Dead Island 2 is exactly what I wanted, a ridiculous B-zombie movie in game form. Very much similar to it's predecessor in terms of gameplay, a little bit of polish applied to everything. Weapons feel their weight on collision, viscerally tearing through zombies with Gorey detail. What I didn't expect was rock solid world design, beautiful set pieces that are truly worth exploring, the open world replaced with expertly crafted zones with no detail spared. Dead Island 2 is my definitive zombie game already, it ticks all the boxes, knows exactly what it is and delivers the B-movie zombie experience I've been waiting for since Dead Island 1.

A very polished Ubilike open world game with a harry potter finish, nothing you haven't seen before in terms of function. It's amazing to see Hogwarts realized on the nextgen, the people who did the world design are the True MVP's of Legacy.

Bio-Mutant is a game for people who actually like games; it isn't a pretentious political analysis ripe with virtue signalling, diversity quotas and mainstream media approved political opinions (Critic bait), it is simply a fun light hearted adventure set in a unique and beautifully crafted world inhabited by martial arts muppets. Traversal of Bio-Mutants open world is an absolute joy, character movement, abilities and mounts make what is normally a monotonous open world experience one of Bio-Mutants greatest assets, a feat few open world games can claim. The combat is simple to pick up, it's fluid and satisfying, although familiar in many ways clearly taking inspiration from multiple popular action games, Bio-mutant still maintains a uniqueness in it's execution. A large selection of weapons and abilities offer a variety of ways in which you can approach combat. Your arsenal consists of Melee and ranged weapons as well as offensive abilities (Psi and Bio), there are multiple types of melee and ranged weapons allowing for the creation of very unique and numerous playstyles. The extensive crafting system is a min-maxers dream allowing you to heavily focus your stats around your chosen playstyle, it's not revolutionary, however it is very well implemented, easy to use and also affects equipment appearance. If you long for a time when games were made to be fun and not to be some attempt at high "art" Bio-Mutant may very well be the game for you, I'm thoroughly enjoying my time with it and I'm sure you will too.

Kingdom's of Amular re-reckoning is completely unacceptable, the "improvements" that have been implemented could have been done by single person in under a week and they believe this warrants a full price release (69.95 Aus)?, disgusting. The complete lack of respect for the people who originally developed this game, the customers and their money is appalling, you should be ashamed of yourselves. The game is great though, if you never played it before i do suggest picking it up, as someone who already owns the game I feel disrespected and I can't give this shotty re-release a decent score in good conscience.

A captivating experience, I started the game up and didn't stop until i'd finished the first campaign, a great take on the table top genre. The game's RNG can be extremely punishing at times but proper preparation will be always be rewarded and failure serves only to better your next attempt. For the king really shines as a multiplayer game, couch co-op with 2 friends is clearly how it's meant to be played, if you host game nights or are just entertaining guests for a weekend for the king will certainly entertain.

The Outer worlds Starts strong with a familiar character creator, an interesting premise and better than expected combat, unfortunately my high expectations were swiftly eviscerated. The world design although pretty is uninteresting and repetitive, the voice acting is good but the dialogue is horrendous, the world building is all presented through text dumps on terminals found throughout the world, these text dumps only come in 2 flavours "Capitalism bad" and "Egregious violations of human rights" all of these text dumps are written about as well as a 3 year olds name on a pre-school painting. The thing I enjoyed most about the outer worlds is the length of the game, it was very short, so short I was able to complete the game in it's entirety within the 7 day full refund return period, this is a not a game worth $60 but it is a game worth playing when it becomes a little cheaper.

After rolling a 7 the message "His fangs are sharp. He likes your taste. Your party better move poste haste" appeared and my neighbours cat burst through the window clawing me viciously, I can't get back to the console to take my next turn as Mittens has me cornered in the bathroom, if you a reading this please join my game and roll either a 5 or 8 to free me.

Normally I'd bother to write a review that discusses a games features, strengths and weakness's but I'm not going to bother with this garbage fire of a racing simulator, it's so poorly optimised for a controller that it borderlines unplayable, it's graphically unimpressive, everything it attempts to do it does so poorly, I could never recommend this game to anyone. This game should be used to interrogate inmates in Guantanamo bay, they should be forced to play an F1 race repeatedly in rainy conditions, only being allowed to stop when they've divulged all information to the military, this is slightly more humane than water boarding and will definitely get the answers they seek much faster than conventional torture.

The game play, soundtrack and story are all good, Improvements have been made on all the predecessors features. This game's biggest flaw is the greed of the studio, no single player game should have micro-transactions, this has been repeated a lot in the comments section and I have to agree with it all, we have to take a stand against these practices especially when the game play it's self pushes the player through artificial difficulty spikes in an attempt to garner micro-transactions. That said the core game is still very good.

FF12 remaster is a great trip down nostalgia lane, although it's age definitely show's it does not take anything away from what is a fantastic jrpg. For people who haven't played it before it has a steeper learning curve than most if not all other FF games, but once mastered the combat is extremely satisfying and the inclusion of a secondary job allows for more refined character development and is a very welcome change to the formula. The soundtrack remains as memorable as ever with slight changes to the music and overall far better sound quality, the characters no longer sound as if they are speaking through a paper tube. I'm overjoyed that my favorite FF in the series got the HD treatment and improved what was already a great game.

Dragon age Inquisition has combined the combat of the previous 2 games, but it's been simplified and refined, to use it properly takes sometime and effort though. Graphically it's amazing, but nearly every new gen game is, it's simply the standard for games to look good with the current hardware. Dragon age inquisition is HUGE!, unfathomably massive, if it weren't for world map having literally everything marked you'd be lost 100% of the time, which isn't a bad thing. The only downside I've seen is the multiplayer, it feels tacked on as to simply have a multiplayer regardless of quality. I'll definitely be playing the single player campaign for months to come, so much to do and see, and nearly all of it's fun.

Although i feel it was a step back from final fantasy 12 (Due to gameplay mechanic changes), Final fantasy 13 still has the magic of the previous games in terms of atmosphere, story and character development. Although the gameplay has become slightly more repetitive with less opportunity for customization as some of the previous final fantasies, but is still solid in it's own right.

A great refresher before KH 3 arrives. KH 2.5 brings back what we love and a little more, the last ps3 game any new gen owner should have to buy, It brings the 2 best games of the KH franchise together and gives people who don't own the portable consoles a chance to play Birth by sleep. Definitely worth the $40.

Bought it for KH1 and got amazing bonus content that allowed to actually understand KH2. KH1 HD remake alone is enough to warrant this games $40 price tag, but the additions chain of memories and 358/2 Days make it an unmissable for any kingdom hearts fan.

My favorite of all the final fantasy games, truly a work of art, even today most new gen console games can't hold a candle to this in terms of story, character development, combat/Strategy and environment. If we get a HD remake I'll buy it in heart beat.

Easily one of the best games on the ps3 and Xbox 360. A living breathing open world of crime, street racing and martial arts, what more could you want? From the seamless combat to the fast pace racing, united front games knew exactly what they were doing, and pulled it all off amazingly. If your a fan of open world sandbox games this is a must buy!

A modern artistic take on the retro 2D side scroller. This beautifully crafted and intricately detailed game is a must have for any gamer, Offering Tons of ways to play, 6 classes and ample customization,Heaps of side quests, there is something for everyone to enjoy. As well as being one of the best looking games I've played in a long time, Dragons crown is also one of the best sounding, with unique music for each area. This is a game you have to get, you owe it to yourself as a gamer.

Arkhem origins is a great installment in the batman Videogame Franchise. Very similar to it's predecessors the familiarity of the city design and combat will have long time players thinking they are playing the same game, This doesn't mean the game is any less enjoyable, It just shows they've already got a good formula to work with and aren't willing to take any risks changing it. Like the previous games Arkhem origins looks and sounds beautiful, with superb voice acting and character depth. If you already own the previous games and love them, play them again and wait a little while for the price tag to come down on this one, Because Arkhem origins is just another great expansion on the previous games.

When you pick up ni no kuni for the first time you don't know what to expect, a childish pokemon remake?, a repetitive Jrpg?, Or a generation defining game with depth and beauty to spare? Well if you haven't already played it, it's the latter. I Loved this game, I wish i could give it a higher rating then 10 to set it apart from the other tens I've given. Prepare yourself to be immersed In ni no kuni's rich story and game play, as this game takes you to worlds you could never imagine. The length of this game is nothing to scoff at with the main story easily taken upward of 40 hours and with side quests bringing that upwards of 100. If you have patience and appreciate story and artistic design ni no kuni is a game that you'll regret to miss. And now only $10 Usd on the psn store you have no excuse to delay playing this wonderful game!

Grand Theft auto V has left me so mind blown that I can only describe it in singular non sequential words (Kinda) beginning with "Huge", the size of this game is like nothing else I've played on the ps3, With incredible detail to everything composing it's many environments. "Beautiful, not a single thing in this game is ugly, even things intended to be ugly, It's undeniable that this is one of the best looking games to come to console. "Insane" I've been playing for a day and I've flown planes between buildings, fought aliens with a minigun, gone on multiple drug trips and encountered some of the strangest game personality's in the history of the GTA series. GTA V is the best installment of The GTA series so far, and anyone not playing this game is missing out on one of the most beautiful, action packed and hilarious adventures they'll ever encounter!

I have not played the PC version Of diablo 3, which I've heard terrible things about. Diablo 3 on the ps3 on the other hand is great, Looks great, plays fantastically, anything wrong with the PC version has been fixed . The multiplayer shines. it's easy to get matches, and little lag is experienced, The online community from what I've seen is pretty good too. If you weren't loving diablo 3 on Pc, give it a second look for console.

The last of us has the most spectacular single player campaign on the ps3 console, no if, buts or maybes. The detail and Obvious effort put into the last of us raises the bar for competing console games, and my standards as a gamer. The last of us really show's what these 5 year old consoles are still capable of. I won't give much detail on the game itself, so no spoilers, I'll simply state that it's amazing, and worth your time. Multiplayer In the last of us is done very well, the only real down fall is the community it's self, partially due to the way kills work, people will constantly take your kills, hang behind you so you weaken the enemy and then pounce once you've left the rooms safer, this can be very frustrating at times, there are also only two modes, but they are very good modes. This is a game that cannot be missed, even if you rarely buy a game, let the last of us be that game!.

Short & Sweet would be my best way of describing darkness II, Although the game play was short it was good, The story was what shined though, lengthy dialogue but not cutscene heavy so your given a choice to just play a game and ignore the story.. The game play mechanics are good, although far from perfect, and not a single glitch was seen over 2 play throughs..

This is a co-op master piece, with so much replay value and DLC modes to keep you playing for months, the environments are Amazing for a 3 year old game and the detail put in to everything little things is very noticeable.. If your playing solo the AI player isn't a hindrance for possibly the first time in any game I've ever played and being able to customize their equip is very helpful.. my only real qualm with this game is the controls, slow movement and still fire and Melee will have you getting smashed by giant monsters all through out this game.. The gold edition is now $20 AUS, definitely worth getting.

dead island riptide is no true squeal, No Impressive Improvements (A little gorier), and a downgrade for the most part really noticeable in the voice acting and controls.. I considered the previous dead island a 10 out of 10 and riptide practically being the same game with in a different area I'm going to give it a 7 for re releasing the same game twice, even if it is still pretty good.. There are incredible amounts of weapons and ways to customize them, and leveling is incredibly easy, max level in 3 days if you commit a bit of time, and you start the game at lvl 15.. If you haven't owned the first one and are thinking of getting a dead island game, get the first one instead, it's a better then dead island 1.2 aka riptide..

Sonic & Sega All-stars racing is a wonderfully polished game, The levels are all stunningly detailed and unique to eachother, there are many many characters and modes to choose from With lots multiplayer value (majority Of my play time), The racing it's self is simple but good, It's a great game for younger children while being fun for adults too, I play this with my godchild when they are over and she loves it.. If you have kids around and Enjoy cart racing games this is definitely a game worth getting.

A massive improvement on darksiders 1, the original being A simple copy-paste of God of war, Darksiders 2 adds layers of depth by incorporating an Rpg style in place of a simple action hack'n'slash and it does this very well, although these RPG elements are very simple ones, more time should have been put into the free roam, character development and customization.. The combat/gameplay is fluent and enjoyable, it mainly consisted of puzzle solving though unfortunately.. Visually Darksiders 2 did everything Right, from the beautiful landscapes to deaths armor and weapons it all looks fantastic, nothing is out of place.. The game roughly lasts 20 hours, which is not something any RPG should boast about, But Darksiders 2 has a high replay value to compensate.. Over all it's a solid game, different enough to other action Hack'n'slash games, but the Rpg elements are not developed well enough, hopefully we'll see that development in darksiders 3.. If your a fan of GOW, Dantes inferno, and castlevania definitely look into darksiders 2, Short, fun and worth the money..

I loved the original dragons dogma apart from all the DLC, and with Dark Arisen you receive the original game, all the dlc and the amazing expansion all for $40.. Everything has been upgraded, graphics, sound, gameplay, it's one of the best value games out for Ps3 consoles.. Dark arisen is very similar in difficulty to dark souls, but with a (my opinion) more enjoyable combat system..

Just cause 2 pleases my inner child, so much to see and do, so Much to Destroy!, I've close to ignored the story (which I've heard isn't that great anyway) and just wandered around this massive beautiful game like some kind of renegade batman using my gadgets and weapons to reek havoc all over the islands beautiful scenery.. Nearly anyone can find something they enjoy about just cause 2, I challenge any gamer to play this and find nothing they enjoy (you won't).. It took me awhile to get into it, the controls were hard to pick up at first and I gave up, and just cause 2 sat waiting in the dark for a good 6 months before i gave it a second go, and discovered this game was a diamond in rough (by rough I mean all my crappy games sitting in the dark never to be played).. If you still haven't picked up just cause 2, or have it sitting away in the cupboard unplayed, buy it, or get it out and dust it off, you won't regret it..

Sacred 2 is a hack & slash dungeon crawler of the highest standard, The area's are huge and beautifully detailed while remaining easy to navigate, The online co-op/Pvp is great fun if you can find people and the detail in character customization is where Sacred 2 really excels.. Sacred 2 doesn't take it's self to seriously, Jokes are hidden all throughout the game, and the characters will spit hilarious one liners on occasion, Even the minor enemies are given a personality And dialogue and can be quite rude and funny at times. The beautiful and environment, character detail and the voice acting really bring this game to life, If your a fan of dungeon crawlers, hack & slash and terrible puns, pick up sacred 2 next time your looking for a new game to play..

The first play though Of Asura's wrath is completely engrossing, The story is brilliantly told and the game and cut scene's look amazing, I didn't want to turn this game off until I'd completely finished it and experienced The full story.. The game isn't to shabby either, easy control's, the character mechanics are fluent and well animated. and there is a large amount of enemies to keep you guessing.. Right now this game can be picked up for $20 (AUD) or less and is definitely worth your time, if your a fan of action anime's or action videogames this is one you should not miss!

Rage recently entered the $20 (AUD) bargain bin making this one of the best value game purchases available.. Rage is a great first person shooter, that takes elements from all over the place, it isn't quite sure what it wants to be, but does a pretty good job of being a jack of all trades game.. It looks good, it sounds good, and it plays fantastically, the only reason for a rating below 7 for this game would be people approaching it with 2 high expectations, this a great game, and worth at least a single run through, and for how cheap it is, you won't regret it..

I waited a little while before writing a review so I had a complete and clear understanding of the game (Pre-ordered Hitman absolution and was playing it only minutes after its official Australian release).. This is not a complete game as of yet, it's a little buggy and a few concepts need to be patched, and I have no doubt that they will be.. Other then that this is a fantastic game and a must buy for any stealth or action game loving player (Or compulsive perfectionists like myself).. It's everything you'd expect from a hitman game, No set path on how to play it, visually stunning, and brutally difficult on the highest setting.. The game play it's self is close to that of bloodmoney, although its been a little to simplified for my liking (I know they are just trying to reach a larger audience, causal's and what not), but it still has that gritty dark hitman feel.. The leaderboard system is what I have my biggest problem with, the competitive nature is all well and good, but On a global and national scale it just has no place, with youtube videos on how to do perfect purist runs with in one month of the release all top 1000 will have the exact same score and all the effort anyone puts in to legitimately get on the leaderboards will be for nothing, with all the cheaters and lazy gamers taking up every spot.. Luckily the contracts system will compensate for this, having close to an unlimited ways to set up contracts and to carry them out people will be forced to act uniquely.. Over all this game is close to exactly what all the diehard hitman fans wanted, it's an amazing game no doubt, but there is room for improvement, and with later patches this game hopefully will become the game we all wanted..

This is a fantastic game, I don't understand all the negativity towards it, simply because it's different to the first one, it's a great game in its own right, But I guess the people just wanted a shinier version of origins.. The combat system is close to the same with a little more depth in the actual combat.. Characters are likable, but forgettable, this is one part where I will compare the 2, the characters of origin were some of the greatest and most memorable RPG characters of all time, while these ones won't take long to forget.. The game is lengthy, the story is well written, and it's a lot of fun.. If your not a fan boy, Hurrdurr different to Origins, definitely pick this title up..

Fast, Brutal, Fun, Unique, Loud! This is a very different take on regular FPS games, your always thinking of you new and unique ways to kill your enemies and it's spectacular when pull off an awesome Kill/kill's, leaves you thinking to yourself "Goddamn I'm awesome!".. Great bosses, hilarious characters, This is a must have for all you FPS fans out there!

If your a marvel fan & and RPG fan this is a game for you, the character dialogue and 1 liners will have you nostalgic with the older comics, The combat is a lot of fun but a little repetitive at times.. A great game to play if you've got more then 2 people with you as it doesn't divide the screen, but it may cause some camera issues.. The variety of characters to play as will give you plenty to do, and the collectibles give this game somewhat of a replay value.. Definitely worth picking up if you see it for $30>(AUS)..

If there were ever a time to call a video game art this would be it.. This game is nothing short of a master piece, unique and interesting characters, fantastic dialogue and story, an unbelievable amount of things to do without out it ever feeling repetitive or bland.. Definitely worthy of the hype!

A great Fps game, it's exactly what you expected it to be , just another COD, and granted that's all it is.. Except a few more features, different maps etc.. The visuals are great, the sound track is great too, the sound is definitely a big, being able to hear where gun shots come from through surround sound or headphones really immerses you into the game.. Zombies is what really did it for me, buying a new DLC every month was a bit much, but there is so much fun to be had killing zombies online with strangers, yelling and arguing, beating your friends kill count 100x, being called a noob by a 10 year old, many hours of entertainment there..

I'm 12 hours in and still staring at the background scenery,everything about his game is visually and dynamically stunning, I love the strategic combat system, and animal taming.. This is a vast improvement on it's predecessor.. I can see myself platinum-ing this title and enjoying the experience.. Picked it up brand new for $30 (AUS), and Played nothing else since (I bought 6 games this month)..

So many GLITCHES!!, I would give this game a 10 if those lazy **** over at bethesda would have put out a patch to fix it.. Content wise this is a ground breaking game for consoles, and with so much you can expect some glitches and to some point accept it, but glitches that literally screw the entire game, that's to much, get your **** together bethesda!..

A massive game with lots of content, stunning visuals.. Okay now that I've gotten the good stuff out of the way, lets talk about the bad.. Crafting: developing alchemy, blacksmithing, enchanting, takes forever, and makes your character excessively overpowered even on master difficulty, maxing these out will waste many hours of you life with no real reward.. Quest that are the same **** repeatedly: I'll keep this short but sweet, walk here get that, bring it back, now do it again 45 times for the thieves guild.. Enter this cave with the same layout and enemy's as the last one, get this, kill that, come back, repeat for the whole game.. Frame rate: if your playing pre patch you'll notice occasional frame rate drops to 3 to 4 frames per second, unacceptable for a game that was in development for so long.. dialogue: I took an arrow to the knee x1000.. Curved Swords, they Had CURVED SWORDS!! x1500, prepare to hear the same **** over and over and over.. And yet I still put 300 hours into this game, besides all of it's horrible flaws it was sill a pretty solid game, not worth it's initial $89 (AUS) release price, I'd suggest getting it if it ever ends up in the $40 or less game bin.

You really must play all the games in order to get the full experience of this, it's not just a great game it feels like an epic movie trilogy, you wouldn't watch the last lord of the rings before you watched the first, and so it should be the same with this.. Combat is fun, graphics and visuals are stunning, characters are likable (most of them), and barely an repetition, put this game on your must list but make sure you get the other 2 firsts..

Wasn't a stand above the crowd great game, but it wasn't horrible either.. 1 play through is enough to get everything done, doesn't have any replay value at all.. the visuals are average, the combat is average, the story is..... average, it's just an all round average game.. Lot's of loot, but eventually you just feel liked your picking up trash, I didn't buy this game to take up a partime job as a janitor, (spoiler) and all the best gear can be bought right before the final boss, so no real point buying stuff in the game.. If you see this for real cheap, pick it up, you won't be disappointed, but you won't be astounded either, just a few hours of fun, something a little different and nothing more..

Another hack and slash, not a bad one at that, the cut scene's are great, but over all it's just another god of war.. But for $20 it isn't a bad buy.. My opinion of what dante is thinking: "I wish I was cratos" nuff said..

A master piece for its time, a great game for any RPG fan.. Beautiful,Brutal, fast paced, many different ways to play, I could sing this games praises all day.. Unfortunately with shutting down of the servers this game has lost a lot of what makes it fantastic, although it can all be found in dark souls now.. If you've played dark souls and enjoyed it, I'd highly recommend coming back to this for a solo play through or 2..

Great game, I enjoyed it much more then some of the other big RPG's, A different take on combat which is great fun, beautiful environment and graphics, sound's spectacular.. Lot's to do, although 100+ is promised, I completed the game 100% in 80 hours (all quests, Items, lore stones etc) Really worth more attention then it got, go get this game!..
