Broforce is a 2D relative of Just Cause. Got bored? Go entertain yourself. Life’s too difficult? You can stop whenever you want. Just don’t expect anything from the developers — they put hundreds of exploding barrels everywhere, gave us a ton of guns and called it a day.

I don't know why Broforce isn't more popular, because the gameplay loop with its destructible environment is incredibly satisfying and addictive. The concept of featuring different movie heroes is unique and fun. For me, it's one of the best local co-op games ever created, but it's also a lot of fun in single-player mode. Of course, before buying it, you should know that it's a simple, linear game - not comparable to complex Metroidvanias or similar. But that's not what this is about. It's all about pure gameplay fun (plus all the movie references, etc.).

Simple concept, but incredibly amusing symphony of destruction with a strong multiplayer, spiced with humor and 80-90ties blockbuster references. No one should miss this arcade, no matter if single- or multiplayer.

Completely crazy, over the top, and extremely fun, this is another great indie game published by Devolver, that any fan of action, explosions and legendary movie heroes should try out. It's ironic, chaotic, and full of energy. It was definitely worth waiting for Broforce to get out of its long early access phase.

Broforce is the absolute tribute to the good old action-hero movies. With lots of guns, blood and explosions, supported by a really large cast of heroes, it delivers a seriously big dose of adrenaline. If you like side-scroller run 'n gun games, Broforce is what you are looking for.

Imagine Contra meets Kid Chameleon via Super Meat Boy, with a touch of Sensible Software's irreverence, and you're there. One the most enjoyable couch multiplayer games I've played in quite a while.

This is a cool game on the surface but it has NO depth - I got bored of it after an hour. I played it with a friend and we both got bored of it an hour later. I think this is a 4.99 game - wait for a sale. To Recap: - The Bro's RNG can really screw you if you get a Bro with more specific abilities. - While loading times are usually very short, they can spike to a minute or more. - The game doesn't tell you its controls; it took me until my second playthrough to figure out you can run. - It's essentially 'Team America: World Police': The Videogame.

This game is great. I played it on my Switch and performance was great. Only the very last boss fight was a little rough. The game is extremely fun and I love the satirical view on the USA. The game is obviously meant to mock the US interventions on the premise of "freedom". The game is simple but fun. Overall, a great experience.
