I gobbled down six of the eight episodes available for review, and will say – without even the slightest reservations – that “Lotus” regulars should check in for this third season. You won’t be disappointed. Just be prepared to get your jaw dropped and your raised eyebrows torched right off.

Although she [Jennifer Coolidge] lit up two seasons of the quirky Mike White drama, she has a kindred spirit in Parker Posey, who takes the third season to her own offbeat heights. .... “The White Lotus,” season three, is a bit more lush than the previous two and stuffed with phrases you’ll be hearing for months to come.

For now, this third story is familiar but is still enthralling – the inevitable terror bringing a stomach-churning dread to even the most innocuous scenes. In fact, this might be the darkest series yet.

Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Walton Goggins, Carrie Coon, Leslie Bibb, and Michelle Monaghan are all at the top of their game here, and each moment they're on screen is bewitching.

Not to worry, fans — the third is hugely enjoyable, but someone's missing and you know who.

The season largely leaves the thoughts of these characters about their work and the people it serves unexplored. That disconnect is, perhaps, the point—a statement about the chasms that separate the classes, about the alienation of labor in what amounts to a micro-colony of the extremely affluent—but it leads the proceedings to feel incohesive. Instead, season three works best as a mood piece.

The bloated ensemble has become a crutch to avoid actually developing anything in the way of character or plot, and a tactic to distract the audience from the fact that we've been watching variations of the same story for three seasons.

The first episode sets up the upcoming events really good, directing, acting and everything production wise is top notch, let's see how this plays out.

The third time the charm, but the other way around. While Mike White can create interesting characters and plot setting, the execution just wan’t there. And unfortunately - more wtf moments in terms of story than omg (the fruits?? Really??) From Ep1 everything went down the whole thing dragged, characters made dumber and dumber decisions and their development was on a level a 13yo might possible concieve it (the gatekeepers „morał” decisions especially, Rick’s finał decisions ). Sam Rockwell’s monologue was the highlight of the season, some strange scenes were there too, but in overall made me lose interest in the series.

Real nose-dive in quality. Not really much of an interesting story or cast. The back talking jealousy of the girl trio is kinda funny, and the rich father completely losing his mid is interesting. Of course we wonder what Greg is up to. Other then that, it is really mediocre. Also the visual quality really went downhill. Season 2 had these amazing locations in Sicily filmed really well, with lots of telephoto lenses that really brought in the backgrounds, lots of great landscape shots of the cliffs, beach, and mountains, and the volcano. The filming of season 3 it is just really claustrophobic, way too much background blur with just the person talking in focus. I can barely see the background or anything else, so what is the point in being at a location? in many shots where even are we? Just looks like a random jungle. Feels like I am drunk. Would love to see more of a unique Thai location, it is such a waste of opportunity.

We knew he was his father, and that the youngest would drink the cocktail. A boring season with a predictable and rather ridiculous ending, stretched unnecessarily to 8 episodes. A failure of the critics, too, as you can see here.

Honestly, I had high hopes for Season 3 of The White Lotus, but it turned out to be boring as hell. The setting might be exotic and the visuals still stylish, but the story just drags on without any real momentum. The characters feel flat, and the tension that made the previous seasons so intriguing is nowhere to be found. Instead of biting satire or suspenseful twists, we get slow conversations and underdeveloped subplots. It feels like the show is trying too hard to be artsy or deep, but ends up being painfully slow and, frankly, dull. I kept waiting for something—anything—to happen, but it never really did. It’s a disappointment, especially after such a strong first season. Unless you're watching just for the scenery, you can probably skip this
