Dark Souls III: The Ringed City8
Apr 13, 2017
Nice to see that for once on here, there seem to be less stupid reviews by brain-dead people than usual. The Ringed City is a satisfying, massively enjoyable addition to Dark Souls 3. For me it works better as seen like that rather than classing it as the 'ending' to Dark Souls which is only ever going to breed disappointment. Good - The level design and atmosphere are as strong as anywhere else in the game, if not stronger. The Ringed City level itself, whilst a little small perhaps, is beautifully formed. The added lore is as vague as ever but also hugely intriguing. There are a good variation of interesting and diverse enemies and NPCs. The Boss fights are memorable and challenging. Bad - to me there still is not enough armor, but I suppose there never can be. My main criticism would be the overall size; despite being double the size of Ashes of Ariandel, I still found the levels to be too small. Although that being said, there is more to do within those levels. Overall this is a 8/10 piece of DLC. More importantly though, it adds more much needed padding and increased quality to an already great, but previously too short main game. I originally scored Dark Souls 3 8/10 because of its size. Now with both DLCs I am happy to say I now consider Dark Souls 3 a 9/10 and probably overall, just about the best in the series.

Mass Effect: Andromeda7
Apr 7, 2017
Whilst there are always senseless, moronic reviews attached to any new release these days, some of the choice ones on here really do reach new levels of stupidity. Mass Effect Andromeda is a massively ambitious game that doesn’t hit every mark it tries to and there are some truly baffling and terrible design decisions but it is in no way even half as bad as some have claimed. Unfortunately the very first step of the game is also one of the most disappointing. There really is no excuse here. 5 or 6 years development time and we have been given a truly awful character creator. It is massively limited by not allowing the player to actually create a face like Fallout 4 does for example, but simply provides around 10 increasingly terrible looking presets for the player to choose which they can then only change some dimensions and positions on. For a game considered to have strong RPG elements this is of course very damaging. What is a welcome idea is that the player is able to edit their characters sibling as well to dictate their in game appearance which in turn, generates what their father, the original Ryder looks like. But of course, this good idea is also stifled by the hugely simplistic creator. Not long after this crushing disappointment and confusion as to how any dev could actually sign off on this creator and believe it is ok, the game opens very well in my opinion. In a throwback to the original ME, the player has a brief intro to their situation in deep space and are then quickly thrust onto a planet which turns out to be very hostile. This introduces the player to the much improved and enjoyable combat system, one of the squad mates and a taste of the, pretty stunning environments the player can expect from the rest of the game. After that the game properly opens up and really does get better and better as you go through it. As I have mentioned the planets and environments are beautiful but unfortunately are not matched by the character models with human characters in particular being very disappointing and lacking in detail. Out of the many negative claims about the game prior to release, the dead eyes of human characters is one that was very true, a real shame given that some of the alien characters look great. This, regrettably, brings me onto one of the worst, most bizarre design decisions/omissions I have ever seen. So whilst the crafting system is decent, essentially you are only ever crafting gear for yourself as Bioware has taken the very strange decision not to allow players to gear squad mates AT ALL. Quite unbelievable that a game in any series can regress this far considering it was something that you could do in the original ME. Yes they also strangely limited choices in the follow up OT games but now there is nothing at all. Not allowing the equipping of squad mates is just baffling, and it is hard to see any reasoning behind a decision to limit the player in this way. Personally I had hoped not only to be able to equip them, but to be actually able to edit them in game as well, so my disappointment was confounded by having no options whatsoever here. In a lot of ways it’s like the devs seem to have assumed that any sort of micromanagement, whether regarding squad mates or planets, is a bad thing. I would wholeheartedly disagree with that and would take some micromanagement over what we have been given. For a game such as MEA it adds control and diverse experiences for each player. However unlikely, I hope that some of the most glaring issues are somehow fixed or enhanced with future patches. For now all the issues in the game do unfortunately pull it down from being great but happily not quite to the point of completely ruining it. It’s much closer than I would have liked but I think the good points just about outweighing the bad. I understand why many have been left disappointed as expectations were very high. I am in the same boat and have been left disappointed and frustrated at many aspects of the game. However focusing on the strong points of MEA has allowed me to enjoy my time with it a lot, and with aforementioned future fixes/enhancements I hope for, along with some sizeable DLC, MEA could still be great. For now, it is a solid 7/10.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition10
Nov 7, 2016
Some truly hilarious review on here. Giving one of the greatest RPG's of all time a low score is just stupid; there isn't a single negative review with any hint of logic or sense about it. Skyrim is still an amazing game, as there still isn't any other fantasy RPG that has come close to it since it's 2011 release. Now in a new and improved format, it remains King of RPG's. Better than the Witcher 3, better than Fallout 4, it's an amazing game. Good - It's more of what is great about Skyrim, but now with much better visuals and Mod support to potentially greatly extend the already sizeable game. If you are like me, primarily a console player, you will be very pleased with the PS4 mods available. Personally I never thought it would happen in a million years. Since starting a new character I have installed around 10 mods, ranging from fixing little annoyances to adding new content, they're great. Bad - Full price is a bit much but just about worth it. The worst things about Skyrim remain to this day as most are part of the fabric of the game design. The factions are far, far too basic, particularly the Companions and Mages Guild - there simply isn't enough to do with them, especially after taking charge. One of the strangest/worst design decisions is the inability to simply edit your characters appearance at any time. Yes you can go and do it in the Ratway, but devs should realise that we should be able to do it from a menu at absolutely any time we want. Verdict - If you are a fan and have the PS3 version, BUY IT. If you've never played it but want to play probably the best ever fantasy RPG, BUY IT. While you're waiting for it to download, read some of the hilarious negative reviews and laugh at how stupid people can be. 10/10

A solid experience as either an MMO or RPG. Average but definitely worth a try now that it's f2p. Good - Nicely atmospheric game world that captures the essence of D&D. The character creator is pretty good by MMO standards. Decent voice acting and cleverly only added in for important dialogue. I also like both the crafting system and the Companion system. It is also a game that is very much soloable which suits me as I have zero interest in pvp and very little in actually grouping with other people. But here, thankfully, the majority of things can be achieved with a trusty npc Companion. Comparing it to the soulless, hugely disappointing mess that is ESO, I much prefer this game. A lot of that is due to having no expectations of this game previously, but it just feels better. And although it is very much a typical MMO in every way, it doesn't feel like such a contrived, boring excuse for one that ESO is. Bad - By far the worst thing about the game is the camera angle, which strangely cannot be changed. Frustrating as it is far too distant from the character. The combat is very weightless, as are the physics in general, something every MMO I have ever played is guilty of. Why someone doesn't make an MMO combat system that has weight, like Dark Souls, I will never understand. Floating about with your heavy plate have no physics or sound at all seems to be the done thing with MMO's. A minor issue is that the Companion customisation is limited, only letting you name the character and choose from 3 or 4 outfits as the Companion levels. It seems fairly obvious that we should have been allowed to fully create companions, as in Pillars of Eternity. There is nothing new here at all, it's standard MMO stuff and that's what makes it average but you can get some hours out of it if you are in between or bored of superior games. Overall - Not a great game but quite addictive and %100 worth picking up for free. Nice to play an enjoyable, albeit predictable MMO after the awful ESO, which sits probably just behind GTAV as the most disappointing game of all time. Give it a try. 6/10.

The Technomancer7
Sep 5, 2016
Yet again, to anyone interested in this game, ignore the moronic negative reviews. I have read all of them for this game and none express a single valid point. Nor do the so called 'critic' reviews either, although the vast majority of them should always be ignored anyway, this game is a prime example of that. Below I will explain why. This is simply one of the most, if not THE most underrated games of all time that the so called 'critics' do not understand and are unable to accurately review. These idiots should never be trusted, they are the same people who gave a mess like GTAV 10/10, just because it was a GTA game and are too stupid and/or too well paid to have seen it's many, many flaws. This makes them unable to see past the flaws of a smaller game like The Technomancer and properly identify it's strong points. If you are into Cyberpunk, you will like this game. There simply isn't another current gen 3rd person Cyberpunk RPG in existence so that is reason alone to try this game. It feels like a cross between Total Recall, Mass Effect and Blade Runner. The gameworld the devs have created is probably the strongest part of the game with a strong cyberpunk atmosphere running throughout and an equally strong sci-fi, Total Recall-esque in other areas. The great world that has been created is also reflected in the excellent dialogue which again, some idiotic reviewers failed to separate from the voice acting, which is just above average. But the amount of dialogue is superb and really paints a picture of the world and its make up/various factions for the player. Both party members and main NPC's have more dialogue options than the majority of other games so I am unsure as to where the criticism of this part comes from. Think of Skyrim and Fallout 4 (both superb games) for example, where companions and NPC's have very little dialogue where you can only ask very simple things on the spot. Where as in The Technomancer you can ask quite a lot of things and receive complex, satisfying responses. The combat, another aspect that has been unfairly criticised is in actual fact, rather enjoyable. It's the difficulty level where the problems lie. On easy difficulty the combat feels good and you can string together some really cool combos. Yes the character is a little fragile even on this difficulty but it's good once you get used to it. Party members I had also read elsewhere were useless which is not the case at all. They could and should do a little more damage but the AI is superior to say, DA Inquisition where party members seem to be constantly stuck to you. There are a decent amount of armor/clothing available (still not enough) with the best ones, such as the Tehnomancer specific gear capturing the overall feel of the game and adding to the atmosphere with it's looks. This brings me on to graphics which again, are absolutely nowhere near as bad as has been made out. They are 7/10 graphics for a ps4 game, just above average which you would like to be better but you can look past as there isn't another game like this out there. The environs and cities are good, as are armor textures, where as character models are below average so it balances out. The main, real faults which anyone with a brain will identify and are separate from the nonsense pointed out elsewhere are as follows - the cities, although impressive are just a little too empty, but again look at a game considered a universal success like Skyrim where strangely, no one seemed to ever mention as a negative the fact that only about 100 people live there if we are to go by named NPC's in the game. Personally my biggest criticisms of the game are the overall scale with the game being too short, and the areas too small and restrictive which makes them feel too linear for a game of this type. This also brings up one of the few valid criticisms mentioned by others with backtracking being quite tedious as enemies seem to respawn when you move 2 areas away when it should be timed. Again though, this has been wildly exaggerated by others. Character customisation is very poor, limited to a selection of pre made faces and then changing the hairstyles/colours etc. The game would be so much better with more options and more of a blank canvass in terms of appearance but at least, although the game forces us into the Technomancer role, you can still play as YOUR Technomancer, akin to Mass Effect. In the end this is a good game which could have been great with a bigger budget or even just more time to make the game bigger. A perfect example of why 'critic' reviews are not worth reading. As you can see from my points above, for every unfair criticism the game received there is a counter to why it's actually better than some of the games the same people reviewed highly. Totally worth it if you can pick it up for under £30. You will definitely enjoy it if you are into Cyberpunk and enjoy games like Mass Effect. At least a 7/10. FACT.

Fallout 4: Vault-Tec Workshop6
Aug 5, 2016
Why are there so many idiots with no understanding of a 0-10 scoring system? As usual you should ignore the moronic 0/10 reviews. This a a decent dlc which adds a lot of potential hours of gameplay to an already vast game. It does however have its faults of course. Unlike any previous reviews for this, I will explain those faults sensibly. Good - The actual building of the vault I found to be very fun and time consuming. Like all good games, you really will wonder where the time has gone when playing it. The build area itself is vast and there is enough variety to create almost any vault design you have in mind. The overseer character Barstow is typical Fallout and adds an interesting living amoral vault tec employee to the game. Probably the best thing is the option to use the vault structures elsewhere, so although there is only one underground space you could construct other vaults elsewhere. Although build limit may be an issue anywhere but Spectacle Island. Bad - This dlc is very frustrating because eits such a good idea but has been fairly poorly executed. For a start the build limit is far, far too low and should have been at the very least, double what it is. Hopefully a mod will address that in future for ps4. It seems daft for Bethesda to make the underground space so vast but the build limit it so low. Don't get me wrong, you can still build a pretty large vault but will most likely find yourself resorting to the glitch exploit to expand. Another strange design decision and probably the most frustrating is the fact that there is no new way to assign settlers. So you build rooms such as cafeterias, clinic, security and classrooms but there is nothing there to assign settlers to so they will almost always be empty. So stupid by the devs. You can plonk a trader stand somewhere of course but it looks ridiculous if your vault design is consistent with vault tec The quest line also disappoints I'm afraid. The whole idea of experimenting on settlers could, and should have been taken much further. All you really get is 3 mediocre quests where you assign a settler to an object once with 3 mildly amusing outcomes. Experimentation should have been something you could do ambiently, that's the whole point of a vault after all. Verdict - 100% worth buying if you love the game and building the vault or vaults if you like, is very addictive. The dlc is let down by being too simplistic and by strange design decisions. It's like the dlc has been released only half complete, or as an unfinished idea. The idea is a good one but it should have been taken all the way. 6/10

Fallout 4: Far Harbor8
Jun 2, 2016
High quality dlc with the score on here only pulled down by the usual moronic reviews. This dlc is at least an 7/10, fact. Also read a few idiots moaning about frame rates being bad - I have experienced no problems whatsoever so have no idea what these people are on about. Good - The map is pretty big and helps pad out the game in that respect, given that the Commonwealth map isn't very big for a Fallout game. The island itself is very atmospheric with some great and memorable location rivaling some of the best in the main game. The story I also find to be excellent with good character all round and also a few twists. Particularly the parts revolving around the prototype synth Dima. Basically there is more of what made the main game great, with a different atmosphere and setting. Bad - My biggest gripe is that the story doesn't tie in enough with either the main story or with your standing within any of the main game factions. This is a problem with all Bethesda games though, you're standing within a faction and the decisions you have made do not have enough of an effect on the game world. There are also not enough new weapons and armor types, I would have liked to have seen more. Quite expensive dlc when you compare it to the likes of blood and wine in price. Verdict - A very good dlc that you will enjoy if you enjoy the main game, simple as that. I would have gave it 7.7/10 if I could as its very good and that's it. Very pleased with it but feel that future dlc can be even better. Enjoyable and worthy addition though. 8/10.

Dark Souls III8
Apr 20, 2016
Well as usual there are some astoundingly stupid negative reviews on here which you should ignore , unless you just want a laugh. You should also ignore any review dated on release date, as the game is impossible to accurately review in a single day. Both the negative reviews and those written on release day are posted for 'likes' and attention, nothing more. Anyway, the game itself is outstanding, as you would expect and manages to surpass even the bench mark that is Dark Souls 1. Good - The world and level design are by far the best of any souls game. The levels connect together beautifully but are also pretty large to boot. They are also beautiful to look at and provide an amazing atmosphere somewhere in between souls and Bloodborne. Some of the best level design I have ever seen, putting many other games to shame. The gameplay, as always, is top notch and very addictive with a large number of playstyles available which makes for hundreds of hours of gameplay and provides huge replayability. The bosses are far superior to Dark Souls 2 and actually mean something again making them even more memorable than Dark Souls 1 or Demon's. There are also a great number of weapons and armor sets to discover which has always been a part of souls games. Bad - The character creator isn't great with a few bugs and issues that seemed to have carried over from Bloodborne, thin, Giraffe like necks being one, hopefully it will be patched but Bloodborne never was. The worst thing is having item 'drop rates' - which is nothing more than a lazy way to make items hard to get. Devs can't think of anything better so simply slap a 1% drop rate on something to make it difficult to obtain. It can make trying to get a particular armor set very frustrating and simply is not any fun. Verdict - An amazing game that is the finest Souls to date and at least equals Bloodborne. This will score a 9 or even a 10 for me with some sizeable dlc. Addictive, creative and atmospheric Dark Souls 3 completely delivers. 8/10.

To anyone reading, please ignore the moronic negative reviews, not even a single one is worth reading other than to laugh at the sheer stupidity. Also ignore any review on the release date, as its impossible to accurately review a game of this size in a single day so these reviews were added simply to get 'likes'. After almost 50 hours in, Fallout 4 is one of the greatest games I have played in years. Before I explain why, I have to mention some of the negative reviews, comments and stupid comparisons. The vast majority of the negativity is almost completely baseless – the graphics are not the best but some of the other ‘points’ I’ve read are beyond belief. Here are a few of the most common - ‘they have ruined Fallout’ – no, they haven’t. ‘Its too buggy to play’ – no it isn’t, ‘its broken’ – nope, ‘its boring’ – ridiculous, ‘it’s the worst Fallout’ – the complete opposite. Or my favourite – ‘it doesn’t make the same impact that Fallout 3 did coming from 3’ – this is particularly ridiculous as that step up is impossible coming from last gen to current. The game is not perfect, as I said the graphics are not the best and there are a few glitches but I’ve played through 50 odd hours and have seen very little bugs or drops in frame rates, it’s been great. The streamlining of the levelling system may not be for everyone and to be honest, maybe it has been dumbed down a little but it doesn’t really detract from the game at all. The removal of the reputation system also irked me a little and I think it should have been in there but again, it’s not a huge issue. I also do not understand the comparisons to The Witcher 3 at all. The Witcher is a very good game but Fallout 4 excels at everything the Witcher fails at and as an RPG is streets ahead. The very fact that the Witcher forces you into a role completely dilutes the RP element of the game. Where as in Fallout, you create your own character which makes for stronger RP. Anyway, on to the game itself. Good – Its everything Fallout 3 was but bigger and better. Like all great games, there is absolutely tons to do and hours can be sunk into the game very easily without really doing much. The new Power Armor system I like as it increases the capability and importance of Power Armor over the previous games. Base building – a superb new feature which I personally, find highly addictive and is a good pastime in between quests. The map itself I really like, it has atmosphere and personality and the sense of exploration is amazing; there is so much to find and discover, other games pale in comparison. The new rafting system is good; finally each and every single item in the entire game world has a use and further adds to the exploration, scavenging aspect. I also like the character creator, the sculpting works well over sliders. I still think every game should just let you change your appearance from inventory but the fact that I can edit it at all is good enough. The combat is probably the best of any fallout, I always play in 3rd person and its done easier on here than Fallout 3. Bad – Because its made on the same engine, initially it can feel a little too similar to its predecessors but its really just more of what’s good. The map, whilst filled with things to find, is smaller than Fallout 3, which to me, is still a step backwards. No ‘official’ faction joining or reputation system – like I said not a huge deal but I think it should have been in there. Companion AI is pretty ****, any I’ve dealt with tend to be suicidal or just constantly get in your way like dogmeat. The RP element – while strong still forces the player to be a family man and some things later also seem to draw heavily toward a certain ‘good’ type of character, meaning that if you want to make an insane raider or something you can do it appearance wise, but the rest might need to be head canon. Overall this is a great game and the best in the Fallout series to date. The immersion and exploration make for potentially hundreds of hours of play that other games can only dream of. The wasteland of Boston is amazing and while the world map is smaller than previous games, it’s intelligently used and packed with far more locations overall. Some of the scores on Metacritic etc truly are ridiculous, if a mess like GTAV gets 10/10 then this would get 100/10, very different games of course but Fallout 4 is far better in almost every area that games should be judged on. Easy GOTY.

Bitterly disappointed with this. When I discovered the game touted as a modern Syndicate Wars, I was very excited as Wars is one of my favorite games of all time but this is not the game I wanted it to be. Good - the core gameplay is good and the graphics look great. The game does manage to retain the cyberpunk atmosphere of Syndicate Wars. Bad - by far the biggest problem is lack of customization for your team; I thought I would be able to design each of my agents from scratch and then gear them up before each mission. But no, each agent is predetermined and gear NEVER changes in appearance. All you can do is 'clone' random npc's but all that changes is the head and hairstyle, so disappointing. You don't even get the freedom to deploy your team; instead you are forced to field each of the 4 classes instead of the classes you want to field. The devs really, really should have allowed the player full freedom of customization for the agents. Having a 'base' would have worked better than always being in the game map. Verdict - Ironically, the games from 90's that inspired this actually do a lot of things better than this, like the Cryovat chamber where you applied mods to each cyborg and a clear mission briefing. If they brought out an update that allowed me to fully create each agent and then gear them with different looking clothes then this game would jump to an 8. But as is, with no customization at all, its a hugely disappointing 6/10.

Finally, Pro Evo is better than Fifa again. If you prefer slick gameplay over having licensing then this is for you. I always preferred Pro Ev to Fifa back in the Ps1 & 2 days and nowhaving returning after a 10 + year break, its still my fave. Good - The gameplay, this is what any football game is about. Ball control feels like it should; its not easy to beat a man, but then it shouldn't be should it. It also offers a decent variety in ways of scoring, from one touch passing, through balls, long shots to crosses. Graphics are good, as are most player likenesses, although some look a little cartoony. Editor can be fun making players etc. The master league is very addictive. Bad - The worst part is the AI/difficulty levels, they just don't scale very well. Like even on anything above 'Regular' difficulty every time in the entire game close down frantically in the exact same way so every AI team has identical tactics. You can easily win 8-0 on normal but the step up is just too annoying to be fun. The passing is also annoying and relates to bad AI; its too literal, like passing straight forward will do just that, even if its directly to an opposing player, imo there should be at least a little of correction. Its the same with through balls, about two thirds of the time its never to the player you actually wanted to play in. The lack of a license for teams and competitions can be a pain, but the editor allows you to compensate a little. Verdict - not perfect by any means but a good, addictive football game. If you have always preferred Pro Ev to Fifa, you will do so again with this. 8/10.

My god there are a lot of morons on here. To anyone reading this, as usual pay no attention to the stupid 0/10 'reviews', these idiots don't seem to understand a 0-10 scoring system. One particularly idiotic review comes from 'FullMcintosh', check it out if you want a laugh, he always gives games 0/10, so again, cannot even grasp the scoring system. The game is at the very least an 8/10, excellent gameplay, and graphics. If you are an mgs fan you will love it. If not, then try it anyway, its a very good game. The new open world (ish) setting adds something new and gives way more freedom and choices than previous mgs games. On the down side the story is pretty awful and the 'twist' at the end is one of the worst pieces of writing I have ever seen, truly awful. Other than that I'm very pleased with it. 8/10

A very, very good RPG that for me places better than DA Inquisition but is not a Skyrim beater. As usual there are a host of ludicrous reviews by people who are not gamers and are too stupid to understand a 0-10 scoring system; like do they realise a 0/10 would be a game that did not even load up? A particularly pathetic 'review' comes from hb1209, read if you want a laugh. Good - Beautiful and huge game world, unlike games like Red Dead or GTAV there is plenty to do in it as well. The story is excellent and even without playing previous Witcher games will keep you hooked. The voice acting is also superb compared to most other games and is up there in quality with the likes of Mass Effect series. Finally, finally you are now able to customize Geralt a bit. Gameplay is good enough to facilitate your journey through the game. Bad - Levelled armor; in any game ever made, is just annoying, games should follow Skyrim and Souls and just let players wear anything, it just works better. Also, no RPG should have armor that is unobtainable; once again, much like FF games, the antagonists wear cooler armor than can ever be obtained by the player, a crazy design decision by the devs. The reason I lasted an hour on the Witcher 2 was because I couldn't customize the player character; now I can which is a huge plus but it would be better if players had the option of designing their own character from scratch. Verdict - If you enjoy the games I have mentioned, Skyrim and Dragon Age especially, you will enjoy this game also. The lack of character creation takes away from the RPG element but doesn't ruin the game. 8/10.

As usual there are some pathetic and ridiculous reviews giving 0/10 etc, total nonsense, these morons do not even understand a 0 - 10 scoring system so how the hell do they qualify to use one? A special mention to user DavidTrif30, possibly the most idiotic person ever to write a review, up there with the person who gave the Godfather movie 0/10, if you want a laugh at some reviews, click on his profile! MK X is a very good fighting game, which I only scored a 7 because no matter how good, I always question true replayability of a fighting game when up against different genres like RPG's etc. Looks good, plays good, fatalities and X ray moves are really cool and a very good laugh with yout mates round.

An excellent game by any standards, with an engrossing, dark atmosphere and superb core gameplay that other games can only dream of. Once again, you would have to question the sincerity of the 'critic' reviews that give a disappointment like GTAV 10/10, but less to a far,far better game like this, crazy. Also worth mentioning, as ever, the stupidity of any user review giving this great game a low score when the game is at least an 8/10. FACT. Good - The atmosphere really is superb, up there with Demon's and Dark Souls 1, the influence of the same producer is evident, and very welcome. No other game has a setting quite like this; gothic, dark architecture with a hint of steam punk, along with the desolate feel of the first 2 souls games. Character creator is good, graphics are good, core gameplay, as you would expect, is very good, both challenging and rewarding. Huge replayability. Bad - like very game in the world that lets you create your own character, why oh why does it not let you then edit it later on? I will never figure out why games don't feature this. For a souls game, there isn't very much gear at all. What is there looks good but only about 12 armor sets, pretty poor, same with weapons, not enough. Verdict - great game which will go up to a 9/10 with some dlc with another area or 2 and some new gear. If you like Souls games, you will like this. Amazing atmosphere, great gameplay and looks good too. Worth owning a ps4 for alone. 8/10

Feb 3, 2015
The DA series has managed somewhat to redeem itself with Inquisition. Its a solid RPG and at the very least an 7/10, hampered by quite a few annoying design flaws and bugs. Once again it says alot about what is wrong with the gaming industry today when a total mess like GTA 4 can get 10/10 but some 'reviews' give Inquisition 2 or worse; crazy. Good - fear not DA fans who have yet to play this, it is miles better than the hugely disappointing DA2. Graphics are nice, story is good with the overall quality of the voice acting far above the vast majority of games, what we have come to expect from this and the Mass Effect series. Combat and character movement in general is much improved and is more visceral than the ludicrously weightless, cartoon feel of DA2. Like all good RPGs, there is a huge amount to keep you occupied. Bad - The mini map, oh my god the mini map! Don't know how they have done it but it really is the worst, most useless mini map in any game I have ever played. Be prepared to constantly check the main map because the mini map is pointless. Tactical cam can feel a bit clunky and 9/10 times isn't really necessary, ditto lock on. If you're anything like me and like to complete the vast majority of side missions, clearing an area of the map can become a little tedious, but only a little. There are still a few bugs, most of which I have came across are cosmetic in nature. The story is decent but not as interesting or original as Origins, nor are the characters. Probably one of my biggest issues with the game is the ridiculous lack of amror variants. RPG's such as this should have hundreds, instead there are only around 3 or 4 different looks for each character. Note to developers : you can never have 'too many' sets of armor. Even Dark Souls 2 doesn't have enough and it has at least 20 times as many as Inquisition. Verdict - Not perfect but a solid RPG which fans of the DA series and the genre itself will appreciate. It kind of plays like a cross between Skyrim, Dragons Dogma and DA and has addressed most of the issues from the awful DA2. Not as engaging as DA Origins but if you're looking for a new rpg to play and like the games I mentioned above, you won't be too disappointed.

Rewriting and rescoring this; the more I have played it, the worse it gets, the match engine is pretty awful.I have tried leagues with several different teams and the same flaws occur, its just far too random and makes no sense at all. An example, I am Arsenal, just beat Anderlect 5-0 away from home in Europe and then beat Man City 2-0 in the league; I then play Bournmout in the cup and get pumped 3-0 for no reason at all; all the players that got 9's etc for some reason get 5's; both prematch and half time team talks gain green responses from all players but still they could not beat Bournmouth, its ridiculous, and just one example of many senseless results I've had with different teams. Good - The awful transfer flaws from 2014 have for the most part been fixed. Prices for players are far, far more realistic than FM 2014 where for example, 30 year old Darijo Srna cost 20mil, and 35 year old Lucio cost 18mil, just ridiculous. Now prices match real life. The new interface, whilst rather dumbed down, is ok. Hours and hours can still be sunk into the game very easily. Bad - The match engine has not improved very much over 2014; too many flaws including - far too many freekicks hit the woodwork, the opposition scores from almost every corner regardless of your tactics or personel, slide tackles won far too often land in the feet of an opposition player (not quite as often as 2014) and still, for some strange reason players almost never score in a 1 on 1 situation and never, ever after a run, it will always end in 'what a goal that would have been' or ' he did so well until the finish'. They never actually finish it. In fact the most common way of scoring is crosses, any other approach is useless. The tactics are also a bit dodgy - I find playing the 4-2-3-1, the formation that almost every top club plays today results in your team conceding goals laughably easy. Verdict - Even with the huge, infuriating fundemental flaws with the match engine and tactics FM 2015 is still playable but it is the worst match engine of any FM I have ever played. I have never felt less guilty about reloading a save before a game because most of the results seem to be completely random. Just an 5/10, a 7 if they were to actually fix the match engine. Worse than 2014 overall.

A huge disappointment. DO NOT believe any of the positive 10/10 reviews, they are complete bs. You could judge this game as either an ES game, an MMO or even both, but regardless of what you decide this game is, the fact is that it is very poor. Like most devoted ES fans, I was very excited about this game, but unfortunately, we haven't been given an ES game, only another poor generic WoW clone set in Tamriel. Good - Graphics are decent, the increased scale makes cities feel more like actual cities than ES games like Skyrim etc. Character creation is decent and the concept of crafting is good; the idea of crafting multiple sets of the same level gear but differing in appearance depending on faction style really should have been in every scrolls game. Bad - as with all MMO's, the role playing element is extremely diluted to the point that it doesn't feel like an RPG at all. The map is unremarkable and generic; ES fans should be loving the fact of seeing mainland Morrowind for the first time but it has nowhere near the impact of the offline scrolls games areas like Skyrim or Oblivion, its just meh. The combat ****. Verdict - Once again an MMO developer has been too afraid to create a unique game and has tried to copy much of WoW in order to steal some of their fan base. What they should have done was appeal to ES fans instead and give us another great scrolls game instead of this mess. 4/10 at best.

A great RPG and one of the best in the genre. Once again the negative user 'reviews' are ridiculous and make no sense as this is a clear 8/10 game at least. Good - The story really is top class making for an immersive experience. Voice acting is very good, especially amongst the companion characters and surpasses most other games in this respect. The world and setting itself is alos superb with just the right blend of medieval and fantasy feel. A great element is the different prologues for each race and class the player can choose; this really does make each one feel very different and add replay value.Combat works fairly well and is quite similar to the KOTOR games; the blood spatter is also a nice touch and makes long battles feel more epic. Bad - The graphics are pretty poor which doesn't take much away from the game but is a shame. The character creator is one of the worst in any game I have played with very few options. This also reflects on the npcs which seem to be pulled from about only a dozen models. The game isn't truly open world like Skyrim and for a game of its type can sometimes feel very linear. Not nearly enough armor sets with only about 3 or 4 different types and the rest just reskins. Verdict - Think KOTOR but with a fantasy setting. An excellent RPG that can be played for hundreds of hours with replays. If you love games like Skyrim, KOTOR, Mass Effect or just RPG's in general you will love this game. 8/10.

An Immersive, outstanding RPG and one of the best ever made in its genre. Laughable that any 'review' could give it any less than 9/10. Good - Huge, beautiful and immersive world with almost limitless role play possibilities and gameplay choices. Like all truly great games, you can sink hours into Skyrim without really doing much in the game. The main story, while not as well suited to all players races as Oblvions is excellent and fits perfectly into the land of the Nords. The overall gameplay is far superior to any scrolls game that has come before. JUst a great, great game with potentially thousands of hours of gameplay. Bad - Yes there are some bugs that persist even today and some can be frustrating. Lore wise its just not as open ended as oblivion; if you care about such things as I do, you would never choose a Dragonborn to be anything but a Nord or maybe Imperial, anything else would be stupid. Verdict - Any game of this scale is going to have bugs, some smaller ones have never been fixed, but that doesn't stop Skyrim from being a truly great game and possibly the best rpg ever made. 9/10, FACT.

Anyone who gives this game a 10/10 is either insane, is being paid by Rockstar, is about 12 years old or has never played any other game before. It is without doubt the most disappointing game of all time and a 6/10 at absolute best and the scores the 'critics' have given it just proves the fact that they are not worth reading. Good - Not very much, but the 3 characters are well designed and the map itself is adequate in size. The overall gameplay is solid and there is definitely some fun to be had with some of the set piece missions standing out in particular. Bad - Where to start? No ambient hiests, severe, almost criminal lack of interiors, no character progression, development or empire building of any kind, unable to buy houses, unable to enter owned businesses (lack of interiors!), awful, awful story, only around 30% of the map is actually used for anything useful, the frined 'like' % has been ditched so doing any activity with any other character is pointless, the girlfriend system is awful, unfinished concepts (Trevors meth business) and in general just terrible design decisions everywhere. There is a total lack of anything meanignful to do in this game; I mean ist all well and good being able to play golf but where are things like dealing etc that can be used to run a criminal empire? Verdict - The most overrated, overhyped game ever made which is a shame because it could, and should have been great. If you like driving around aimlessly with the option to play a pointless minigame this could be the game for you. If you have a brain though, you will be left bitterly disappointed by an average game thats a 6/10 (generous) and one of the worst games in the GTa series, FACT.

An elitist filled, **** bag fest ****, loved only by those sad, sad individuals who have spent so much time in the game they refuse to let go ro accept any form of criticism of their beloved WoW no matter how bad it gets. Good - A huge and often vibrant and diverse world with lots of different options. Leveling can be quite fun for a while. Bad - Pretty much every server is filled with the type of **** bags I described above. An example; somebody in the general chat is looking for a player to join a party, but then specifies exactly what stats they must have and that they must have great gear. No seriously, this actually happens, there are actually people as sad as this. Its like, where the hell is the fun in that? The graphics are far too cartoony, most armor looks crap as you will most likely be wearing pieces from different sets which seldom look good together. The gameplay is now terribly dated and boring. Verdict - WoW IS NOT and never has been a great game. If you can deal with or ignore most of the other players it is just ok, average at best but not really worth the cash. Also got to laugh at the review that stated 'by far one of the best PC games of all time' lol, I assume the person was joking, or smoking crack at the time. Not only is not even in the top 100 best pc games of all time, its not even the best MMO.

State of Decay6

A decent game with some great elements that is let down by overall design issues and the unpolished nature of the game. Good - the survival element is there and the resource gathering and survivor recruitment is addictive and also makes you feel like you are really building something from theground up. The open world works fairly well and the game achieves a great apocalyptic atmosphere that other games do not. Bad - Sometimes the sheer volume of side missions given via radio are both annoying and overwhelming and don't allow you to just go out and scavange if you atcually want to complete the side missions. The game feels unpolished, with pretty poor graphics and a basic gameplay system. Many of the bread and butter elements like resource gathering etc get boring pretty quickly. The story is pretty awful. There are only around 3 face models for recruitable survivors and npc's. Verdict - if you like sandbox games and/or zombie apocalypse games there is fun to be had here. But the fun can quickly become repetative and the game isn't helped by the lack of polish and unfinished feel.

Don't believe any of the moronic reviews with 0/10 etc this is an outstanding, 9/10 game. Good - Its Dark Souls but much, much bigger, more armour, more weapons, more bosses more options, same great core gameplay. PvP is not as much of an unplayable lag-stab fest as it was in Dark Souls and this time can actually be fun. Some truly memorable areas and bosses as we expected. Bad - Not quite as well put together area/level wise as Dark Souls. The larger scale has caused the graphics to suffer a little. Verdict - More of what was good in Dark Souls, an awsome game that provide thousands of hours of gameplay. Lol at 'gamers' who say its rubbish.

No way a 10/10 but definitely the best MMO on the market, especially if you are a Star Wars fan. Good - The only MMO with true role playing, each class being fully voice acted. Like all MMO's should be, grouping and pvp are not essential to progress, but its there if you want it. Servers run well in my expperience, very rarely kicked or laggy. It 'feels' like Star Wars having similar atmospheres to KOTOR etc, helped by most planets being well designed and unique from eachother. It is not an elitist docuhe bag fest like WoW. Bad - Role play is still not as strong as a single player, offline game, as with all MMO's. Graphics aren't great. Verdict - if you love Star Wars and particularly the KOTOR games, you will love this. The best MMO out there by a long way.
