I have to say that I really like the original movie and I think it needn't have been made again. I can't say that I actually dislike the reboot. It had it's moments and I did like the fact that it came off more as a human tragedy story than a horror flick. I must also say that it was a lot easier on the eye to watch pretty Chloe Grace Moretz than it was to watch Sissy Spacek, but the movie just somehow fell flat for me.

I thought this movie was funny. You know, I saw a review that Roger Ebert gave and I'm sorry that his jaw fell off and he **** it was obvious that the man couldn't follow the plot at all.

I am not a real fan of romantic movies in general but I did enjoy Titanic. It was visually very pleasing, the performances were quite good and the script was imaginative. Billy Zane was surprisingly good at playing the snobbish rich bastard, and Dicaprio had started to look like a man by the time it was made. Until then I had always thought he looked like a pretty girl.

Okay, okay, a lot of people like this movie far more than I. I am not a stupid **** in mechanical physics from MIT before the age of 25 ( I'm not saying this to brag, but to set up my premise ) but I can't for the life of me tell anyone what this movie is actually about. Completely stumped here. It's only saving grace as far as I'm concerned is that it is visually stunning and the actor's performances were noteworthy. Other than that...I found no real plot to follow and frankly didn't give a damn what happened after the first hour.

Possibly the most humorous movie I've ever seen. It's just too bad that what makes it so funny is the truth behind the story. It was reportedly turned down by nearly every studio to which it was presented because of a fear of insulting stupid people. Well, there ya go...STUPID PEOPLE NEED TO BE INSULTED!!!

Really, really bad movie. This is purportedly the reality of the author's life. I don't believe it for a minute. It was just disturbing and vulger. Chloe Grace Moretz performance wafted between bad, and oddly enough, astoundingly good. Her performance during the 'revenge' scene was absolutely amazing. But there were times when her overall performance was so bad it was uncomfortable to watch.

This is the most beautiful movie I have ever had the pleasure to watch, both visually and conceptually. The performances by the children were deep and sensitive. It is the finest work Scorsese has ever done.

A ridiculous movie of which the critics feel compelled to like. I read reviews of this movie from them before the thing was even available for their viewing. It is a chick-flick meant to show that even gay men can be sensitive, and caring. I would be willing to bet there isn't a straight man in America that went to see this piece of psuedo-gay porn voluntarily. They went only because their wives and girlfriends wanted them to. If this were about two women it maybe, MAYBE would have made it onto the Lifetime channel.

If I Stay2

This movie is bad. Very, very bad. It proves once again that movies mad from young adult books are not meant for anyone, of any age who considers themselves to be adult. Chloe Grace Moretz is marvellous, as she usually is, particularly in the cello playing scenes. That being **** flick is maudlin, contrived, tear jerking schmaltz. Chloe did not deserve to have this movie thrust upon her.

Kick-Ass 23

This movie, while an entertaining piece of mind candy, is inferior to the first Kick ass movie. While Aaron Taylor Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz and the rest **** cast try valiantly to make this movie go, no actor in the world could overcome the dialogue given them. Both Moretz, and Johnson are fine actors and both are terrific in the scenes involving their athleticism, both seemed lost in the trite lines given them.

This is an incredibly touching story more of young love, than vampires. Although there are some frightening moments ( enough to satisfy fans of the vampire genre ), it is essentially about the bond between a 12 year old girl and a lonely pre-adolescent boy who is bullied. They need each other. She for him to help her as her 'familiar', and he needs her to protect him. Their individual needs do not, however, lessen the impact of their legitimate feelings for each other. It is a splendid movie well worth the remake of the original. Both young actors are terrific. Displaying deep sensitive portrayals of their characters. The direction is spot on and the staging of the scenes are virtually characters themselves.
