It's a nice way to put your amiibos to use. It's a party game, so don't expect deep or too complex gameplay mechanics, but cards and action figures are implemented in an original and interesting way.

It's digital board gaming at its most basic, with a surprisingly sincere effort from a developer that seems burnt out on the genre.

Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival is Mario Party but lacking true content!

Es un juego muy bueno, hace un muy buen uso de la GamePad. Ya en la actualidad donde se hace más fácil encontrar los implementos para jugar, la verdad se disfruta bastante. Es especialmente hecho para jugar con amigos o familiares. Me parece entretenido.

Its an extremely fun board game but still just a board game a better alternative for WIU is Mario party 10 play that instead.

It's simple enough for people of all ages to enjoy, and, as I've already mentioned a couple of times through the review, it's utterly adorable.

I NEVER got the hate for this game, i think you guys are just expecting: Mario party but animail crossing. Well thats not it! Its a relaxing digital board game whare you use the amibo as a pion. And there are minigames but outside of the board game that uses amibo cards in genius ways, i specaly love that island one so much, that minigame alone makes me give this higher than a 5 but even the rest of the game is amezing. this game is specaly for casuals. If your an avrage hardcore solo gamer than this game is abselutly not for you, also this game is WAY more fun with friends or specaly famely, i play it a lot with my parents and they really enjoy it! So yeah play this with famely and maybe friends and you have an abselute blast! Also this game is awesome for collectors like me. Easy 8/10 for sure! Also this game is one of my manny childhood games and i played it before mario party but even that this game is REALLY good!

Animal Crossing Amiibo Party is not the game that the franchise deserves but some of its minigames have interesting but unexploded mechanics. The presentation and soundtrack are charming but it only makes us wish for a complete game of the series on Wii U. Not everything was bad in my experience but Nintendo could definitely make a better game.

For the money you ultimately get two figurines, three cards and a game package with snippets of fun and charm - it's ultimately up to you whether that's worthy of your cash.

Witty writing and overall charm can only carry a game so far. Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival has those two things in spades, but a barren wasteland of interesting gameplay makes it a party game that falls short of even the earlier 2015 disappointment Mario Party 10.

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival is the sort of game that should have been free. It holds such little content that is actually interesting that most players will find it a waste of their time to play, especially when the far superior Mario Party series already exists. It is a nice way to actually use those Animal Crossing Amiibo figures that you might feel the need to collect, but their function is so forced that it detracts from the experience rather than enhances it.

A new low for Nintendo and for Animal Crossing, in what is the least amount of fun you can have with an amiibo without needing urgent medical attention afterwards.

What's that? You wanted a brand new Animal Crossing for the console nobody owns? Nah. You get a bad Mario Party wannabe instead.

Worse Copy of Mario Party, they copied the whole thing with bad grafics and less Minigames. However it‘s a funny partygame to play with friends!

Received this game as a gift and it's not as bad as everyone says it is. The graphics are pretty decent, cute characters are there for you to smile at and the music is your average Animal Crossing music, just a little more upbeat. Doesn't mean it's a decent game though. I'm still unsure if this was just a cash-grab or not, but I'm pretty sure it was. I absolutely love the amiibo figures that you can buy, but the fact you have to keep picking them up feels... unnecessary? To just roll a dice? There's also no minigames on the boards, and the 3 minigames you can play aren't Mario Party level or anything. They're cute though. The game also seems to go on for a long, long time. I don't know, if you're looking for an Animal Crossing spinoff game, just buy Happy Homes Designer. At least you don't need an amiibo to play the game there. Like I said, it's not the worst game but it's also not good.

Some of the minigames are decent, but this game ****. The board game idea isn't the best, but I would be fine with it, as an extra mode. Making it the main mode doesn't work as well, unless it's very interesting. And this is really boring. This shouldn't have been the only Animal Crossing game on the Wii U. Imma go back to playing Mario Party 10 now.
SummaryThe Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival game is a new way to play with your favorite Animal Crossing characters. Your amiibo figures are front-and-center in this party game, and you’ll get to utilize them with fun content. Bring to life an expansive and dynamic board game where the board is based on the months of the year like the core Anim... Read More
