem ****. The amount of characters to choose from and battle locations is brilliant. The battles are fun. The colours and level of detail is incredible and it looks beautiful on a HDTV. One of the must-have games on the Wii U.

This is a must-have gem ****. Nintendo made sure this was is almost perfect. The graphics are brilliantly clear and colourful. The scenery is magnificently detailed. The race tracks are very good and the racing is fun. The online multiplayer works really well and matches you up with similarly skilled players. The local multiplayer is great for family games.

Great graphics make this game a pleasure to play. It requires a little bit of strategy and thought but is not too difficult for kids. The boss battles are good and varied. It is really good fun and worth getting. A highly polished game and the time limits mean it does not drag on too long for each level.

Another very original game which can also be played cooperatively with 2 other players all playing different roles. You can play this with the kids and work together to complete the level. This games requires cooperation and problem solving and it is very enjoyable.

This game is heaps of fun. Going on the train ride is brilliant and exciting as you try to complete the level. You can focus too much on trying to collect all the bananas and puzzle pieces or just try to finish the level. It is a highly polished game, however, the final boss battle is extremely tough. Perhaps too hard.

This is a very original game with different control movements. If you leave it for a while, it can be hard to remember all the movements. The action is good, the battles are a challenge and it is a refreshing game because it is so different.

Trine 2 has great graphics, very imaginative challenges and is lots of fun. You can play as one of the three characters and interchange between them or occasionally have another player (or two) join you. Worth getting and great value for money. Lots of good levels and requires imagination to progress through the game.

Child of Light has beautiful graphics and some good challenges. I was disappointed with the repetitive nature of the combat and after persevering for a while got tired of the same shtick with each combat.

A really unique game with lots of humour. This is worth getting just for its originality and the fun you have burning stuff you just bought. Very clever use of combinations to achieve all of the outcomes is a great idea. You will really enjoy Little Inferno and it does become addictive.

The real test for this game is that the kids love to keep playing it. Mario Chase is loads of fun as is Luigi's Mansion. The games are good and the best part is that this will keep 5 kids amused for hours. This is a terrific party game and a must-have.

Simply the most fun I've had on the Wii U. I loved ZombiU. Just the idea of walking around in the dark with a cricket bat hitting zombies in the head was heaps of fun. This game is difficult, scary and at times funny. You never know where the zombies are going to come from. This has the best use of the gamepad of any game. It is a definite must-have. I played it through twice and it takes concentration.

Kung Fu Rabbit is okay to play a few times over. Some levels just get too difficult for the casual gamer. It is good value on the eShop and worth a few hours of fund. Graphics are good and gameplay is fine.

An excellent party game. Get a group of kids together and they can play this for hours. Lots of good challenging mini-games and lots of choice. This game gets lots of use when the children have their friends over.

It is a good fun way of exercising and getting you to move those muscles. The pedometer works well and offers good challenges to climb monuments and mountains and for walking long distances, e.g. the tour of Italy. Worth getting to get you more active.

This is enjoyable to play lots of familiar mini-games that keep getting slightly more difficult. It is a great trip down memory lane of the older Nintendo games and is a good challenge to try and beat a few levels every now and then. Great price on the eShop.

Great game and has its challenges for the player. Nice to fly around and try to shoot. This is really great value on the eShop (especially if you get it at a discount price).

Great for kids to play together as a multi-player. Lots of choice although it is hard to beat Bowser sometimes but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. Good party game, will keep the kids happy.

Good game, worth playing. Great selection of different teams. User interface with changing selections can be tricky to get used to. Does have a learning curve with getting better at the game but lots of fun.

Tanks is good fun as a multiplayer game with a bunch of people that just want to shoot at each other. Worth a laugh and is now free on the eShop. Worth a try and good fun, especially with younger children.
