The Sex Lives of College Girls

There is less Willow (Renika Williams), so far, than last time, which is a great sadness. But the rest are all present, correct and adding to the general sense of a show bursting with good things: talent, energy and wit to burn.

Season 2 can feel a little stagnant at times, with certain subplots feeling overused. Still, it’s always fun, with many jokes in possession of that searing awareness that Kaling especially is so good at. It still manages to offer the four girls some character growth.

The Sex Lives Of College Girls continues the good vibes in Season 2, with a well-oiled comedic ensemble and an easygoing charm that makes the show very bingeable.

HBO has a storied history with female quartets, from "Sex and the City" to "Girls." Yet The Sex Lives of College Girls carves out its own niche with a distinct voice and plenty of very funny material, capturing four young women from diverse backgrounds thrown together as roommates while coming of age as first-year college students.

The show has enough charm and energy to make it easy to watch, if not compelling. The casting is good, so that the friends become both endearing and a bit more than the stereotypes they are written as.

Like college, the series can be a bumpy ride, but offers enough promise to transcend its freshman offering.

We've seen better depictions of college misadventures, and while most aren't as realistically inclusive as this one, neither are their mechanics as obvious.

Okay so I'm going Start by saying that I'm a dude so I know I wasn't the target audience exactly but I'll say Laughed nonstop and I fell in love with a couple of the ladies already I highly highly recommend it but please keep the title in mind when deciding for children because it's most definitely not a children's program if you couldn't tell by the title this is sheer fun but really for adults only

Metacritic incels strike again! Sure its not the funniest show I've seen but for gods sake, a 1? It's entertaining.

There’s definitely some funny and interesting content here, but, does nearly every product by Hollywood now have to be mired in cookie-cutter identity politics? In case you missed it from Star Trek discovery, Marvel 4th phase, Star wars reboots, etc: white, straight males = bad; non-white, non-straight, non-cis = good. It’s getting tiring and predictable, not to mention, alienating half the fan base right off the bat. I powered thru the whole first season just so I knew what it was all about, but I won’t be returning for another.
