Interesting story and fun gameplay. I enjoyed all the platforming and obstacle parts. The game actually can prove to be somewhat challenging once you make it towards the end. Overall, I would rate it higher had it been half the length. Ten hours and you play the same exact way through it all. Yes, you unlock 5 bots and can customize their damage and upgrade them. Though, the shooting and movement remains the same. No subtitles for the audio logs made it annoying. Having to pause and sit still so you could make out what was being said. The finale left me somewhat confused, but as I thought about it some things aren't shown to you straight up, which I'm a fan of. Media where your hand isn't being held is a genre I'm a very fond of. I'm sure every single audio log would clear more up, though I don't care enough to go back and listen. I feel as if this game was done under a strict budget and or time crunch. If so, I have zero gripes for what was produced. It's just, a bit more love and this could've been a fantastic game.

This game will touch your heart. I'm not into platformers, but the genre rarely matters when the story is this good. Some of the most gorgeous level design in the gaming industry resides within this title.

Great length for a game like this, just ten hours. The huge roster kept this game from becoming boring, though it did feel repetitive. The ending was amazing and is better written than the canon part three ending. Less dues ex machina and more brains, IQ, and outplay.

Horror done right. Every second has your heart pounding. With minimal lighting and no HUD, you're bound to jump out of your seat.

There are so many things to love about this game. The franchise and main character have gone down as some of my all time favorites. Camera Work 10/10, Voice Acting 10/10, Female Lead 9/10

This is THE definitive experience for seasoned dragon ball fans. Packed full of everything fans love. Plentiful roster, a thralling story mode, what-if scenarios, tournaments, versatile ranked modes, gorgeous animations, and a high skill ceiling to top it all off. Easy to play, hard to master. Not to mention, it's not even 30 gigabytes and extremely compatible. These devs made the game look stunning, while keeping it accessible to most people. The best dragon ball game ever made. The only negative are new fans. They shouldn't start with this game. Kakarot is still the best dragon ball title for story mode. If you've played Kakarot, watched the anime, or read the manga... then Sparking Zero is THE game for you. ----------------- I wrote the review within the first couple days. It's now been months, it was obviously a rushed game. Needs a huge overhaul or SZ2.

Mirrors edge meets zombie apocalypse, it's a thrilling yet horrific **** game has a refreshing take on not only how you traverse the map, but how you deal with zombies too. Parkour is the main thing, as you wield a melee weapon majority of the game. Not your average horde shooter. Completing tasks and saving the city during the day, running from the vicious hordes at night. Jumping across the city tops avoiding zombies, and crafting fireworks to distract them as you lock-pick doors. Amazing experience, super immersive, and suspenseful ending. Going in completely blind, and this game ended up in my top 15 of all time. With my headset on and my lights dimmed down, I felt like I had just completed something I was a truly a part of. Truly immersed.

Fun hack and slash gameplay as you wield a magic as a Tri-Arc, beautiful cinematic storytelling, and a stunning ending. Unreal 5.1 is gorgeous. Love-able and relatable characters, there's even some nice slice of life cinematics in between! Visual and Cinematic storytelling gets a 10/10 from me. The story was great beginning to end, with some cool plot twists along the way. Though, the terminology seemed jarring even towards the end of the game. Too much jargon. I do enjoy being immersed, but sometimes it can come off annoying, where the terminology does just the opposite of immersion. The gameplay can feel stale at times, though is still fun! There's tons of different spells and gear to choose from, along with different enemy types. Overall, I give this title a 7/10. The story really carries it for me, and having beaten the game I do miss Jak. I want a sequel!

Beat up shadows and rizz up waifus all while solving a rural town murder mystery! One of the best games I have ever played.

One of Marvels best games ever. My favorite part was the dialogue, and the relationships you build with each hero. The more extensive your marvel knowledge, the more you get to experience and take away from this title. Flew under manys radar, it's a gem. The reason I give it a 7.5 is due to the speed up feature which is non-existent. I could be bias, as I'm used to other turn based games such as the Persona series having this feature. Sometimes at the ends of turns or moves, the game lags and a character will just freeze for a couple seconds. Not a huge deal, but that combined with no fast forward feature and the notable performance issues (the game is hardware demanding, despite being a turn based deck builder) I just can't put it higher. But, not everyone playing cares about good fps or speeding up the game.

Wouldn't argue with someone giving this a 10. It does nothing wrong, while offering a fun open world with unique enemies to beat and puzzles to solve. This is truly a timeless piece, playable for any age. Literally, any age can enjoy this.

If destiny and souls-like had a third person shooter with abilities and classes. super fun, great story, good endgame grind. Similar to Once-Human, I never felt this game strike home with its aesthetic. The time period and abilities, the world seems cluttered. Many ideas that don't mesh well together.

The campaign was nothing more than a slideshow. It become very boring over time, and it's predecessor shines over it. The combat is fun and intense.

First glance, I didn't give this game much thought due to it being similar to dragon quest, which I dropped after the first 5 minutes. Yet with odyssey, I played for five hours straight last night. This game done a great job with pulling me into a genre I didn't like before. Though it is too easy, and combat becomes boring. In retrospect, I was happy to dive into the world of a series I love but overall the game is lackluster.

easily my new number one favorite FPS campaign game. just straight up running and gunning done right. there are tons of guns, and some variety with runes. i will be replaying on max difficulty

This IS SPIDER-MAN. I've played many titles of the years for this superhero, this is THE game. THE definitive Spider-Man experience. Beginning to end, the story encapsulates what is means to be Spider-Man. The characters are touching and memorable, the plentiful missions create a refreshing experience that never grows stale, and finally the ending. Every superhero fan should play this game.

Eye-candy and fun swinging. One of the best art styles to come from a Spider-Man title.

My favorite souls-like game. The Yokai are gorgeous, and the stance system keeps me on my toes.

One of the best horror platformers I have ever played. This game is almost perfect. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer, but there is DLC to scratch that itch.
