Shartfield is not a bad game. It is far from reaching the level of quality of an Elder Scrolls or a Fallout but it remains a good pastime, enjoyable for a while. game session. Nevertheless, the June 2024 update brought its share of good things (official support for mods) but above all its share of disappointment: microtransactions. Of course, you may think that these are not obligatory to enjoy the game but the fact remains that they constitute additional content MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE for what they offer. Among them, the most shameful is the one concerning the new in-game faction of the Alliance of Trackers. This is a faction that was added to the game with the June 2024 update but only the first mission is available in-game. ALL other missions must be purchased on the Creation Club for the modest sum of 700 credits (+/-€7) for each mission. This means that if the new faction is intended to receive around ten missions and you buy them all, it will cost you as much as the price of the base game. This is unacceptable, especially for content that should have been present on the vanilla release of the game. The Creation Club microtransactions had already been heavily criticized on Skyrim and Fallout 4, their addition on Starfield shows that Bethesta, despite its fine words, does not listen to his community at all.

Challenging and addictive. Not on the level of something like jump king but a very challenging platformer that is very satisfying when you finish a level. The story is actually really good too, I don't want to spoil it but if you can finish the whole game if has big undertale vibes in terms of the twists and emotions it goes though

A Major setback from D3. I never thought I would say that in a million years - What happened to the exp combo bonus? That was SO FUN in D3, why remove it?? - Who was the idiot who said "I know what players want! More on death explosions from mobs!" No one wants to break up the flow of awesome killing sprees only to have to spend 2-3 seconds watching a mob blow up, to pick up some garbage sacred item we didn't even need. - Why the hell does Sacred and sub 725 gear drop in wt4? Like.. what? WHY? The entire itemization process is awful. When I hit 100, I want to farm better gear than when I was level 70. - NM dungeons. Okay Blizzard, we get it that you want us to farm those. But the thing is, they kinda **** and are not fun. Resource Burn? Seriously? Stormbanes Wrath? Lightning Dome? In what world did you think this was fun? They aren't fun. They're the opposite of fun. In fact, despite that I've done hundreds of NM dungeons, honestly they are just not as good as Greater Rifts. D3 was better in this way. - What's with the pointless puzzles? I don't need the menial task of clicking 2 levers next to spikes that do 0 damage, over and over and over again. Just why? - Every dungeon feels flat. No depth, no stairs, no secret cow level or pony level awaiting us. Same stupid fight, every time only they have some obnoxious modifier that just isn't fun at all. - Everything about how the horse moves pisses me off. Gets stuck on everything, can't sprint in towns. - Inventory management is pure garbage and needs an entire rework. I'm not even going to harp on this because there are others here that have posted amazing suggestions. The entire aspect system is awful. I love the idea of an upgraded codex system that doesn't steal inventory space. I have 7 mules just to hold gear on 2 characters. Most of the aspects have like 1% difference in their stats, so pointless and frustrating.

So, the real problem 13 years ago were bugs. When you have PC - it's not a problem, you can start/restart/finish any bugged quest in the game. But when it comes to console gaming - you just can't. And you can ruin the game without knowing it if you kill some mob or pick up some item. Personally I'm stuck with druid quest - the NPC (Cedric) is just not talking to me. I am not sure that developers are gonna release a patch for 13yo game, but releasing a buggy game on console is a bad move.

The usual pretentious game from the Frictional Games people. In a game where it would make sense to be able to defend yourself from monsters, you just can't do it. These developers and their equally pretentious fans defend this as being part of the "horror" element to feel totally helpless. Its supposed to be an "experience". Give me a break. It is so boring that all these years and all the money these developers have made that they remain belligerent toward stepping outside of the run and hide horror theme. In the past these games existed because game consoles and computers were not powerful enough to give us more options, there was at least a technical excuse. In this case people say outright mean, crude and insulting things to anyone who questions Frictional Games' efforts. We have tons of processing power in terms of CPUs and GPUs nowadays, even integrated graphics has come a long way too. Even resorting to the usual boring retaliation of, "You don't like the way they make games?, then make your own you idiot, how dare you critiicize these amazing people!" Ugh. The amount of fanatics who follow this company and willingly give them money for the same game every time are not better than the Call of Duty and Battlefield people who mainly buy and play due to peer pressure (look at the failed boycott of Modern Warfare 2 on PC to show that many have no integrity and will cave under peer pressure). The other defense is "this type of game is just not for you then", then the game shouldn't call itself a survival game, its barely a game and more just the developers trying to continue to make the same lame game as Penumbra was, same mechanics but with better graphics. Now fast forward to now because people are weak minded, we barely get multiplayer games where I can host my own stinking server, no, I have to pay the greedy publisher more money in a microtransaction, to rent or borrow a server that will likely be well out of my connection range and have poor ping, but they give you no choice. Why do they not allow you to host your own server? These greedy and selfish game companies don't want to give us the ability to prolong or improve their games through mods (so much for PC being the place for mods), very little of that these days with this culture of online surveillance and worse. So they deny us the ability to have critical files to make any meaningful improvements. Think about for a second, and imagine what it would be like if people on PC could take all of the pointstreaks or whatever from every single Call of Duty game from Modern Warfare 1 to say, Call of Duty Black Ops 4. Dozens of abilities and dozens of ways to play the game, especially if it was balanced and not frustrating, meaning, you still only get 3, but you can choose from everything from a basic helicopter to AGM missiles. The only things I would exclude for balancing, would be any streaks like the MOAB from MW3 where it removes the entire enemy team. On top of that, imagine a Call of Duty where you could use all of the weapons and not be restricted to what the developers allow for multiplayer. Frictional Games does allow mods but it would take a monumental effort to improve this game, so much so that it might be better to actually make a whole new game instead, its just not intuitive nor is it something I would want to spend my time doing, besides, these developers really need to branch out from the tired horror game themes and perhaps make a game where exploration is encouraged and you can defend your character from monsters/enemies, but perhaps that is asking too much because people will keep giving them money for the same game over and over, and we wonder as PC gamers why things are not what they used to be with mods and why everything is getting worse as developers continue to lie to us about "PC is the lead platform", all just marketing lies to manipulate people to buy the game. I am not going to say anymore, this game does not require any substantial critique, its the same type of game as Penumbra or Amnesia, if you want to play a game with some horror stuff and more exploration but has its own limitations, try to find a copy of Betrayer (its gone from steam) and download it, that game kept me more entertained than this garbage "horror experience".

This is a bad, bad game. I know it's still work in progress and localized from the original Polish language, but still, just bad. - Terrible user interface, a huge activity/event log on the left, quest and map windows are draggable. Right side contains advertising for you to upgrade to a premium account. - Bad pathing. - Too many NPCs scattered everywhere, especially in towns. - NPCs who give you a quest don't provide hints on what to do, where to go next. It boils down to trial and error, and searching the name of the place/person on the map of your zone. - World map is confusing. - Cluttered inventory, with no coherent stacking rules. Sometimes quest items take up about one third of your total inventory slots. - Terrible combat system, I think it's turn-based but you have the option to instantly finish combat, your character's remaining health (or death) is auto-calculated, and any loot e.g. animal hide, animal teeth. No weapon drops. - If your character 'dies', it actually faints and wakes up in a nearby town. Good luck trying to go back to where you died. - I think there's crafting in the game, you can collect copper ingots and iron ingots in-game. More inventory clutter. - Most merchant NPCs won't buy the junk you collected. - Empty English server, no one playing at all. I heard the Polish server is more crowded. - There's a Margonem Wikia, but good luck trying to find anything useful from it. There was a NPC robber lying on the ground outside town whom you could interact with, there were a couple of options, and I chose to offer assistance and give some food. It turned out to be an ambush, he stabbed my character and he died, reviving in a town somewhere. Was this really necessary? Life is short. Don't waste your life playing this crap.

From the game-play over connectivity issues until new features (timed finishing). Even after 3 months of patching the game it is still not fun to play. I think Microsoft made several errors with this release. I will offer constructive criticism using this account to review, as opposed to useless complaining. But I will still rate it a 3 out of 10 for the graphics and pushing the hardware requirements forward so things like new GPUs and CPUs are actually worth purchasing to play these type of games. The first error was not releasing the game through a DRM-free channel like GOG or just plain DRM-free from the get go. If they did this, they would have garnered the goodwill of PC gamers showing us that they don't need DRM to sell their games to us. I honestly do not care about Windows 10, I have gone through all the privacy things and it is just fine with me especially since it means games can be natively DX12 and make good use of PC hardware rather than be hamstrung by backwards compatibility. The second error was the micro-transactions, what they should have done is bundle all of the things they want to sell as extra, as one big expansion. That method would have worked much better and they would have avoided the negative press from micro-transactions. This shows how disconnected the game developers and companies actually are from the PC gamers who purchase their games to support development of future games. PC gamers do not like micro-transactions. Microsoft should sell all their games DRM-free and feature complete with expansions later, that would have done much to improve their public relations with PC gamers. It would actually encourage people to buy more games made by their game development teams. Sigh. Just another missed opportunity, no matter how good the actual game itself is.

I've heard some complaints about technical issues with the game, but the ones I experienced weren't too distracting. Shadow of the Colossus had massive slowdowns at times, and that game was great. Occasionally, I was given the wrong narration for the scenario, but that wasn't too bad. Not counting the wonky AI in this, though. The thing preventing the game from being a 10 or, as many have mindbogglingly called it, "a masterpiece" is that it simply isn't very fun, at least not for the vast majority of the experience, mostly the last hour or two. If you think this game is a masterpiece, you don't understand what the word "masterpiece" means. The core gameplay is light platforming and what feels like barely a handful of puzzles, and the majority suffer from the same issue as Portal 2: all there is to do is look for the one thing that you can actually do. Seriously, most puzzles are just a matter of looking for a single interaction point. Or finding an easily-accessible object and carrying it to another point. The aforementioned fun 1-2 hours of the game are enjoyable because you actually have a mixed toolset and enough variation in the environment to require that you put the pieces together on your own. There also isn't much risk or challenge in finding the right way to climb up to a single switch, so it's fun when you're thrust into a scenario with enemies constantly trying to snatch you, distract your companion, and murder him all at the same time. It's a shame that style of gameplay was such a small part of the game. The rest kind of just felt like connecting the dots between in-engine cutscene setpieces. Even with all that I would maybe rate it higher, but it loses points because of the terrible, terrible water puzzle segments. In multiple puzzles, I tried commanding Trico to do something, he would fail, I would look up the solution online (the water puzzles are the only things I had to look up), saw that what I was doing was correct but the AI was being stupid, and then stay there for 20 minutes trying to get him to understand my command. It is very, very bad when a game is mechanically very simple, but also incredibly difficult to get results, even when you are seemingly giving the correct inputs. And in all of those cases, I finally got results randomly. There was no difference in the orders given, but he would just decide to do it that time rather than, for example, swim back up to the surface after diving halfway down or just treading water and growling. Great music and great visuals. Story would have been better if the gameplay didn't make me so horribly frustrated with Trico. I still think Shadow of the Colossus' story was much better because it didn't constantly tear me out of the experience and make me question if the AI was glitching out and thus making things impossible. There's a lot to be said for the game maintaining the experience well enough that you can mentally remain in the world and forget you're playing a videogame with human-programmed AI. I really wish the puzzles were more involved/hands-on and less reliant on trying to order Trico around. The best segments in the game, IMO, were the ones that required very little assistance on Trico's part (like most of the segments near the end and a fairly early segment where you temporarily leave him stuck on a pillar). I hope their next game doesn't experience the same development Hell.

The individual elements of the game are well done, but ultimately the game just isn't very fun. There are maybe two spots that feel legitimately challenging, one stretch which is frustratingly annoying (due to fighting with the controls rather than demonstrating a mastery of them to overcome the challenge) and the rest which is ultimately just moving from point A to point B. One of the things that interested me at the outset was the idea that you carry a companion with a weapon instead of using one yourself. The mechanic ends up underutilized and generally plays as if you just carried a weapon yourself. It might have been cool if companions had health and could fend for themselves or they couldn't just teleport to your location or you couldn't switch between them so easily. Anything to make the experience more than just swapping through an equipped weapon. But as it's implemented, the companions have little character and end up just feeling like weapons that talk and occasionally leave your inventory. The pixel art is well done. The music is very well made but occasionally feels off and sets the wrong feeling for the scene. Overall, not bad, but not great. Not worth the $25 sticker price in my opinion.

After playing through this game many times and viewing the game in its entirety, I realized how much CD Projekt Red has gone downhill as a game developer and it doesn't make me look forward to Witcher 3, AT ALL. I want to go on record, and say I am all for their GOG, DRM-Free business model regarding PC games, which is where I got my copy of Witcher 2 and all my PC games. 3D Vision Review: This is for those of us like me out there locked into Nvidia's 3D Vision solution, which I prefer to the idiotic notion of playing a game in what I call "photosphere mode" others want to call it virtual reality. I prefer 3D, where things have an amazing depth and actual realness to them, versus the "photosphere mode" being hyped up, because unlike 3D, is all hype compared to 3D, I want to experience the game with extreme 3D depth and smoothness at 120hz per eye, not play the game in a "photosphere mode". In fact, I can't wait for the true 240hz 3D monitors where we get to play the game in 3D with 120hz to each eye with some upgraded 3D glasses. Okay, rant over. This title is Nvidia 3D Vision Ready. My own personal experience with it is that it is great, there's a wonderful sense of 3D Depth at all times when playing in 3D mode, especially with depth and convergence settings set how I want. This is made better by the high quality audio the game has, the environmental sounds are good, the people sound like real people and the music is okay, I'm not a big fan of it, it's just okay to me but it is very high quality. Gameplay/Story Review: It's a action RPG with a few major dialogue choices here and there, you can interact with everyone but only a few npcs serve a purpose, like merchants and major npcs. It's supposed to be a game world of making choices, but there's no way to go your own way, I personally didn't care for being forced to go Roche's path or Iorveth's path. You can customize Geralt's look somewhat, and there a few armor choices here and there. Not to mention you can't get rid of characters you don't like and change the story, you're forced (once again) to play by the games twisted rules of letting obviously evil characters go, in many cases. There are only a few instances in which you can get rid of the obviously evil characters. I would have preferred more freedom to change the story. It is comparable to a corridor shooter, in that there are very limited choices on where you can go and what you can do and you must go the way the game tells you to with an extremely limited degree of control, which is not what an RPG should be doing. Potions should be able to taken whenever you want, not just during meditation. To me the story is needlessly complicated. I would have preferred if it was more focused. The first glaring flaw that sticks out to me, is that somehow Geralt is being blamed for what happens to King Foltest at the beginning, because there were no witnesses, one simple question for that, is why don't I have the choice to wait for Roche, so Roche can go with me? or better yet, why not wait for Roche to bring along a few Blue Stripes? This comes up a lot, I can think of many situations in the game, where I think out loud, why can't I say no? It makes sense, but no, there is a scripted narrative I must follow, despite how little sense it makes to do so. Basically, the entire game is scripted in advance, its like playing a modern take on the PC games of old, the point and click interactive movies with digitized or real scenes which also didn't give you much choices either. This game has multiple endings but so do some of those really old point and click games. The areas you get to explore are little more than just pretty scenery, sometimes there's some enemies or a new quest, but you are locked down to a grid. I expect I will feel the same way when I play Witcher 3, which won't happen until I can buy the fully patched game with all DLCs. 2 out of 5, for the great 3D Vision, sound, graphics and the Red Kit SDK. Everything else is just bad and brings the score down a lot. I do appreciate them providing us with the Red Kit SDK along with this game. I hope they provide us with the updated SDK with the release of Witcher 3 and I hope Witcher 3 is a much better game, but like I said, I'm not buying it until I can buy it fully patched and with all of its DLC added in.

As a professional player with 9999 hours in this game, I would say this is the king of all games existing in the galaxy. The developers are indeed one of the most talented teams, if not the best, that ever existed in this universe. How come this astonishing achievement being swallowed by a sea of negative scores? Why don't you guys just face the truth, and accept that this game is the master of all games? It is your fate to spread the glory message of how great this game is to the mankind. All hail to the glory of old day WarZ, the absolute power over all games in the world.

This is a master piece of art that should not be called as a game and sold at such a low price. Come on, indie fanboys, rate this game as high as possible!!!! This represents the future of gaming, the booming of PC gaming standards! This is a war between old-fashioned PC gaming and drastic innovation with emphasis on player experience. Time has come, the day of PC renovation has arrived. Don't listen to the classic gamers, believe in yourself. All hail the prosperity of Coffee Stain Studios !

DKCTF is an amazing game. I'm not finished completely yet, but what I can say is that it is (one of) the best game on Wii U. The levels are so vibrant, the background looks just fantastic, every second something is moving or changing. The controls are good, especially under water. The music fits to each level, and nearly each level has its unique soundtrack. The graphics are very fluid and colorful, only 720p, but that's more enough; it's still very beautiful. The game is very hard, but therefore you have items you can buy in Funky Kongs shop. Negatives: Loading times really are a bit long, but OK. And the bonus stages for puzzle pieces get a bit boring after a time. All in all, this game is amazing. Every Wii U owner should play it! It just makes that much fun, and that's the most important thing.

Well it's a cheap game and it shows. Shot, linear, simple. Pretty much what you'd expect from a casual/tablet game. Don't expect a full-fledged oldschool RPG and you won't be disappointed.

After purchasing the game on my jailed device and seeing the "You cannot fire on a Jailed device" message pop up, I was a bit upset. Luckily someone had made a bypass (they are also getting rid of that message in the next update) that disabled that message. After I got passed the DRM, the game felt good (aside from the double click to move thing, you can disable it in the options). It feels like a Deus Ex:HR on mobile, which is great for me, me being a huge deus ex fan. The story is good and ties with the Human Revolution story, giving you a different prospective. Graphics are pretty good but I have seen better. Controls are a bit iffy with the tap to kill type gameplay. But overall it is a good game for any deus ex fan.

This game is HILARIOUS!!!. it is absolutely deadpool at his best/ every five minutes I laugh. there are a few noticeable bugs but they don't ruin the experience of the game. for every deadpool fan it's a must buy, but if you are looking for just some funny good time this is also for you. the only people who should not buy this are those who are looking for a hardcore action game. P.S. Chris Nolan is voicing deadpool in the most funny way possible.

Why 5? Because it is a mix of pros and cons. Pros: 1. Original horror feeling like resident evil 1 to 3 AND NO MORE STUPID QTE FREQUENT CUTSCENE! 2. The creatures are much more nasty than RE 6, and look like those born from the result of biohazard (Finally no more stupid gun-firing fly-like creature in RE6) 3. better plot than RE6 4. some more interesting puzzle solving like those in RE 1 to 3 5. less linear path like those in RE 5 & 6 6. a nice "scanner" to play around, at least something new Cons: 1. poor port and crappy control, esp. mouse sensitivity issue 2. poor texture quality due to NDS port 3. useless partner due to poor AI and they deal ZERO damage to enemy 4. enemy just ignore your partner, and target at you, what a shame 5. in urgent situation, you are still advised to use the scanner to find goodies, that just break the atmosphere 6. low diversity of enemy types, too boring

In short, very realistic city simulation game, both in the perspective of running a country and citizen simulation. [So, why only 6 out of 10? Because 3 marks deducted for the intrusive DRM, which make the game freeze due to its home calling to server, resulting in a save progress lost] Trading, industry building, politics, population control, housing, health care, election, diplomatic issue, etc. All have some depth extent of skills to be mastered, so you can have a good economy while satisfying citizens with different needs. Resolving their conflict with your government is your task. Very realistic indeed. On the other hand, the citizen simulation is good, they really have a living place (unless you make them change by your politic means) and working place (will also vary according to your economy and his/her job satisfaction), you can really feel an alive person when observing them close by, i.e. not a random variable just like 1 "famous game". This game has a good sense of humor and a great simulation, which needs strategic planning. The design of your own avatar is also one key way of your success, depending on your play style. Really worth a try on this.

Summary: a worth buy due to good combat/upgrade system which makes the control good for adventure combat. First of all, I am new to this series. So, I will comment more on the game system and plot. Combat/upgrade system: This incorporate many elements from several famous games, like dodging system (Alan Wake), cover taking/stealth kill/instinct (Hitman Absolution), character skill upgrade (many action games have this nowadays), resource/weapon part collection (Dead Space 3). Its implementation is so good that the combat can be carried out smoothly with the help of above elements. Lara also interacts with the environment flawlessly, she knows to take cover when needed to, and crouch for stealth encounter when needed to. Very smart indeed. The character skill upgrade are generally helpful as well, but balancing. The use of visual icons to prompt for QTE is generally user friendly to players as well. Excellent. Plot/Adventure: As a reboot from series, Lara starts as a newbie, and she gets more skill/tactics as she advances through the story, which also allows some back-tracking to previous places for treasure hunting. A good setting! And the developers have guts as well, if it needs to have gore and violence in order to present the cult atmosphere, so it will be. Good try. Optional quests Action: The game also does not deviate from its main purpose. Yes, tomb raider! So, visiting optional tomb, finding treasures via solving puzzles or climbing jumping, with some cool and exciting jump drop in between. By doing so, players can have some understanding about items, and gain more XP for skill upgrade, a good incentive and fun way to enhance the game play, rather than simply killing enemies. Overall, a good combat and adventure system and character development throughout the game, with the nice elements implemented, it is really fun to explore the island and complete the side quests.

The game itself is simply terrific, but the port is abyssmal. Especially considering how a simple mod released on day 1 by a fan fixes 2 of the most glaring technical issues, namely the native resolution buffer and DOF. That's simply inexcusable. Just a little more effort on FROM's part would have avoided most of the moaning by PC users and gave the game a better rep. Now with the fanfix, the game looks absolutely stunning, much better than it ever did on consoles. Only problem remaining is the 30 fps lock, that sometimes drops to 15 fps for whatever reason. I hope the modder can fix this as well, because the devs likely won't. As for the game it's unlike anything I've played before, and most importantly the antithesis to all modern games that want to be as easy, casual, and cinematic as possible. DS shines in world design, combat mechanics, and an unforgiving but rewarding difficulty. Worth a shot for anyone who likes action RPGs.
