You people have got to learn this fact: Your favorite developers are no more. They are shells of what they use to be. They no longer value talent, skill, vision, and work ethic. They hire for the company picture. They promote for social credit. They care about virtue signaling. Not actual virtue. They manipulate and **** their customers. This game is just more proof of it. Play the old games. Play the true indie games. Stop giving these lazy, and I do mean **** lazy, people your money.

Another perfect example of why you can’t trust any of the games media. They are just extensions of the publishers public relations teams. The game is a copy&paste **** show. Solely designed around micro-transactions. With less actual features than years prior.

Add some pride flags and the stupid media eats it up. Hard to blame such pandering when it’s good for a few points to the score. Brilliant move by the developers. Taking advantage of pure ignorance.

I’m amazed people have yet to figure out why their beloved developers have fallen. This is what happens when you stop hiring, promoting, and rewarding based on merit. Skill, talent, work ethic have no place in such industries anymore. Arbitrary diversity, identity politics, and SJW activism have destroyed modern videos games. The result is Anthem.

Real money for single-use items. Micro-transactions in a Halo game. Disgusting. A huge black-eye on an otherwise stellar franchise. Microsoft is stinking up the joint and acting more anti-consumer than ever in this new generation.

So a great game. It does survivor horror better then any big budget title has done it over a decade. The atmosphere, overall tone, and sound design are fantastic! There is a demo available online that you can play right in your browser. Just google it. And you can purchase the DRM free from from the developer or you can opt for the just released STEAM version. I would choose the latter if you are reading this before the end of April since its currently on sale for about $7.

And just as expected, the Internet Trolls have descended upon Metacritic once again to hammer a Great Game with a bunch of Zeros. Of course, knowing damn well they never played the game. Probably don't even own the platform the game is available on. The game is absolutely Fantastic. Don't be fooled by trolls. Try it for yourself and if you do enjoy it, give it a proper score.

How many more franchises will Capcom ruin, I wonder. How long will Gamers continue to support such blatant disrespect for the game industry. This company has lost touch, just like many of their competitors. If you must play it, do as I did and rent it. Or better yet, buy it used. At least that way Capcom does not receive a dime for the **** they keep trying to sell consumers. The game had a dozen pieces of DLC land on the Marketplace three full days before the title released. That tells you where their head is, and what they truly care about. Hint: It's not the customer.

It's more Alan Wake! Definitely $15 well spent in my opinion. I am enjoying every second of the game. And there is indeed quite a bit of story in there for those willing to seek it out. You have that option. I spent an hour or more exploring before hitting the first check point. This is a very good sign that we will indeed see Alan Wake 2. That is what every Alan Wake fan wants. And with the tremendous success the PC release had during its first week on Steam it is a sure bet.

The rare game that truly does deserve a Zero. The fact that the developer are actually trying to make money off of this game is utterly appalling. Look, even members of the development team here on Metacritic reviewing the game can't even give it higher then a 7. They know a higher score would make their position ****. I imagine if these guys ever want to make another game they are gonna have to fund it themselves. WORST Game of the Year! Making that claim so early with 11 months to go should be a warning in and of itself.

If I wanted to watch a movie I would watch a movie. For some reason Telltale believes this is the only kind of gameplay (if you want to call it that) that can provide a Cinematic experience. I guess they never played Uncharted or the dozen other titles that does just that. Personally, I find it rather lazy and a lame excuse. They need to remember they are creating a video game. If they want to make mediocre movies they are in the wrong business.

Clearly UBIsoft has great affection for The Rayman franchise. It shows in every nook and cranny of the game's design. I know it's "cliche" but Rayman Origins is a love-letter to those who love platformers and animatin. Rayman is easily one of the best looking games this generation. With hand-drawn animation that is masterfully crafted. The game is packed with content, which is rare these days. Easy to pick up and play, but incredibly difficult to master. The mark of a truly great platform game. I hope people buy this game, if only to send a message to the industry that games such as this can still exist and do well. And I believe Beyond Good and Evil 2's fate is directly linked to this titles success. Buy it. Play it. Love it! Rayman Origins is easily one of the Best Platformers in years! Well done UBIsoft. Well done indeed.

It's better than it's predecessor in every way. And if you played the first you k ow that is no easy task. Quite simply, Arkham City is one of the best games this generation. And I'm far from an avid Batman fan. I never read the comics and only enjoyed two of the movies. Sandbox style is similar to Assissans Creed and Infamous. Both those games are great, but Arkham City has even more polish. Consider all that with an excellent story and top notch voice acting, you have one very special game.

I see metacritic has yet to do anything about the console fanboys bringing game scores down with zeros. No game deserves a zero. Quite pathetic. Uncharted 3 will be treated in the same fashion. Which is a shame. Gears 3 is a fantastic game! And offers the best multiplayer experience on any platform. The campaign is truly Epic, and has not one dull moment. It clocks in around 13hrs without filler. Couple that with COOP, Versus, Beast, and Horde 2.0 you have got yourself one Stellar package! Buy it! Buy it now!

Unique, creative, humorous, innovative, charming, and fun. All this of course means cynical reviewers won't like it for the most part. They need advertising dollars and exclusives to give it a good score. Gamers who enjoy playing games will love it.

Typical critics. Codemasters didn't take out and ads on their sites or magazines so reviewers didn't get their advertising dollars. They didn't give out exclusive coverage either. It's not a clone of MW so it's no good in their minds. They had zero incentive to give it a good score, so they were intentionally harsh on it. Bodycount is a fun game...period!

Every bit as good as Mass Effect and the original Deus Ex. A refined, highly polished game with a rich and involving narrative. There is so much story it could be hard to digest it all. But it's up to the individual in regards as to how invested one becomes in it. The developers went above and beyond. The game is clearly meant to be played through multiple times and each time could feel like a fresh experience. I'm already planning my next play-through. How about you?

Great game. A true unique and original experience. And experience that should supported by any True Gamer. Pay no attention to the delusional PC FanNerds who rated the game a Zero. They have not even played the Game! How Metacritic still allows users to rate games they clearly have yet to play is pathetic. Get the trial, open your mind, and try the game. Exceptional game! Want to play a game with a quality mature story and unique puzzle platforming? Catherine is your game! It's original, genuine, refreshing, and extremely challenging. And it should be appreciated as such. Gamers are always complaining that developers are pushing out the same games and there are no original and creative, fresh IPs. Catherine is a game you should buy not rent. If such titles are not supported with sales we will continue to get Call of Duty/God of War/Oblivion clones. Take a chance and utilize a little patience and Catherine will reward you. And to all those gamers who claim games are too easy these days...play Catherine. I dare you!

Mad props to the developers and publishers for being realistic rather than arrogant regarding their game. So many fail to admit their titles do not require a 60 dollar price tag and fail because of it. EDF sits nicely at $39 and I picked it up immediately. And what did I get out of it? Pure Gaming Goodness that is what I got! I challenge anyone to play this game with friends and not enjoy it. If you fail to enjoy the game for what it is...then you are just a cynical jerk most likely who snubs their geek nose at anything you deem not worthy. This game is a blast and anyone who considers themselves a Real Gamer will have a blast with EDF. I wish gamers would buy this game and send a message to the industry that if you price your games reasonably people will buy them.

Capcom has sunk to the lowest level possible by only offering one save file that can not be overwritten. You will not be able to start the campaign over and of course you will never be able to sell the game or trade it in for credit. Publishers are so jealous of the used game market they attempt to convince people it is bad for gaming. In reality it only benefits gaming and without it the industry would suffer. Publishers are blinded by jealously and fail to see this. Thousands of gamers rely on in-store credit and used games so they can by New games. This is how the entertainment economy is able to grow. As a life-long gamer I will never support such behavior. This is worse then Capcom withholding content from games only to charge later for it as DLC. This is a all new low. Capcom is on my Boycott list and any game they are affiliated with that interest me I will be renting it.

Double Fine delivers yet another exceptional gaming experience at an exceptional price. And once again making AAA devs/pubs look like greedy non-creative chumps. Trenched delivers on all fronts. Try the trial...then buy the game! It is after all a measly $15. XBLA and PSN are stacked with high quality games. Delivering as good an experience you can find in any $60 game. Most of the time they surpass those games with ease.

I'll be **** you enjoyed the original you will absolutely love Infamous 2. It is truly a fantastic gaming experience and should be recognized as such. Sure some of the side missions are stale but that is a trivial complaint. Infamous accomplished what it set out to **** make you feel powerful and it does it as good as any game on the market. Couple that with excellent gameplay, stellar acting, and a good story you end up with Pure Gaming Goodness. What are you still doing here? Play the game!

So trolling metacritic and giving games 0's and 1's is the thing no life nerds are into these days. Metacritic does not seem to mind people bashing games they never played as long as it results in hits. Hunted is a fantastic game and I'm quite certain people are not ignorant or dumb enough to believe the troll reviews. Buy it...rent it...just play it and you will be rewarded with quality entertainment.

What has it been? Over 7 freaking years! The loyal IL2 fan base has waited patiently and respectfully. We all had the utmost confidence in Oleg and team. This is what we get? This is a very sad day in flight sim land. If people like me (been a dedicated fan and loyal supporter of IL2 since 2001) are giving it bad reviews you know something went dramatically wrong. Close to a decade of dev time...I just cannot comprehend this. I am just rambling now because I am so utterly shocked. One comfort in this mess is most of us know Maddox and crew will work hard to address these issues. They have a stellar track record of doing so. Better then any other developer in the industry and that is fact. They have a long road ahead and have a tremendous amount of work to do though. I mean...I have always kept up with my gaming rig (mainly for this series) and the game was running at 1FPS...1 Frame per second!! I see Steam pushed its release till July now. I guess the reason is obvious. I just do not understand why Oleg and crew released the game in this state in other territories. I **** been this long and I am sure there was little pressure on them to push it out. Having said all that I will gladly buy this game again when Steam releases their copy. I want nothing to do with my current one. Sound odd I know but I want to support the combat flight sim market and especially the team that created the greatest flight sim of all time. I just want it to be playable. Hopefully in the **** review average will go up. So weird seeing a Maddox game with such a bad score.

A truly special experience. This game was clearly meant for a certain kind of gamer. An adult gamer and one that has a mature mind. Those who scoring this game low clearly lack the maturity to appreciate it for what it is...a work of art. If you go I to this game expecting GTA not only are you a fool you will be disappointed.

What had taken me so long to play this game? I could kick myself in the ass! I been watching a lot of video for Child of Eden so I thought I would give Rez HD a try since it looked interesting. I could not be happier with the game. So simple, yet so amazing and a true work of art. Few games have been able to evoke such emotion from me as Rez HD. I absolutely love it! Most games in this genre can be ridiculously hard but Rez HD manages to find the perfect balance between challenging and frustrating. Its so perfect that I find it hard to stop playing. I skipped the gym last night because I could not put it down and I already took my pre-workout supplement so I was up for hours playing it. If you have not played this game yet do yourself a favor and get the trial. If you are disappointed you have no soul!

For the price you can't beat Gatling Gears. If you are a fan of twin stick shooters that is. I have no issues with this game whatsoever. The action and pacing is excellent. There is a ton of content and it offers coop. The game is actually quite gorgeous. It's a feast for the senses. Try the trial and I bet you are not disappointed.

Game reviewers continue to reward Gameloft for outright theft. Where are your ethics as a so-called journalist? Do you have no morals? Sure the games are fun! That is why they ripped them off in the first place. So all I have to do is copy a game, put a new but similar title on it and I get paid and receive excellent reviews for my dishonesty? Good to know.

Looks like the publisher failed secure enough banner ads on many of the gaming websites. Brink is a blast and should be appreciated for what it is. Game reviewers cry all day about wanting a shooter to do something different and then cry when one actually does. Yet they continue to support and give high scores to the regurgitated Call of Duty series. Game reviewers are driven by advertising dollars and exclusive rights.

This game is just well to put it shortly, the best fighting game I have ever played. I mean it has a brilliant story mode an excellent way of having a reboot, the actual fighting is as fluid and gory as ever, the challenge tower is full of randomness and well challenge! The fatalitys are some of the most gory i've seen. Man this is definitely in my top 5 games ever!

One of the greatest playstation franchises has officially died, and socom 4 is the final nail in the coffin. The key features that made this franchise stand out amongst everything else, leave you asking WTF? The single player is no longer a tactical mission, it plays out like any other shooters SP. Where you walk into an area as quietly as possible, yet the enemy some how knows you are there. The cover sysem is a nice addition to the game, but again its nothing innovative since so many other shooters are using it as well. And as for the multiplayer, its a total nightmare. There will be times in classic mode as soon as the match starts, everyone spawns, than about 15-20 seconds later it allows you to respawn. And by the time you even leave your spawn, you are hit with a nade or gun fire. The camera view doesn't do this game any favors either, the over the shoulder view blocks out any peripheral vision that you have. And going around objects makes the camera zoom into the back of your characters head. Lack of weapon customization and character customization really hurt this game as well. All in all socom 4 is a mediocre game, that tries to imitate all the other shooters out there. Not worth my $60

So the nerd thing now is too give games you did not play low scores. **** they are ruining Gaming more and more everyday. They did it to Dragon Age 2, They tried to do it at Bulletstorm and others and now its Crysis 2's turn. Troll reviews is all they are and I would hope people have enough intelligence to ignore them. Excellent game. Ashame the CoD fanboys feel compelled to ruin its user rating though. Which is obvious by the 2 ratings. You can know without doubt that those people did not buy and certainly did not play Homefront. Any website that host user ratings should require some kind of verification that the person actually played the game and played enough of it to offer a review. One way for websites to confirm this would be to link the persons XBLA tag or PSNID. Doing this would allow for a check of trophies and achievements. People who stoop to this level or any FanNerd are beyond help and live in a pathetic world devoid of human contact. They are delusional and do nothing but hurt the hobby they claim to love. These people are fans...they are not **** even close. Play **** you are a True Gamer you will enjoy it.
